Was craving a teriyaki chicken bowl and this spot was the closest place I could find. Once I saw their roll menu, I couldn't just order the chicken bowl. I also ordered their Hawaiian Avocado roll (in: avocado, cream cheese, spicy crab meat. top: baked salmon). I kept it simple. The chicken bowl was, meh, ok. However, the roll was very tasty. If I remember to come back, I would come back to try the rest of their roll menu. The service was nice, polite and friendly. It was decent sushi, definitely believe the price for the sushi was a little too much for the quantity of sushi I got. I ordered a Spider Roll and it was decent, it gave me four rolls. If I am paying for a $17+ item I expect at least 6 rolls or something. I hope for next time, they would put the amount of rolls in their menu so customers know what they're paying for. We ordered take out but after arriving, I was surprised to see how nice and clean it was inside! If I were to return, I would definitely be open to eating at the restaurant. The rolls we tried Crunch crunch, picante and Hawaiian avocado. All were pretty good definitely coming back to try others my favorite was Hawaiian avocado. But all were great. Good food. The restaurant is small and quite hot actually since I don't think there was any AC running even in such a hot day. Customer service was very good. The bento boxes that we ordered tasted great, especially the salmon. I do think the pricing is a bit on the higher end despite the lower quality of the environment. Some of the seats were ripped. I got a bento bowl with beef and spicy tuna everything was good my meat was a bit cold the customer service was so good that I bet they would've re heat it for me but I really didn't want to bother. The tempura was bomb ! Probably my favorite part of the meal and although meat was a bit on the cold side it was def a good portion ..spicy tuna also bomb ! This place is pretty dang good. My work is within walking distance of this restaurant, which is amazing cuz I always want sushi. Their sushi is fresh and their place is clean. The gentleman that helped me was very helpful and so friendly. And they have a wide variety of food choices, so whatever you are craving they probably have it. I have been coming to my boyfriend's house in East LA for over 4 years and had never tried this place. After having a late night undying craving for sushi, I yelped the closest place and found this place. We decided to order a few things off of the menu I found on the photo section of their Yelp, and gave them a call to order pickup. They were polite, and I really like the fact that they didn't ask for a name or phone number for our $93 order (we ordered 7 rolls). I was amazed! They told us 25 minutes, and sure enough, it was all ready on time. Polite and very courteous staff. Most importantly - The. Rolls. Are. AMAZING! Very fresh fish and perfectly cooked rice! The avocado was also very fresh. They are extremely generous with the ingredients, and I had NO idea how huge their rolls are. We ate half that night, and had some more leftover sushi the next day for lunch and STILL had leftovers! We are big eaters! I don't say that lightly. Their spicy mayo is actually spicy, but it's SO good. Their rolls are so good all by themselves, you'll find the ginger and wasabi untouched and your belly full.
