I used to come here regularly, during restaurant week and also yearly on my birthday. I had took a break from coming here so i decided to restart my birthday tradition and restaurant week again. I had asked the server Julieta, who spoke little to no English, if they were participating in restaurant week. She replied yes. I then explained to her it was my birthday and she said they give a birthday desert of my choice on the house. That being said we had enjoyed the salad bar though I started noticing differences. For one the bacon was a different cut. It was boasted to be the best bacon in restaurants before. Also we noticed that there was basically little to no seasoning on the cuts of meats unlike in the past. We were sat in front of the kitchen and I saw them sprinkling something on meats. I guess the cuts we got didn't get the seasoning ‍. So after we finished our meal we were surprised that our bill was regular price, not restaurant week, and that I was charged for my dessert. We had called our server trying to explain our concern but of course due to our language barrier I just asked for the manager. The manager came over and we explained our situation. He had said that they stopped doing restaurant week a few years ago, at least he acknowledged they used to, and he comped the dessert as promised. Not to sound ungrateful, though they did give military discounts they decreased it from 20% to 10%. Better than nothing. This recent experience is not discouraging me from returning, it's the lack of taste of their cuts of meats sadly.

Only picturing the desserts because the overall options are too numerous and fantastic to post. Service is always fantastic. Restaurant is spotless, airy, comfortable and nicely appointed. You will not be disappointed!

The place is gorgeous and the staff is super nice but this place is getting a 3 star from me which is unheard of! (I am a 5 star gal baby baby) Reason being (for a 3 star) is all the meat was salty. No one wanted the pork Parmesan and the poor fellow carrying it kept going around until pretty much closing to eat table to get someone anyone to bite. The hot Buffett food was good but I question if it was being kept at a proper hot holding temp because boy o boy I got explosive dynamite when I got home. (And if you're following my yelp you know I just gave another Brazilian steakhouse a rave review) (and the other Brazilian steakhouse did not give me explosive dynamite) They didn't bring us the banana, mash, cheese bread, and fries side dishes until towards the end of our meal. The refill for my soda was flat because they keep the soda in pitchers. Which ya no biggie to bring it to me in a pitcher but make sure it's fresh. They also use paper straws. I thought good ole donny banned them? Any whoodles would I come here again, it's a no for me chuck, but at least the building was pretty and enjoyable to look at.

Great atmosphere and had a wonderful hostess! All the food was amazing and would definitely recommend and go back again.

Brazilian Steakhouse with great decor and enthusiastic staff. The ambiance and decor is wonderful, you feel that this location is special. Reasonable size salad bar, with fewer Brazilian favorites than other Brazilian Steakhouses I have been to. The meats, as you would expect, were excellent except for one of the pork offerings which I found a little dry. I was disappointed that they did not offer Chicken Hearts - always a favorite of mine at Brazilian Steakhouses. Apart from the Pork the cuts were moist and tasty. There was a steady stream of options and our assigned server checked with us if there was a particular cut we wanted to have. For dessert we shared a cheesecake which was lighter than expected. Great place to eat, but make sure you don't fill up on too much salad/veg. Also make sure to go for smaller cuts so you can experience the range of meats on offer.

Just wow. This place is everything I expected and more. From the moment you walked in this place with blow you away, from the service to the food to the decor. When we arrived, our reservation was for 615 we were about 10 mins early so we went to the bar got a drink. I ordered a mango margarita and it was so delicious. I drank a total of 4 the whole night, with a tajin rim instead of salt and so yum! The bartenders were super sweet and fast as heck. Before we could finish paying they were already calling our name to go sit down at our table. Our table was literally right next to the salad bar. The salad bar was packed with so many yummy food options to chose from such as tabbouleh, fresh mozzarella, green and black olives, three types of lettuces, tomatoes, a few meats with cheeses, asparagus, a few salad dressing and to much more to list. Then there was a hot bar that had black beans, rice, this creamy shrimp thing( that was absolutely delicious) and lobster bisque. I didn't try the lobster bisque just because I'm not a lobster fan. Our server was amazing. She kept our drinks filled. Then more food was brought to our table this Brazilian cheese bread that was my favorite, fries, mashed potatoes and cinnamon sugar fried bananas that I looooved! Then when you were ready for the meats you flipped your card from red to green and let me tell you when you flip that card get ready for the meat because it comes like lighting. We got chicken wrapped bacon, that was so juicy and tender and full of flavor, filet mignon, this also was so tender and juicy and perfect flavoring, filet mignon wrapped bacon, this was good but not my favorite. For some reason beef wrapped in bacon just isn't my favorite. Parmesan pork came by and that was our least favorite, it was really dry. I believe too sirloin was another and it was so so tender and juicy. Lamb was another one, I loved this one because it wasn't gamey and again tender and juicy. Then shrimp and sausage we tried last and I loved the shrimp that was definitely my 2nd favorite. The sausage was delicious too. We ate so much meat we had to flip our card back to red lol. Then lastly was dessert. There was over like 9 options and we ended up closing flan and this chocolate moose cake one and they were both so delicious. Overall this place is an experience and worth every penny! Service was impeccable especially for how busy it was. We will definitely be back 10/10

Came here a dinner. All that made it to the review was the general area (salad bar ) and the card to get the meats lol Ambiance was great, a lot of movement. Service was amazing. Their salad bar was great with everything you could think of, from cold meats to mozzarella, salad, and all the fixings. Lobster bisque, etc All the meats were great, my personal favorite is the pichana (hope i spelled it right) lol

First time here! Restaurant was very nice with lots of decorations and seating. Restaurant was packed on a Friday night. Salad bar has a variety of options from salad fixings, soups, veggies, charcuterie board type items, etc. The green light/red light card system for getting meats was fun. Once you change your card to green, be prepared to be served. It was a little hard to know what some of the meats were and what you might like but the staff were very kind and happy to tell you. There was never any issue with turning away some of the meats in case you only want filet mignon or something specific. You are definitely paying for the experience , so probably won't be back for awhile unless there is a special occasion.

We came here to celebrate me and my twin sisters birthday, and the experience was underwhelming. We had emails for $20 off for our birthday, and at first, they were not going to honor them because it was Saturday, and they said that they don't accept coupons on the weekend. That is the weirdest thing, and nowhere on the coupon did it say that. Thankfully, they end up honoring them for us. We made a reservation in advance, and our table was directly in front of the kitchen, where they were cooking the meat. The floor was so slick, I almost fell. My nephew fell because of it, we all walked like we're on ice trying not to fall. We asked them why it was slick, and they said because of the meat, that seems like a huge safety hazard. With people walking around with big knives cutting meat, that seems so dangerous to not address. After being sat, our waitress got our drink orders, and we got a pitcher of mango Brazilian lemonade to share. We then went to the salad bar, and the Brazilian vinaigrette was good. I liked how it had vegetables in the dressing. The bacon was cold, and the pineapple, too. Because the pineapple was grilled, we expected it to be warm. The salad bar was small, but everything was fresh and clean. They had many different meats being brought to the table. They also brought out mashed potatoes, fries, cheese bread, and plantains to share, which was a surprise. Our favorite meat was the top sirloin, they even asked how we liked our meat cooked. Because we were directly outside the kitchen, the meat came to us first, so we filled up very quickly. They are very good at getting meat to you, but our waitress would disappear and never come to check on us. We wanted refills on drinks, and we had to flag her down to get them. And when we wanted to pay, finding her again was hard. For the price of the food this place isn't worth it, better off going to Tucanos.

A friend is celebrating her birthday here. Can we do split checks here? And if so, how many split checks?

Yes. You can split checks here. It's not a super fancy place and you will see lots of people wearing really casual clothes. When my GF and I first went here we dressed up thinking it was really fancy, but it isn't. It's really a really nice and well…

Is there kids pricing? Like under 12?

Yes. Adults pay 1 price, but children's menu is deeply discounted.

    What is the price?

This all depends on what you're going to do and what time you're going. They have lunch prices which are separate from dinner prices, and salad bar only prices lunch or dinner as well and those are different prices as well. So to break it down for…

Is this restaurant kid friendly? How much is it for children a 5 year old?

Hello, Yes, we do welcome kids. When purchased with a full-price meal, children 3-5 years are $5.00

About how much $$$ would you need in order to really enjoy?

If no drinks figure $56 a person with tip

Can we bring out own alcohol? Like a bottle of scotch or whiskey?

No. They have a full bar and huge wine selection.

Is this is good place for pregnant women to eat?? Since I can only have well done steak and cannot have smoked salmon (which was my fav at fogo de chao) I am not sure if I should bother trying this place. THoughts?

Absolutley yes! If they bring a meat to your table and it is not to your standards, just tell the server what you would like. They are very accomodating here! I wish I had known such a place existed while I was pregnant :)…

    Is it like a buffet?

Sorry for the delay but YES! It could be considered the best buffet this side of town in my opinion. If you like bananas you'll love the ones they give you for dessert.

Would you recommend this place as one of the best in Denver to which I should buy an associate and his wife a dinner?

Absolutely! My husband and I have taken many business associates there for wrap up dinners. Great atmosphere and even better food.

Several minutes later she returned, but to my surprise, they had only cooked the outside while the center remained medium-rare. I was really disappointed and declined a third attempt, as recooking the same piece of meat completely defeats the purpose. What saved the review entirely was the exceptional service recovery. My initial server was incredibly kind, apologized, and offered a complimentary glass of Sauvignon Blanc. She had to take a break, and another server, Tyler, manned the section. After hearing about the situation, Tyler recommended a birthday dessert, which I happily accepted, and it was indeed tasty. I expected much more from a Michelin-recommended restaurant, but the two servers completely redeemed the evening by graciously comping the meal to make up for the dull kitchen experience. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to the entire team for making our 18th anniversary so memorable. -- Andrea & Sergio

We ordered the salmon Sashimi to start (epic), the Hipster Wedge salad, (yummmm) and the filet Champion style. THAT was one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. Incredible. The service was outstanding, the lighting/ ambiance were perfect. Pearl Street in Denver is a cool little district to walk around when the weather is nice too. Loved the area! We will be back!

Maybe locals never go. Honestly, I had low expectations. And yes, you are going to eat bull balls here. That is part of the deal. Fortunately, my low expectations were exceeded considerably. The Rocky Mountain Oysters (the bull balls) basically taste like batter. I would say their consistency and taste are most similar to calamari. A half order is plenty. The horseradish which accompanied the dish was milder than mayonnaise but still tasted nice and it was definitely better than the ketchupy stuff that also came with the plate. The buffalo prime rib was tender and not gamey at all. The (beef) steak was nice. They also offer other game animals like elk and quail. Our server was wonderful. She gave excellent recommendations. You can't discuss this restaurant without mentioning all the stuffed animals everywhere and the zillion animal heads mounted on the walls. It takes a little getting used to. The bar upstairs is very cool and is worth a visit but you want to dine downstairs for the best ambience. The food is good but not amazing. Call me a dumb tourist but this is a unique, fun place.

Buffalo Bill cocktail was really good, paired well with the Rocky Mountain Oysters. Blackened Buffalo ribeye was also a good pick. The menu just has all the highlights. I was interested in almost every item on the menu. The salads looked delicious too which is always a good sign for me. We got the sugar steak (their staple) as the Wagyu filet, which was divine. And it was cooked to literal perfection at medium rare. It had gorgeous coloring with a dark color on the outside because of the sugar rub and the beautiful pink inside. We were upstairs and the string lighting is adorable. The service was a tad slow (had to ask multiple times for water) and the wine took a bit but otherwise fine. The pricing is extremely reasonable as well. We already booked our next dinner date for a few months out to try their other menu items. Omg and save room for dessert. The list is stacked!!! The crab cakes and bacon wrapped scallops were both phenomenal as well.

I was so impressed that the steak came with vegetables, a choice of potato style (I ordered the twice baked which was so good!) and a salad or soup. The drinks were tasty. I LOVE the neon sign in the front of the restaurant. We liked the main floor seating because it had an open and classic vibe. We look forward to returning to this flash from the past! Free parking is available in back of the restaurant.

The establishment has a fun vibe and is tastefully decorated. The live dj was fun to watch and listen to. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and even the wine list. They made great recommendations for food and drink pairings. They were very attentive and friendly throughout our whole visit. The bread that is provided as a starter was light and fluffy. It came with a great whipped butter and olive oil. I ordered the lobster pasta and it was amazing. It was a little spicy for me, but the tomatoes added freshness to the bite. They added a lot of lobster so the price felt fitting. My partner got the Australian steak. The meat was very tender and perfectly cooked. We also got the Brussel sprout which were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We ordered a chocolate lava cake for dessert which was delicious. The cake was moist and melty on the inside. The berries and ice cream added a lot of flavor and freshness to it. They validated our parking for the garage next door which was a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed our visit here

We ordered fried calamari, a medium-rare steak with fries and Brussels sprouts, four cocktails, and bottled still water. The service got off to a bad start. When our appetizer arrived, the waiter failed to notice that we had no utensils. After about five minutes of trying to get our waiter's attention, another server stopped by. In a joking way, I asked her to "try the calamari," hoping she'd realize we were missing utensils. Instead, she reached toward the food with her hand. I stopped her and pointed out that we didn't have any silverware. Her response was that calamari is "finger food" and should be eaten by hand. That's not the level of service I'd expect from an upscale restaurant charging premium prices. Things only got worse. Our waiter then refilled our glasses with tap water without asking, mixing it with the bottled water we had ordered. The steak, ordered medium-rare, arrived cooked closer to medium-well. The cocktails were also underwhelming--at $33 each, they were tiny, packed with ice, and felt more like a shot than a proper cocktail. Overall, STK is an overpriced, overhyped restaurant that doesn't deliver the quality or service its prices suggest. While the atmosphere was enjoyable, it wasn't enough to make up for the poor service, mishandled food and drinks, and disappointing meal. I won't be returning. Next day went to EDGE at 4 Seasons-amazing food and service.

After reading other reviews and checking out photos beforehand, I knew the Colorado lamb was a must-order. It's not something I usually go for, but it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Absolutely worth the hype. We also ordered the birria short rib and hickory smoked picanha, and both were solid choices. The shrimp and corn grits were amazing, and I really loved the aged cheddar mac and cheese. Other dishes like the chickpea croquettes and the chili relleno were also pretty good and rounded out the meal nicely. The wait staff was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a cool, lively vibe. The only minor downside was that the outdoor heaters were a bit too hot, but that's a very small nitpick. Overall, an easy 5 out of 5 stars.
