I've lived in Sherman a while and just found this place. If you're craving some great takeout Asian food, this is the place to go! It's mostly designed for order and carry out, but I took my grandma here and the cashier went out of her way to accommodate us when we wanted to sit down for lunch. She was very sweet to my grandma, who isn't that familiar with Asian food, and our food came out quickly and was delicious. I really recommend the shrimp chow mein. My only complaint is the bathroom. It's down a dark hallway in the back and was not well-stocked. read more

Sorry, but I was very disappointed. I ordered a carry-out Teriyaki Chicken. The food was in a styrofoam container (which was fine) with the salad tossed in on one side and the grilled chicken, what little of it there was, tossed in on the other. Surprise! The chicken was cold, even after picking it up within 10 minutes of placing the order. It came with teriyaki sauce...one of the small plastic containers that would hold something like salad dressing, but it was only half full. Needless to say, the meal looked nothing like the pics on the website and these feet won't be headed back. Oh yeah, my wife ordered the cold, shoe leather, also called Beef Bell Pepper, again not a good experience. read more

Low Quality, Big Portions, Good Taste. My boyfriend and I had the chicken fried rice which was delicious as well as the beef and chicken meal which was not as good. By far the best Asian food in Sherman, but that's not saying very much. read more

Really good Asian food from all over little Japanese,Chinese, Korean. The food gets to you really quick and hot. The food is pretty standard though. Now don't get me wrong the food is great. There is just no wow factor. I eat here often and will continue to. read more

Spicy Kung Pao Chicken is so good! Steamed rice and didn't leave me feeling weighed down. Such a satisfying meal, my favorite place to go!

The food is great and it comes out fast. Not much seating but the people who work there are super nice. My wife and I go there for lunch hen we are at work. We can get in,eat,and get back to work in a timely manner. read more

Boy, was I really let down with this place!! I was hoping for more than cabbage in my vegan meal, but that's pretty much 95% of the dish. It was thinly spread over the plate to make it look bigger than it was. It was about 5 bites worth for $6.79. We also bought 2 spring rolls for $2.50. Expected, Vietnamese size but got 2 fried tator-tot sized rolls (barely larger). Not to mention my granddaughter bought dumplings. I didn't think making them THAT small was even possible!! They need to go into the teriyaki sauce business and leave the restaurant business to someone else. I can pan fry my own cabbage for .58 cents at home. One of the cheapest foods there is! I will never go back. What's really odd to me is that I've seen others talk about their portions but evidently, consistency is an issue here and favoritism isn't because, it it would take 4 plates to fill me up. I just had my first meal from teriyaki jar, and it definitely won't be the last. I've lived here for about 2 years and have been struggling without having quality Chinese food. Decided to give teriyaki jar a try today after seeing it for the first time the other day. I was not disappointed. I had spring rolls and an order of chicken fried rice. The rice was great and has an authentic and unique texture. (Unlike the run of the mill fried rice from other places)The spring rolls were the icing on the cake. Jan 4th. Had the beef bulgogi. I have ate this dish in Hawaii, Asia and all over the US. This was the worst bulgogi I have ever had. Burnt, overcooked and had a weird taste. I remember when this place opened. The had chicken wings to die for. Not anymore. Will not be coming back anytime soon. read more

This place is really clean. The food is really good. Sometimes portion is small for the price. Willing to put up with it because it is so good and c lean.dont like the Styrofoam either. Wish they would charge to cardboard for soup.like the fried rice is mostly rice. Sometimes meat especially chicken is way over done. Still like it. I love Asian food, but I was disappointed here. I went in looking for noodles in soup, which they told me was just store bought ramen noodles, which in hindsight I appreciate so I didn't find out after I'd already bought it. Their food is not real appealing to me we have tried to eat there a couple times and it's just not my taste lunch crowd is busy but dinner is deserted they are over priced for what little you get and served on paper plates to! Wasn't feeling well and wanted wanton soup and it was the nastiest wonton soup I've ever eaten and was like six dollars for small container I worked at Wilson and Jones Hospital at the time so it was the only thing near by! read more

My new favorite place! I tried the teriyaki chicken and egg rolls tonight. Very tasty! Can't wait to go back and try the noodles.

I tried it for the first time on my lunch hour; thought I would pop in and grab a bite and get out quickly! Very few tables to sit at. Lady at the counter was very nice. I ordered the beef fried rice and sweet tea. I will not go back! The sweet tea has a real weird taste and it took forever to get my order! Three people who came in after me got theirs before I did. When I got back to work and opened my container, the meat was almost burned; it was so tough and dry it was ridiculous, and the rice was clumped together and dry. All in all, horrible! Definitely NOT worth the $10 it cost! Next time I want this type of food, I'll go elsewhere! read more
