I've ate at Teriyaki Madness at a couple different locations, but it was my first time at this location. The food was super tough and not flavorful at all. The steak was so chewy and overcooked and had burnt edges. The chicken was supposed to be dark meat, but I got white meat instead. I called to let them know and they said I needed to bring it in for a refund. I'm not going to drive back there. And I will never go to this location again and maybe that's why they don't have a current five star rating. read more

First time going to TM and the food was amazing. I seen that they had a deal so I opted to try it out. I thought I was gonna get a small puny bowl but it turns out, THE small bowl very heavy and full and packed in well. You can't beat that $7.99 with a stick. The cashier was super nice and helpful. (Update #2) I don't re-visit my Yelp profile unless I really need to write a review about bad service or an incident of poor food quality. Or on the flip-side an outstanding instance of customer service and overall experience. As I was writing a review for another business. I noticed that this place (Teriyaki Madness) responded to my past review of an update where I commented that I was served cold eggrolls with a denial and response that basically says "The TMAD way has never changed." Ha! Based on more recent reviews by others who are experiencing issues with your establishment, I would have to disagree. What does this even mean? Are you saying it never happened? In fact how about acknowledging that a food quality error occurred instead of offering a weird denial and response that it didn't happen? It's condescending and doesn't make sense. This is why more people are choosing to save their money and avoid the over-priced poor quality food being served these days. A lot of these food places are losing customers and failing. Keep up your behavior and lack of quality control and you'll see as well. And to paraphrase some of the recent comments from people who had a negative experience at your place of business: "I found a dead roach in my food." " 60 dollars for three people." "Horrible customer service." Shall I go on? LOL!! Also my review wasn't based on one experience. I actually held back when I noted that the food quality had gone down hill. Stopped here for BBC an easy meal. I ordered the chicken teriyaki. They have two sizes so I got the large. It was definitely a good choice. I did not finish it as I did not want to be uncomfortable. I just been $60 at this restaurant paid for extra toppings on my food. I get home the extra toppings that I pay for are not even on the bowl I said in line in the restaurant and waited 30 minutes for them to make three bowls and they weren't even packed and they said that I have to bring my food back. I don't live on this side of town and I have to be at work at 7 o'clock. That's why I came and still sat there 30 minutes. Good teriyaki bowls... One of many things I'm an expert at is chicken teriyaki and Teriyaki Madness makes good ones. Choose your meat/protein: I had chicken (dark). Choose a base: I had white rice. Choose a side: I didnt want vegetables so I asked for just more rice. I just got a chicken bowl but if you order the larger size plate sides can be also be green salad or mac salad. Their other protein options are beef, spicy chicken, chicken breast only, orange chicken, chicken katsu or tofu. The other base options are brown rice, fried rice, veggies or noodles. Service was friendly & it didnt take too long considering how busy they were during the Saturday lunch rush when I was there. They ask for your name when you order so just listen for it to be called. I ordered to eat in but was still given a nice, sturdy bowl worthy of take-out. It was the nice plastic kind with a snap lid. It was nice but I thought it was such a waste of plastic especially since I was eating in and all I got was the bowl. I was starved so there was not gonna be any leftovers for sure. The chicken was good. It was cooked just right. With some char marks from the grill. I really liked it. There was a good amount & since I got dark meat, the chicken was indeed juicy & tasty. This place is great located in a shopping center off Craig road. I have been here now 2x and every time is pleasurable. They have a pretty simple menu and really now how to deliver some great Teriyaki. They have lots of meat choices from chicken (both breasts and thighs, beef, pork and salmon. Every time I have come here I have gotten the same thing. Chicken Teriyaki with all veggies no rice and every time they have delivered on great food and great service. The employees here are always very friendly and you know its good when every time I have been here it has been super busy at lunch time with a constant line. Delicious as usual. Got my two protein plate with spicy chicken and teriyaki beef with a side of mac salad, but to my surprise they have new plate/bowls. Which i must say I'm not sure i enjoyed to much. My husband who is usually over satisfied requested a portion of my rice because he didn't have enough for his own? Made me wonder. The kitchen doesn't know how to read tickets...or the person putting in the order didn't put in the order correctly!! This place is horrible and doesn't even care about customer recovery. I placed an order ahead of time and got there to pick it up in 15 mins or so. It still wasn't ready and there was no one in the restaurant. It finally is done after another 10 mins. I take my order and leave not thinking anything or needing to check my order because they tie the bag up. Do I am trusting they have my order correct. I get all the way home and the order is wrong and they made 2 spicy chicken bowls. They at least got the rice correct! One had white rice and one had fried rice. The one that's supposed to be regular teriyaki chicken with fried rice is for my toddler that does not eat spicy. I call to tell them they messed up the order, the lady tell me to hold...im assuming to ask her kitchen if that's what happened. She comes back on and says to bring the bowl back and she can remake it. I tell her I have 2 little ones. It's inconvenient to leave and go all the way back to return the bowl. So she offers a discount for another time. At this point I'm just irritated of the inconvenience this is, because now I have pack up my toddler and infant to go replace and item that should have been correct in the first place! I pack the kids up thinking it will be ready by the time I get there, since I told the lady I'd come and switch it over the phone. Nope! It was another 20 mins! Also I made sure to let the guy working the front register that it was the one with fried rice that needed to be remade. He just grabs it and goes to the back and is talking to the lady, im assuming I spoke to on the phone. They're shaking the bowl around to make sure it's fried rice. I can clearly see them through the door window! Way to make people feel comfortable! Horrible!! Why would I lie over fried rice! Seriously! Also going in and out the restaurant waiting on the remake, the guy at the register kept going to the back to hide once he saw me still waiting! For sure I will not go back!
