The restaurant is definitely Instagram-worthy, with a cute aesthetic and plenty of spots to snap pictures. We visited after a graduation, and they were very accommodating with our large group. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the high reviews for me. I ordered the habanero short ribs, which were just decent. Some pieces were fatty, others were tough, and there was a sweeter flavor than I expected. My husband's fajitas were also just okay and seemed borderline overcooked. I also got the sense they may have been understaffed, because it took a very long time for our food to come out. The biggest misses for me were the extremely watery salsa and hard, flavorless chips. To end on a high note, the drinks were very good, and I would definitely recommend stopping in for cocktails.

Tequila 45 was just okay. The restaurant is definitely Instagram-able. They did a great job with the decor & lighting inside. My husband and I walked in and was able to grab a seat at the bar. The reason i'm giving them 3 stars is because of the service. The food took extremely long to come out. The bartender/waitress barely checked on us. We actually liked the food & drinks, but we felt like an afterthought. I didn't really feel a warm welcome dining here. It's a nice spot, but we probably wouldn't return.

Was in Houston for a day and stumbled upon this establishment. When you walk in the place it has very festive ambiance with trendy areas in the restaurant to take pics for social media. The service is friendly and fast while paying attention to the table. I ordered the chicken fajitas with double beans. The food was really good. Cooked perfect with good taste. When/if back in town, I will be coming back.

I don't think it was my imagination -- this was easily some of the best (if not THE best) Mexican food I've had in my life. The tortillas were 2-die-4..........so fluffy. The chicken and beef fajitas were perfection. The service was TOP NOTCH. Always making sure I was taken care of. Tortilla chips and salsas -- SO good. Nice kick -- both the green and orange. I have nothing more to add other than this place rocks! Two big thumbs up. A must visit if you're near Hobby. Can't wait to try again. (Better than Pappacitos if I must say!)

A Must-Visit Dining Experience in Houston! One of the greatest things about this restaurant is... well, everything! Let's start with what we all come for -- the food. From the lamb to the fish, and even the salsa served with the chips -- every bite was incredible. The flavors were bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The drinks? Fantastic. Honestly, I'd recommend ordering a little bit of everything just to experience how consistently amazing this place is across the board. Service That Sets the Standard The service here is outstanding. I've been twice now, and both times the team has impressed me. The manager personally came by our table to check in -- not just out of obligation, but out of genuine care. You don't have to go searching for a manager here; they're already out front making sure your experience is top-notch. That kind of proactive hospitality is rare and deserves major praise. Decor, Ambiance & Photo-Ready Vibes The decor is fabulous -- stylish, vibrant, and full of character. It's the perfect backdrop for selfies or those who live for the 'gram. As an amateur photographer, I'll admit I was tempted to turn the whole place into a photo shoot. Every corner has charm and energy that complements the dining experience beautifully. The Atmosphere: Day or Night, It Works During the day, the atmosphere is family- and friend-friendly -- great for brunch or a laid-back meal. But come evening, it transforms into one of Houston's go-to spots for a night out. Its proximity to nearby hotels makes it a convenient and inviting option for travelers looking for great food, good drinks, and a lively yet welcoming vibe. If I ever have a long layover in Houston, this will be my first stop. The combination of food, service, and atmosphere makes it one of those rare places you keep thinking about long after you've left. Trust me -- this spot is a must.

Decided to check out the closest restaurant to our hotel and it didn't disappoint. Staff was friendly from the door. It was a busy Saturday night but we found seats at the bar. Close enough to hear the live band but far enough away so we could have a conversation. Drinks were tasty. Food hit the spot. There was a lot of cheese which I didn't mind but my sister could've done with a little less.

I came by for lunch recently. Very cute and clean restuarant. Staff was nice upon entry. Vanessa took care of me. I ordered the chicken fluatas. They were good came with Mexican rice and beans. Beans had a smokiness to them which were nice. I do wish the salsa was not so thin, but everyone's style is different. I did notice they have happy hour from 1-6 so if you are flying in to Hobby airport awaiting hotel or Airbnb check in I suggest stopping by. Prices and offerings were good. They had a $6 Mangonada with my name on it, but unfortunately I was working. Will definitely drop by if in the area.

Can't speak more highly of this place. We just flew in and were staying at the Springhill next door. We had a long day and wanted some beers and food. They told us the kitchen was closed but we were able to order beers. As we were drinking our beers they accommodated us and let us order food to go. Just amazing and above and beyond service! We ordered some tacos and there were delicious! I didn't get the names of the ladies serving us, but they were fantastic! Highly recommend!

Tequila 45 was not all at what I expected. Inside is very fancy, but family friendly. The staff are very accommodating. There's lots of space inside, so it's ideal for big gatherings. For those who love to drink (not me), like their name suggests, Tequila 45 has a full bar and a vast selection of wine and margaritas. Their food was the best Mexican cuisine I've ever had. I can tell they use great quality ingredients in their dishes. Their tortillas are served steaming hot from the oven! Tequila 45 really stands out with some of their unusual menu items like Alfredo pasta, burgers, mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, Creme Brulé, puddings, pork chops, Pineapple Sunshine (basically Pineapple upside down cake), and Cinnamon Butter Cake. I personally liked that you can choose what rice you want, instead of just having only Spanish rice. Tequila 45 does have a lunch special and they even serve breakfast! They're open every day and yes, they take reservations. Downsides: Our waitress took a long time getting our orders, and they weren't even busy! Everything on their menu is expensive. Even the prices on their appetizers and desserts are outrageous! The rice on my plate wasn't cooked evenly. I would only come here for special occasions. Note: Tequila 45 no longer makes Nutella CAKE, they now serve Nutella PUDDING instead.

I was nervous about this place being so close to Hobby Airport, but it is truly little gem of an oasis. Apparently this spot has existed almost a year, but I just recently heard of it As I drove up I was impressed by the exterior layout and decor. It is modern, vibrant, and you definitely see the Latin themes As I walked through the door I was astonished with how trendy the interior is. Each section and room is almost a little work of art with murals, Hispanic decor, chandeliers, etc. in the lobby there is a pair of neon wings you can pose with. The attention to detail is mesmerizing. The chairs and glassware even have the restaurants name etched or cut into them The staff was attentive and professional. The menu has all sorts of delectable texmex dishes, and the drink menu is extensive Some tips: Come for happy hour. It lasts for several hours and while the menu isn't huge, there are a lot of great and affordable drinks and eats Cheers!!

If you are looking for an authentic yummy dinner spot this is the place! The food was filling and SCRUMPTIOUS. The server was nice but the server didn't speak much English. It was really confusing. Also the decor was super pretty and colorful! Definitely come here. churros were the most delicious divine scrumdiddlyumptious thing I've ever

Cruiser Coffee (Organic) - That's some bitter coffee. It's not sweet, but it has a residual candy-like taste that resembles something I can't quite recall. It's also strong--like it goes as hard as my Vietnamese coffee. My eyes started twitching about half a cup in. Love it. Fresh Orange Juice - OH YEAH. My orange juice connoisseur BFF gave it the thumbs-up of approval. We asked for a glass of ice, and it elevated the drink. Steak and Green Eggs (BFF) - Wow. Those green eggs--what's in them? What is in them? Delicious with buttered toast. The potatoes were perfectly crisp, and that steak? Seasoned so well, super fragrant, and moist. For a breakfast steak, it's great. Admittedly, it was lathered in butter. Annie's Low-Fat, High Protein Burrito - Not my favorite. It tasted a bit too healthy after that incredible steak, but as the flavor lingered, it grew on me. My favorite part was definitely the beans, which came through exceptionally clean. Lox Platter w. Everything Bagel - Exactly what the menu promised with high-quality ingredients. They were VERY generous with the capers, and I'm grateful for that. Refreshing, even with the two containers of cream cheese (I only used one). Their menu is so simple, but they've truly mastered what they serve. The service was very attentive, and our waiter was energetic and humorous. The atmosphere was pleasant and comforting--high-end without the snobby undertone. We'll definitely be back.

In the past they would bring out a bread basket, as a free appetizer like how some mexican restaurants bring out chips and salsa, however, they dont seem to do that here anymore. Service at the table was mediocre, our waitress took our drink order and on the way over, the waitress was spilling the drinks over the floor on the way to our table. After our waitress took our order, my gf did not get the mayo on the side as she had asked, and after we received our food, our waitress never came around to check on us, didn't refill our drinks or anything. The place was very loud, louder than visiting waffle house. I was trying to have a conversation with my gf sitting just across the table from one another, and we were having to literally yell at one another just to hear what each other were saying. My gf did state that the sandwich she ordered was a big sandwich, and was more than she could finish. Once we were ready to go, our waitress still hadn't been around to check on us. So I had to flag down someone else, to get us some to go boxes, and our check. Low and behold, when I was ready to checkout, the waitress appears out of nowhere, after all this time, I'm guessing because she thought she was going to get a good tip. I'm sorry, waitstaff only get a great tip from me, once and if they perform a great job duty, and this was not the case in this matter. It looked like a busy morning for them, but the service moved at a reasonable pace--neither exceptionally fast nor particularly slow. My BF and I tried the Montauk Mint Collection: Mint Coconut Cream Cold Brew. Unfortunately, it landed pretty squarely in the middle for both of us. The drink had a strange graininess, and it was sweeter than I'd prefer. My BF summed it up as, "too much mint, not enough coffee." I wouldn't say it was bad, but I also can't say it was particularly great. That being said, the cold brew itself was definitely doing its job. The coffee was pretty potent, and after a few sips, I could actually feel my heart rate pick up a bit. There was also more ice than I personally prefer, although the drink didn't taste diluted, so I can understand the icy contribution. Update: The coffee gave me a stomachache a short while later. Maybe it was the dairy since I'm mildly lactose intolerant, but I drink milk pretty regularly despite that, so I'm completely unsure what caused it. Parking can be challenging on weekends, but there is complimentary valet and a few extra spots in a lot across the street. There's interior and exterior seating, with cozy booths and tables. Service is friendly. Chips and salsa: Superica has some of my favorite chips, crispy and thin and perfectly fried. The avocado crema salsa and warm serrano pepper salsas are delicious with a mild kick. The bottled red salsa is fresh and green salsa packs a nice punch. Migas: Scrambled eggs with tortilla chips and cheese, choice of chicken versus chorizo on top, finished with fresh avocado. I really enjoyed this combination and the generous portion for the price. The eggs are well scrambled without being dry, and the pairing with cheese is proportional. The chicken was a touch dry, but some salsa solved that well. I enjoyed stuffing each component into a fresh tortilla and devouring it as a breakfast taco. Refried beans and rice: Really delicious. The refried beans are of the smoother variety without as much chunkiness, which I prefer, and topped with creamy cheese. I could have used a touch more tomato in the rice, but overall enjoyed the texture and flavor. Patatas with salsa roja, topped with egg: I enjoyed the flavors in this dish, but there was sooo much salsa. The potatoes were thus a little soggy, though still cooked well. The over medium egg was cooked nicely and complemented the potatoes with creamy yolk. Bacon: Really generous portion for $7 as a side, and cooked well. Crispy potatoes: I enjoy that these are fingerling potatoes smashed and roasted, but they could be crispier. They seem to be on the blander side on purpose to allow seasoning to taste, and I really like pairing them with the red bottled salsa provided at each table (probably due to their association with ketchup). Hotcakes: The literal star of every brunch, these hotcakes are consistently delicious. They're massive yet somehow cooked perfectly through so that they're fluffy and soft on the inside and just with a slight crunch on the outside. The pairing of the creamy warm (!!!) maple syrup is heavenly. Because of how huge these are, usually one is enough to share between two people, although they also come in stacks of two and three. For reference, we finished 3/4 of three between four healthy and hungry people and it wasn't for lack of trying. Whenever I crave weekend brunch, Superica is always a top option.

Everywhere else I've ordered these, they serve it family style. Usually everyone at your table gets their own rice and beans. No here though. Here the fajitas are offered as an individual entree. The food was very delicious though. Both the chicken and the beef were seasoned snd cooked perfectly. The chicken was very tender and the beef had a nice char to it. The grilled onions were also very tasty. Overall we were really satisfied. It is a bit on the pricey side compared to other Tex Mex, and the unnecessary use of valet utilizing the parking lot through me off a bit. Not sure I'd return on my next visit, especially when I've already enjoyed other experiences a little more. At the least the food here is delicious and ultimately will always be the most important thing.

The chicken tortilla soup was good and the baked potato dip was great. Fresh house chips really sealed the deal on this one. I've always wanted to come here but it's always very crowded. And I know why. It will always be crowded and I'll just have to bare with it to return.

Instead, it is about the way we were treated by the hospitality manager, Kryssalyn Bayne. Our party consisted of five people, including a 97-year-old senior citizen. When we arrived, four of the five members of our party were present, and there were no guests waiting to be seated. However, Ms. Bayne was focused solely on the fact that one member of our party had not yet arrived. She informed us that other guests had been seated because they had called ahead, although this option had never been communicated to us during any of our previous visits. What was most concerning was not the seating policy itself, but the manner in which we were treated. Ms. Bayne's demeanor was loud, confrontational, and, in our opinion, disrespectful. We had all just come from church and were simply trying to understand the restaurant's policy. When I politely suggested that she lower her voice, she responded by accusing me of speaking disrespectfully to her staff, despite the fact that I had not spoken to anyone other than her. Grace's has always been known for its hospitality, which made this experience especially disappointing. I believe the front-of-house staff, and particularly those in leadership positions, would benefit from additional training in customer service, de-escalation, and professional communication. Every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, this interaction overshadowed what should have been a pleasant meal and family gathering. We were seated at Table 14 & served by Mr Lewis who was a breath of fresh air. The food was good despite the entry.
