Women are leaving because your facility OVERBOOKS - I was in the wait room 35 min and not one person was called to the back - there were at least 13 people waiting just as long. I was scheduled for an MRI test for my right shoulder on 9/14 (sunday) at 7:30 pm. I was asked questions about my health. Once everything was a "go" they advised me to bring my driver's license, to arrive early at 7pm to fill out paperwork. They stay open late which is very convenient for anyone's busy schedule. Monday through Friday they are open until 10pm, saturday/sunday until 8. The Suite is on the lower level, the two doors were wide open with bright lights, you can see the receptionist desk from afar. Walking in tv was playing, several patients were waiting, pretty calm setting. I check-in with the lady at the front desk who was very friendly, had me fill out paperwork. I didn't wait too long before my name was called. They have a private changing area to change into your gown, really felt secure once I closed the door, and locked it. Although at that time no one was really there but me it's good to know for other patients. Clean gowns are folded, provided inside the room, easily snaps in the back. They also have lockers for valuables, cell phones, etc. you lock it up, keep the key until your finished with testing. I was buckled up before entering the machine, had my right shoulder/arm fastened. I'm told the test will take 25mins, he gives me ear buds, ear phones, asks if I'm cold, need a blanket, I say yes please. He tells me if I need to communicate with him to press down on what was some kind of rubber device . I remain calm while in the machine afterwards change in the locker room, place my gown in the dirty hamper close by, check out with the receptionist. Overall, this was a fast/easy process, completely opposite of what I anticipated. Front desk was professional, she had a great attitude for being so late at night. Results were sent to my provider within several days. I'm thankful it was nothing serious like a rotator cuff tear or having to get surgery. Because of my personal discomfort late at night through the early morning, pains ranging from my shoulders, neck, down to my arm-front/back, to my fingers, muscle spasms. I feel there maybe more to my diagnosis then what was stated, want to get a second opinion. read more

I've had so many terrible experiences with the medical industry so I wanted to give a good review where it was due. The front desk staff, particularly CLAUDIA, was very kind and patient. The waiting room is designed comfortably, which is a gift for those waiting to have imaging done on their injured bodies. Now it is true that they run behind often and I have been waiting 40 minutes for my scan LOL, but I'm not sitting upright in an uncomfortable chair so I can't say I mind the wait that much... My CT scan was on June 22. My appointment with my specialist was on July 9, and the results of the scan were not there. At the office of the specialist, none of the people who had appointments had results from Temecula Valley Imaging, causing a two-hour wait in the doctor office waiting room for appointments, as the doctor had to take the image, study it, and then make the diagnosis. I STILL do not have the results of the reading of the scan from Temecula Valley Imaging on this day, July 10, 2024. Oh, by the way, the bill for this CT scan was promptly sent to my home, and I am considering not paying it. read more

I will say that this year I've gone to this facility many times for MRI's and never had an issue until yesterday. One of my main gripes is that the front office workers don't answer their phones. The only people that answer are the appointment setters, and they aren't even in the actual office. So, my barium swallow test was ordered by my pcp on 3/6/24. The first available date to schedule this exam was on 4/23/24 at 2:50pm. I was called on that date at 11:58am telling me their machine broke down and they asked me to reschedule for 4/26/24 at 11am. I said that was fine. On 4/26/24 I arrived early, at 10am. I was then told by the front office person that their machine was still broken and they have no idea when they would be getting a new one. I asked her why I wasn't called or informed that my appointment wasn't going to happen before driving 31 miles (one way) to get to this appointment. She claimed that the person working yesterday/last night was supposed to have called all the customers to inform us, which obviously didn't happen. I asked for the workers name that was working last night so I could write a formal complaint and she didn't know who was working. She just said to call her supervisor, Sandra, which I did right away, and left a voicemail. I haven't received any call back from this supervisor. I want the person who failed to do their job correctly to be written up. I should have been called or notified via text that my appointment wasn't happening. I took yesterday off work, drove 62 miles (round-trip) for a test I've been waiting a long time for. And now I've been rescheduled once again for this same test for June 25th. The office person said that appointment is tentative, if they have a new machine by then. She even looked at the San Bernardino Imaging place and they had no open availabilities for this type of exam at all. My test was ordered 3/6 and I have to wait til 6/25 for a simple test? This is beyond ridiculous. This office needs a better supervisor and better trained staff. Absolutely Ridiculous and totally unprofessional. read more

Over the past 6 months I have scheduled and rescheduled and rescheduled and, today; for the fourth time received the call that my appointment has, again, been canceled. This is absolutely the worst most unprofessional medical test facility I have ever dealt with. I need to find another test facility for one simple reason, TRUST. If these people cannot manage staffing schedules and appointments, how in the heck can anyone trust them to not mess up the test or results. They need a major adjustment or to just go away. not only do they cancel- usually the day of, they actually issued a report for an exam my wife never had, thus preventing her from having the exam because her prescribing doctor said the insurance would not authorize another test so soon. On the other end of the spectrum, they did not issue a report for an xRay she had and screwed up the dates. Very difficult to speak with management, and we confirmed with one of the techs that the frontline staff lies. They also gave me a report of my wife's results ensuring all of the results were included. They weren't. My understanding is they have been acquiring all of the radiology facilities in the area so we now have to drive 4 hrs round trip to have any scans completed. Waited in line to be checked in 1pm appt. Arrived on time. Girl at the desk finished helping the patient in front of me. I walked up and she said "someone will be with you" She got up and walked away. I stood there 10 min without any help. There were 2 women sitting at desk behind check in. No acknowledgment to line that was forming. I finally tapped the window and asked for help. Woman said someone will be up to help as she was helping patient. All she had to so was call for backup. The original registrar came back up. I have been a manager for Admitting/registration for 15 years. I know a disinterested crew when I see one. They sadly had no want to help patients. Customer service and first impressions is what makes patients continue to return to medical centers. Patients are nervous and uneasy when arriving for tests. Why not make them feel calm and at ease? The other radiology center we went to had far greater customer service skills than this office. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would!!! My daughter needs MRI before her brain surgery which thankfully will take place at UCLA but we were trying to get the required extended MRI imaging locally, what a mistake!! No one knew what they were doing. Cancelled first appointment because they didn't have approval from insurance after 2 weeks of trying. We were ok with that. We understand delays can happen. MRI was rescheduled for 2 weeks later. Now this excuse of a company tells us 2 days before her appointment that they don't have notes they need from the Doctor. Next day we get another request for us to call them and this time they tell us that they don't have the referral for MRI which was sent with original appointment. Oh and when you call after they request you call, no one has any idea whatsoever of what the hell is going on!! Spoke to a "manager" who did nothing to help! No one knows what is going on. It was rediculous that something this important can be so insignificant to them! I think they might source out their calls to a call center. If they do what a folish thing!! Called facility to fix an issue with ordered procedures and was hung up on initially. Called back and they transferred me to number down in the country of Mexico. Called back to speak to a supervisor and was advised they would email the supervisor and I'd receive a call back within 24 hours. 96 hours later and still no contact from their supervisor. They finally called me today and told me the clinic canceled the fluoroscopic exam and was waiting again from the doctor to confirm what was in the doctor's orders. They eventually had to reschedule due to their mess up. Funny thing is this is being coordinated via an attorney office and I had to escalate this matter to them in order to get them to fix it. They may or may not be good at doing the procedures, but they are bad at communication and follow through. read more

Was told I had a 12:30 appt, and to report an hour early to prep. I assumed it was to drink the stuff I usually have to drink before a CT scan. I got there at 11:10, signed in and waited, and waited, and waited. At 12:20, I checked at the desk and they said my appt was at 1pm. They said it would be another 15 min. When the called my first name, two of us walked up. They took the other 'Edward' first. I finally got in and was told I didn't have to drink anything. I was just getting the dye intravenously. The tech was nice and told me if I had the same test again, I just needed to be there 20 min ahead of time. Clearly the right hand not talking to the left. I have had good experiences at the DePortola location and some not so good. What I discovered was this -- which will explain why so many people on this thread have been less than satisfied with the way they have been treated at this facility. I have had numerous appts. (at least 20 appts.) at this facility over the past 5 years) and I finally figured out what the problem is after two recent visits. I have used this facility for my mammograms and breast ultrasound procedures on at least 7-10 occasions during the past 5 years, and I have had several other ultrasound procedures, X-Rays and bone-density tests. The problem boils down to GREED and a LACK OF CONSIDERATION AND RESPECT for the patients who come here. No. 1 -- They purposely overbook the number of available appointments, if they are able to, in order to cover people who may be "no-shows" or who have had to cancel their appointments -- and in order to make sure they are going to pull in as much money as possible, on any given day. No. 2 -- Because they always overbook, whenever they are able to, on every single occasion when I have used this facility, I have always had to wait anywhere from 30 - 50 minutes for my mammograms and/or ultrasound procedures AFTER I have spent time pre-registering on-line in advance of my appointments AND/or I have spent another half-hour completing their burdensome and often completely unnecessary paperwork (which is mostly related to them making sure they are going to get paid by SOMEONE and absolving the business from as much liability as is legally allowed); and I have checked-in and changed into the required "hospital gown". I might not mind waiting, as I always bring something to read, or have my iPhone with me . . . EXCEPT . . . what really aggravates me is this -- on a few occasions when I have been from 5 to 15 minutes late for my appointment, they have refused to proceed with my scheduled exams and have forced me to re-schedule. I have argued with the staff members in the reception area that it is both unnecessary and unfair to force me to re-schedule since every single time that I have been on-time, I was required to wait from 30-50 minutes once I was checked in and changed, before my procedures were even started. Finally, when this happened to me twice in the past 3 months, I realized that their overbooking was done purposely, as a matter of policy, and IF they have the flimsiest excuse to force patients to re-schedule, they will. It is all about the money and about convenience for their professional staff. There is little to NO CONCERN whatsoever for the patients/customers. I am a 72- year old woman with many disabilities which make it difficult for me to get ready for my appointments and then to drive 30-40 minutes to get to their facility. No personal consideration is given to the circumstances affecting the patients. If they are overbooked (which 90% of the time they appear to be), they will refuse to perform the services which you scheduled because they have enough "customers" for the day and they do not care about inconveniencing "any overflow" patients -- even if a person is only 5 minutes late. It's all about the money and their convenience. I actually feel sorry for the women who work at the reception desk, checking-in patients, b/c those women are not responsible for the over-booking policy, but they have to tell the patients they will be required to re-schedule their appointments; and they have to "bear the brunt" of the hostility and anger from patients who are unfairly turned away and are forced to re-schedule. I hope that someone in "Management" will take the time to read the many bad reviews posted on this thread, and consider adopting policies and procedures which will show a small degree of consideration for the personal circumstances of the people they are turning away! read more

I had a mammogram that went very well, but my MRI was a total different experience. I work in healthcare and deal with this company a lot!! So I had an app for brain MRI with and without contrast, which they got me in pretty quick, I did not want the contrast so I figure I just tell them there, when u fill out their patient paperwork u can decline the contrast. Well at my app I couldn't decline it otherwise they would have to reschedule and get a new order. Which is bull because they always override stuff. I know for a fact. So I said ok ill take contrast, why even have that decline option in ur paperwork. I waited two hours to be called back, and in the back it took 1 hour and 3 people to poke my veins...9 times they poked me and got nothing. My veins r so easy and I never have issues with that. So of course I get rescheduled 3 hours later. And they couldn't do it without contrast, which I know they can. They can say "patient unable to tolerate contrast, only mri without was done" I see it on all the patients I deal with on thir pelvic ultrasounds and mammogram. Anyways my reschedule app went well. But now I see results may take weeks..smh read more

I had an appt yesterday 1/19 at 1 pm. I got there at 12:45. Checked in at 12:50 via virtual check-in. Long story short, they told me I have to set up another appt bc I was late. Showed them what time I checked in & where it says they will text me back when it was time to come in. NEVER HAPPENED. That is when I decided to go to the front desk. They kept insisting I was late even though I had proof on my phone. The whole time I was there, I have seen so many patients with appointments leaving upset. They lied to me! When I called for an appointment, they said I would have to fast for 6 hours before the procedure to be performed. When I got there for my appointment, they said I should have fasted for 8 hours! Needless to say, that did not make me happy. I had to wait the extra time before they would perform the procedure. Obviously, the person who lied to me when I called for the appointment, should be fired for not giving me the correct information. I was getting an ultrasound for a spot on my kidney and the nurse told me to stop looking at the screen because it was distracting her she said if there is something I need to see she will show me when she's done. I had an appointment for an MRI at 2:40. At 3:10 I inquired about how much longer it would take, because the front desk had indicated that they were running in time today. When I was finally called back, the technician was rude and brusk. No acknowledgment of running well behind schedule just a cranky technician who made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I inquired about the delay, and she said that my time slot had been double booked. So I asked why wasn't the front desk informed of the delay, so that they could prep patients upon checking in. Fact....this place takes 7 to 10 working days to have and MRI read....ever since they merged....it is NOT 2 to 5 working days as they tell you ! I spoke with Adda today in appointments....I expressed my concern...that because of my pain I might have moved during the procedure...and they told me it may have to be redone.... and that if I had to wait 7 to 10 working days twice it could potentially take 1 month to have my 2nd one read. After she was on No help....I asked her to have a manger call me.. it has been over an hour now since I called...no call back....All I want to do is have it read asap because of the possible redo....they can't help me....I am on 5 different pain meds from a ER visit 4 days ago....I am in Extreme Pain....No one wants to help speed this up....and no one can even call back....I will be exploring my options if I have to redo it...This is UNACCEPTA LE read more

Do not go here for any imaging exam! I went for a screening mammogram. I was given a waiver to sign that Medicare and most, but not all insurance paid for the breast tomogam imaging. I signed it, but before going back with the technologist, I asked her to confirm that my insurance was verified for the procedure. I saw her ask the insurance person who nodded and said, yes, it is covered. I would NOT have consented to an exam that my insurance did not cover. I spent a career in medical imaging, I did breast imaging for many years. I knew I did not require special imaging for my breasts, but if my insurance would cover it, I would have it done. Next came the insurance denial and a $250 bill! After NUMEROUS calls to the billing outfit over 6 months, the bill was reduced to a cash price of $79. This is unacceptable. I cannot get William the office manager to return my call. I did my due diligence by asking if my insurance was verified BEFORE the procedure an was assured it was. This office is responsible for relaying erroneous information to me. If you need further evidence why you should not go to this office, keep reading. At my previous mammogram, following the imaging and review by the radiologist, the technologist said the doctor wanted me to return in 6 months. She said the doctor wanted to review a particular area. Next thing I know, I receive a letter stating that my mammogram is normal and to return in a year. I called the office to inquire: Is there something the radiologist wanted to monitor? Or was my exam normal? I was told it was normal. But, how could I trust this report after being told in person after the radiologist's review to followup in 6 months? Keep reading... The same day as that previous mammogram, I had a DEXA scan in the downstairs office. My DOCTOR NEVER RECEIVED A REPORT! I went to the office to get the report and take it to my doctor. I was told I never had the exam!!! That I was not in their system. I recalled interactions I had with the staff and insisted that I did indeed have a DEXA scan there. I had the date in my calendar. After arguing with me that I was never seen there, I told them to ask the DEX technologist. I did DEXA exams myself for three years and know that completed exams are stored in the equipment computer. Someone finally ask the DEXA technologist to look for the exam, and of course I had it done!!!!! It was in the DEXA system, but it was NEVER READ!!! I went here to get my HSG done because I have Essure and they needed to check the coils. I was terrified... so many people say it's torture- horrendous, worse than labor and "like death". I mean I have read sooooo many accounts that say this. I made sure to take Tylenol and ibuprofen- alternated like I would my child, and went in. Lela and her staff were amazing. They were so caring and reassuring and they tried really hard to make me comfortable. It was surprisingly painless. Thank you!!! read more

Had to do CT scan today. So I looked up this place today and I saw bunch of negative reviews here. Not sure what their problem was, but my experience was excellent! I can't complain at all. Front desk staff was kind and friendly. Even though I arrived an hour plus early, they got me in before my appointment time. Technician (I think Victor) did a great job finding my hard to find vein, on the first try, and proceeded with it. Talked me all the way through, friendly and caring ( some guy humor too). I was in and out in no time. The actual registration service they use ( I am sure it's outsourced) is something that needs improving, but you can't blame them for it. The technicians here act like they have more important things to do and just want to churn you out of there as quickly as possible. Don't expect any kind of bedside manner and if you ask even basic procedural questions they'll just be annoyed. Front office people are nice enough. This applies to all of the offices of Temecula Valley Advanced Imaging and specifically to the office at Golden Triangle. In past many years I have had multiple radiology procedures and never has the entire process been so mixed up and resulted in way too much of my time and angst. I was scheduled (no easy feat with this organization since they have multiple offices and schedule different tests at different locations and don't make sure that their staff has the correct information.). Once I got to the right office (no instructions were given and there is another of their offices on the same street!) the actual procedure went fine. After that, it took over a week for my doctor to get a report, and then he asked for an addendum to that procedure comparing 2 previous procedures. Once we got the CD's to the radiology office, the front office employees tried to download them, however the manager, Connie, was there and took them & said she would personally download them on her computer directly to the doctor. After 2-3 weeks when no additional reports were received by my doctor, both his office staff and myself contacted Connie who promised to see what happened and return call. She did not and again, another 2 weeks passed. I called her again several times, left messages and she never called back. An addendum report was posted on my portal during that time, however for only one of the previous tests. The other one, apparently.....is lost forever. At this point, I have had enough and perhaps with yet another negative review, this organization will get their act together. I previously managed a medical office for over 20 years and this is NOT the way it is supposed to be done. read more

Went today for a ultrasound at 3pm waited over an hour than they called me to say I had to come back tomorrow or another day as they could not get me I today as they were backed up and could have stay overtime to get the test done. Another lady about 15 minutes before calling me up told her the same thing. They are double booking appointments so when everyone shows up they can't get everyone in to do their test before they leave at 5pm. They don't care they waste your time they should have told me from the start or at least when they told the other patient they could not see me back no she waited another 15 more minutes behind they told me. After my test tomorrow I'll never go back there I'll find another place for mammogram or ultrasound or X-rays. They are a awful company. Also twice in The last few months my doctor put in referral sane day called 3 days they don't have referral had to call my doctor again to put thru the referral again she told me this is a constant issue and she has addressed this with their manager and nothing has changed. I wish I could give them ZERO stars. I've hand nothing but trouble since I started going to Temecula Valley Imaging. They are always behind schedule which ironic because they want you to get there 20 minutes before your appointment time. They staff and techs are beyond worthless and rude and none of them seem to know how to do their jobs, I don't know how they're still in business. Unfortunately they have bought out the other imaging companies in the area so you really have no option. Not only are they always behind but the tech are complete idiots. They don't seem to understand the difference between magnetic and non magnetic metals, what can and can not be worn and that a bigger magnet doesn't make non magnetic metals magnetic. I'm the past two years I've had probably 10 mri's (maybe more) and every time the rules are different. I went in today for my appointment and was told all of a sudden I can't wear my pain patch. I've had at least 6-8 mri's with it on and had no problems but all of a sudden today it was. I did google it and SOME transdermal patches should be removed however the one I use doesn't. In previous appointments I've been denied an mri because I have copper in my hair which is not magnetic, I tried to explain I've had several mri's with no problem. They said "it's a bigger magnet", ok but copper is still not a magnetic material and a bigger magnet doesn't change that. At that appointment my mri was booked as the last appointment of the night and it was actually 2 mri's. They were already running at least 30 minutes behind and closed in 20 minute, I really believe they just wanted to go home. Every appointment is a fiasco and waste of time. I also had mri's of both of my hips and pelvis which showed several problems but two weeks later they did a full body scan and found nothing wrong. Not the cysts in my uterus, the tears in my labrum's, or muscle tears. When I was having the full body scan done the tech asked me "do you have upper back problems?" I said yeah all the time. The radiology repost showed nothing. I asked to have the scan reviewed by a different radiologist and they refused. If you are referred to ANY Temecula valley imaging ask your doctor to refer you somewhere else and save yourself the trouble because they are nothing but a nightmare. read more
