    Hand rolled Papardelle

We just moved into the area and decided to stop by this quaint little restaurant, where we enjoyed an early dinner together on a Saturday night on the patio. Service was great, our hostess seated us right away, and our server brought us water right away. She gave us a few recommendations, which I love! Food was good overall. The best thing on the menu was the French onion soup; it was so good! I would come back for this! The burger fell flat; it was decent, but the server said that people come for lunch for the burger alone... The paprdelle was yummy and creamy. The salad was refreshing and crisp.

We specifically chose TerraTorry for their farm to table style dining and focus on local ingredients. The food was very fresh and they had a few good options for vegetarians. I looooved the flaming halloumi. They really put on a show for this! The waiter was very kind and helpful. He explained that their cocktails are low alcohol percentage because the liquor license only covers this. They were still really good and had a long selection of wines as well. I got the pasta dish with mushrooms which I loved! I loved the variety of mushrooms in the dish. My only complaint was that some of the mushroom chunks were huge and seemed to still have the chewy base of the stem on them. The desserts were good, with the chocolate chip cookies surprisingly being my favorite. Normally creme brulee is my go to dessert but this one tastes lighter than normal. Overall, it's a super cute spot. For nice nights, they even have a patio!

Last week, we tried the Dutch Baby Pancakes, Spicy Fish Tacos, and Flaming Halloumi here, and honestly loved everything. The restaurant has such a beautiful atmosphere, with so many artistic details that make the whole place feel really special. Every dish was presented so beautifully, and the flavors were just as amazing. On top of that, the service was excellent, everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Definitely one of those places we'd love to visit again!

We stopped by for brunch and were completely blown away. The fried chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The Fresh Market Chop Salad was incredibly fresh, colorful, and tasted like it had just come from the farmers market. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely made us feel at home. The beautiful atmosphere and attention to detail made the whole experience even more special. This place is a true neighborhood gem. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

I am a huge sucker for lemon ricotta pancakes and gourmet burgers. I saw that TerraTorry offered both and I could order them in the same meal, made this a instant visit for me. Unfortunately the meal fell very flat needs some improvment. We came at around 2pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was empty outside of one party who was eating outside. We also opted to eat outside since it was a nice day out. When we were seated at our table there was a coffee cup that was still dirty (coffee inside of it) that was still on the table. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. The Burger - We specifically asked for no crispy opinions on the burger and they arrived with them on it. The server said it wouldn't be an issue to remove them. So we spent the first portion of the meal picking off the onions. The burger had a fresh baked bun and high quality meat, you'd think this would be a good burger. But the bun was very hard on the bottom and dense, and did not have the spongyness you'd expect from a brioche bun. The meat was very underseasoned and tasted like someone just put some beef with little salt of seasoning on a grill and cooked it. Yes, the meat taste of quality beef, but it lacked the preperations to make the patty flavorful. The fries would have been good except they had too much rosemary on them. They were a great crispyness and thickness but the rosemary was not needed. Then the fries came with guacamole type dipping sauce. Dipping fries in a guacamole seemed like an off combination and an aioli would have been much preferred. The lemon ricotta pancakes do not come with syrup. So be warned. They do come with a little bit of amazing jam though. The jam is really good, there is just not enough of it. We shared one pancake each, and it was hard to divide so little jam. When lemon ricotta pancakes are done right you don't even need syrup. These lacked a truly strong lemon flavor which is what I wanted to taste. They also were surprisingly thin and lacked any cake like consistency or flavor. I think that TerraTorry could easily turn this business around with a small little adjustments with their recipes. They do use quality ingredients here just need to perfect their cooking techniques and receipe. **Edit**: After seeing the comment left from management, I will revise my review by adding additional information. I dined here on July 2025, not on December 6th, 2025, as presumed. The pictures are accurate of what I have eaten and my experience at the establishment. I am happy to hear that they have removed the pancakes from their menu and no longer serve the burger this way, because in my experience their previous burger wasn't that good.

TerraTorry is a wonderful addition to Santa Monica. The food is excellent, with French influences throughout the menu, and the service is consistently warm and attentive. The flaming halloumi is both fun and delicious--a must-order. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the food and overall experience make it worth a visit.

(06/21/25) I haven't even left yet, that's how good the food is! Went for Saturday/weekend brunch and had the TerraTorry Breakfast with over easy eggs (nice and runny but not undercooked at all), smoked bacon (perfectly crispy without being even a tiny bit burnt), smashed potatoes (warm on the outside and warmer on the inside), piece of toast with a side of butter and the best name I have EVER had, as well as the Buttermilk & Vanilla Waffle which normally comes with brulee'd banana (but I'm allergic so I substituted for strawberry's), whipped honeycomb butter and maple syrup (but I also highly recommend using the jam on the waffle) and it was one of the best waffles I've ever had! Our server was very friendly and the dinning area as well as outdoor seating is absolutely lovely for a summer's day.

Me to my friend: do I need to take my phone to the bathroom? Friend: (serious face) YES! Say no more, lol Came here after looking for a cute spot to celebrate her braces taken off that day, lol. The yelp reviews were in point, this place is a whole experience. Parked down the street, and seriously happy with EVERYTHING. Jessica was our waiter. We sat inside but then asked to be moved outside. The decor is MAGNIFICENT. We felt as if we were in France. The food was fresh and you can taste it in every bite!!!! The service was upscale and relax. The music was a perfect touch, excellent selection at the right volume. This place is crafted for an outstanding experience in every single way. Even the smallest details were curated to be unforgettable. EXTREMELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Go and thank me later!!!!

TerraTorry is a new favorite for us! Charming little farm-to-table restaurant with an ever evolving menu - we've been wanting to try them for a while and finally had a child-free opportunity to check them out. We sat outdoors and the only downside was the lack of space heaters and the fact that most diners were inside so it was easy for the staff to keep getting caught up with them and forgetting to make their way outside. Fortunately, it wasn't too cold the night we were there, and we had plenty of time. When we had our server's attention, he was very friendly with many helpful suggestions. The look of the place is charming, and we loved the music they were playing over the speakers - more big band and jazz as opposed to the pop or synth you hear in so many other restaurants. We ended up ordering a bit too much and ran out of stomach space for dessert. Here's what we got: - Mussels: These were delivered to the table in the Dutch oven they were cooked in, and they tasted as good as they smelled when the lid came off. The broth was curried and just mildly spicy and sopping it up with the piping hot baguette it came with was the most satisfying experience for a mildly chilly evening. The mussels were tasty but the meat was disappointingly on the smaller side despite the shells being fair sized. I would totally get this again, and I think our kiddo would love it. - Kashk-e bademjoon: This is apparently the chef's mother-in-law's recipe, and it is a must get. Better than any other eggplant dip I've had at a Persian restaurant. It is served warm with hot puffy pita bread, and between this and the mussels I've had more carbs than I have in months, but it is so worth it. The fermented yogurt and mint add a depth of flavor, and the crispy onions on top bring a nice texture contrast. We are definitely getting this again. - Terratory burger: This is the one dish I would take a pass on in the future. While there was nothing objectionable about it, it just didn't have much flavor and lacked the write-home quality all the other dishes were imbued with. - Chilean salmon: The fish was outstanding. It was well cooked with a perfectly crispy skin that my daughter would have loved along with the sprinkling of chives. The bed of beluga lentils it was served on was creamy and heartwarming, and it was hard to stop eating this even when I was full. We will have to come back another time to try more dishes and get dessert!

Stopped by Terratorry in Santa Monica for happy hour and came away pretty impressed. The happy hour prices are actually pretty reasonable for the quality of food and drinks you're getting. My favorite dish of the night was easily the Cove Mussels. They came in a curry-based sauce that was absolutely delicious, and you'll definitely want some bread to soak up every last bit of it. The Kashk-e-Bademjoon was another standout and probably one of the most visually impressive dishes we ordered. We also tried the Spring Artichoke, Flaming Halloumi, and Spicy Tuna Tostada, all of which were solid and showed a lot of attention to detail. As for drinks, the Rosemary Mirage was my favorite. Tasty, refreshing, and presented beautifully like most of the cocktails we saw coming out of the bar. Overall, a great happy hour spot with quality food, creative drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

I dined her with a few girlfriends and will be bringing my Husband back. The poke was really good, the pancakes (chefs kiss), and the salads!! So many options and but some of my favorites were the many juice and tonic creations! The owner was so pleasant and warm!

The experience at TerraTory was such a lovely surprise as it was my first time dining! The warmth of the service down to the exceptional quality of the food provided a memorable moment. Everything was so yummy and loved the ambiance. The grain bowl and spicy fish tacos were my favorite! I'm going back with friends soon because of the great time I had. Extra plus that it's by the beach and you can walk off your food afterwards.

If we sit indoors, is it too noisy for normal conversation?

Not really. There aren't that many tables inside and they're nicely spaced. I guess it could be noisy if you get next to some rowdy group, but I have been inside a few times and never had a problem.

Everything was so flavorful! I really enjoyed every dish we got! If I had to choose some absolute favorites it would be the salad and the ratatouille! Both were incredible ( along with everything else). Finished the meal off with the pear dessert and a glass of port. Yummy! Great meal with family! Friends rave about the decadent bone marrow aioli burger, so we wandered in just before 6pm on a saturday night and nabbed 2 seats at the bar. It was a wildly busy night on Main Street, due to World Cup, which made Pasjoli a bit quieter, since (fortunately) without TVs people were flocking to the places with TV. The bartenders were both super congenial and indulged our curiosity for how they made the drinks (even sharing the recipe for one of the choose your own cocktails...seriously delicious, balanced and overpriced at $25). The $28 burgers arrived and we each opted for our own $8 side of fries, since who wants to share fries! At $28 should it come with fries or a salad or a pickle...perhaps. So I guess it's ok to charge for the fries (it seems most places do). However to charge and extra dollar for an aioli dipping sauce for the fries seems a bit petty. Maybe one free dipping sauce with each order of fries. Was the burger worth $28, absolutely, it was rich, melt in your mouth, with some magical onions, on a bun that contained it all neatly, but not oversized (so you don't end up with more bun than meat). Would I return for this burger and rave to my friends. Yes. I needed something green and had a side order of green beans in a hot honey and almond sauce, which didn't really "go-with" the burger, so I'd like to see some other burger-friendly, small veggie thing on the menu... although the burger was so filling, not sure I'd even bother ordering veggies anyway. No room for dessert, but I recall their cheesecake being stellar.

By the time our food finally arrived, we were absolutely starving. My burger was tasty, but unfortunately the fries were cold. When I mentioned it, they kindly offered to make a fresh batch. I appreciated that, but the replacement fries didn't arrive until I was almost finished with my burger, so it didn't really improve the meal. To their credit, they removed my burger from the bill, which was a thoughtful gesture and appreciated. Still, the entire situation could have been avoided with better timing from the kitchen. Based on this experience, I would most likely not return.

Had a good lunch at Petit Trois recently!…read more I made a reservation a couple days beforehand for Monday at noon and there was plenty of availability. Parking is either valet or street parking. We got lucky with a metered spot just a block away. It was a holiday so it was free. The restaurant seating is split into two sides, with a bar in the middle. There's also some outdoor patio seating, but since the patio directly faces the busy Ventura Blvd, I think it should be pretty loud with the car traffic. We had a baby in a stroller with us, so when I made the reservation I requested a table with more space around it. We were seated on the right side, where there was plenty of room between tables. In addition to the all day menu (which is available on their website), they offer some lunch specials with salads/sandwiches as well as a lunch prix-fixe menu for $44. To start, we shared the chicken liver mousse ($17). I also shared the prix-fixe menu as well as the duck confit ($36) with another person. The prix-fixe menu offers your choice of salad, entree, and dessert. We got: roasted beet salad, steak frites, chocolate mousse. I wasn't the biggest fan of the chicken liver mousse. It was extremely salty and comes as a THICK layer on the toast, so there wasn't enough bread to eat with it. I ate a little bit and brought the rest home to use it as a spread. I had some the next day and it's much better when it's spread as a thin layer on toast. The prix-fixe menu was good value and comes with plenty of food between the three courses. The beets were super fresh, though I personally found the flavor a bit too tangy. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and came with a LOT of fries. And the chocolate mousse with all the crunchy chocolate chips was a great way to end the meal on a sweet note. The duck confit was probably my favorite entree of the meal though. It was very flavorful and the outside of the duck was crispy. I also really enjoyed the thin sliced potatoes that came with it, as they had soaked up all the flavors in the juice and were delicious! My other friend is vegetarian, and there wasn't a ton of options for him, unfortunately. He could choose between pasta or an omelette. He got the pistou pasta for $28, which I tried a bit of and was surprisingly tasty. I completely blanked on this since the menu didn't mention pesto, but all the ingredients listed essentially add up to pesto, so it was a simple pesto pasta. Despite not having any protein, I found it super tasty and the pesto really fresh.

We came for brunch. I recommend making reservations as this is still a busy place. We came early…read moreso I was able to score a last minute reservation but you should plan ahead - brunch is popular here. We got a lovely table outside. Coffee was good, strong and refilled often. The service was good but a little slow - again, they get busy. Everyone talks about the omelette and it IS good and also really beautiful. After a few bites though, it's a bit too much. A better idea may be to get the Omelette Petit Trois and share it for the table. It's also $29, which isn't crazy but is still a bit much for eggs. Even really pretty ones. My friend had the Croque Madame. It was also a gorgeous plate and he said it was, as expected, quite good. It was also $30. Both of these dishes come adorned with a sparsely dressed pile of lettuces. Very French, no? While the food was good, I don't know that this was worth the over $70 for brunch (with no alcohol) price tag. It's sure to impress your Francophile friends and I'm guessing it's very authentic. For me, it was a nice brunch but not special enough between the food and service to justify the prices.

The peach burrata was excellent, though the basil leaf on top didn't seem quite as fresh as the rest of the dish. The butter pasta for our toddler was simple but very well done. Our son absolutely loved it and happily finished a good portion. The fish was the biggest surprise of the night -- perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The duck leg was tender, rich, and full of aroma, with meat falling right off the bone. For dessert, the banana dessert was outstanding and a perfect ending to the meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great food and a family-friendly atmosphere. We'd happily come back.

The service was absolutely on pointe thanks to Kaiya, Teri, and Randy. Warm, polished, attentive, and just the right amount of fun. Hubs and I split everything, which was the right move because this meal was rich, delicious, and very filling. We started with the baguette bread service, which is an additional charge but 100% worth it. The bread, salted butter, and mixed berry spread were pure France in a basket. Next up was the French onion soup, and wow. Cheesy, full of flavor, with a beautiful broth that somehow managed to be rich without being too salty. Perfection. Then came the Big Mec burger, as seen on Food Network's top burgers -- and yes, it absolutely lives up to the hype. Definitely enough for two. Perfectly seasoned patties, melty cheese, a fresh brioche bun, and that bordelaise sauce bath underneath? Flavor-forward, decadent, and unforgettable. We rounded out the meal with a slice of French toast because apparently we make excellent life choices. Also delicious, also worth sharing. This was not just lunch -- it was an experience. Will I go back? Absolument! Next up: dinner.

As soon as we sat down, there was a lovely handwritten card on the table wishing me a happy birthday. Our server was Jeovanny, who was so attentive, had a great sense of humor, and shares the same birthday as me. He had a professional spiel about the menu, and him and the entire team (including chef Fardad) went above and beyond in their service. Veal bonbons to start were great, with a delicious sauce to complete the dish. Tomatoes with cherries and champagne were peeled and bright and refreshing. Tomato risotto was one of the best I've ever had, with al dente rice cooked perfectly, topped with delicious straciatella. Rack of lamb was beautifully cooked and paired perfectly with pomme pavé. Then, the star of the show -- Vanilla St Honoré. I get why this is named after the patron saint of bakers - it really was that good. Each profiterole dipped in a satisfying crunchy caramel, and I couldn't imagine a better birthday dessert. That's the work of Nikdad, Chef Fardad's brother- he should open a pastry shop! To top it all off, Geovanny handed me another handwritten birthday card, and was sent home with an adorable pink box of raspberry macarons. If that's not above and beyond, I don't know what is. On our way out, we even saw Chef/owner Fardad cleaning up a table as the restaurant only got busier and busier as the night went on. That's a leader who leads by example. Every single person, from the valet to the hostess to the person filling our water cups to Geovanny and of course Chef Fardad - truly and deeply cared about their job. And that's rare these days. Wishing Muse all the success, because they truly deserve it!

However, because portions were quite small for the price, it made the meal feel very expensive for what you receive. The service was attentive to the point of being overwhelming. In such a small restaurant, waitstaff were constantly refilling glasses and checking on us every few minutes, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal. I also had a frustrating experience with my reservation. I contacted the restaurant by both phone and message to make a change. A man told me it wasn't possible due to their policies, so I ended up canceling another commitment. Then, about an hour later, a woman from the restaurant informed me that the change could have been made easily. By that point, I had already rearranged my plans unnecessarily. Overall, the food was good, but the pricing, overly attentive service, and inconsistent communication regarding reservations left me with a mixed impression.
