Took my car in for turbo lag boost .i was told I needed a exhaust and cat converter replacement after repaired. I picked up car and it drove exactly the same with no difference after spending 1300$ in repairs.the shop did not know what was the problem and could not find the issue with it.So 1300$ later and car is still slow at accelerating.I am extremely frustrated that I trusted a shop and they did not fix my problem.On top of that,they installed used parts with no warranty on used parts.Very disappointing to see a Saab specialist shop,that could not figure out issue with my car. read more

I haven't been a customer (yet) with TAP but I want to recommend them based on excellent help that I received over the phone. I'm currently shopping for a used Saab and called to inquire about inspections. The employee was very helpful and gave me crucial advice on what to look for in a used Saabs' condition, what future repairs I might expect and what sellers to avoid. He saved me from buying a fine-looking 900S that turned out to be a lemon- I may very well have bought the car without being forearmed with his advice. All for a man who hasn't given TAP even one dollar. When I do get my Saab you can bet I will take it and my business to them! read more

These guys give absolutely the best customer service in the auto industry I have ever received. And it is given EVERY time I have dealt with them, via email, , phone or in person, they always give you easy to understand and precise information. VERY honest, and straight forward, will stand behind any of their work. I travel 70 miles to take my vehicles to them for any service, other than standard oil changes. They have also done major work on 2 vehocles I own and very pleased with the outcome. They are also ussually cheaper than anyone else on the same repair, and they are not doing this by cutting any corners. They know they will have you as a customer for life. read more

I took my 2003 SAAB 9-3 SE to TAP for repair of some nagging oil leaks, replacement of the fuel filter, tire balance, and a general inspection. They charged me $90 for the tire balance! Additionally, they claimed to replace the fuel filter, but after inspecting the filter and lines, it is obvious that the filter was not even touched. This car was originally a northern car, so it had the typical corrosion from the salt. The banjo fittings and washers were completely corroded together and the fuel filter had corrosion on its surface as well. They charged me $90 for the labor plus the price of the filter! Finally, they charged me $90 to adjust the clamp around the turbo outlet tube - a five minute task! I will not return to TAP and would not recommend them to anyone else. The claims on their website about being an honest mechanic are pure B.S. read more

I was in a predicament where my car needed repairs that didn't seem worth the trouble for me to fix. I drove out of my way to get my car looked over at TAP. After talking to Tomas frankly about my options, I ended up selling my car to them. It was a wonderful transaction. He knew exactly what he was talking about with the car and I knew enough about the problem with the car to know that he was not misleading me. The quote he gave to fix the car was also quite decent and slightly below what a comparable shop was charging. I had been told that my car need spark plugs, a new ignition cassette and a laundry list of parts.
