My favorite band advertised they would be playing here on a Sunday night so I chose to go. All the information I had pertaining to venue I received from them and reviews on Yelp. Website completely lacking of information - no menu information, no posted concert schedule. I liked the option for "pub style seating" since I went alone but did not want to sit at the bar. I ordered the chicken taquitos which were good. I also ordered a whiskey flight and water. The waitress was exceptional. Checked back frequently. When staff changed I ordered another flight (and shared with someone at the table). I personally like an intimate setting for a band and had no issue seeing them while seated. They squeezed into a very small area so there was room for plenty of people to be dancing. During the band's break the owner asked if I wanted anything else. I requested more water (no ice with lemon). She returned with a small bottle (500 ml), and a cup of ice with an orange slice and charged $4.20! Okay I'm giving this place five stars merely for their decor inside. I felt like I took a trip to Cabo San Lucas. Came in on a Sunday night about 8:45 p.m., to meet a co-worker for cocktails and was greeted by William, the bartender who was very kind. He immediately informed us that the kitchen was closed, which was okay by us since we were there for drinks. They had some cool dancing Mexican music playing, not too loud, not too low; and they do have a lil dance area by the way. The place was dead; probably because it was a 3-day weekend and everyone was gone out of town. William told us they have a buffet on Sundays with a Mariachi band that plays from 11:00 - 1:00 (or 2:00, unsure). They also have a ring light camera that you can take selfies with and send them directly to your phone via text. So of course we took a couple of pictures, hehehehe. The "only" thing I didn't like was the restaurant's floor was sticky, even in the bathroom. Probably from everyone spilling their delicious drinks all over the floor on Friday & Saturday nights, hehehehe. Hopefully, they resolve that issue on Mon & Tues when they're closed. A friend and I decided to give this place a try for our GNO. The music was okay, but the place definitely has an older crowd and was pretty dead. The food was not bad, but nothing to write home about. The service is where we had some issues. The server was friendly and attentive, but when she came to inform us she was going in break she asked us to pay the check. We informed her that we weren't done and still wanted to order more so couldn't the person covering for her just take over. She said no because that server "didn't want the responsibility. Of what, continuing to serve us or making sure we didn't dine and dash? We paid and were still there when she came back from break. At that time she came to refill our water and told us she should be charging us for it because of the time? I have never in my life have a restaurant I have been eating dinner at suddenly say they are going to charge me for water because of the time. 5 stars for the vibe! Really cool decor and artwork throughout. Was there on a Thursday around 6:00. Really good happy hour menu and drink specials. Their margaritas as delish! Tried the two pork belly appetizers. The roll was okay, but the pops were better. Two dipping sauces were yum! I guess it matter what you're in the mood for. They have music and videos playing until live music started at 7:00. There's was only one server so it took a bit to get service or anything you needed once you had your order. I hope they have more help on weekends. I'll definitely be back just because the place is so cool and just fun to be at. I attended a baby shower in the private room available. the private space is good for a baby shower or small work event. we had an awesome host to ourselves, Lilly. she was so great, she provided awesome service. bottomless mimosa options for 90 mins, coffee, soda, and water refreshed by our host. we hit up the all you can eat brunch bar. the food is ok. omelette bar available along with Mexican dishes and randomly a few asian options.
