The California nachos, chicken, shrimp and especially the al pastor tacos we're delicious. The classic and jalapeño cucumber margarita were also very good. Only complaint may be that it was a slow day and the food came out a lot slower than would be expected. However would still definitely recommend. read more

Tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but still the same situation. I went to this location new years eye before they had the big night party. My total was $85.89 and I gave a $10 tip. Hours later I was charged an extra $100 because the bar tender "Nella" gave her self an $100 tip. I still haven't received my money and pissed because this issue should've been settled by now. Ugh I was so excited to try this place but was quite disappointed. Now, i will say i went shortly after they opened so maybe that's why. My group of four had a reservation but had to wait quite a while to be helped and then again to be seated. We then waited even longer to order and even longer for our food and drinks to come. Drinks were pretty weak. I ordered the ceviche which was quite small but good...until I got horrendous food poisoning. Nobody else in my group had any so I have no doubt that's what did it. There is literally no toilet paper in the bathroom with three stalls and no soap. How good can the food be and how clean the kitchen?

The food is horrible. I order then chicken. It was served like a hot mess. The chorizo sausages were too salty. The sauce had no flavor other than salt. The chicken was like leather until you cut through it. For $34 ... I rolled the dice and it was a complete loss. A hard pass. The drinks were good and the overall bill was very expensive. The interior of the place was really nice. Perfect for a date. Just don't order the chicken and prepare yourself to pay New York prices for a dive. read more

Went here for dinner and from the moment we sat down it was a mess. Slow/confused service and mediocre food but the worst part was that they served my GF friend flour after we told them 10x she couldn't have it and the reassured us it was corn tortillas. After eating part of it, she asked again, and they again told us it was corn. We then asked to speak with the chef who came out and confirmed it was actually flour. Came back and can't say enough good things. This place is amazing!! The atmosphere is beautiful I love the hanging chandeliers. The service was so great the hostess was extremely sweet and friendly and our server was attentive and wonderful. I highly recommend the shaved Brussels sprouts and the beef skewers plus the fajitas were delicious! I got the spicy blood orange marg and my boyfriend got the la verde we were blown away. In all fairness, the food was decent. Our waiter was very attentive. The only drawback was the TINY portion of chicken quesadilla. This is a "trendy" almost nightclub type of restaurant. I was very excited to try this new place and gave it about a month before we visited. The drinks were fantastic. We got margaritas, smoked Negroni and mojito. The food was just not good and took a long time - about 45 min wait for small order. Taco shells were soggy - probably were sitting in the kitchen for a while. Fell apart down the middle when I picked them up and the flavor did not make up for it. $16 for two low quality tacos seems a bit much. Good after work crowd which is probably what it's better for, but will not be back for sit down dinner. Oh well... read more

The drinks are AMAZING. However, I feel as if I need to leave a review since they just opened and they can improve. The prices are appropriate for Stamford Harbor Point area but the portions are not. It was $37 for steak fajitas that come with 4 small pieces of steak and mostly vegetables. Rice and beans is an additional $3 which should be included in my opinion. The drinks are the only reason I have returned. I will not be ordering food if they don't improve their portion size or lower the prices. Not to mention the guacamole is $16 for a very small bowl. We came here for Mother's Day after having had good experiences previously. To start with the good, the food was delicious. We started with nachos and calamari to share and had no complaints. The calamari were crispy and not chewy at all as they can sometimes be if cooked improperly. For entrees, I had the steak frites, which was great - cooked perfectly, tender, and flavorful. Others at the table had the seafood paella, steak fajitas, and steak taco salad bowl, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Now for the not so good. The restaurant itself simply did not feel clean. When we arrived , maybe a quarter of the tables were full, but at least half a dozen still had dirty plates on them from customers who had left. By the time we finished our meal, the same tables were sitting dirty, with several more added. While we were eating, a server spilled a plate of sauce as he was walking, making a slippery mess. That sauce sat on the floor untouched even as we got up to leave. The restrooms were also pretty gross - imagine walking from a chic restaurant atmosphere into a dive bar bathroom, complete with broken fixtures and stall doors with holes that looked like they've been kicked through. The service was also subpar. I'm not sure if they were understaffed on this day, but it felt like they hired all new people or brought in their bench players . I got the impression that our server was either new or filling in, which I am usually fine with giving the benefit of the doubt. However, when we ordered flan for dessert and were given a crème brûlée, we of course let our server know of the mixup. I She then proceeded to tell us that what we got was, in fact, flan, and doubled down on that with some made-up nonsense - with some added attitude. Now, we know what the difference is, but just to make sure we looked up pictures on Yelp and found the flan from the Ridgefield location - which of course looked like flan, and not the brûlée we were given. Funny enough, that Yelp review described how that customer ordered crème brûlée and was given flan instead, and their server tried to convince them that they were wrong too! But fine - the crème brûlée we didn't order tasted good. We only had to sit there another fifteen minutes trying to let literally anyone's attention to get the check. Overall, food and drinks were great, but the lack of cleanliness and service hardly made up for that. read more

Where do I begin?? The one star is for the margarita which is really good and also nice and strong. The first time I went for dinner I had the paella which was pretty good but the service was horrible like if you want to wait over an hour for your food this is the place for you. The second time I went I didn't eat I just had a drink but my friend ordered food and felt so sick afterwards. We gave it one more chance and again I only ended up having a drink as the food has just never looked appetizing to me but my friend ordered food and again felt sick. Not to mention, even though the ambiance is really pretty the servers are creepy and they had girls walking around like it was a strip club. Last night we decided to go late night as they have a dj and big dance floor but it was so ridiculous we didn't even make it inside. The entrance was roped off so you had to walk all the way around to the side and then there was a $10 cover. If they want to make it in Stamford I think they are going to have to rethink their expectations of people (who pays a cover these days) and improve their food and service. read more

This is a glorified Buffalo Wild Wings type of establishment at best. Honestly, the food at Buffalo Wild Wings is better. It's the quality of a chain restaurant but designed to look like a high end establishment. An upscale interior with inferior food. I ordered nachos--how can you mess up nachos you ask? They brought out a play filled with bean puree and mixed in toppings with what appeared of be a bag of tortillas chips poured ontop. It was more like chips and bean dip. The tacos were tiny and dry, and everything is overpriced for what you are getting. I'd honestly rather eat at a Ruby Tuesday or chilis, because that's about the kind of quality food you're getting. Service was not great either. We waited for about 15 minutes at a table with no water before I had to ask the manager to get a waiter to our table, whom didn't even introduce herself and brought out my side of sour cream that I ordered with my meal before we even got our waters.
