These guys rock! We were traveling back to So Cal after viewing the Eclipse in Oregon, and had a tire blow out about 45 miles north of Eureka. We had a spare so we were ok, but needed two tires. After stopping at two tire shops up the street, who were either understaffed or overpriced and a total waste of time, we tried Tetrault. I took my car here yesterday to run it through a quick wash because I did not want bird shit to ruin my paint...I should have left well enough alone and cleaned it up once I got home. My car is 3 months old, I bought it brand new, when I got out of my car after going through the car wash here my entire car was covered in scratch marks and it swirled my paint!! These aren't just simple "buff them out with a compound" scratches either. I took my car to a local body and paint shop and when they looked at the scratches they determined that they not only went through my perma plating, but clean through my paint. Short of repainting the whole car, the only option to repair the scratches is to color sand the entire car and hope that helps! It is an estimated MINIMUM of 10 hours labor, approx 1.5 days of actual work and close to a thousand dollars to fix! I know these kinds of places are an "enter at your own risk" sort of deal, but really...cant you take a little pride in your business and CLEAN THE FACILITY?? I will NEVER spend money at this establishment again, and I sure as hell have learned my lesson and will for now on be the ONLY person to wash my car ever again. I can guarantee I will never refer this company to anyone looking for a car wash either. read more

These guys r the coolest! I had a slow leak that Firestone Eureka said couldn't b repaired. Instead they tried to sell me a new tire for $100. I checked with Tetrault who had a good used tire for $20. When they looked at the tire Brent said he could repair it no problem. It took them 10 min. to repair and he refused to charge me anything!! Guess where I'm buying tires from now on?!! read more

I too am not from the Northern California and have never been a customer of Tetrault. I had a set of Cooper tires with a big nail in the front passenger side. They fixed the tire and let us use their "immaculate" bathroom. We were out in 20 minutes and there was no charge because they represent Cooper in Eureka. Cooper take note. My husband and I were on a long RV road trip--picked up a nail in one of the rear dualies. Changed the tire in a campground we limped into--but were not looking forward to the 'ordeal' of getting the tire repaired and getting it back on our vehicle. Drove over 100 miles on the spare till we spied Tetrault Tires. Pulled in at 2:30. Jeremiah came right out to see what we needed. Pulled us right into a spot and repaired & changed our tire. We were on the road again in less than an hour! When we asked how much? He said NO CHARGE!! A great place with excellent service and wonderful people! Highly recommend!! read more

Brought in my SUV with a set of rims, tires, and tpms to get installed. The staff was very helpful and happy to get my car in, they were able to get it done within an hr of me being there without an appointment and the price was half of what I expected to pay. The only thing was when I got home i realized my tires were put on backwards (cosmetically) I had wanted the white lettering on the tires to be facing outward instead of the black lettering facing out. Had I known the tires one didn't have the white lettering on both sides/ that they could go either way, I would have said something before I had them installed. But none the less I brought my car back and they gladly switched the tires for me no charge and got my car in right away. Very happy with the service! read more

These guys are nothing short of awesome. I rolled in at 5:35pm (5 minutes after closing) with a screw stuck in my tire. I needed to get back on 101 to get to San Francisco, and these guys didn't waste any time helping me out. I asked them how much the fix would be, and they said it's on the house! Keep in mind that I'm from Seattle, and I've never been here before. All three guys immediately went to work with a smile and I was back on the road in 5 minutes flat, swear to God. I can't believe how accommodating Tetrault is! I have custom tired with wheel looks (of course I lost the key!!) the ONLY shop I was able to find in Humboldt that could get it off! Able to overnight my specialty tire and Derrik went above and beyond to get me a full size spare so I could continue driving.... We went in just before leaving town for an eight hour drive home. We were hoping we could address a newly discovered leaky tire. We drove in and were helped immediately by friendly staff. Went in to Tetrault yesterday to special order a tire. After being brushed off by the ladies in the office and unacknowledged by the gents in the shop I was finally served after waiting over ten minutes. One fellow couldn't be bothered to even nod his head at their prospective customer while he shuffled outside for a smoke break. The gentleman who did eventually help me looked up the model of tire in thirty seconds and told me the tire was discontinued.. "Not to be found even on the manufacturer's website". This information conflicted with the advice of the tire PROFESSIONAL who had installed the original set in my home town. Now I am back home and looking at the manufacturer's website and, shocking, there is no evidence that the model has been discontinued.. I think I will take my business somewhere else, and I would strongly recommend you do as well. read more
