This place is Fire. I went with my husband and ordered fully loaded brisket baked potato and the stuffed jalapeño and cheese sausage and I have to say it was delicious. The Staff was amazing. I would definitely return and recommend this place.

    Jalapeño cheddar sausage. So delicious!

Wonderful place with great hospitality. We will definitely be back! They are only open on weekends at this point. If you haven't been yet, try it ASAP. You won't be disappointed.

We were on the South side of San Antonio when we got hungry. I asked my wife to see what she can find. And she found the diamin the rough. I wanted to try some good food And she nailed it. We were not expecting to get some of the best brisket we've have tasted in Texas.. The ribs were phenomenal.Excellent smoking on all the marble brisket which had explosive flavor. I'm picky with macaroni and cheese but this hit the spot. Sweet potato fries and quickly fries were on point hot and so good.. The staff was extremely friendly. We met the owners who made us feel like very welcome lots of smiles, The place really felt comfortable. They have an outdoor patio and indoor dining area. But the day was gorgeous, so we decided to sit on the patio.. Of course , we had to have desert , so we got the peach cobbler with ice cream. Cobbler was nice and warm. The ice cream melted and it was explosive flavors in the mouth. But of course, I wanted to take a nap after my experience with this place.. It's a cute looking restaurant right off the freeway. But well worth the drive the pan experience. We all have a great. We will definitely be back again when we want the best barbecue in Texas..

We also tried their chicken and sausage both were good and we're gonna have to try the other sausage flavors, this was the regular sausage and it was very nice. So I know saying "they've got great sides" doesn't normally speak well for a joint, but let me assure you this place does both! Their Mac & cheese is made as you order it- it's so fresh and creamy like top tier ever. The creamed corn is epic. The cobbler is so good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Since it was our first time, they made sure we tried their sweet potato casserole at the end of our meal. He said the mac & cheese, potato salad, creamed corn, & sweet potato casserole are all made in house fresh each day and we should really sample them all. I really should have ordered some. The casserole was perfection. Not too sweet, but well spiced and creamy delicious, almost like sweet potato pie just in casserole form. I'm so craving it even as I write this. I must return to try everything on the menu. Even the tea was freshly made and very tasty. We will be back.

This is the place for Philly Cheesesteak! Gino's deli is also good, but this is equally wonderful…read more Those are the only 2 places you should consider if you're a cheesesteak snob like me. This cannot be beat. Get the American cheddar (and extra if you love cheese). Get extra red sauce (jalapeno salsa or something). I like my cheesesteak with mushrooms and jalapeños. This is definitely big enough to share unless you have a beast for a husband. Get 2 and put 1/2 in fridge for tomorrow. It gets a tad soggy, but it's almost even better the next day. The bread here is amazing. The staff is super rad. The location and vibe is spot on. Do not miss this secret spot.

So, when co-workers wanted to go yesterday, I jumped on it. Don't get me wrong. I love the vibe of this place. I LOVE their story. It's very NY/Northeastern deli feel (they're from Pittsburgh, but you get my drift, right!?). No nonsense. Small inside area. No tables inside. Just enough room to look at the menu, order, and go wait outside. I opted for the chicken bacon ranch on hoagie. What came out was a decent size sandwich, but incredibly messy and soggy. There was so much juice/ liquid the sandwich quickly became unmanageable and just disintegrated. Look, if you're going to serve a sandwich that messy, please upgrade your napkins. It was a one bite - two napkin ratio. The sandwich was good, but the mess and difficulty eating it just took away any enjoyment. Additionally, the flies outside rivaled the worst I've experienced. Do you remember the scene in the Lost World, Jurassic Park movie when the hunters found the Rex nest!? Okay, okay, maybe not that bad, but it was a lot. Hang some fly bags or strips or somethin'. Found price to be a little high. By the time I bought chips and a drink, plus tip: $22. Just FYI: my co-worker disagrees. He thought it was the BEST SANDWICH HE'D EVER HAD. So, yes, go give them a try, but bring a beach towel for clean up.
