This place is great ! My go to is the chicken over rice lunch special. I eat here about 2 times a week and it never fails.

The family loves consistently good food, no doubt about it. Some places are great one visit, and then just so-so on the next; not Teriyaki Plus! I've hit this place many more times than my few check-ins indicate, and every time any of us show up we are welcomed promptly and the consistency of the food here is always top notch. We each have our favorite dishes, but then I usually have to choose between a couple of outstanding plates, never an easy task for this reviewer. All the skewers are amazing and really make a reduced fat diet something quite enjoyable. Any one of the plates here is really two meals for me now, and that translates into an amazing bargain in this economy. Whether you choose chicken, beef, fish, some other seafood, or another entree, get ready for a freshly prepared meal served up at drive-thru fast food prices! Most plates include salad and tempura along with the ample serving of rice. The drinks are self serve, so you can have what you want, when you want it. I have yet to bring anybody here who has not been impressed by quality and quantity vs the price-point; so next time you are looking for something slightly different, swing into this place and try a plate. This place is near our house so the other night hubby and I decided to try it out. I was happy with my food although, I hadn't realized I was buying all fried food. That was my bad, though. And it was really good nonetheless. My husband got pot stickers. I don't have too much to say about this placw. I will let the pictures tell the storu4. Pricing is food, food is really good, place is small but most people take out anyway. The service we got was good. The man was very nice and must have a lot of regulars because in the time we were there, most of the people who cane in knew him by name and greeted him like family. That's always a good sign. I'm going to 5-STAR the cook with this review. I walked into this place setting around 5:00 p.m., the cashier was busy taking an order on the phone so I stood there waiting for service. Without hesitation, the cook noticed I wasn't being helped so he basically walked to the front and asked me if I wanted to order. I gave him my order and he immediately said he's going to start cooking it. The cashier was still on the phone (poor girl) so within minutes my food was ready. I 5-STAR the service from the cook because service people need to understand that it's very important to make your customers feel welcomed and appreciated it. If they are waiting, order them a free drink on the house. That's how they will return even if the food item they chose is not to their liking.. if the service is good, they are willing to go back and try other items on the menu because you treated them with appreciation and welcomed them! Times are tough and money is scarce because of the many folks that are laid off. So grab customers attention like the cook-person at this place. Great job on ensuring I will return for another dish. While the food here is very simple and fresh made, the real magic is all about the 2 sauces. For the food, you get a bed of Japanese rice with your grilled meat, shrimps (my favorite), or vegetables, a couple pieces of tempura and a small simple salad. Then what you do is take the teriyaki and spicy chili sauces and pour it all over the food and mix it all together. The combination of the sweet teriyaki and the spicy chili sauces mixed with the rice and food is where the real magic of this food comes together. Its a fantastic flavor combination. You gotta like it spicy! I always do the #5 order of two shrimp skewers, 1 teriyaki, and 2 spicy sauce. Take the shrimps off the skewers, remove the tails, pour the sauces all over, mix together and enjoy! I've been coming to this location for years and it's always 10/10. The chicken Katsu is to die for and the teriyaki is a close second but it's still absolutely amazing on it's own. Always served well cooked, well seasoned, and always well portioned. Food is a sight for sore eyes and always makes my mouth water. chicken katsu is crispy, flavorful, and colored perfectly. T Plus, is amazing and super great food. I have always enjoyed everything I have ordered there. They serve the entree on a huge bed of rice, with such delicious sauce! My favorite dish here is the Rib, it is out of this world, if you eat beef, this is so tender and delicious, reminiscent of korean Bar b que.. Kudos!! I also love their tempura, kebabs, both chicken shrimp and steak have eaten there for years, always outstanding. The Katsu is very good. They used to make a Tofu salad... also I love love loved. ( seasonal) My kids love it too. You can order larger orders like for your office if you give them a heads up beforehand. I order several and tell them the pick up time all is ready and no waiting. Came in during this Stay At Home order and they were open. They have a a lot of teriyaki dishes and also specials not on the menu. I ordered the Chicken Katsu. I wasn't expecting the portions to be so big! You get two big deep fried chicken breasts, salad, white rice and assorted deep fried gyoza, wonton and a onion ring. The Katsu was good but I feel the chef over fried mine. It left it dry and You could really taste the oil in the breading and the breading itself turned a dark brown. Their rice was very good I really enjoyed how it wasn't mushy or stuck together. Their teriyaki sauce seems more soy sauce based so don't expect a thick syrup like teriyaki sauce. I'll go back next time I'll ask them to go easy on the Chicken Katsu. As a side note I'd like to add that the salad got really hot in the container since it was with the Katsu and rice. I'd suggest putting the salad in a separate container or not getting it at all. Also Kudos to them for being open during this Wuhan virus outbreak. read more

I dont usually write a review.. but it was a horrible experience. I ordered 2 Tempura Plate and it was bad. It was not made to order and it looks and taste like a day old. I was not even looking for a high end tempura just good enough to satisfy some cravings, but this place was bad. It was my first time and I even planned on going back to try their terikayi but its not going to happen. This deserves a 0 star. read more

My go-to place if I am craving teriyaki! I usually order the Chicken Teriyaki with Beef Kabob plate and its so good! The meat is juicy and tasty! The portion is big too that one plate can be shared for two people. I have tried the yakisoba and it was good too! I always order for pick-up and its ready in 15 minutes. Stopped by Teriyaki Plus with a friend for lunch. It seemed pretty busy as we parked on the lot, but when we went into the restaurant, it was practically empty. I looked around the restaurant and noticed how it looks pretty clean with a decent sized fish tank. Looking at the menu, it seemed pretty simple on what to order since everything on the menu has pics. I decided to get a number 6 which has chicken, beef and prawn kabobs with chow mein instead of rice. I also brought my dog in the restaurant because it was too hot to leave her in the car, and the waitress stated they don't allow dogs, but quickly understood when I told her that she's my emotional support animal. After I ordered, I sat and waited for like less than 10 minutes until the food was ready. My first bite was the chicken and it was piping hot which burned my tongue because it was just grilled to perfection. I had to wait a few more minutes for it to cool down. The waitress was even kind enough to give my dog small chunks of beef as a treat. I had to save my food for later and took off. I like Teriyaki Plus and will be eating there again because I just moved back to my hometown of Chatsworth. Good food, clean restaurant and close proximity. read more

This is our go to place at least once a week... Keith is an amazing nice man, he is the owner and he is always greeting with a smile. My kids love their noodles. We had them cater for our kids Birthday party in January and everyone loved the food. Everyone asked where we got the food from.
