This is our 3rd time here. The first time we sat for an hour and a half and went to the front desk to be told they forgot about us. Second time no issues third time they did the test in record time and saved it to the wrong persons file. We had to go back in to do the entire process over again... Not impressed at all! read more

Had open MRI with Valium. The tech was very personable and knew I was claustrophobic. He was very understanding and explained the procedure as he went along. I may need another MRI and he showed me how that would be done. It would be great to have him do the MRI if needed. I must say I did good and was not nervous at all. II was originally scheduled with Temecula Valley Imaging and they cancelled me twice on the days of the appointment. Poor customer service. So I'm so happy I was able to get this done with them in a timely manner with no issues. read more

First off place is very hard to fine there are trees completely covering up the place , and the signage,walk up to the front desk the lady is wearing jeans flannel shirt no make up zits completely sticking out looks like she just rolled out of bed very unprofessional. Horrible service!! I have had a couple of tests done at this facility in the last few months. I spent many a lunch hour trying to connect only to be put on hold for as long as 20 minutes. Sometimes I would hang up and call back and someone would answer and say how can I help you so after about 4 times of this I asked the girl is this a joke you put me on hold and I callback and ask me how you can help me. Spoke with Arlene regarding ICT with contrast and she said because I had a reaction 20 years ago that she would need to talk to the radiologist. She told me to call back the following week. I know in my line of work I would have offered to call the customer back. I believe the phrase is good customer service. So I call back on my lunch hour again and Arlene answers the phone and says how can I help you, and I said I spoke with you last week and you were going to talk to the radiologist and she then began to say that she was with another customer and she would call me right back. Well my question is Arlene why didn't you say that when you 1st picked up the phone you were busy and could you call me back but no you said that after I told you what I needed. She called me Hun which is super condescending. I'm assuming they don't need my business and I will go elsewhere. Just thought I should warn other people out there they are not worth the aggravation or time wasted. I went for my second, of three, MRIs this afternoon. Due to claustrophobia I require an open MRI, and even with that it is hard to get through a full MRI. I got the same technician as last time. This young man seems to really understand the stress, panic and anxiety I feel. This MRI, for the brain, required I wear a mask/cage type contraption so my head wouldn't move. I started to panic after a few scans, but once the technician turned the air conditioning lower, he sat next to meet and talked so I wasn't alone. It was very calming, and he is a very interesting young man come to find out. It was like having one of my sons there with me. The ladies at the front desk have been very nice, professional, and helpful, on the phone and in person. The office is very clean and quiet. The decor is very soothing. There is handicap parking right in front of the entrance. The office is downstairs. There is a convenient bathroom when you enter the building and a very roomy, clean bathroom in the office. read more

My Dr. Called in my referral for a brain MRI and told me the imaging office would call and set up an appointment within 2-3 days. I waited 2 days and called for an appointment myself. The gal that answered the phone was courteous, found my referral and set up my MRI. When my husband and I arrived, we were properly greeted, asked to fill out paperwork and make our payment. While you probably won't ever have a need to visit Health Scan Imaging, I'm writing this to reinforce the very shaky notion that there is quality medical care out there to be had. OMG! Too much errors! The first appointment, I had to come back because I was told to fast and nothing to drink. Turns out my bladder should be full. So I rescheduled and you would think second time around is a charm. Nope. My bladder is full and I had to wait an hour longer because the system shows my appointment wasn't until a later time and I had to sit for over an hour holding myself. Front desk apologizes again but my bladder doesn't understand nor can it accept the apology. I had to pee so bad I had chicken skins from head to toe for holding it.It's a good thing I had them give me a written appointment card for the 2nd appointment made and showed I was right! UGH!!! We arrived at 1 pm for an X-ray. The form states walk in only. Signed in and were told to take a seat. As we waited 40 minutes, I listened to conversations about lunch and one guy ask all his co workers about the chicken curry that was in the refrigerator. Another client came in for an X-ray and was given paper work to fill out. So my husband went back to the counter. They didn't look at the sign in board nor did it seem to phase them we were sitting in the seat directly in front of the counter with out being assisted. It's now 1:51pm. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE PLEASE. Called and made appointment for Neck/thyroid ultrasound. Go to my appointment and am told they are two procedures but they only booked me for one. Based on my symptoms tech said the neck ultrasound seemed more relevant but was ready to do my thyroid and reschedule the neck? Why put off the most relevant test? Come back the next week and sitting in the office I hear the receptionist on the phone with a Dr's office describing the exact same neck/thyroid miscommunication that happened to me. I know she wasn't talking about me because I heard the patients name, DOB, and requested procedures from across the room. HIPAA anybody? So I ask the tech if she was sure my doctor was requesting 2 different procedures or if it was a coding issue. She tells me not to worry about because my insurance would cover it anyway? But that no they had not contacted MY doctor to confirm just that poor guy who had his information told to a room full of people. No thank you. read more

Ask your doctor for an alternative. The waiting area looks like Disneyland...meaning they spent a lot of money...meaning their prices are high. The indignity of having snarky little girls ignore you when you enter, then act like brats when you're worried about having a serious illness isn't my idea of professionalism or quality. Not all the front desk help was this way, but one is enough to set the whole tone. Then without asking permission or informing you, they switch out an experienced tech with a student. If I hadn't asked what the switch was about, I would have had a student doing my ultrasound and paid the price for an experienced technician. It seems to be deceptive practice. Ask first, rather than just switching and not saying a word. Why should my insurer and I pay for a less or non-experienced tech? The experienced tech was very professional and courteous. I wouldn't be able to judge about the quality of their work. But the over-the-top waiting room (I'd rather pay lower prices - just guarantee cleanliness and comfort) and the unprofessional and smarmy reception leave you wondering about the excesses in this country's medical industry. I get the strong sense that this is the kind of medical office that will hunt you down and try to ruin your credit if you don't pay any co-pays immediately...must pay for the fish tank and the fake indoor tree! read more

I have been waiting 8 days now to get in for an MRI. Every time I call they say they are waiting for approval from my insurance. I have PPO and I called my insurance and they said it only takes a few minutes for an approval. Every person I have talked to in that office has given me a different excuse on why they can't schedule me. Each time blaming the insurance. They have not been truthful with their responses on why they can't scheduled my MRI. I will be taking my business somewhere else. read more

Had been to the Murrieta office the day before at 3:45. They are open until 6:00 but stop doing x-Rays at 3:30. They told me I could go to the Temecula office in the morning. Drove down to Temecula first thing in the morning. Told receptionist I was referred from Murrieta. She asked me for ID and insurance card. She then says " we don't take THAT insurance".I told her I have been seen in the Murrieta office 3 times. She told me they don't know what they are doing and they aren't going to get paid! Called to schedule a MRI and Nicky at the front desk went out of her way to contact my doctor's office for the referral. She called me back within 30 minutes to tell me that everything was in order and made an appointment for 6 pm the same day. When I arrived the receptionist at the front desk was courteous and professional and the techs were personable and efficient. I was in and out within an hour. Couldn't ask for more. read more

So first off I'd like to say very clean and nice office. I'm sure the doctors are very competent and good at what they do or I guess you would call them x-ray techs. But.... The customer service of this office is really not up to par. Long story short, I went for a MRI of my knee. I went back to get a CD that was supposed to be ready for me and it was not. I was told they would get that for me shortly I sat on the couch for 20 minutes patiently and noticed the girl went out look like she was going to lunch. I spoke to another girl about the CD and she told me it would just be a minute I waited another 15 to 20 minutes before asking them what was going on which then she said sorry I will get that for you. She handed it to me. Then fast forward to today my mom called her office with a CT scan referral at 6:30 in the morning when they opened she was put on hold for 20 minutes. She called back and was put on hold again for another 20 minutes. I then use my phone to call while she was on hold and was told that they would call her back. Never was called back so I called back again and started to set the appointment. Was not told sorry I didn't call you back or anything along those lines. And then was told that she needed bloodwork for a CT scan that she was going to get which was not given by my moms Physician. I then told him how disappointed I was with the service that they have given which she then said what is that. Then I had to explain to her that it makes no sense to put somebody on hold for 20 minutes at the doctors office you could just pick up the phone and say we are very busy and call them back. They do not do that there they put you on hold and do not answer the phone again. Very very poor customer service. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE! Go to Temecula Valley Advanced Imaging. This place is awful. I honestly don't have enough words to express how disappointing their customer service was. From attempting to schedule an appointment and being put on hold for 20 mins (because an angry customer came in. This should have been a sign), to having 2 separate appointments scheduled only to find out I only needed one - when I read word by word what my doctor had requested and for some reason she made me come in twice? Then they give incorrect information for the preparation and I was unable to get my ultrasound. I schedule yet another appointment (THIRD one). I get there and they schedule it for another office, not the one I had previously called for. Seriously, I have never in my entire life had such awful service. Thank goodness there are other wonderful local imaging centers like Temecula Valley Advanced Imaging where they know how to schedule appointments and give clear instructions. They have awful management and employees here, save yourself some stress and DON'T COME HERE! Take your doctors recommendation somewhere else. read more

I called a week in advance to get an appointment to do a CT scan on my chest and abdomen.. they made the appointment on Tuesday at 1:45pm.. I came in on Monday to get the contrast I had to take before my scan.. Tuesday morning I took the contrast at the times I was supposed to, cane in the office for my appointment... they said.. your appointment is tomorrow!! I know that's not what I was told on the phone when I made the appointment.. the woman on the phone when I made the appointment said Tuesday the 18th at least 3 times.. and before I hung up I verified 1 more time.. Tuesday the 18th at 1:45? She said yes..i know i didn't make it for Wednesday because it's impossible for me to take a Wednesday off of work because we have promotional events at work and can't take it off.. if she told me Wednesday on the phone, i would have told her i couldn't do it that day.. now I'm sitting here on Tuesday on the day i wad told on the phone to be here, at the time I was told to be here and they ate telling me I have to wait for an opening and they don't know how long it will be!! ABSOLUTE RUDEST reception girls ever. After having an ultrasound there done today for a possible blood clot I asked the girl when the results would be faxed to my doctor. She says... 3-5 days... didn't even ask who or what I was seen for. Once I told her it was for a possible DVT, she told me by the end of the day. Its now 4:15pm and I called to double check when they closed to make sure I didn't get forgotten about... the girl RUDELY said Sarah already told you they would be to your doctors office by 6pm. These girls don't give to sh*ts about the patients that are seen. The ultrasound tech was awesome, and the office was beautiful. The management in this place will be hearing from me. read more

I walked in at 340 for my appointment for a pelvic ultrasound. They instruct you to drink 32oz of water one hour prior to you're appointment and you must hold it until after you're procedure. 4pm came around and there was no way I could hold it any longer. And definitely didn't want to have to reschedule. I walked up to the front and let one of the reception girls know my hurry and she ran back and got the ultra sound tech. I was called almost immediately. I am so glad they could accommodate. It's not easy holding in 32oz of water for over and 15 minutes. read more

We were new residents in Temecula, and my husband went to Ouch Medical Center hoping to find a good doctor that he could go to on a regular basis. He had some ongoing pain from a pulled muscle and he wanted that checked out. He was referred to three doctors from the primary care physician at Ouch. He was told he needed a CT for the pulled muscle. He asked if his insurance would cover it and was told YES, it is completely covered. He went to HEALTH SCAN IMAGING and asked the same thing of Dr. Kelly and his staff, he was assured the procedure would be covered. Low and behold, three months later a co-pay of $400 was billed to us. We have been fighting this for two years now with Ouch, Dr. Kelly, HEALTH SCAN IMAGING and their collection company. What a joke! I'm sure this happens all the time to Ouch as well as HEALTH SCAN IMAGING patients. You are covered and then SURPRISE you aren't, we were told, now pay up or we will turn you in to our collections agency. He will never return to Ouch Medical or to any of their partners in deception. It's a scam to make money for their group and patients are the pawns in their game. I wouldn't recommend Ouch or Health Scan Imaging to my worst enemy. How do you think they pay for their big aquariums and fancy office? Your money, don't be fooled! read more

I was referred to this agency from my PCM. They were rude and refused care, stating that a referral from my doctor wasn't satisfactory to preform the procedure. What they demanded was a written doctors order . When I asked them to look into this they were huffy and put out and refused to help. Don't go there. From someone in the healthcare industry I can honestly say that these people are uncompassionate, rude and have no idea what they are doing. My son needed an MRI stat and after not hearing from them for 3 days I finally called. They told me if was our insurance that had not preauthorized the MRI yet which was a complete lie I learned after calling the insurance. Long story short, after another 2 days I still haven't heard back. Per our dr's advise I called Temecula Valley Imaging and they got him in the very next day. Wow what a difference to deal with them. This Place was awful. It was full of mean and rude receptionist who just do not care for anyone. When I got there for my Ultra Sound, after making an appointment 2 weeks in advance by a referral from my OBGYN they said they did not take my insurance. They had me wait 35 minutes after my appointment time till they finally got the clear that they actually did accept my insurance. Then I went in to have my 20 week ultra sound super excited to see my baby girl. They would not let my husband in or my mother. I was told to lay on a bed facing away from the ultra sound screen so I could not see the baby at all for over an hour. The Ultra Sound doctor said she did not believe in entertainment. Whats so wrong with me wanting to see my baby? 20 week ultra sounds are supposed to be special and my husband and I had been waiting for this for a long time. Finally she allows my mom and husband to come in they get to see the baby for 2 minutes then she says I am done. She did not allow me to see her at all! She then tells me to go wait in the waiting the waiting room for some print outs. We waited 25 minutes before she came out and said "never mind we do not do print outs anymore. Ill make you disk come back in a couple days. Actually come back next week. Actually come back after you next Drs. Appointment in 2weeks." Go somewhere else please! I wish I did! They ruined what was supposed to be a special time during pregnancy. read more

Instead of hanging Christmas lights in their jungle-themed office, they would be better served to bone up on customer service practices. I called to find out the procedure for having x-rays taken. I was told that Xrays are done on a walk-in basis only, and I was provided the hours (8 am until 4:30 Mon-Fri). I happened to have some time on Wednesday morning past, after finishing with another appointment. I walked in and was told that the X-ray tech had called in sick. The other tech would not be able to fit me in due to his waiting appointments. I was assured that if I got to the office any other day before 4:00 p.m, I could be seen. Today, I rushed out of work so that I could get there before 4 pm. I walked in at 3:50 pm and was told that they were no longer taking anyone because there was already an hour wait. While the silk jungle decor is fairly thick, I could see only one person in the waiting room. The worst thing about this experience is that the receptionist (one who spends a lot of time on her eyeshadow application - I mention this only to identify her) was smug in her response. She seemed almost to find joy in my frustration. I strongly suspect that the staff was anxious to get to happy hour and created this hour wait in order to meet this goal. I will not be using this jungle for any further medical needs. read more
