This is my go-to lunch place near work! Their combos are generous size and made fresh- I have tried the larger combo too, it even comes with sushi. Love their beef and chicken combos. They normally have meat with option of rice or noodles(which are both good). They also have shrimp tempura and vege spring rolls too. MUST try!!!

    Deluxe bento with chicken teriyaki

Simple no frills, just good quick-service food place. Quiet place right off busy Broadway. Generous portions of chicken on the teriyaki bento, price is reasonable for the portions considering it's in this touristy area of NYC. Air-conditioned and has a bathroom.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in midtown, their $13 lunch special for beef or chicken teriyaki with veggies, lomein, white rice, or fried rice can't be beat for the value & large portion. But my favorite thing to get here is the spicy beef ramen. I have no idea what the seasoning is or why it's so savory and good but the spicy ramen comes with a heaping portion of quality beef slices and a delicious broth served with instant ramen noodles

My wife wanted some teriyaki chicken and this place is super close to the Times Square so we walked over to check things out. It's small but the food is super good. Not a Military friendly restaurant.

Happy to see a lunch restaurant pop up close to work, I went there to support the new business in our Pandemic-world and ordered Beef Teriyaki. it was 2/3 white rice and the "mix veg" was a tiny bit of cabbage, onion, and mushroom. nothing as their picture depicted. While I wish them success, and the dish was tasty, that was too skimpy of a serving. Perhaps they should have tiered pricing to reflect portion sizes.

Solid fast food take out (or sit in). Combo bento box was good but what you can't tell from the menu photo is the salad is instead a grilled warm veggie mix that was a delicious welcomed addition. Seating is plentiful on wooden seats and benches. The service is also super fast. As soon as I paid my food was freshly made on the spot and handed over before I could pick out a seat.

This is becoming a reliable for a quick and nostalgic (remember all those chicken teriyaki samples from the teriyaki joints in the mall?) lunch. I know exactly what to expect here.

Chicken bento ($9.49) with fried rice (+$0.50)

Teriyaki R Us (lol) is a pretty basic but good, Chinese fast food restaurant in Midtown/Times Square that predominately serves various teriyaki bentos and plates at affordable prices. The staff is helpful and work quickly to fulfill orders. For a weekday lunch, I ordered the chicken bento ($9.49) with fried rice (+$0.50). It's pretty solid for what it was - grilled fresh chicken teriyaki over basic fried rice with grilled cabbage/broccoli/carrot slaw, 2 shrimp tempura pieces, and 2 spring rolls on the sides. I've had better quality elsewhere, but not bad for a cheaper but still tasty work lunch option.

Quick, friendly service, good air conditioning, ambiance is like a diner with sounds of the food prep and other patrons. This was exactly what I was looking for, not overly inflated prices for Times Square. Sadly, the food was too greasy. Positive is: free ice cream for posting a review on yelp. Negative: only vanilla. Sadly, I am not a vanilla fan and so I gave my free scoop away.

Got the chicken teriyaki. Lots of meat, juicy and flavorful. Nothing bad to say about the food itself. The line can get a bit long during lunch hours, but the price is quite low for a Times Square location. Decent amount of seating, but not enough if everyone dines in.

Chicken Teriyaki Bento with White Rice, Shrimp Tempura, Spring Rolls
    Mike M.

This is a decent quick option if you're looking for something fast that isn't pizza or burgers. Friendly service. Order at the counter and you can take to go or stay. They have 7-8 large tables plus a few tables for 2, and stool seating in front. I had the Chicken Teriyaki. There are a few different meal/combo options and various proteins. I got the one that came with rice, veggies, 2 shrimp tempura and 2 small spring rolls. It was a large amount of food for around $14.99. Overall, it was tasty. Only complaint was the shrimp tempura was lukewarm and the spring rolls were cold. The Chicken and rice was hot and freshly made, so it's too bad the temps weren't consistent across the board. Solid place for a quick bite near Times Square or if you need a fast meal before a show that's an alternative from a chain fast food joint.

The pork soup dumplings arrived literally spilling pink/red liquid that looked like blood. My mother had never tried soup dumplings before, so we were hoping for a fun experience, but she immediately spit it out. I brought it back and showed the staff the uncooked pork and the blood/red liquid on the napkin. They simply re-steamed them and brought them back except now there was no soup left inside the dumplings at all. The chicken teriyaki was tough and chewy, almost like jerky, as if it had been overcooked on an extremely hot grill or deep fried too long. The spring rolls were mediocre at best, with vegetables inside that had a mushy, paste-like texture. Very disappointing. Honestly, the best part of the meal was the rice. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

The setup inside this dimly lit restaurant had a bunch of steam tables offering various beef and chicken dishes, a handful of rice options, and a bunch of salads/fruits. Having no idea what we were looking at, we asked the friendly owner for some advice. After some contemplation, two of us made a plate with all beef over some jollof rice, and another with basically all chicken items over a different type of flavorful rice. We knew it was too much, but our goal was to figure out what we would come back for. Honestly, I did not enjoy most of the chicken because it's sitting in steam trays getting overcooked. Not saying they were terrible, but it all fails in comparison to all the great beef offerings. OMG! You really can't go wrong with any of the beef dishes.
