I ordered my food to go. Everything was ready for pickup at my chosen time. Food was still hot and fresh. When ordering online , you get the option to get your drink prefilled or you can fill up your own drink when you pick up your order. The place was clean, with plenty of seats to dine in. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Parking is a little bit of a hassle, since there is a parking deck that is shared with all the other businesses at the shopping center. TIP: They do offer a lunch special.

This company has been blasting me with ads on Instagram to try their bogo offer. I tried to order online for pick up and it would not work. I tried again a week later, no luck. The madness I was promised was beginning to sink in. Feeling a craving for Asian flavors I decided to drive over and just order at the counter. The employee looked upset and hating their job but gave me the bogo so that was cool I guess. I like the option to switch out rice for veggies for another $1.00 but our entire bowls were cabbage with like 2 pieces of tiny broccoli. Then you can pay another $1.00 for more broccoli? The bowls were embarrassing looking. The flavors were ok but my spicy orange chicken was not spicy. It looked like sauced junky nuggets, not nice quality meat. My partner equally disliked their bowl. Don't waste your money.

The food is tasty. I went to pick up my order and no one acknowledged me. Another guy walks in and they ask him is he here for pick up or to place an order. The lady looked at me when I came in. The service was lacking which is a shame as the food is really good

    Cleaned the bowl! Too good.

Presentation & food was great! Everything on point. Thanks to Tony, Phaedra, & Danny.

My receipt, NOT my name. Super rude if you ask me, but I was never asked my name.

Ok, so I'll start with the GOOD, the food! This was my time experience at Teriyaki Madness, since my Wife raves about it, I decided to meet her for lunch. I enjoyed my food so much that I didn't even get to take a picture lol. I had the junior teriyaki chicken bowl with fried rice combo with egg roll and drink. Everything was good until I looked at my receipt because I didn't recall the cashier giving me a number or asking my name. Then I noticed she began to call names of people who order and bringing the food to them. Everyone one else was called by their NAME. My receipt had DREADS, in the name section. DREADS is NOT MY NAME, my name is JESSICA, JESS if I like you. Anyway I thought that was strange. Next time I go I might call the cashier Braids!? Could have gotten 5 stars if the Cashier treated me like the other customers.

The food is delicious and the medium is enough for my husband and I to share for lunch. Lunch is a deal at $12!! Friendly staff.

The first time was in November 2025 and 2nd time March 2026 where the bartenders were professional, welcoming, knowledgeable, and made some of the best Bloody Marys we've had in Charlotte. The food was excellent, and we left both times excited to come back. Unfortunately, this Sunday's visit (around 2 p.m.) felt like a different restaurant. It was much busier, and service was noticeably lacking. We waited quite a while just to be acknowledged, our drinks weren't nearly the quality they had been before, and the Bloody Mary tasted like it came straight from a mix instead of being handcrafted like our previous visits. The food was also disappointing. It was much saltier than we remembered, and we never received the Caesar salad with steak we ordered. To the staff's credit, it wasn't on our bill, so we didn't mention it. Overall, no one was rude, but the attention to detail, professionalism, and overall experience that earned our previous five-star reviews just wasn't there this time. We're hoping this was simply an off day because we genuinely loved this place and would like to see it return to the high standard that made us regular customers.

Big, open and airy. Lots of seating and a few party rooms too. Loved the outdoor seating too. If it had been a little cooler that would have been perfect. They have cornhole and ping pong and just a fun atmosphere out there. Our server was warm and attentive. We did not have to wait for refills and she was quick to answer any questions we had. We started with a few apps - the chips and onion dip and the pigs in a blanket. The chips were well salted and the onion dip was DELISH!!! The pigs were wrapped in homemade party dough and came with a honey mustard crème fraiche. They were so good!! For entrees we tried the fried chicken, prime rib dip, and the meatloaf. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The mashed potatoes were so good too. The only misstep on this dish was the biscuit. Way too dense and not very flavorful. The prime rib dip was tender and came on the most crispy bread. What a great combo! The only thing that wasn't great were the fries, just nothing too special. The meatloaf dish was flavorful and came with those yummy mashed potatoes so great pairing. We didn't have room for dresser on site but we did take the monkey bread to go and enjoyed it later. Good portion size and full of apple and caramel flavor. Did not regret taking that home!! Really looking forward to this spot opening closer to home. Highly recommended

They have always had, in my estimation, the best French onion soup around and I was craving it, so off I went. The restaurant off East Boulevard is an eclectic sort of place, and in my memory the interior hasn't ever changed. The wood is dark, the tables a bit worn and packed together to give a slightly claustrophobic feel, and the decor is always vaguely counterculture. For people who like NoDa and Plaza Midwood (before its recent transformation), it's homey as can be. I enjoyed the familiarity of its unpretentious surroundings as I took a seat in a tiny corner booth. Delighted to note that the French onion soup is as delicious as ever, with a richly flavored broth and a generous amount of bread and cheese baked in. While the quality hasn't diminished, thank heavens, the size has gone from a bowl to a cup. As it was my upcharged side I didn't mind terribly but still. Alas. Kudos to the kitchen for letting me have my soup before my sandwich was delivered, but here is where things went a little south. I had ordered The Usual, one of their trademark dishes, a hot open-faced chicken salad sandwich on a baguette topped with asparagus, mushrooms and cheese. It too has been the victim of shrinkflation, about 2/3 as big as once it was. Again, didn't mind terribly much but the toppings themselves were scant: three small strips of jarred or canned asparagus, four slices of mushroom. Okay, everything is expensive these days, but the edges of the sandwich were burned and the filling was cool, meaning the salamander setting was off and no one checked it before sending it out or putting it down. I might have considered sending it back but that's when my server disappeared. My water glass sat empty for half my meal and was never refilled. Even paying the check was sluggish. So I give the current state 300 East a solid three with a disappointed sigh because they seem to be phoning it in. Really great French onion soup, though.

Really enhanced further by the syrup and amazing texture difference when you get any of the crispy chicken over the waffle. But on the other hand, everything else we ordered and the service while we were there were lacking. We had a reservation for lunch on a Sunday, and were seated very quickly. But then it took a very long time for a waiter to come to us. Once the waiter did arrive, we weren't greeted or introduced, simply just a "know what you want?". On top of that, when asking what was in the quiche of the day and the market rate we got a "idk maybe 14 or 15" and then what we were told was in the quiche was just not true haha. We were told there would be some vegetables and cheese, but ended up with no cheese and a lot of potatoes inside our quiche. The food did come very fast after we ordered so that was a plus. I think the main reason this experience left a bad feeling was because the table next to us had the same waiter and got a completely different experience. The waiter walked them through the menu, told them about the history of the restaurant, and told them a completely different (but this time accurate?) price and contents of the quiche of the day! I'm glad the chicken and waffles were fantastic, but it is sort of hard to enjoy your meal when you see completely different service from your waiter just one table next to you :(
