This company definitely earns their bad reviews. I was schedule to have my fridge repaired. I waited for 7 hours the day of the appt and no one ever showed. I called in...waited on hold for almost 10 min and the customer service rep (CSR) hung up the call. Called back in and waited again....the not friendly CSR advised me that the appt had been cancelled by them 12 days prior (right after I made the appt). They didn't tell me they cancelled my appt and it will take them another 5 days to be put back on the schedule. my appointment was today at 9 to 1 for a 7 month old Samsung dishwasher repair. I called and confirmed my appointments at 8:40 in the morning and was told the tech would be there in the allotted time. At 9:10 I received a call that the tech was injured and would not show up. Next appointment next Thursday. Be aware of this company, I dealt with this company before for a Samsung fridge a couple years ago. This company cancelled 2 or 3 times the appointment on a 30 min notice, and the excuse was always , like it was today... the tech was injured but can be back to work the following week. I took time off work to be here for the repair and nobody shows. I just might have to invoice them for lost wages, my time doesn't count? My feeling is the don't have enough work in the area I live in and its not worth their time. If you have a warranty issue with Samsung products, ask for a different company , Samsung will tell you they don't have anybody else to service , refer them to the reviews and the terrible customer service they provide. If I can put 0 stars I would.I had my fridge not cooling and Samsung company has referred me to them. They cancelled my appointment on Tuesday because they apparently knew what part my fridge needed. They came out with no parts and when I called in they said I never agreed on the repair cost so they cancelled the part. That not true I agree to all the costs. Then the first tech came out ordered the parts said it will be 3 days until I come back and keep in mind I have a Toddler and no fridge. 3 days pass a new tech comes out with the part that was ordered diagnosed apparently that's the wrong part ordered new parts that will take only 4-5 days to receive the parts and with all those two techs they don't know what they are doing they are calling other people and asking them what to do. Waited for a week on parts this is going on three a new tech comes out diagnoses it and says o you need the part that was ordered the first time I'll come back tomorrow. Comes back fixes it. He came out Monday and fixed Tuesday. My little one got sick and I wasn't able to inspect the fridge but I opened my fridge on Friday and saw two broken shelf's that I never saw before. I have a $4000 dolllar fridge and I Abby that fridge because I spent so much money. I called the company no one picked up Friday. Saturday called apparently they don't work. Called back Monday they said they will call talk to the tech so I called 10-11am and never got a call back that day. Called today Tuesday and they apparently said they called all the techs they didn't break it. One tech saw A shelf broken but apparently the other one no one saw broken. I must of took a hammer and broken that other $130 dollar shelf and called on so they can fix it. When I called on the assistant manager couldn't do crap and doesn't know what she is doing. I got transferred to the manager John and he ended up hanging the phone up in the middle of our conversation and said he can order the part for me I'll have to pay for the part but they won't charge me for labor. Like are you kidding me..... I paid over $500 dollars in repair for my fridge was with no fridge for 3 weeks and they broke my shelf and refused to fix it or even apologize that the techs took that long to fix my fridge and didn't even know what they were doing on the fridge. It has been weeks of either no shows or reschedules and calling Samsung results in more delays as I have finally demanded another company to service our brand new appliance. Samsung's first choice to send for warranty service to our refrigerator would be my last... rather have a broken fridge, to be honest. They were 2 hours late for their "window", so I had left to pick my son up from school when they texted to let me know they were en route (I don't look at texts while driving). They apparently showed up and knocked once while my wife was in the bathroom and then left before she got out. Frantically called the customer service line, the girl on the other end told me she would turn the tech around and send him back. 15 minutes later he was 10 miles away and moving further out (they send a Google map of your tech's location with the ETA text) I called back and asked for the tech's cell number and she said they don't do that. I asked that someone please call me back when they have a revised ETA, she said they would. Half an hour passes and they still hadn't called back so I called them again, they must have recognized my phone number and hang up on me before they even said hello. Call back again and their phone system sends me to eternal hold. Now wise to their caller ID tricks, I call with my work cell, same girl answers right away, I say I'm trying to find out what's going on with my service call, give her my phone number and she straight up hung up on me immediately. She does NOT belong in customer service. RC Willey rep told me they've had problems with Tekniton before and set me up with a different company now. Tekniton is HOT GARBAGE!!! My Samsung gas range had a flame from the knob. Tekniton sent a tech ( Alex ) to repair. Verified flame issue and said a valve would be ordered . They closed the order an no repair. After several calls To Samsung still no service. 10 days later I smelled a gas leak from the same location and shut off the gas to the stove. Again Samsung has Tekniton returning in a week. If I was not at home, the gas leak could have escalated into a very serious issue. Being without a stove for nearly 3 weeks is unacceptable. By the way, the stove is a year old and still under warranty. read more

I've had this company come out before for issues with my washer and dryer. They are contracted through Samsung and came out for service request under covered under our protection plan. One of the girls that schedules the appointment is really lacking in costumer service skills. Incredibly dry and lacking in the way she communicates. Say hello or identify yourself would go a long way. They've usually come during the time scheduled. One of the last two visits the tech was supposed to come between 9-1 and didn't show up until 5. He called me about 25 minutes before coming to confirm it was still ok to come and explained the delay. While it worked out that I was home that day, he really should've called earlier to communicate he was running behind. I get it, things happen and things get pushed back. He was pleasant and communicated the issues with my dryer clearly I would only say to communicate delays better. Communication is key so that could be improved with this company. There is one other girl who called to schedule the next appointment who was much more pleasant. I feel bad for not getting her name, but she was much better. So tHe tech came back about a week later and came at the scheduled time. I give the guy credit he worked really hard to fix my dryer. It wasn't repairable, but that's because it's a Samsung. So while my experience wasn't perfect it wasn't horrible. read more

I see the many negative reviews for this repair company; however, I can only speak to my experience with them. I had a TV repair -- I did notice many of [negative] reviews were for dishwasher or refrigerator repairs; so I'm assuming my technicians were different. I had a huge TV with a relatively minor pixel imperfection, but since it was under warranty and considering I paid so much for it, I figured Samsung should fix it. The two technicians -- Russian gentlemen whose names I unfortunately cannot remember -- were very polite, and didn't complain about having to repair what some repairmen might consider a petty little problem. They worked very efficiently together. They were even able to get the big TV up onto a pretty high fireplace mantle, when it originally was on a small TV stand. I really appreciate the work they did, and the manner in which they did it. read more

I was referred to this company by Samsung where I paid the $100 inspection fee on two separate appliances. They come out and diagnose the problem then I wait two weeks for repair parts to come in. They return and tell me they can't work on the washer because they can't pull it away from the wall and that the refrigerator actually can't be fixed. So why didn't they actually inspect my appliances the first time? Why didn't they tell me I needed to have the washer pulled away from the wall? So now 3+ weeks without a refrigerator and washer broken and still no answers... Oh AND they wouldn't leave my house until I paid the labor fee for the fridge even though they wouldn't fix it. read more

At first glance the technician thought I needed a new part for my stovetop - the low setting would not stay lit. I paid $100 for the initial visit. Two weeks later he returned and before installing a replacement part he used a screwdriver to adjust the level and voila - it worked. No new part, 10 minute job. He then proceeded to charge me another $125 for labor!! He called u hi is manager about discounting the charge since there was not much 'labor' to which she responded 'No'. Bottom line? $225 for 20 minutes worth of labor (over the 2 visits) - no parts. I'm disappointed and a little shocked at the managers response. Let's hope I won't need anymore repairs on my Samsung products. read more

Absolutely the worst repair company I have ever experienced. I want to completely return my product so I never have to deal with these people. Our two-month old dishwasher broke and I called Samsung. Made the appointment with Samsung and this place called to confirm a few days later. I let the call go to voicemail. I took the morning off of work to be there for the repairman and then they didn't show up. I called and they said we had our appointment for a different time. I played their voice mail back for them and their response was to completely cancel our appointment without telling us. I cannot fathom how a company like this exists and has contracts from name brand appliance companies, but they do. UPDATE: Samsung reported that Teckniton cancelled our appointment because we were too far out of their service area. We live 3.5 miles from their office. UPDATE 2: Samsung reported that Teckniton now says our appointment was cancelled because they were too busy. Either way, horrible service. read more

This review is for the customer service woman only. The technician who came out was very helpful and followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was working, which it was, at the time, working but has sense had the same problem. Customer service was so bad that I cannot give them anything other than a one star review. They kept trying to cancel the appointment and were outright lying to me about the reason for the cancellation. When i pushed back, she was extremely rude and hung up on me. I had to call at least 5 times just to make sure that they did not cancel the appointment. If your warranty company tries to send you to Tekniton, just tell them no. After the first time I told Samsung that I refuse to deal with Tekniton again. They set me up with A and A Pro Services and they are so much better and more professional. He had to call someone to help by phone. He said that he was not sure how many fans the refrigerator had. So now we found out that the refrigerator could not be repaired. Tekniton was setup by my extended warranty service. They called within a day to schedule. Then they had to reschedule as the parts were late, but the next appt ended up being just the next day. Had a great visit from Andre. Super professional, called me ahead of time to make sure his visit time would match our schedule. Replaced the parts needed in under 30 minutes, maybe 20. Explained everything. I have no idea how this company can have such low reviews with this exceptional service. On time, work done without any hassle. I highly recommend them. read more

HORRIBLE! Their "protocol" is to call you before your appointment. They called when I was at work. I tried to call back five times and was first put on hold for 5 minutes or so, and then a recording would come on saying that the person I was trying to reach was unavailable, and it would disconnect me. The day of my service appointment, I received a text message saying that my ticket had been canceled. It has been a week and I still have a broken dryer. I purchased a Samsung television. It was faulty upon arrival. Samsung scheduled repair through Tekniton. They rescheduled 3 times, twice the day before. Then they just outright cancelled and promised to call back "when the parts come in." A week passed with no call. As others mention, they have no working phone number. When you call, the line rings, places you on hold, then hangs up because there is no voicemail set up. I tried over and over to no avail. Finally called Samsung back directly. They scheduled yet another appointment. I sat home all day, as the appointment window was 1pm to 5pm. It's now 5:30pm and they never showed. Never called. Number still doesn't work. Unbelievable. If you have a warranty repair ask that they do not refer you to this company!! 1) had appointment 9-1, had to call and ask what's going on at 1240. Guy came out after 1. Very frustrating to lose all those hours of work. Cost money. came out to diagnose issue and determined product was still under warranty. Was informed that parts would be order and I would receive a phone call to schedule repair. Friday 2) following Thursday I had not heard from Tekniton and called only to find out they need a copy of my sales receipt, I asked why no one had called me to let me know and they had no answer and wouldn't let me speak to a manager. Another week without a refrigerator. Receipt delivered through email and Parts ordered. Very easy if I had been asked for it up front. 3) following Wednesday I get a call that repairman is 20 minutes out. 10 minutes later get a second call that I need to pay $90 for the diagnoses. This repair is covered under manufacturer warranty. Called Samsung, they also said I shouldn't have to pay since it's a covered repair. Tried calling Tekniton, they said they were going to cancel the repair since I wasn't paying they $90, of course through this bad follow up and poor customer service I had a few choice words. Tekniton cancelled my repair. I called Samsung and asked to have another authorized repair service out to the home. read more

I too had a bad experience with this company. I had an appt with a technician on 2/23. On the morning of the appt I get a text that my appt is for 2/29. I call them back right away and Jessica at Tekniton assured me that my appt is still set up for 2/23. Well nobody showed up nor tried contacting me to let me know. I tried calling the service center at Tekniton and after being on hold for 10 minutes I was transferred to a voicemail and couldn't leave a message cause it was full. I called 1-800-Samsung and was told there was nothing they can do cause Tekniton is not open on weekends and they are now closed. On Monday morning I tried calling Tekniton and spoke to Jessica (which she was very rude to me)when I asked to speak to manager she said manager wasn't available and she told me she would leave a message for manager Helen to call me back (and that she couldn't give out last names). I keep calling the 1-800-Samsung and keep getting the run around that I have to wait for service center(Tekniton) to call me back. I tried calling tekniton again and Jessica answered again and she hung up on me. There I go again calling 1-800-Samsung to see if they can do anything. I spoke to supervisor Michelle and Alisia and they sent message to supervisor at claims dept. It is now Wednesday and I call 1-800-Samsung to follow-up cause yet another day of no phone call. After several attempts and being on hold I was finally given an appt for tommorrow. The representative told me that Tekniton made me an appt for tomorrow. Which by the way was the same appt they gave me when I called to confirm my 2/23 appt. Up until this point I still never heard from any supervisor at Tekniton nor a reason why no one showed up for my appt on 2/23. If it was up to me I would NEVER do any business with TEKNITON. The agent Jessica should not be working there. She has very bad customer service... let see if technician shows up tomorrow as I have been without a washer since 2/5.. She was just sounded like she hated life and upon reading the other reviews I immediately called Costco back and told them I don't want to work with this company. The lady did not sound like she was having a bad day it sounded like she was her whole life was a miserable joke. All she had to do was give me Information about the appointment and couldn't even do that without mumbling something rude like "sheeesshhh" under her breath as she continued to speak to me in a rude way. Extremely horrible! We bought a Samsung 4 piece kitchen set thru Costco and our dishwasher went out. Costco directed us to this company for warranty repair. Not only i waited for over a week for them to "come out" they called me the day before saying that they don't have the parts in stock for tomorrows repair and they would need to reschedule. I asked they that they had the whole week to get the parts ordered, and where are the parts now since you can track everything in todays world. Beware...they will send out a technician without telling you if your Samsung refrigerator is older than 5 years old there are certain things they cannot fix. Had I known that there were limitations to the repairs they are able to do I would not have scheduled an appointment with Tekniton. The technician was not able to fix the issue but still wanted $100 for coming out to tell me he couldn't fix it. I tried to get a refund since I was not fully informed of their limitations but got nowhere with Albina. She just kept repeating that I had agreed to the $100. She said they are not required to inform the customer that they are not able to do all repairs. Unbelievably poor customer service. read more
