Fresh food, amazing sauces, very satisfying!! Was the perfect late night food craving fix.

Disappointing experience. First time customer - placed order on the phone to pick up a combination plate and added two extra tahini's. Total was $25 Asked how many Pita's came with it and was told two - so I didn't add extra. Got home and not only was there only 1 1/2 very thin pita's but there was no side dish. There was meant to be Hummus or salad etc but not only did the guy not ask what I wanted - he didn't bother to include anything. Called them back and he apologized (sort of). Said the hummus was sitting there and he forgot to include it. Oh well 1st world problems but come on. It's not like they were slammed. There were two other people in there. Don't they package the same food orders everyday? The food I did get was ok. Nothing really to write home about. Should have gone to Zankou. Lesson learned. read more

Based on reviews I picked up carryout from here on my way back to the hotel. Service was great, food was fresh- cooked to order so expect 10-15 mins. Everything was delicious by the time I ate it: chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly, greek salad (no olives) and dressing were light and flavorful with a zest of lemon, hummus was great, dill yogurt was good. Next time I would probably get more pita to soak up all the sauces. Restaurant was clean and bright with seating inside and out. Definitely recommend checking this out if you're in the area. read more

I ordered a beef kobideh wrap, but the owner told me they were out of beef. I then ordered a chicken wrap and a salmon wrap. After that, other customers came in and were able to order beef, and the owner accepted their orders. The service was poor and my order was incorrect. The chicken was very dry. I believe this location was recently revived into Kabob Bar, so I wanted to give it a try. The staff was extremely friendly, and I had a pleasant interaction with Khorshid. It's always a good sign to me when the employees are Persian. The inside is clean and modern, and there is ample seating. I ordered the garden salad with a large chicken kabob skewer. The salad dressing was light, refreshing and bursting with citrus flavor. The kabob was juicy, and gave off that signature grilled flavor. It was very well seasoned. Unfortunately, I'm moving soon, and I won't be able to get to come here many more times, but I definitely recommend it to anyone living in the area or passing by. A great edition to the neighborhood. He was so nice to chat with while my food was being prepared by Sean (also very nice). When I got home I couldn't believe the portion size of the 'daily special'. I came here to have lunch and parked in front of the restaurant in what appeared to be a free parking spot. Before I could go inside, an employee from the Kebab Bar came up to me and told me not to park there because I was blocking his business. I explained that I was there to eat at the restaurant, but he kept saying he would call the police if I didn't move my car. I was very surprised by how I was treated. If customers aren't allowed to park there, the restaurant should clearly post signs instead of threatening people. Because of this experience, I decided not to eat there and left. Kebab Bar is INCREDIBLE!!! I have been there twice this week (this location has only been opened for a couple of weeks). The kebabs are so tender and flavorful - I have had the chicken kebab and chicken koobideh. The dolmas and the lentil soup are both SO fresh and you can tell they have the best quality ingredients!
