I had to charge my car and figured might as well check out the famed Tesla diner while I do that. The building was futuristic, reminiscent of something you'd see at Tomorrowland at Disney. Although most of the service was self-service, the workers were very kind. The food was okay, nothing wrong with it, just overpriced for what it was. Definitely a cool spot to check out if you haven't been before
We stopped by the Tesla Diner and loved the futuristic vibe. The giant TVs were the highlight, especially watching the World Cup from the upstairs seating with free popcorn. The lighted staircase looked awesome, the Optimus robots in the windows were a cool touch, and the Cybertruck to-go boxes made great souvenirs. The milkshake was just okay, and everything felt a bit overpriced for what you get. Still, it's a fun experience and a nice spot to hang out, even for folks in the area who got to enjoy the big screens.
As a huge Tesla fan, I've wanted to check out this place ever since it opened. I watched plenty of reviews beforehand, so I already knew the food was expensive and kept my expectations realistic. I mainly came for the atmosphere, the experience, and to take some photos. I like that they're open 24/7. I originally wanted to visit during the day, but traffic and a concert made that impossible. We arrived just before 11 pm. after the concert, and the restaurant was almost empty. Since we rented a gas car, we parked on a nearby residential street just one block away, which was easy that late at night. While we were taking pictures outside, someone drove by, rolled down his window, yelled an insult at us, and sped off like a coward. However, it didn't ruin my day. The food is definitely expensive. I ordered the Tesla Giga Burger and fries. They were good, but not worth the price in my opinion. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a sleek, futuristic design. I tried to bus my own table but couldn't find a place to leave my tray, and a staff member told me to just bring it to the counter. We got here too late and they turned off the movie right at 11 pm. The merch sale also ended at 11 pm. I couldn't come all the way here without getting some Tesla Diner exclusive merch. Even though the employee on the second floor looked like she was getting ready to go home, she still helped me purchase some merch and even gave us the remaining popcorn from the machine. Overall, I enjoyed the experience more than the food. I'd definitely come back during the day if I'm ever in the area again, and I hope they open more locations around the country.
The drive down to Tesla Diner itself was cool. I mean it's Hollywood! The entrance to the diner was a bit confusing tho. We ended up getting navigation to the West side which is the Tesla charger parking but the real entrance to the diner is in the East side which is the opposite. Once we figured that part out it was easy We found the diner soon as we found an open Tesla charger. Looking up there's a huge tv screen playing the launching of SpaceX which my husband wanted to see. It was the countdown and really cool to watch Also what's really cool is that if you're driving a Tesla or Cybertruck, you can preorder thru the menu from your car and you'll get notified when they're going to start making your orders. The downfall of this is that there's no confirmation numbers. Just your name, so when we entered the Diners it looked nearly empty except for a few staffs. The cashier asked us if he can take our orders. My husband replied we already ordered. The staff looked confused until my husband explained that we ordered online. Then the cashier asked for his name and found the orders. We were then told to wait around the corner for our food. Once our food arrived we made our way upstairs with our dog, Peanut. Did I mention they're dog friendly? They did not have any water fountain or treats for dogs but I saw several people with their pooch. Luckily we brought our own water container for our Peanut. I was expecting to get greeted or get our food or at least popcorn being served by the AI robot but instead it was off and on display behind a glass. How disappointing. I saw 2 of these robots. There were stairs up to the second level but we took the elevator. We then found a table and it was like a picnic bench with umbrellas. I used the restroom which was very modern and clean. Thanks for that! Ok you're wondering when am I going to get to the food part right? Well I saved that for last being that the food was mediocre for the high price we paid. It was a $13.50 single patty burger without fries and a $9 hard and dry grilled cheese sandwich. The cheese was lukewarm and turned solid by the time we got it. Nonetheless it was cool to check this place out at least once. I recommend it but I would not order food from here in the future. Perhaps if they had Cobb salad or chef salad, chicken fingers or crispy fried wings with fries for about $15 then yes. Oh we also bought a black bandana with a Tesla dog mode logo on it for Peanut and put it on him right away. Someone stopped us and ask for Peanut's photo wearing the bandana hehee... Our mutt might become a star? Idk but one can only hope lol
Came here on a Tuesday evening, not crowded at all. You can only park there if you are charging your vehicle (doesn't have to be Tesla). $0.5 per kWh and 30 min grace period before idle fee applies. There are security guards at the parking lot. The building itself is cool, the interior is very futuristic. The food & drink are not bad, but some items are a bit pricy in my opinion. $14.5 for a milk shake. About $17 for a fried chicken sandwich that does not come with fries/drink. Upside is they give you free popcorn on the rooftop and free short movies (about 11min-25min). They also sell Tesla merchandises. $65 for salt & pepper shakers, $50 for a robot figure, $35 for a t-shirt, gummy candies, $175 for a levitating cyber truck desk decor.

Upon arriving, we had NO idea the location is kind of random for this diner. If you were not looking for it, you would not even know its the Tesla diner. There were ample supercharging stations around the diner and huge TVs above playing black and white films. We charged our car and checked out the diner. The diner felt very futuristic. Very sleek and modern design. The menu was filled with typical diner food such as burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. We didn't order anything because it was too pricey. We also checked out the second floor rooftop which was nice and airy. You can enjoy some air, see your car charge, and watch the movie on the big screen. Overall interesting concept, but not really a spot I see spending that much time at. It's definitely more of a pistop than a destination. Fun to experience though!
I love stopping at the Tesla Diner when driving through town. Love the futuristic design both inside and out. Really cool Cybertruck design details inside along with Optimus versions. You can't miss it when driving by. There are a ton of supercharging spots, never had a problem getting one and never had a malfunctioning one. The inside of the diner is spacious and plenty of sitting. You can also buy exclusive merch near the entrance which I definitely took advantage of. The food is very tasty and I can tell the quality of the ingredients. The burgers are my favorite in combination with the chocolate shake. One of the top 3 milkshakes I've had. Employees have all been great in my experiences and they do a good job keeping the place clean. There's also security outside which is nice if you're here at night since it is open 24/7. All in all, a great place to visit!
So this is a cool retro futuristic diner concept that unfortunately did not catch on more broadly but it's still a neat pilgrimage to make if you have a Tesla! Plus, it is a cool place to catch a charge as they have a big screen, showing things like Star Trek and other cool movies The food is decent enough, and though it is a bit on the expensive side, that's not really the main reason why I came here anyway. The people that work there are cool and service was decent. Overall, it was a pretty cool novelty and I'll come back again if I'm in the area.
FOOD - Tesla Giga Burger: the patty was juicy and flavorful. 4/5 - Falcon Wing Fried Chicken Sandwich: the chicken was fried perfectly. The sauce was good. 4/5 SERVICE: You can order from your car. You have the option of having the food delivered to your car. I was told the robots serve and make the food but this is not true. The robots are displayed in cases. FINAL THOUGHTS: I would come back. The food was pretty good. The burgers come in a cybertruck box which I thought was so cute! There's 2 huge screens to watch a movie while you dine and/or charge.
We came here on a Saturday afternoon and honestly thought it was a pretty cool spot overall. It actually wasn't too crowded when we went, which made the experience more enjoyable. We ordered a chicken salad, a burger, and chicken strips. I personally had the salad and really enjoyed it. Didn't try the other food, but everyone seemed happy with what they ordered. The food came out in these cool cyber truck containers which was fun and added a little extra pizzazz to the experience. The vibe here is definitely unique and worth checking out at least once. We went upstairs and explored a bit, and I could definitely see this being a fun place to come back to for a movie night or just to hang out while charging. Speaking of charging, I loved seeing all the Tesla chargers set up here. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the free popcorn. It honestly tasted kind of stale/gross, so I'd skip that next time. Other than that, I thought the concept was fun, the atmosphere was nice, and overall it was a good experience.
Had the double Giga Burger with the Wagyu chili cheese fries on the side. The burger was solid. Two juicy patties, good flavor, and stacked without feeling sloppy. It definitely leans into that classic diner style but with a more upgraded feel. Filling without being overdone. The Wagyu chili cheese fries were probably my favorite part. Crispy fries loaded with rich chili and plenty of cheese, and the Wagyu added a nice extra depth of flavor. Definitely something you need forks for. The whole place has a modern retro diner vibe that makes it stand out from a normal burger spot. Futuristic looking as well. Clean setup, fun atmosphere, and the staff kept things moving even when it was busy. Overall, a cool experience and better food than I expected. Worth checking out at least once.
Was pleasantly surprised with my experience here! Came at 6:30pm on a Sunday evening. Parking lot is for EV only, but there are a ton of street parking right next to the lot entrance, found a spot asap. It was surprisingly very low crowd, it felt like a weekday. We explored a bit, and hung out on the rooftop where movies are played on the big screens. Plenty of seating, staff is constantly available and ready to help/clean. For food, we got a spicy chicken sandwich, fries, + drink/souvenir cup for $28. It was honestly REALLY good! I was tempted to get the Tesla box for $4, but the sandwich already comes in one! We spent a nice hour here and it was a fantastic time.
My favorite part was watching The Jetson while I ate my food on the rooftop. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and cheese fries. The customer service was good and everyone was helpful. I love the ambiance is very futuristic and modern (less is more). The Tesla boxes for food are soooo cute Would I come again, maybe but I'm not pressed or rushing.

We stopped by the Tesla Diner in July to grab the limited edition metal souvenir cups that came with the purchase of a regular fountain drink. It's really all about the futuristic atmosphere and the overall experience rather than the food. We weren't charging the car this time, so we parked on the street which actually wasn't too difficult to find. I love the Cybertruck inspired food boxes as they're such a fun detail and fit the theme perfectly. The giant outdoor screens are also really cool. Since the World Cup matches were still on, there was a big crowd gathered to watch which made the whole place feel lively and added to the experience. As for the food, it's exactly what you'd expect from a diner. Nothing overly fancy, but it was good and reasonably priced for West Hollywood. The food complements the experience, and that's really what makes this place worth visiting. If you're looking for a unique spot with a fun atmosphere, it's definitely worth checking out! read more

I've always passed the Tesla Diner when some game is playing on the big screens or just to charge, never to eat. Food is served 24/7 but the dining room closes at midnight. I'm not too sure when the Skypad is open or closes too, but it wasn't open this Friday around 11:00PM. Service is minimal, you walk in, order on a tablet, and wait for a text to get your order from the pickup counter. We both got Tesla Giga Burgers and they come in these cute cybertruck boxes, but unfortunately these burgers were dry and wet. The patties were smashed and burned to oblivion that it brought tears to my eyes to swallow from it scratching and refusing to go down my throat. Getting to the middle, there actually were some nice juicy bits, but for $13.50 it felt like there were 3 bites of a real burger. The fries are standard, not crispy on the inside and not soft on the inside. Usually I see something playing 24/7 but today there was nothing? But chargers are very fast, there's some futuristic spacey music playing and it's a fun place to visit! Parking is only for charging teslas and is really fast. read more

Overall experience was awesome. Me and my family were greeted by friendly staff members. The place has tons of chargers. It also has a huge screen outside the diner and you can watch eat while waiting for your car to be charged. We bought some souvenirs as well. As far as the food it was pretty good. Their chicken sandwich is so good and delicious. read more

We came right after a heavy breakfast nearby and fully intended to just look around while charging our Tesla. That plan lasted about five minutes. The kids saw the place and immediately ordered waffles and chia seed pudding as breakfast round two -- zero regrets. At the risk of dating myself, the whole futuristic interior felt straight out of The Jetsons -- futuristic in the best possible way. The robots were such a hit with the kids, and every detail felt playful and thoughtfully designed. From the self-serve ordering kiosks to food arriving in little Cybertruck-shaped paper boxes (adorable), the whole experience had this "future diner" magic. The kids were obsessed. Honestly... so were the adults. The rooftop/balcony dining area was another surprise highlight -- complimentary popcorn while watching cartoons on giant screens? Such a fun touch. It somehow feels nostalgic and futuristic at the same time. And maybe my favorite detail of all: the diner menu popped up on our Tesla screen right when we plugged in to charge, with a cute little burger icon at the bottom of our screen. That seamless integration was just ridiculously cool. This is so much more than a gimmick or novelty stop -- it's genuinely a blast, especially with kids. Yes the food itself is a bit overpriced, but great energy, clever details everywhere, and an experience unlike anything else.... read more
I'll give it a 4 star just for the cool novelty of the place. It's a great place to charge the car and also get some cool drinks and food delivered to your car. The diner itself is fun and has a couple robots to looks at while you're there. 2 giant screens are mounted on the buildings across so you can watch their shows while you eat if you'd rather eat in the diner instead of the car. I've even heard that they sometimes show movies, but just watching the SpaceX launch was cool enough on their amazingly clear screens. read more
This is a fun Tesla Supercharger Diner. Lots of chargers here on premise. The diner also serves food. Nice to has this in LA. I did not try the food but was told they do serve food 24/7. For after hours food order, the diner is closed for dine-in but the staff will bring your food to your car when you start your charging. For Tesla owners, charging her will earn you a Tesla Diner badge on your Tesla app I. The charging badge section. Was in the area, feeling hungry, and fuel near emptied. Set destination to Tesla Diner while on the road, system preconditions my car to prep for fast charging and the Tesla Diner menu pops up on my Tesla screen with option to pre-order my meal prior to arrival (how cool is that!). Parking lot is only for Tesla charging vehicles, with additional charging stations around the corner (but walkable path). If you don't drive a Tesla or don't need charging, looks like you'll have to find street parking because you can't park in the diner parking lot if your car is not charging. The burgers and fries are packed so cutely in little Cybertruck paper boxes. Despite the food looking dry and unappealing in the photos, the flavor is quite good, for every single item we tried. The service is excellent, and they are willing to customize your order to accommodate for food allergies, even showed me a printed chart when I inquired. You can first place an order on the kiosk then immediately speak to an employee informing that you need the order customized, and they will gladly accommodate. Lovely interior design and architect, clean restrooms, enjoyable visit. Looks like a popular tourist destination stop too, I see international tourists being dropped off by private vans on the street and picked up after dining. I would definitely swing by for a bite if in the area next time, or recommend out-of-town guests to pay a visit when enroute to other destinations. read more
If you don't have a Tesla you'll need to do street parking since their lot is only for Tesla drivers who are charging. I didn't have much expectations going in but I was super surprised at the details and how futurist it felt inside. The space was spotless and you can really tell the workers paid attention to detail when cleaning. As for food I don't usually like smash burgers but his is one of the best ones I've ever had. The Tesla Giga Burger was surprisingly good and so was my strawberry matcha with oat milk. The only downside? Those two items cost over $29 (with 15% gratuity). I had to charge my car and I was in the area so why not stop by. The parking lot surrounding the diner is pretty cool with two large movie screens for people to watch from their cars while charging. The actual diner is future retro looking with counter seating and booths. Order from the kiosk or from your car and pick up your food inside when your number is called. The Giga Burger is grass fed prime smashed flat with caramelized onions and pickles with lettuce and American cheese. I had the electric sauce, which is like a spicy thousand island, on the side. I should've made it a double. So tasty. The strawberry matcha wasn't anything special but it was good too. Tesla or not, you gotta try this place at least once. read more

Highly recommend adding the Tesla Diner to your LA tour list! They sell merch on the top floor and have very futuristic stariways and even the Tesla Generation Robots to look at on your way up. They even give out free popcorn on the top. We ordered the Tesla Giga Burger and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Both were delicious!! We did end up buying a t-shirt and a Tesla diner take-out cyber truck box. The service is really good too! Everyone is very nice and understood our excitment when entering the diner. read more

While your car is charging, it's the perfect time to step inside and take a break. Both the exterior and interior blend strong high-tech elements, and the space design feels cinematic. Especially with a row of charging stations outside, it gives you that unique vibe of "your car is charging while you're dining in the future," making it perfect for photos. You can order food either from your car or via the iPads inside the restaurant. The menu sticks to classic American casual fare--burgers, fries, milkshakes, and the like. The taste is pretty standard--not amazing, but definitely not bad. The pricing is more about the overall experience, so you're really paying for the atmosphere and concept. There are a few robots mounted on the walls, and on weekends, robots on the second floor even hand out popcorn . With two massive screens playing movies, it's a super photogenic spot. We were quite surprised with this find. We wanted to check it out just for Optimus and free, popcorn, and the vibe but we honestly had one of the best burgers that we've had in a really long time + a tasty chicken sandwich. I know I shouldn't compare this to in and out burger but we just had that night before and watched airplanes land, but the food was far superior here. It was also double the price. Honestly, you can say what you wanna say about Tesla and this Tesla diner, but there's no doubt about it. The whole experience is unique and very cool. Tesla brought back an old school memory by having a drive-in type of experience while you're charging your electric vehicle. There are many other electric cars other than Teslas here so I'm pretty sure you can also charge your EV is here as well that doesn't fall underneath the Tesla family. I would recommend pulling around to the front charger if you can, if anything is available because that's when you can actually see the view of the diner, watch movies, pick up food easily, and enjoy in your car. I made the mistake by parking at the back charger so I didn't really see too much and had to walk a little bit to go all the way to the front. I ended up ordering some Tesla Gummies, and just some fries. While I was waiting for my gummy's, I noticed that there was a whole upstairs deck that you're able to take a seat and enjoy the movie. While I was sitting there, I had an employee come up to me and offer some popcorn while I was watching the movie. My overall experience with the staff, diner and charging experience was definitely unique and enjoyable. read more
Not a Tesla fan but I am a fan of this charging station and diner. We needed to charge your car after a late night hockey game before driving home out of town. We found this charging station since we have an adapter we are able to charge here. They have a drive-in movie to watch while you were charging your vehicle as well as a diner. The diner is a futuristic theme that reminds me of tomorrowland in Disneyland. It is very clean you can order via tablets and go have a seat. They'll text you when your order is ready. We ordered a side of fries which were crispy and freshly made, and the breakfast tacos, which were full of flavor and very delicious. This staff was friendly and the restrooms are clean. Definitely recommend this stop if you need to charge and get a bite to eat before heading out of town. read more

The Tesla Diner totally lived up to the hype. I got the chicken sandwich, and it was nice and crispy, and I thought the prices were fair for the quality. If you go upstairs at night, there's free popcorn while you watch movies on the big screens, which makes it such a fun experience. I also loved that the menu pops up on your Tesla as soon as you navigate there, so you can have your order ready before you even park. I just wish they had a location closer to San Diego because I'd honestly be a regular. read more
It's such an eye sore for the neighborhood. Overly priced and overly hyped. $9.50 for a strawberry matcha, $35 for 9oz. of sour candy, $60 for a neon tesla sign. I'm just not drinking the juice that everyone else is on. read more
Visiting LA and it just so happens this was the closest charging station... how cool!! I pulled up at 7am so they open early serving food and coffee. There's an option to deliver it to you but i wanted to see inside. Pretty cool! I'd didn't get to try food because I have other breakfast plans but I did get a matcha and it was not bad at all!! I mostly come here for the charging. If you're hitting it between 12:00 AM-7:59 AM, it's honestly one of the best rates around, which is a big plus. Food-wise, it's decent but pricey. The chicken sandwich is my go-to -- really tasty, crispy, and flavorful -- but at almost $13, it feels a bit overpriced for what you get. Overall, this is more of a charging stop for me than a food destination. Great late-night rates, but the food alone wouldn't bring me back. read more

Been here a few times now. Thankfully there usually isn't an insane line like when it first opened. My go to item is the French fries. The burger is alright, monkey bread is decent as is the matcha. They've expended the menu quite a bit since the opening and have salads and tuna melts and chicken sandwiches now even. Not a bad price and experience dining here. Came here as was in area and this popped up on the car map so thought to give it a go. First off will say love the environment of the space. Two huge walls / screens which play old school movies ( ghostbusters was on when we were there) for you to watch while waiting for your ride to charge. As for diner cool set up though a little pricey - we just ordered shakes as we had come from dinner and it was about 10.50 a shake. Menu actually does look good - classic diner fare with hamburgers, hot dogs, fries etc., Ambiance was cool - 2 floors and some Tesla displays - tesla robots, a cyber truck wal etc., As for shake - ordered chocolate and it was really good! Would go 5 stars just a little pricey is all...super cool vibe for your EV...check it out! read more
Im glad I stopped by after the hype. It was pretty much dead inside the diner when I went. The diner is clean and looks futuristic and even has a small bar. I like the upstairs patio area. Its really neat and you can watch a movie on the huge projection. I couldn't give this place 5 stars bc as much as I love elon, his food is very expensive and isn't tasty at all. I enjoy Dennys more and its cheaper. I got the giga burger protein style. It tasted decent and my husband liked the pickles, but 14$ worth, NO. I also got the wagyu chili. It was salty but i liked it. 8$ for a tiny cup worth. NO. I love that you can order in your car and on the kiosks inside. You order and then you get a text for when your order is ready. The workers are nice. It took a while for my food to be made but service was good nonetheless. read more

As a Tesla girly I HAD to come to Tesla Diner. I came here with my friend since she needed charging on her car and I absolutely loved the presentation of the diner. Everything felt futuristic & gave me space mountain vibes from Disneyland xD We came on Super Bowl Sunday and they were playing the game on the big screen (coolest thing ever). We didn't try the food because we were skeptical from reviews -- but came solely to charge our Tessie before heading home. Giving 4/5 stars because the presentation is awesome imo but I haven't tried their food. I'll update this review one day when I try the food out :) read more
I'll admit the prices are pretty high but I think you're also paying for the experience , vibe and atmosphere. The workers were very kind and friendly. Free popcorn is cool. I love popcorn. I got the burger and my family got burgers , chicken and drinks . You know you're in La when kombucha is an option in drinks. Drinks are free refills which is nice. You get to charge your tesla as well. The crowd is what you expect of Tesla owners. Parking can be iffy but we got lucky I guess and charged our car as well ate. I definitely want to come back and it's a place to bring someone who's visiting LA I'd say. read more
