For to go sushi it was pretty good. My friends and I ordered pick up off of DoorDash. The place was a little small and had parking spots right in front for pick up. The service workers were nice and had the food prepared before I got there, it finished perfectly in time as what it said on the app. The cashier told me that next time I should order off of their own website instead of DoorDash because it's cheaper so I'll note that for next time, I checked and it seems to be true. The sushi was good, I especially liked the seared salmon nigiri. I believe that each piece comes with a different type of sauce and I wished I knew which was which, as I couldn't tell by looking at it. But I'm going to guess it's in the order it's listed on their menu. None of my friends and I liked the California dreaming, I didn't like it but my friends both didn't want a second piece. All of the other pieces were fine. Overall, I wouldn't choose to go back but if it was convenient I'd try it again. I think the price point isn't worth it and I'd rather just go to momiji. However, my bad for not ordering on their own website instead -- and I do really like the seared salmon nigiri set and would like to get my own order next time. I think giving it a 4 is a little too generous but a 3 seems too harsh when I ordered on the wrong website, so I'll round up until next time.
Giant rolls if you get the specialty supreme ones. Easily could be a meal. Also spicy chicken teriyaki was 5 stars. Only complaint is the side salad with meals is weird and random. Besides that, I would suggest giving it a try. The atmosphere and staff were lovely.

I was pretty disappointed by the dishes we ordered, especially considering the prices of them! The orange chicken bowl was nothing special. I think I could make the same thing (maybe better) using the frozen chicken from trader joe's! Similarly, the chirashi bowl was just alright. Fish is sliced very thin and the rice is quite hot so the fish was warm by the time we ate it. I do think this place is not quite worth the price, but would definitely be convenient for ordering online.

The rolls were drenched in sauce and I didn't particularly like any of the sauces. The best bite for me was the Negihama and seared salmon but even then I preferred the negi. After scanning the menu, I decided to get the rainbow roll and unagi nigiri. The rolls themselves are big but still a bit pricey for the amount you get; I would have to get multiple rolls in to feel full so that's something to keep in mind when ordering. The place seemed very clean and the staff was welcoming. I walked in and order to go and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. I stopped by in the evening on a weekend and parking was super easy and convenient!
This is a cute fast-casual Japanese restaurant in Greenwood. We've been a handful of times and have ordered rolls, sushi, hamachi collar, and the chicken katsu. While the rolls are good, they're a little pricey for the amount of food you get. I'd have to spend a lot to get full off the rolls. Instead, I recommend sticking with the the non-roll dishes. The hamachi collar is well seasoned, an the chicken katsu comes with curry sauce and is definitely a full meal.
I was craving sushi this particular Sunday evening. Kaiten and izakaya indoor seating are currently prohibited. My finances couldn't support an omakase splurge. Another neighborhood site was closed on Sundays. Plus I really did not want to go the supermarket sushi route. So I looked up what my options were via Yelp and I saw O Maki Rolls and Teriyaki listed in nearby Greenwood (1/3/21). Don't follow Google maps, because you can't access their three marked parking spots at the Piper Village business area. Heading southbound on Greenwood Avenue N, go past N 87th, take the next available right turn one way access driveway heading west, and go past Verity Credit Union. Read my Yelp tip or just park along Greenwood Ave N. It was my first onsite visit, so I did not order online or phone ahead. I noticed at least four others come in for immediate takeout orders. Smart pro tip move, especially with the parking slot situation. I was given a business card with a QSR code to view the menu for future orders. But for folks like me with an older smart phone, yeah good luck with that. Note this review does not cover teriyaki, poke, donburi bowls, or rolls...only a grilled special and nigiri. Nigiri is currently discounted as part of their January 2021 campaign. Normally a pair is $6, this month it's only $4. Of the three featured specials this evening, I opted for the grilled hamachi kama ($10), this came with a lemon wedge and ponzu sauce. I ate this with a little steamed rice prepared at home. This was a fairly decent serving, nicely grilled yellowfish collar, crispy skin and moist. For those where fish bones or eating with your fingers isn't an issue, this is for you! The nigiri I selected were 2 each/pair (usually $6, but this month only $4): hamachi/yellowtail, tuna, sake/salmon, and unagi. I didn't ask whether these were wild and sustainable, sorry. The nigiri portions were huge but unwieldly using the provided chopsticks. Some splash and disintegration of the sushi rice was experienced. Napkins and Kikkoman soy sauce packets were provided, same with standard pickled ginger and wasabi. Clean and well laid out shop for pandemic times...masked, social distancing marked floor, just takeout no indoor seating currently. Menu items are posted by the entrance and also above the front counter. Be sure to check the handwritten board for featured specials too. Friendly customer service. I didn't wait long for my onsite placed takeout order, but then I was occupied posting Yelp photos. This was a plentiful takeout order for one person. Decent menu selection, convenient and close to home. All items with tax and tip was just under $33. A nice find in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood.
Omaki serves Japanese fast food. I got the Teriyaki Chicken, they served it in a take out container. The chicken was nicely charred and juicy. Disproportionate amout of sauce on layers of chicken. Top had some, middle had none, bottom was swimming in it. They did give you a side of sauce. Sauce was sweet, a little salty, and very watery. The vegetables were disappointing. Hard, raw, plain and no flavor, the dressing gave it a little flavor, sweet and creamy. However, rice was cooked to perfection. The chicken to rice ratio was off, there was more chicken than rice. Overall I would give it a 6/10
This is a small place to pick up food quickly. They have sizable rolls, different rice bowls, hand rolls and more. It's a small place with seating for maybe 12-15 people total so not great for large groups. But good place to get food to go as they are quick. The taste is pretty good, would try some of the other rolls. It's hard to gauge freshness though since it is pretty saucy.

Great neighborhood sushi spot with the most huge rolls! It's ~$18 for an order of ~6 rolls and that is all you need, they're quite filling. I typically like the O Maki. Also offer the fruit shaped ice cream which is pretty fun. Takes a little long sometimes but ordering online is available! read more

I ordered th blazing flame roll and it looked nothing like the picture. The rolls were massive and it was a struggle to get them in my mouth. To top it off they were loosely rolled and fell apart before i could tey to stuff the massive thing in my mouth. At one point I thought I was going to choke. My fault there, mama always said don't take too big of a bite. Then came the gyoza, which were cold. Not cool, cold. Please step up your game. Get a qualified sushi chef who masters the roll and presentation. With the high price tag and the poor quality of the roll, I would have been better off going to Fred Meyer and getting grocery store sushi. read more

Delicious. My first time here and I'm blown away. The gyoza is extremely flavorful and the chicken is so juicy. Definitely doesn't taste like frozen meat. 5/5 I WILL be back. I got the Special Orange Chicken Bowl. read more

I'm lazy I don't usually write reviews if I am taking my time to write a review it mean something. That's talk about price I got a Chirashi bowl for $18. Very affordable. Nowadays chirashi bowl usually cost around $28-$35. Let's talk about food. It's very fresh. I'm surprise with how good of quality the fishes are. The sashimi itself is slightly thinner than the usual chirashi I get but look at the price $18 I think it's very reasonable. Consider everything is very expensive these days I don't blame them for doing that to keep the cost low. I actually appreciate it. My only complaint is there is eel sauce on top my rice. It's not what I expect from chirashi bowl. I will make sure to ask them not to put it on my chirashi bowl next time. But overall it definitely exceed my expectations. Service is amazing the lady was very patience with me. I was being a baby I call her twice to ask where to find the chirashi bowl....sorry I was so blind I really just can't find it lol she was so kind walk me through where to find it! She was so kind so warm and so friendly. I didn't expect this kind of service from a teriyaki place! Location is slightly hard to find but it's in one of the apartment building. There are plenty of pay parking out front. Overall had a great experience. I will be back read more

Taste: 4 Quantity: 5 Quality: 4 Service: 5 Price: 4 I really liked this spot. We ordered the takoyaki, ultimate, and omaki. I thought the accessibility to this place was pretty easy, staff was super nice, and turnaround time to get the order was pretty fast. I think they've got a great idea and business model... quality sushi that is fast casual. The only complaint I have is that I think they are slightly off in their pricing. Each roll was about $15, which to me are restaurant pricing. Even for those prices, I'm not going to go get that casually. If it's convenient and I'm in the area, I'll probably come back, but with the price per roll how it is, I don't think id go out of my way to spend more than $13/roll. That said, I think it's worth stopping in and trying. read more
My favorite sushi roll place near UW! Bit of a drive from campus but so worth it every time. None of their rolls have disappointed, and portions are very filling. Overall delicious, fresh, and has a variety of flavors to choose from! read more

YUMMMYYY does not begin to describe this place! I was ravenous yesterday and in the Greenwood area, on my way to Greenlake to read and rest by the water. I was so hungry and I had a sushi craving like you wouldn't believe, so I hopped online to find a nearby sushi spot. I went with this spot based on the reviews, and it did NOT disappoint! I would echo the other review I saw that mentioned to call or order in-person. If you use a 3rd party online ordering system, you really will pay about an extra $3 per roll. I ordered the Pacific (cooked creamy salmon, asparagus, topped w/seared salmon, masago, green onions, spicy sauce, sweet wasabi sauce), the Shrimp Tempura Roll (shrimp tempura, crab meat, avocado, cucumber, unagi sauce, sesame seeds), and the California Dreaming (crab meat, tamago, inari, avocado, cucumber, sesame seeds). I also asked for utensils & extra soy sauce and mmmm mmmm mmmmmm, did this place deliver! I only regret that I only got one decent photo because I inhaled all this sushi so fast! The sushi rolls are 5 and 6 pieces, but they are MASSIVE and packed. Not the small little standard rolls, but really thick, where it feels like you got 8 thinner slices' worth. It was so delicious, and total cost me about $30 (I called and ordered by phone). I was so pleased with it, and just finished my leftover like 2 pieces this morning for breakfast and nearly cried at how delicious it was. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The staff were attentive and great at what they did, the service was fast, and the sushi was phenomenal. I cannot wait to come back. read more

I love your food- but please- GET RID OF THE PLASTIC BAGS. I was charged $.15 for a paper bag but given plastic. Please look into using compostable or environmentally friendly take out packaging. read more

First time to tried this restaurant. I couldn't deside what to order so I ordered O maki roll. I'm a Japanese so I'm picky about fish. The roll was delicious. In this neighborhood there was a sushi roll mrestaurant couple of years ago but it last only about a year. Because their fish was fresh but rolls were so tiny felt too expensive. So, I was skeptical about O maki. But I was wrong. I love this restaurant! I definitely recommend. read more
Wow the rolls are huge. I was surprised when I ordered via phone the total for two rolls incl tax is $29. I thought that was an expensive lunch for a teriyaki place. Once I picked up my food I realize how big the rolls are. Each is about almost double of a typical roll. Four pieces In and I'm s already full. Next time for lunch I will just order one roll and try out some of their other items. The lady at the cashier was friendly and the place seem pretty busy w some dine in. The rolls ( Rock n Roll & Baby Spice) packed a lot of flavor and tasted fresh and oh so delicious. Would definitely come back to try more! read more

O Maki has a good selection on their menu and we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. I got two rolls and was surprised to see how big they were. Each piece was huge so it was a little hard to eat. However, the fish is good and the amount is filling so you definitely get your moneys worth. I think the prices are slightly below average for the Seattle region, which is great if you wanna grab some good sushi on a lower budget. read more
