I would say only go here if you already know without a doubt what is wrong with your car and what needs to be done to fix it. I would not trust them to diagnose a problem. My car overheated and I was told it needed a new radiator and thermostat so I had it towed to Benny and he got it done by the next day for $385 (a good deal compared to my previous quote). When I picked it up I asked about other issues I should be aware of and he told me about an oil leak (I remember smelling it before and not knowing what it was)and quoted me $260 to have that done. I drove it home and it started out ok and then got kind of shuttery. Definitely didn't feel like it did before and 4-5 days later I brought it back to him. This time he diagnosed the issue as the spark plugs so I had him do the spark plugs and the oil leak at the same time and paid him another $322, but whatever, you pay for peace of mind. The next morning my car didn't start. After the weekend I asked him to come get my car started and he brought his mechanic, Justin, and they did get it started. They told me it was a $20 part (coolant temperature sensor) but I should bring it back in so they can look deeper in case it's not that.. and that they'd charge 40 for labor. At that point I didn't trust Benny anymore so I checked YouTube to see if I could just do it myself and yes I could have or they could have done it in my driveway in 2 minutes or less with a socket wrench. So then I really didn't trust Benny and just had another mechanic closer to my house do it. Including time to let my car cool down, it was done in 10 mins. Oh and guess what - a bad coolant temp sensor can cause overheating and misfiring spark plugs...... I wonder if another shop would have checked that on my first visit. read more

Extremely unhappy with my service. Took my car to get a new window, feel like I got scammed. Do not recommend this place at all!

Called before dropping car off. I was told I could drop it off in the morning and he would start it around noon. By 4pm haven't heard anything so I call. He hasn't even touched my car and it's been there over 8 hrs. So car has to stay overnight. By 10am next day haven't heard anything still so I call AGAIN. Says he has the code but has to do more looking to determine what the cause. Get a text from warranty that work has been approved at 2:15. Call to find out when it will be ready. He says not till end of day, not a specific time. (he closes at 6:30). Warranty company let me know the approved work should only take 1-2 hours. I tell him to leave my keys in it and I pick up later that night when I can get a ride since it's taking so long. He says I have to sign invoice but that he works late, what time am I thinking. I say after 8. Decide to go by after 5 to try to see if it's ready. He's had 3 hours by this time and it's still not ready. Call and complain to warranty company. He tells them I wasnt supposed to pick up till 8:00 so I have no reason to be upset. Tells warranty company he told me it wouldn't be ready till end of day and he's open till 8 so he has till then. Have the warranty company call him at 6:30 to verify if car is ready and can be picked up. He says that I'm not supposed to get it till 8 but that it's ready and i can pick it up. He calls me 20 mins later to see if I'm coming. I tell him I'm on my way. Get there at 7:09 ( I live 40 miles away) and he is closed and not answering my calls. Car is still at shop. This guy has lied to multiple ppl for the last 2 days then decided to keep my car last night to spite me because I called him out on the lies. Terrible business! read more

Don't take your car here AT ALL! This has to be one of the worst car repair shops EVER! I took my car there they did the diagnosis which was $70 which was supposed to figure out what is exactly wrong with your car. Then Josh calls and says it's the throttle fine I'll pay it. Then the next day says it's not the throttle it's the ECM. What was the point of paying for the diagnosis and you don't even know exactly what's wrong with the car. They do not keep ugly updated I called at 10 am and asked to be followed up by 5pm so I can know the status. It gets to 615ish and still haven't had a call and Josh claims he was busy but every time I went there he was sitting down in the office. The area is sketchy and I will never bring my car here EVER AGAIN. They are lacking customer service I rather take my car to the actual dealership and pay their prices before I will ever take my car here again. read more

FUKK TEXAS AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS i recently took my 2004 toyota tacoma in to get get fixed for my idle air control and i was told i had the wrong part and i should of known to leave bt instead they cleaned my throttle body and ever since they fuked up my truck more and i took it bakk today and they said my engine or motor is messing up and it wasnt messing up until they touched my truck and i asked for the manager and they he wasnt there bt when i called BENNY the manager he was there all they got was 100.00 out of me and hell no i aint ever going bakk again read more
