Came to Las Vegas as my family and I are looking to move out here but also came during the Labor Day weekend for a little vacation. A little two for one I guess you can say lol. My wife and her family came to this spot on a previous trip and so my wife recommended we come here this trip so I could try it out. One thing she got me with was so I could try out the sushi tacos. Once I heard this I agreed right away. Located in the China Town area, in a small shopping plaza. Very easy to spot from the Main Street. It was a nice spot with a lot of space and very clean. Seating was mostly booth style tables/seating from what I could remember. Staff was very polite and welcoming. They immediately seated us without any waiting. The menu had your usual sushi options including yakitori options. As I mentioned, my wife got me to agree to coming here based off the fact that they had sushi tacos. We ordered the blue crab, salmon poke, tuna poke, and soft shell crab sushi tacos. We also ordered the shrimp and vegetable tempura with a dozen oysters. The sushi tacos were excellent. They were filled with rice and fish. The ratio of rice to fish was perfect! Not too much rice and a good amount of fish. Each taco was honestly big enough to where me and my wife were able to share and try what we ordered and were truly satisfied. Each kind we ordered hit the spot! The tempura was perfect as well. The oysters were bigger oysters and unfortunately were a bit fishy. They were shucked to where they were kind of torn apart instead of keeping its shape . The only thing that saved them was the sauce it came with. Other than that, the oysters weren't very good and a bit of a disappointment since we were both craving oysters all weekend. Other than the disappointing oysters, the rest of the food and service was great! If you haven't tried sushi tacos before, you should definitely come here to try them. I ordered late night sushi for delivery while I was in town and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity delivered! The salmon avocado roll was on special on Uber Eats and it had a generous amount of salmon and fresh avocado. The kaisen bowl was a great deal at $26 and had more fish and variety than $40 bowls I've had. Plenty of ikura and different types of fish and the rice was tasty and moist. Small parking lot, but all us tourists ride share here. Only the locals drive. Due to peak season and peak dinner time, my round trip ride share (2.6 mile each way) cost me $60! If added to the dinner price, it was expensive, lol. The customer base is a mix of locals and tourists (thanks to Yelp). Unisex restrooms. Service - Good, but had to ask for "everything" which they brought to us with no issues. Forks, ginger & wasabi, extra frosted glass, water refill, etc. All 3 team members were good. Price - $46 + tip. Reasonably priced, normally I would have ordered an extra sushi roll ($15 more), but again, due to my late lunch and being a light eater, I just could not eat any more. I have been seeing the sushi taco trend on TikTok and this place has them. I got to try the salmon, soft shell crab, and negi toro. My favorite was the soft shell crab but the salmon was also yummy because it was flavorful. I wish I wasn't full from my last meal so I could order more. We got spicy edamame to try but we wish they had shishito peppers. They just didn't have it at the time. The food came out quick and if you needed anything you just pressed the button. Everything was delicious- the blue crab fried rice was the star and the sauce that came with the pork jowl skewers were good. Definitely a hidden gem! Plenty of parking, which is always a plus, and the restaurant itself is super cute with a great amount of seating. Customer service was on point from start to finish, and every dish came out fresh and hot. We ordered a variety of items off the menu and were honestly impressed across the board. The gyoza ($6) was perfectly pan-fried with a great crispy bottom, and the filling was packed with flavor. The dipping sauce had just the right hint of spice to bring it all together. The takoyaki ($6) were hands down some of the best we've had at any restaurant. Super crispy on the outside, and when you bite in, the inside just melts and oozes out, so good and full of flavor. The squid leg karaage ($10) was a great starter. Squeezing fresh lemon over it and dipping it in the mayo and spicy sauce combo made it even better. Definitely recommend this one. We were especially excited about the soft shell crab ($9) since it's hard to find it served on its own. It did not disappoint... perfect crunch, great flavor, and the dipping sauce really elevated it. The tonkatsu curry ($13) was a standout. The jasmine rice was cooked perfectly, the curry had rich flavor with tender carrots throughout, and the katsu was fried to perfection... crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Easily a 10/10 dish. The curry udon ($9) is perfect if you're craving something comforting...just curry and noodles done right. The udon ($8) had a flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles, simple but executed really well. The crazy dragon roll ($13) was definitely a highlight. The amount of eel on top was impressive, and the roll itself was a great size. Everything from the rice to the flavor balance was spot on. One of our go-to spots for solid food! It's not super authentic, but good quality and great prices. The service is also spot on. I especially love when tables have the bell to call your server because it just makes everything easier. We always order the udon and the chicken Karaage for our kids and they never disappoint. Both my kids will eat their entire dishes so these are 2 things we always get. I'm also a huge fan of their its izakaya roll and bonus! it's included (along with many other sushi items) in their 20% deal mon-thur from open to 9pm. Everything else we've tried has ranged from good-great (luckily nothing bad), so you really can't go wrong. The space is good and love that there are tons of booth seating. Been here a few times. There's parking around the area. On a Saturday night, the parking lot was busy. We've never had to wait for a table which is perfect. Service is always good. My friend wanted to go here for dinner one day and I didn't realized this was the same place until I saw their Kaisen don in person. It was my first time ever dining at the restaurant. I think they have amazing prices, big enough menu for anyone to enjoy, and fresh seafood. They have happy hour as well. Really like the food here, and it's probably one of my favorite izakaya. It was unexpected amazing, and there were different flavor textures that I never thought would happen and the thing that surprised me.
