My friend and I were heading to Temecula for a night and after looking at the photos of this place we decided to book it even though the price for a night was a little steep. As soon as we got to our room we felt like we had been duped. The photos you guys have up are so incredibly misleading. The only nice thing about this hotel is the decent view which from our room was half covered. The walls are chipped the floors are dirty.. and at some point we left the room for a few hours for dinner and when we got back our room smelled like someone had gotten high in it. Check in is at 4pm.. check out is at 11am.. $305 for 19 hours of which all we did was sleep in it for a few hours. we called and asked if we can check out at noon and we were told for an extra $40 we can extend it to 4pm. We didn't want to stay till 4 we wanted an extra hour.. to which we were told "we can only accommodate you guys until 11:30 because it's a weekend and we are very busy" but for an extra $40 it wouldn't have been a problem! At 11:45 someone showed up at our door to see if we were still there.. I'm honestly so annoyed by the entire experience! I will never ever think to stay at this hotel again. Nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. Waste of $300. I could have stayed somewhere cheaper with better hospitality and a nicer cleaner room. read more

Our stay here started off great. The room had a great view and looked to be in good condition, however it went down hill from there. Around 8am the people below us started having a party in their room. It got progressively louder to the point we called the front desk around 915pm. This was the first of 4 calls to the front desk and at 10pm I went over to the front desk asked they do something. She informed me they had called the room several times. I asked if security had been sent and she told they hadn't. They final sent over engineering as I don't think they have any security. I was informed there was no noise however the party got louder. I called the front desk and asked for the manager and was informed they didn't have one at night. I told the front desk you have a few minutes to get this resolved and if they didn't I was going down to take care of the problem. They final got it turned down a bite. The room floors were dirty. It looked like someone's pet peed on the floor near the door to the patio. My wife would not walk on the floor unless she had shoes on. Why would the hotel have carpeting when it is pet friendly. This hotel doesn't seem to have the proper staff to handle issues and caters to wedding parties so I would avoid this location. I can't wait to get my canned response from the owner everyone else gets. I got a call from Hailey apologizing for the issues we had last night. She comp the room and resort fees. Since they are now part of pechanga they are trying to make the right changes. read more

We stayed here for a wedding near by. The location can't be beat. It's a pretty big sized resort. Inside, the place looks quite dated. We had a nice king size room, but it was lacking tables and chairs. Just two giant armchairs. The kitchenette was nice and the bed was comfy. Free wifi is the best. However, it is showing its age. There was a ton of dust on the vents, the closet doors did not look like they were dusted in ages; the bathroom had lights missing and peeling paint and cracked light fixtures. We were in room 220. I didn't think it was worth the cost and would stay elsewhere. read more

Went here for golf package stay. There were a lot of weddings the weekend we stayed in May. We could see why because the surroundings are beautiful- woodsy feel to the area and the rooms had a rustic decor. We stayed in a King suite which was very spacious. Loved our second story with the wrap around balcony overlooking the golf course. We had no problems with our room other than a broken closet door but our friends had no AC in their room. They didn't notice it until they went to bed at 11:00pm which was too late for maintenance/ engineering to fix. That was disappointing. Rooms are somewhat outdated. Heard Pechanga Casinos bought out the Inn a couple of months ago so hopefully there will be some renovations which might see an increase in rates? It's a nice location,however, large rooms, great golf, friendly staff. Complementary shuttle ride to Pechanga and back to the Inn was nice service. We enjoyed our dinner at Cork& Fire. Service was great. No complaints. Would definitely dine there again. Overall, a nice stay. read more

Booked a stay here on a whim. Driven past it many times over the years. The grounds are beautiful, however, the hotel is absolutely over-priced. The bathroom flooring and door to the toilet was clearly water damaged. We paid for a "best view" room and it definitely didn't disappoint in that regard. We ordered room service from the Cork Fire and while it was tasty, the steak was overcooked for medium-well. More like WELLLLLL-done. Overall, it was a nice stay, but that $400+ a night when I could get a suite at a chain for that cost, really makes us not want to come back. read more

Came down to rest and work on my game. The Oaks and Stonehouse courses were good to great depending on the weather. The Creek course courses was a mess, no grass, too much mud, they need to close it and rehab everything on this nine. The golf staff was great, really great. They took care of me and others like we were new members to their club. Every day for 3 plus days. I was trying to knock the rust off my game and My short game was a mess. Thursday morning I took a lesson from Steve Saunders, PGA Pro and it was spot on . We worked for an hour and basic swing moves, stance, balance and focus and it all came back to me. I have been here a few times for friends birthday breakfast, but the hit was the homemade bisquits, which are NO longer being served. The staff said people would sit for hours and keep eating bisquits ? I would have gladly paid extra for them, anyway i wont be coming back since the bisquits arent there i will keep on down the Road and have brunch or breakfast at Pechanga instead of stopping at the Restaurant. Stayed here because it had a better rating on Booking.com than the previous hotel we stayed at. The previous hotel had a lower rating, but we loved it! So we assumed since this one had better rating, it would be much nicer....it was not. The view was nice, since we did pay for the wraparound patio, but the room itself sucked. The bathroom is horrible. I kept waking up all night because you could literally hear the people upstairs walking (they were not being obnoxious, but we could hear every step). The bed was sunken in, so it was a loooong night. Wouldn't stay here again, unfortunately. read more

Just stayed at Temecula Creek Inn this past weekend. It's very run down, very dirty and needs a major remodel. Our room's bathroom was dirty when we checked in and our sheets were stained. The service at the Cork fire kitchen was OK at the bar but very poor outside on the restaurant patio. We would have expressed these concerns/complaints while we were there but it was our friend's birthday and we didn't want to ruin her mood and make her feel like we weren't having a nice time. Temecula itself is a beautiful town but I wouldn't stay at this property again. Also, the hotel wifi is horrible so count on not being able to connect to internet and your texts not going through while you're there read more

After being evacuated from OC we just happened upon this property. The staff is AMAZING. Five Star service. They go out of their way to accommodate you in any way possible. The grounds are nicely maintained. Food is great, and the overall atmosphere is delightful. The rooms are a bit dated...so 5 stars would be a reach. Again having an amazing front desk, housekeeping and management team makes a huge difference. One more positive they are pet freindly! read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. I rarely leave any type of review, but this was ridiculous. We came an hour and fifteen after check in and our room were not ready. We had these rooms reserved for three months and received multiple emails on totals and check in times. The front desk guy was so beaten down he was just what ever about the situation but the managers and his back up were so condescending they would cut us off and just say "thank you for understanding" with no actually empathy in there voice. Once we got our room, it was DISGUSTING! There were used towels in the sink everything in the room seemed to be broken in some way, the tv kept losing signal, the bed and pillows are terrible, no one ever picked up our breakfast order, we were all there for a welcome diner which we were all at least 40 mins late to. For the price and fees of this hotel is not worth it, next time I would much rather stay at Motel 6 read more

I checked in to the Temecula Creak Inn because I needed a quiet, peaceful place to work and rest. I was in my room this morning when I heard a massive rumbling sound and felt the room shake. I thought it was an earthquake. The sound was terrifying. I peaked through the front door of my room on the top floor and realized that a massive tree had fallen right next to my room. The top of the tree branches were dangling over the hallway and I could see that it had taken down several other trees and damaged a section of the roof across from my room. If the tree had fallen on my roof, I'd be lucky to be writing this review because I could've been crushed. I called the front desk to report the accident and when they arrived, I told their supervisor, Sam, that I didn't feel safe in the room and wanted to be relocated until the flood flash warning was lifted around 10:45 am. The hotel's response was careless and pathetic. They said they couldn't help me because they didn't have any clean rooms. They never even offered to help me move my luggage out of the room. Without a place to stay, I left around 10:00 am in the middle of an epic storm and got on the freeway in the most dangerous driving conditions I've ever experienced with cars hydroplaning and spinning out of control next to me. After witnessing 4 accidents, I arrived home extremely rattled but safe. I then realized that I left the hotel room so quickly that I'd left clothes in the closet so I called the front desk to see if they could collect my personal items and send them to me. Sam agreed to do it but said the mailing charges would be billed to me. Really??? After narrowly escaping with my life, they couldn't find me a safe place to wait out the storm or send me my clothes? This is the absolute worst and most irresponsible customer service I've ever experienced. Shame on the hotel management!!! I should also mention that I found out another tree fell across the entrance to the resort earlier in the morning that had to be chopped up to let cars get in and out of the property. It was a BAD storm but a hotel with guests shouldn't have trees toppling down endangering people. One additional note is that there are no USB ports anywhere in the rooms, which are dated and dingy. The location of the resort is nice if you don't mind dodging trees and being treated like a 2nd class citizen. read more

We came here for our 10th anniversary getaway with our family, only to realize we got fooled/enticed by their website. It is worse than many 3 star hotels/inns/resorts we have stayed at. The carpet is so horribly dirty - we had to check out early with no refund just cos I was concerned about my little kids who rub themselves everywhere. My kids didn't want to get into the tub for a shower cos they couldn't tell the difference between old and dirty. It's horribly maintained and ridiculously expensive. Looks like people who book events with them or go golfing here have had a better experience. Definitely not recommended for a staycation/vacation. read more

I will start with the rooms... Not good. It looks like they haven't been updated in at least 10 years. (Maybe 15 to 20 years?) And the repairs that I did notice throughout the facility were done cheaply and poorly. Sad. I have stayed in 2 star hotels that had much nicer rooms. The good items? The bed was comfortable, and the refrigerator worked. But pretty much everything else was old, worn out and definitely NOT "4-stars". This hotel is in dire need of a complete remodeling. Now on to the good parts. The views from most rooms are fantastic. The grounds are very nice. The areas is quiet. The restaurant is good - although VERY over-priced. And finally, the condition of the golf course is the best it has been in years. I hope the new ownership puts in the needed money to completely remodel the rooms. Average place. Came here based on vacancy during a busy week to be very honest. I like that it is off the beaten path a bit. About 16mins drive from the main winery road. It was very quite and the food was decent. The customer service was on point. The 3 stars is primarily for the room itself. It just felt like it needed updating. Perhaps new paint and color scheme. The layout was a bit odd but not terrible. The wifi and TV was not solid, it was super spotty. The cable feed would freeze every few minutes , very difficult to enjoy a show while relaxing. The golf course view is nice and plenty of parking. Wouldn't be my top choice to stay but not terrible. FYI-dog friendly hotel . Doggies everywhere so avoid if you are allergy prone! read more

If I could give this hotel less than one star I would. Absolutely the worst hotel room I have ever walked into. It is NOTHING like what the pictures show - Motel 6 would be a massive upgrade. The bed sunk into a "V" when I sat down on it, stains all over the carpet and the sofa bed mattress was thin & heavily stained. House keeping doesn't leave the sofa beds made up so you can see exactly this filth level of the mattress. When they did arrive with sheets and blankets they all had holes in them. I was beyond shocked to that this is what you get for over $500 per night. The entire room including the bathroom looks it hasn't been updated in well over 10 years. Disappointed. Our day out was great and we looked forward to relaxing in the room with a glass of wine and a movie (on-demand). We had to call the front desk to find out that the movies were not available, and the T.V. was pixelated and spotty reception...most hotels have nice pillows, with a variety of soft or firm. I made a reservation over the phone a while back... under a wedding block. I was charged on my card so I presumed that it was booked. When I called the day before my booked date... they said that I never booked the room for the weekend I needed... and I was charged for the night on the night I made the reservation. They also had no rooms avail due to the 2 weddings that Friday. This left me in a bind and no where for my wife and I to stay. They did refund me... but still left a bad taste. I thought this place was gonna be super awesome. It looks great on the outside. Has some beautiful property and the rooms are on the better side but nowhere near worth the price...what I was most excited about was the food. We ordered room service and got the thirty-two-ounce porterhouse, which was $195, and the cheeseburger which was 24. Also, we got the doughnut holes for dessert. All the food comes from CPK which is their on-site restaurant. THIS FOOD WAS NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL!! Our $200 steak was unevenly cooked first of all. It was medium well At the tip medium in the middle and then at the very end, the thick part was medium rare. It was hard to cut through and Honestly, the cut of beef was good, but not the best. We'd ever had. I can't believe they have the nerve to charge. So much for something that was so underwhelming. The roasted asparagus was not just roasted, it was burnt. I mean, it's one thing to Char. Roast a vegetable, but it's another thing to have the outside completely blackened and taste like nothing but charcoal. The potato dish they gave us on the side was lazily put together with only blue cheese Sprinkles on top. Yes, the the dish was impressive with the thinly sliced potatoes all stacked on top of each other. But yeah, it was just butter. There was no salt or seasoning whatsoever. My partner got 2 diet cokes to go with dinner and both were flat. I ordered a drink from the bar. And by the time it got to me it was apparent, it had been sitting for quite some time as the ingredients separated and the ice was more than halfway melted. The burger was okay for a hotel burger. I guess the best part about that was the cheese, but the patties did not seem like they were made here at the hotel, but rather ordered from somewhere. The donut holes were more cake than donut, and the caramel sauce was very disappointing. Honestly, I expected more from a place that charges so much for everything. Never been so underwhelmed by a meal in my life. On top of that stupid us ordered breakfast for the next day...cinnamon toast crunch french toast and plain pancakes with drinks. My iced tea came as an iced coffee, the pancakes were cold and frankly, IHOP can make it better. Clearly made from a mix and if not then send your chef back to culinary school week 2 and relearn how to make pancake batter from scratch! Now, cinnamon toast crunch French toast. Yeah like the cereal. There was NO taste of cinnamon AT ALL let alone the taste of the iconic cereal. The "fresh brioche bread" was sliced store-bought crap you couldn't tell the difference between brioche and Texas toast. It was overcooked and served with random berries on top presumably to make it look pretty because it had no other purpose on the plate. The bottle of champagne I ordered an hour later took 30 MINUTES to get to my room and I had to call them to check up on it!! It was brought to me lukewarm with the condensation completely dripping on the outside like it had sat out for the entire 30 minutes before being brought...hmmmmm sounds just like the drinks we got at dinner. Overall this place isn't worth the effort. At all. Book your stay at the casino down the street for HOT EDIBLE food worth the price you pay. Lesson learned read more

I had no idea this place was out here...it took a while to get here but it was really worth the drive! The grounds were gorgeous and they are set up for a lot of different events. I can't comment on the accommodations as far as lodging but the rooms did look beautiful from the golf course. We were there to play golf. We showed up and everything was well organized. If you sign up for a deal that they have, they will give you an annual discount. We did so and got our green fee for $50 with a cart. For a course of this caliber, that is a steal! We were ushered to the tee box very professionally and proceeded to have a fantastic round of golf. The fairways were nice and wide and the grounds were really, really well kept. My only criticism was the first green on the Oaks course as it was being aerated. Other than that, the greens. Were fast and frankly the best I've ever golfed on. This is a 27 hole course that I plan on coming back to and playing the additional 9 that I didn't get to make it to on this trip. If you golf more than 4 times a year, sign up for the deal and hit this place up. If you only golf once a year, this place is a great destination. While you're at it, stay for dinner and then retire to one of their rooms for the night. I think I might do the same on an upcoming weekend... read more

The front desk service was great. Very friendly staff. The room is big and there is a lot of space. Unfortunately, the place Is outdated. The rug is stained. The tub's paint is chipped. The cabinets are old and scratched. The air conditioner is loud. The water pressure kept changing when someone was using the sink. We can hear the neighbors through the thin walls. The pool is small and unkept during our visit. We found a bra strap on the floor. The hall and stairs were unkept as well. It's a bummer I was really looking forward to our stay and paid the extra money to stay here. read more

Positives: We stayed in a standard room that featured a queen bed, plasma flat screen TV, desk, and a hidden mini fridge. Although the decor in the room is a little outdated, we had a beautiful view of the golf course. I ate lunch at the Temet Grill and enjoyed their fresh roasted tomato bisque soup. Negatives: We stayed on the first floor, and every time the occupants in the room above us walked, we could hear every step. Not only was the toilet very hard to flush, but it was also extremely loud. The heater made a loud clanking noise every time it turned on, so it interrupted our sleep throughout the night. My husband and I came here for an evening wedding reception. I have only good things to say about this location - staff was friendly, courteous, spot on with the water refills. It was quite chilly that evening in late July but there were enough tower heaters to keep the crowd fairly warm. My wife and I stayed at the Temecula Creek Inn on December 30th, 2010 and checked out on January 1st 2011. During our stay, we decided to purchase tickets for the New Year's eve concert and dinner at $85 a piece. Our credit card was charged $170 that evening. At check-out, we were charged for $272.72 for drinks, lunch, resort fees, taxes AND again for the concert. I advised the clerk at the front desk that our concert was already paid for. She advised me that the charge was a hold and that it will be dropped in a few days. Today, I saw that my bank account was charged and the pending charge was never dropped. So I called the Temecula Creek Inn and spoke with Bianca and advised her of the situation. She took my information and placed me on hold. When she returned, I was told that I was being transferred to reservation and that they would take care of my refund. I was transferred to Danny at reservations. Again, I had to repeat my story and was again told that I needed to be transferred to Accounting in order to get my refund. By this time, I've been on the phone for almost 30 minutes. Danny returned and advised me that there is no one available in accounting. I gave Danny my contact information and have yet to hear back from accounting. I am appalled at the lack of organization and the poor billing practices of your resort. For a 4 star resort, as well as years of experience, This is not what I expected from Temecula Creek Inn. My fiancé and I stayed here for a night while we were in Temecula. The resort is pretty nice, has lots of greenery, and many of the rooms overlook the golf course. Unfortunately, we were here while they were renovating the place and as luck would have it, they were working on our building. Nothing says fun and relaxation better than having papers draped all over the floor and stairs and plastic covers all over your door and windows. The hallway also smelled heavily of paint and the worst was when I happened to look through the window and made eye contact with a guy on the roof removing the covers from our window. The room itself seemed pretty nice. We were given a corner room (although one that faced the parking lot...) and although it was spacious, the room space was odd and we had a window with the view of the stairs/hallway outside. Why would you give me a window that looks out over the stairs? Not sure what other views the other rooms in our building get but ours wasn't great. The bathroom was quite small, with only a standing shower which wasn't very good at keeping all the water inside. Bed and bedding were quite nice and comfortable though. Pros: + Nice area + Place seems well kept and nicely decorated + mini fridge and coffee maker in room + Pool area hours from 6am-11pm and it overlooks the golf course Cons: -Construction!! Lady at check in didn't even warn us about the construction. -Hot tub water looked greasy and in need of cleaning Overall, the construction really took away from our stay here. The front desk should have had the courtesy to mention it to us during check-in. On the up side, because we got lost finding our room, a friendly worker on a golf cart drove us back to our building and also offered to carry our bags to our room so +++ for him. Pretty, but older or at least made to look a tad older given the "theme." Room was decently sized, and had a fabulous balcony w/a view of the golf course - the photos I took don't do it justice. It was a great, comfy place to stay for my birthday weekend in the wine country - not too far from tasting and not too far from Pechanga, which for me meant it was just right. It didn't have the bells and whistles of South Coast Resort but it wasn't quite stooping down to no-tell-motel-holliday inn status either. Again, for me, just right. read more

Stayed here from Michigan for a friends wedding on-site. The wedding was beautiful. The wedding gets 5 stars - food, location, etc. amazing. What gets 2 stars is the entire stay. When I made my reservation the price estimate was around $700, which is A TON for me, considering I already paid $500 for a flight. My credit card charge is over $1,000. I've emailed them twice for a bill explanation and I haven't heard back. They're very hard to get ahold of, even after sending polite follow-up emails. The room was outdated (a little crown molding would go a long way), I killed 2 spiders in the bathroom my first night, the lamp was bent, the room cork screw was bent, the drainage for the sink and shower is disgustingly slow. I hated showering there because at the end of 10 minutes you're deep in mid-calf dirty water. A few of our towels had large holes in them. The wifi was so slow and I couldn't get any work done while my boyfriend golfed. The TV is not in HD so all the channels are a little blurry - that is the ones that work. When we arrived one of the bathroom lights was out which I called the front desk on and someone promptly fixed. The breakfast biscuits while you wait for you food are delicious, but not made often enough so the 3 mornings I ate at the hotel restaurant I only got them once. They need more employees in the restaurant! The tables take 30 minutes to bus so everyone ends up sitting at the bar, and with one bartender service is slow. You want to take cute pics on the patio but the tables stay dirty for so long that it's not worth it. You're better off at a chain hotel or motel in Old Town Temecula. More to do and probably nicer. As of 9/21 I've changed my review from 3 to one stars. I sent a billing question 18 DAYS AGO and I still have not heard back, despite multiple follow up emails. DO NOT STAY HERE. read more
