    Unagi bento
    Mimi N.

I will say, this is one of the more disappointing teriyaki places that I have visited so far in the North end of Seattle. Prices here are a tad bit higher than most places and the variety/options of food offered are pretty standard. With angry growling tummies for food, my mom and I stopped by here to try this place out. Ordered a unagi (eel) bento and a sauteed tofu dish with veggies. Verdict of both food: Too much salt. After making a few trips to get additional cups of water, I did find it a bit difficult to finish my meal without feeling parched. At a price of $14 for a simple bento (it's normally around $13, but for a dollar extra, you can upgrade from chicken to pork teriyaki), I didn't enjoy it too much. The pork teriyaki looked and tasted undercooked and lacked any real flavor to it other than the saltiness. As for the unagi rolls, the rice was cold and the fish wasn't too fresh. Salad itself was plain with barely any dressing (no yummy typical white/mayo sauce) and overall, a very disappointing dish. As for the tofu dish, the tofu itself was quite smushy and despite us requesting for the dish to be spicy, it turned out to be more salt than anything else. Upside to this restaurant: It's clean, free hot tea / water, and there are a variety of sauces / other things you can add to your dish. Wait time was a bit long and the parking lot out front is pretty limited. Perhaps my mom and I ordered the wrong things here but in comparison to the many other competing teriyaki joints in the neighborhood, I won't make another stop here any time soon.

Fairly small operation. One lady taking orders and what seemed to be only one guy cooking in the back. A bit weird for being right in the dinner rush but I do credit them for keeping up with orders called ahead and those of us in person. The teriyaki chicken was underwhelming. The "salad" was a few pieces of mixed lettuce. There was a thick bed of rice, which on one hand was nice but it also threw off the ratio of chicken to rice. I should have known better. All the Yelp pictures and reviews were really old. It'll fill the hole, but you can do better.

Food: I had one of the bento combos and it came with miso soup, a side salad, and a large dinner plate. The first thing that stood out to me was how much of everything came with the bento. On top of that, everything was very fresh and tasty. The dragon roll was also very good! Service/Ambiance: The staff here was very friendly. The restaurant isn't huge so I'd imagine it could get pretty packed during a lunch or dinner rush. There a few parking spots out front in the plaza, but also lots of street parking nearby. Price: For the quality and portions of the food, I would say this is a great value. The bento was around ~25 and the roll was ~18 which is pretty standard in 2026

The sushi bowls and rolls are huge portions and they tasted good, and I appreciate the warm sushi rice underneath (hate when it's cold). Finally, we were celebrating a birthday so we appreciated them bringing out a complimentary dessert and it was very cute having them play the birthday song on the speakers so the whole restaurant sang along! On the misses, the spicy salmon hand roll was extremely salty to the point where it was burning my tongue. The hot dishes like the salmon chanchan yaki and chicken teriyaki were bland and overcooked, didn't even want to bring leftovers home. And the sushi took FOREVER to come out, at least 15 minutes after the hot dishes, so be warned if it's busy. Parking is also very limited on site so that;s another warning if you're going during busy times.

To get your money's worth, my recommendation is to order all the meat you can eat to start with and leave out the veggies, appetizers, etc. to the end - you may not even want any of it by the time you're done with their meat selection. Also try their ice cream machine for dessert. Overall it's a great place to dine at and the staff are very friendly. There's plenty of parking on-site. Will definitely be back!

It's an all-you-can-eat with a coal grill, and you get 90 minutes once you're seated, so come hungry and ready to order. The staff was excellent super friendly, helpful, and quick with taking orders, clearing dishes, and swapping out the grill without us ever having to ask. For just $5 more, the premium menu is 100% worth it especially for the wagyu. Everything we tried was delicious, but our favorites were the wagyu cubes and the lollipop lamb chops. On top of that, they offer a salad bar, fruit/dessert, and a sauce station to round out the meal. The atmosphere was another highlight: modern, clean, and comfortable, which made the experience even better. The only downside is the time limit, but honestly, 90 minutes was plenty for us to enjoy everything. Overall, we loved our visit and will definitely be coming back!

Another gem in a great location!…read more I almost always crave Thai food and my favorite place in Seattle, Kin Lin, is not always the easiest to get a seat at come dinner time. My partner and I decided on this place because it was close to Green Lake which is a great location. The parking is a bit difficult because of the busy area but parking a few block away usually isn't that hard. Green Lake being so close was also a great thing because we needed to wait a bit for a table. They have a huge menu with many items I have not seen before. The service was also very quick and friendly. I opted to try their boat noodles which was very rich and very good. This was my first time trying boat noodles and I was very happy with this choice. The portion was also huge and I left very full with plenty of leftovers. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we will happily be back

Went for a dinner on a Sunday night around 8 PM and the spot was PACKED; we ended up waiting 20-30 minutes, so would definitely recommend a reservation if you're in a rush or want to eat during normal meal time. Whole Fried Pompano: The dipping sauce was incredible and the fish skin got a nice crispy crunch from being fried, but I was pretty confused by how to eat this dish. Maybe it was user error, but there were tons of bones and unlike with steamed fish, it was very difficult to remove them. In spite of the flavors and fresh herb accoutrements, I just can't recommend this due to the eating experience: Crab Claypot Noodles: Very minimal amount of crab, just 3 tiny bitty claws. It's mostly just thin, glassy noodles that in themselves were just okay from a texture perspective, I like a bit more of a chew. Very ginger forward and the flavors were not bad, but not anything special. Crispy Pork Belly, BBQ Pork, Pork Wontons, Onsen Egg Bha Mee Hang: The noodles and the gravy are a 5/5 bite, but unfortunately the protein was just okay. The skin on the pork belly was crispy, but both pork options ate very chewy / overcooked. Pork wontons were fine, but cold and I wanted them to be a bit fresher.

Their boba is soft, chewy and fairly decent. I tried their Saigon milk tea and it's good. They seem to make it fresh each time you order. I have tried their poke bowls only so my review would be mainly about their poke bowls. The available shops nearby is pretty limited so having a place that sells poke has been great. Their portions are adequate and the bowl comes with some sides already added like cucumber and edamame. The selections change slightly based on availability but pretty consistent. The place has small local shop feel and I like it the way it is. Not a flashy place but a good spot to try on your day off feeling lazy or too tired from studying.

I'm not trying to be harsh, but if you truly enjoy sushi, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Every roll we ordered was dry, especially the crab, which tasted old. None of us could even finish our food -- it was that bad. I've never had sushi that dry before. Even my roll with spicy mayo and seared salmon somehow had zero flavor. It was honestly shocking. Maybe we caught them on an off night, but unfortunately, we won't be returning.
