I always get the mimosa (their version is so good): orange juice, a little grenadine, vodka, fruit sparkling wine, and topped with raspberries. It's the perfect "brunch but make it fun" drink without being too sweet. They're also known for the Chico Pacifico ceviche and it's a must if you're going with a group. Service here is a big part of why we keep coming back -- the staff is genuinely friendly and at this point they know us by name, which always makes it feel welcoming. One note: the valet situation is super convenient but it's shared with nearby restaurants so sometimes it can get a little chaotic depending on the time you go. The standout for me was the tortillas--they're grilled over charcoal, which gives them an amazing smoky flavor that really elevates the tacos. Tab came out to $242 for the 7 of us. Tab also took 20 minutes to come out after again, asking for it twice. Upon walking in, vibes were high & music was loud. The guests around us looked as stunned as we were, including the women waiting behind him to be seated. Before we left, I verified his name with another server, and Eddie yelled at us for doing that, too. Then we walked straight out. I later learned the owner of this bar is named Eddie. If that is who screamed at us, then there is no manager to complain to and no reason to expect anything to change. This was our second visit. The food the first time was honestly bad, but we gave it another chance since everywhere else was full. Now I understand why this place had open tables on a game day. The food was really good. I got the pozole soup and it was really flavorful but also had chopped onions and fresh Mexican oregano on the side. We also got the queso blanco. It needed more flavor so I added in the salsa and it was really good. The service was really good. We didn't have a reservation but they let us sit in the really nice atrium for 2 hours before another reservation needed the table. The atrium is beautiful. I loved sitting in there with all the plants. They could use purse hooks under it besides the tables though.
