This was my first visit to a Tesla dealership. The dealership wasn't the cleanest I've seen, but overall, it offered friendly customer service. Perhaps it was a bit messy because it was the end of the day. We arrived for a 6 pm appointment, and it was so busy that the Tesla agent, Trey, couldn't get to us for 30 minutes. He was incredibly helpful! I had heard before visiting that the service is quick, but perhaps because it was the end of the month, it was busier than usual. Once the agent arrived, after approximately a 30-minute wait, the service was quick and smooth! They did exactly what they said, and we left the dealership satisfied with our experience. I hope the service request will be faster and more efficient for our customers. By the way, the auto-buying process is simple because Tesla agents do not make commissions on selling cars, so they are not pushy or annoying.  I wouldn't recommend picking up a vehicle in the evenings, as the agents are usually tired and running out of energy.  Tesla cars are mostly reasonably priced and considered to be of excellent quality. They are the new iPhones of the automobile industry. I hope to return to this Tesla again someday soon! read more

Came here to test drive a couple cars. Made appointment for noon and signed waivers. Fast and friendly service. Knowledgeable sales associates answered all our basic questions. Very clean waiting room. Good coffee varieties available. Would definitely consider a model S or Y for my lifestyle. this is the second time I have been in this dealership......no one even stopped to look up from their phones or computer and didnt even know about what they sold. I asked about the new models coming out, they said it was just BS. there is no new ones comming out, there were two of the larger 4 doors on the floor. I asked if they had any of the smaller cars. He lied right to my face and said no, this is what they have, lied. I saw the smaller model on the lot, its like a compact...there is no value in going to a dealership like theses idiots. no one even got up from their desk........my next letter will be to Elon Musk. read more

Two months to get an appointment and then had my vehicle for two weeks and did exactly nothing to fix the connectivity issue.

Months later no plates Unprofessional team. Placed me on hold in middle of requesting my plates Giving wrong documents for me to sign Then not taking responsibility or accountability for my plates Told me I could just drive with expired temp tag lmao. They will gaslight you with any issue you have. A few of them are super helpful and friendly like Adrian and Matthew. The others can be pretty unprofessional and rude. Would expect better customer service for the price I paid. And as another review said they don't help you at all once you've bought the car. Adrian was nice enough to come out and answer some questions / make sure I was set to get home but nobody else helped.. Overall not a great car buying experience at all. And service center workers have an attitude / are unhelpful as well. read more

Awesome and smooth experience! Tesla let us know when the vehicle had arrived. We were able to select a pick up time. We were told when we were headed there the spot it was in so we got to find it which was so fun! The staff was super nice and accommodating. The papers to sign were right in the car once we checked in and we could leave. I wish the parking lot was bigger so that there was a place to "test" drive before driving off the lot. Thankfully we had been in a Tesla before so we were familiar with how it operates. read more

So, My first experience with Tesla buying mistakenly hooked me up with the Raleigh, NC dealer even though I live in the Roanoke VA area and Richmond is about 20-30 minutes closer and in the same state! I have never been able to reach the Raleigh, NC dealer or have them call back. In contrast every time I call this Richmond dealer they answer and are so nice and helpful. I have taken my car to have service here due to issue I am perceiving that I believe is due to alignment and super sensitive steering. They got me right in and checked the alignment and sent a repair person to drive the car with me in it. We then tried another car on the lot (not same performance version) and it was not doing the issue as bad. Anyway, they ended up convincing me that this was normal in the nicest way possible. To be honest I think they could have taken some of the specified toe out from the front wheels and helped improve my issue....but maybe the dealer is not allowed to put the alignment out of spec. I think if the front wheels were neutral toed or toed in slightly, it would drive on a straight highway without so often having to make a jerky steering correction when the car tries to jump to either side when one wheel gets more traction than the other. Long story short, this is by far the best between my two nearest dealers. I just wish there was another closer choice for me. read more

If you want a good experience--DEFINITELY NOT THE PLACE!!! WORST CAR PURCHASE EXPERIENCE EVER in 20 years of purchasing cars!!!We arrived to the dealership extremely excited to pick up our first Tesla(Model Y). We were greeted by a smile and warm welcome. We explained to the rep that we were there for our appointment to pick up our car. He asked us to kindly wait as he was unable to help us. We waited for Mile for about 10 to 15 minutes. Mike was funny and called us over when he was done helping another client. We went over to a desk. He explained that we have to sign a few documents. Once the documents were signed he said well let's accept terms and conditions on the app until which the purchase is actually not complete. We laughed and told him that we already went ahead and completed that process. He then proceeded to give us the keys and told us its all yours. He also suggested that we do not update the software as the Tesla is not connected to wifi and would not download any updates. He advised that we should do it once we get home because the 25minute update time is actually incorrect and that it would actually take hours. We ofcourse took his advise as he is supposed to be the "expert". He said we can start to set up our Tesla and he would be right over. We got into our car and started inspecting it to make sure everything was okay fee minutes pass and no Mike! The first associate was outside so we ask him a few questions while we waited for Mike to help us understand all the features. Mike never made it to us and skipped to next client. We take the car for a drive first 20 miles were okay and then all of a sudden everything started beeping and the display screen said to pull over as the car will now shut off!!!! We are going at 64 mph and to get this notification with no shoulder in sight!!! We finally pulled over as this could cause an accident. We were not pulled over in a safe location and the car directed us to get out of the car and enter again!! We are on a highway and not pulled off in a completely safe space!!! Having no choice we did that and returned to the dealership. They made it seem like it was no big deal that someone will look at it. The apparently updated the "firmware". They were certain that the problem was solved...about an hr and half later same issue! We have now spent almost an entire day taking time off of work. We live 3 hours away and its almost 6 o'clock. We called Tesla's customer support directly although they tried helping no luck! Called them again and now we are told to tow the car back to dealership and that no one would look at it till May 1st! In conclusion this was the WORST CAR PURCHASING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I would absolutely not recommend this dealership. Extremely disappointed with this purchase needless to say will stick with Mercedes in the future! read more

I promise you, you do not want to buy a tesla. The only good thing about these cars is the speed their capable of and full self driving if you paid for it. Now let me tell you the truth about tesla. All those youtube reviewers got paid to promote tesla. This is the truth. These cars depreciate faster than any other car bc tesla overproduces them. They kill the value of your investment. And these vehicles lack so much that most all other cars have. A personality... Every person that gets in my car is excited to feel out a tesla and instantly gets disappointed. Instantly. Woman scratch the doors with their rings trying to get this stupid door open. Cool lookin design but not so smart. These cars have no buttons, no nothing. Everything is on the screen. Youll get used to it but you will always wish you had buttons and a fancier cabin. It looks and feels like super cheap plastic. Its so basic its a joke. Then it has this weird cheap cloth covering the panels. And It is not cheaper than a gas vehicle. Its pretty much the same cost as my bmw to drive but my 2019 bmw only cost 60k and is still worth 30k with 3 times the miles my 2022 tesla has. I paid 80k for a model 3 performance in 2022 then 2 months later elon drops the price 17k. I couldnt use full self driving until about 6 months ago bc he didnt actually have it on. He updates the cars and makes changes all the time. He just released the full self driving feature to my car. And the summon doesnt work at ALL! My car is worth less than 30 now. 80 to 30 in 2.5 years. With 25k miles. My tesla chews thru rear tires every 5k miles. Its impossible to not scratch your rims in this car. The rims stick out. Like they want you to scratch them. And then buy a new one 900. My little carbon fiber spoiler fades every 1.5 years it seems. Already replaced it once and almost needs it again. Its cheap. It looks like cheap plastic not carbon fiber. This car even feels like cheap plastic. Sometimes my screen goes black and i feel like im flying blind. And then theres the service department. Every single time i bring it here they put dirt marks on my visor and other parts of the fabric. Every single time. Now this time they have dented my door. They did it. But they blame it on another customer. It happened while they had it in service. The car was in service mode and therefore the cameras were off. Yes it their responsibility to pay for this tiny ding but they wanna force me to pay for the repair. All vehicles lose value as soon as you drive them off the lot. This car losses value as bad as Maserati does. This car is not a smart purchase. Also the sales team has no idea about the cars they sell. They seem almost clueless when i ask then questions about tesla and promotions tesla is running. And the delivery option they promote is bull shit. They pay someone to drive the car out to you and put miles on your car... stupid. And get ready to start having charging anxiety. Anytime in gets below 50% I started getting anxious and calculating whether i would make it that day or have to find a super charger. And thats another thing. This is not California where there is a supercharger every 10 miles. They are popping up more and more out here but there is not many. read more

Service review only. I've had multiple appointments up at this location. All but one was bad. I drove up for a apt for a noise in the hatch. Got there about 15 mins before my apt time. As I checked in the service advisor told me that they had two guys call out that day. Now I understand that type of thing happens. However they knew hours before my apt and didn't care to call and tell me, or ask before I drove up if I could reschedule. So we left. Only to drive back up a few days later. They told me my repair was done and as I got there it was still making the noise. So I had to wait 3 hours while they found someone to come take a look and fix it. My most recent was for a inspection. As I got there I checked in. Told it wouldn't be over an hour. The waiting room had no seats left to sit in so I ended up sitting on the FLOOR. After 2 hours I checked in to see how we were looking for time. Was told the tech would get to it in 15 mins. So I waited. I waited for a total of 5 hours!!!! Only to have them say that my tire tread failed the inspection. Yes I know that's on me no blame placed there. But what I don't understand is that as a service advisor they didn't do a look around to see if hey maybe we can see something that might be an issue before someone sits here ALL DAY ON THE FLOOR. Just to be quoted about 2K worth of tires and an alignment. Which the vehicle had been up for since delivery about a pill and the tires vibrating. Needless to say I'd rather drive HOURS to another service center than EVER set foot in this location ever again. Bought the car brand new back in November, it's been nearly two months since, my lender still hasn't received the title and is penalizing me for the lack of competence from this location. They didn't try to weasel out of anything at all, changed drive unit, axels and hub. Everyone was very friendly, honest and pleasant. I wanted to buy a car with maximum safety features for my husband who has Parkinson's. Tesla has the reputation of having the most safety features so we went to this dealer. I was crystal clear about our needs for this car. We decided to buy a used 2020 to see if we liked it before we invested in a new one. You buy a used car from the dealer sight unseen. When we got it I realized immediately that it did not have features that I expected. I went to the salesman and he said that it was too late, that the car was mine. I thought I had settings wrong, or I was doing something wrong, because THIS TOP OF THE LINE 2020 MODEL S DID NOT HAVE THE SAFETY FEATURES OF MY of my 2017 KIA SPORTAGE! This could not be right. But it was. They would not let me return it, so I offered to buy a newer model, (and pay the difference in price), which would have more safety features, if they would credit me for what I paid for the 2020. They would not consider it. They would only give me trade in value of this car I had had for only a few weeks. Gary and George in service tried to help me. Christian and Jake in sales Kindly understood my situation but said that they could not do anything for me. The policy of this dealership is to not stand behind their vehicles. I had a great experience working with Virginia. She, and everyone else I came in contact with were as excited for me as if they were buying their own Tesla. I had never bought a car for myself before, and this experience couldn't have been better. She texted me back on her days off, which I both loved and hated, cause she's deserves her time off! tesla itself is a good car- kind of sells itself. The dealership is pretty bad. The delivery of the car was very superficial. Never showed me the technicalities of the car. Had to learn from youtube videos. apparently they were in a hurry to sell the car. They promised 1000 miles of free supercharging if I could take delivery within a time frame- which they never complied with. numerous phone calls to their manager geoff never had the courtesy to return one notwithstanding to fulfill their promise of the free supercharging.
