This is my favorite place for general tso's in the area. Food is always tasty, generous portions and ready quickly. Good service and parking right outside. Plenty of tables for indoors eating of takeout.

I LOVE coming here for chicken katsu! It's become a weekly treat. It goes great with the garlic sauce so get that as well.

Stopped in here to dine in while I was waiting for my discount tire appointment. The food is amazing and the people that work here are so nice. We got the spicy chicken special that was 9.99 today and the chicken teriyaki & gyoza combo. The spicy chicken is hot and fresh and it's marinated with a Buffalo sauce that isn't the usual Buffalo sauce it's not overpowering and it was delicious. The chicken teriyaki was tender and the chicken was moist I loved how you could taste the char on some pieces. The gyoza was hot, fresh and crispy. The entrees come with sauce on the chicken and extra sauce on the side. They also come with a little side salad with a tasty creamy dressing. We also had the egg rolls which were $4 for 2. These are massive and delicious. The owner asked if it was our first time and gave us a garlic sauce on the side that she said people liked , so sweet of her. Almost Everyone that came in was a customer that had been there before/knew the people by name. Definitely stop by if you are in the area!!

The spicy Teryaki is great! The gentleman who always takes my order goes above the ordinary! He's always pleasant and noticed me being a new customer and recommended I try the delicious special garlic sauce they have (you gotta try!!!) Very tasty, high quality, super flavorful, huge portion of chicken and great proportions. My new Teryaki go to spot, 10/10 would Recommend!

Needed to find a quick bite for lunch. Found this place through Yelp and saw great reviews. The place is a bit secluded in a corner and looks a bit sketchy but the sketchier the place- the better the food. Boy, i wasn't wrong. The chicken was juicy and customer service was great. I ordered take out and got my food in less than 10 minutes. This establishment will be my go-to for lunch!

I visited Teriyaki Express for lunch today and ordered the Teriyaki Chicken combo and a Coca-Cola. The chicken was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and tasted phenomenal. The rice was moist and had the best texture. All of their sauces are amazing and enhance the experience. I will definitely order this again and highly recommend to support this business.

From the moment I stepped inside to the decor and service to the taste and quality of food, I was impressed the entire night. Most bbq places are laid back and loud, but this place is refined, sophisticated, and everything you'd want for a date night or celebration. Starting off with service, everyone we spoke with was lovely and inviting. We felt welcomed and our server kept checking on us, but wasn't too invasive, so we were able to catch up. We were greeted with hand towels and 3 options for water. Cutlery and tableware were nicely set up and I'm obsessed with their plates! I was blown away by all of the dishes we ordered but my favorites were definitely the Uni Toast, Wagyu Volcano, and honestly all the meats we ordered to grill. They grill your meats for you, so it is a bit awkward because the person stands there until everything is done, but it's cooked to perfection! Highly recommend for a nice date night or celebration dinner.

We started with a wagyu toast and the meat just melted in your mouth. We also had alaska king crab with A5. Kind of a surf and turf nigiri. The uni toast was a little too much toast but it was a generous amount of uni. The Rubik's cube was a literal cube of meat. They cook it to perfection in front of you. Lots of sauces and sides to try. Everything was very good. It's amazing how different each cut of meat tastes. I loved the silky egg yolk in the volcano. They offer bottle service as well as drinks and their drinks were excellent. Would definitely go back!

I know this because a little bit fell on my napkin. Beef was tender. Absolutely loved every bite. Seasonal Creamy Hokkaido Uni Udon- this was also amazing. Very creamy. Loved the saltiness of the salmon roe and chewiness of the udon. Wouldn't mind getting this again. Seasonal Lavender Matcha Latte- I don't usually like to drink my dessert but this was exceptional. Absolutely loved the lavender foam. It was perfectly balanced and perfect amount of sweetness. I'd get it again Seasonal Purple Sweet Potato Mont Blanc- this looked better than it tasted the sweet potato itself was more savory and needed the soft serve to make it taste more like a dessert. Once you make your way to the soft serve, spoon a little bit of the sweet potato with a full spoon of soft serve, then it'll be good, in my opinion. Kohaku Matcha Parfait- delicious. Loved the little bit of strawberry and the warabi mochi. Probably not the best matcha parfait I've had but I'd get it again. Got the Sakura Tendon Set to go for dinner on the plane. While it was tasty, the crispiness didn't hold up so I would not recommend taking it to go/eating it at room temp. The grilled steak don probably would've been better for this purpose but I have no regrets. Service was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again next time I'm in town.

One of my friends and I have already had their location in Georgetown countless times so we were happy to recommend our choices for our other friend this Friday evening around 7pm. Welp, we came into very full seating inside an extremely tight yet cozy seating area if it weren't for all the noise from there being so many people inside. It was so full and more people kept lining up behind us that we decided to do takeout and eat our food on the hood of my car despite spaces opening up as we waited about 20 or so minutes for our food... did I mention the parking lot for this place was nearly full and spots were very unforgiving in elbow room? Also that it's peak dinner time? Anyway, you place your order on a lone kiosk up front which did contribute to the really long line forming near the outside entrance. Like their Georgetown location, they offer a ton of hearty donburi and some appetizers and soup. Staff were a little rushed with some orders and forgot to give me utensils when I requested them through the kiosk but this didn't affect my overall experience, as I went back and they were more than happy to give them to me. We got their unagi donburi, which consists of a ton of broiled freshwater eel with an umami seasoning and tender juiciness, all on top of a huge bed of rice and with some radish. One of my friends instead got their una-gyu donburi which is a mix of unagi and sukiyaki beef, though that means we all got their unagi. Eel wasn't too salty, and scales are very fine and small that you can just eat it as is. This was a warming, hearty meal that sat very well with me and my friends. For this location and the one in Georgetown, I am most certainly coming back for some more!

Definitely look forward to coming back for more. Not a large restaurant so the tables can fill up quite fast. Order at counter or kiosk and they serve the bowls to your table. You bus your own table after.

Although it was pretty busy inside, we were able to be seated in about 10 minutes, which was great for a last minute decision for Shabu Shabu. I haven't done many Shabu Shabu places, but this one is a bit different since you get a set of vegetables and meat rather than ordering multiple rounds. The quality of the meat and vegetables, in my opinion, was much higher compared to those places where you're able to get multiple rounds of meat or select your own vegetables/sides. The broth (I had kombu) was pretty light, so it wasn't the best. The service was pretty friendly and the only fault to them was they didn't come around to refill our pots with hot water. I enjoyed dinner here and would definitely come back again. The quality of the food, the calm restaurant atmosphere, and the polite staff made it an enjoyable experience.
