Nothing special about this spot, it was good don't get me wrong but it tasted just like a regular mall's sarku Japan. I came on a weekend day and it was EMPTY lol. Plenty of seating. Only reason I came to this spot was because I needed something fast but i wouldn't recommend or come again due to the prices. I recently visited Teriyaki R Us, and I have to say this place hit the spot! I ordered both the chicken teriyaki and hubby the beef teriyaki, and each one was cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy, tender, and glazed with just the right amount of sweet-savory sauce. The beef was flavorful, slightly charred in the best way, and full of that grilled teriyaki goodness. Both plates came with a generous serving of fluffy white rice and fresh, crunchy vegetables that balanced the meal nicely. The portions are huge AND definitely enough to satisfy a big appetite (or to take home leftovers). Service was quick, friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Place is small but it had a nice neighborhood feel to it. If you're craving hearty teriyaki at a great price, this is definitely the spot. Sorta a 90s retro quick serve teriyaki place when teriyaki was newish and all the rage in North America. It's basically a fast food joint in a mall food court but in a restaurant (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Beats any of the other fast food burger joints IMO. You get decent food at a decent price especially in this area. Sure you could pay double or triple the price and have to line up at the ramen place next door. The staff is helpful and work quickly to fulfill orders. For a weekday lunch, I ordered the chicken bento ($9.49) with fried rice (+$0.50). It's pretty solid for what it was - grilled fresh chicken teriyaki over basic fried rice with grilled cabbage/broccoli/carrot slaw, 2 shrimp tempura pieces, and 2 spring rolls on the sides.
