We celebrated my birthday at Texas de Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse, and it was a wonderful experience for the whole family. The restaurant is beautiful, elegant, and very inviting. The décor and even the staff uniforms immediately reminded me of Spain, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was clean, well-organized, and the restaurant felt upscale while still being comfortable for families. The service was exceptional. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional. We were seated at a large table, and there were many gauchos constantly making their way around the dining room. Each one carried a large metal skewer with a different cut of freshly grilled meat or Brazilian sausage. They came to our table one after another, describing each selection and slicing as much as we wanted directly onto our plates. Every few minutes there was another delicious option to try. The gourmet salad area is just as impressive. You simply take a plate and help yourself to variety of fresh salads, cheeses, charcuterie, vegetables, and many other delicious options, whether you're in the mood for lighter bites or want to pair your meal with a variety of sides. To finish our celebration, we were presented with a dessert display. The staff brought a tray with sample desserts to our table, making it easy to see each option before ordering. I have been to this Restaurant chain several times in the past when they first open my Stepson for his 19th birthday. We ask him where he wants to go and he gave us this as an option so we said yes let's go. We got there. We got seated pretty fast. The waiters were very friendly and on point. I just think they can move a little bit faster when it comes to serving the meat to the clients since I was waiting for 15-20 minutes for them to pass by for me to take what I want. The selection of food is pretty good. The salad bar and different priorities are pretty good and I'm glad that we had a great experience yesterday a little bit pricey but we had a great time. read more

Texas de Brazil is one of the best restaurants for people with allergens solely based on their interactive allergen menu. As someone with celiac disease who cannot consume gluten under any circumstance, this allergen menu is super reassuring. And the best part is, even taking out those allergens, I still have a lot of options to choose from. I've attached screenshots and a video of what that interactive allergen menu looks like, which you can search for online for your specific location. The vast majority of the salad bar and meats are safe to eat, and my favorite item are the pão de queijo (cheese bread) which thankfully is a gluten free brazilian delicacy as it's made from tapioca flour. The service and ambiance have always been up to par during all my visits through all the locations in South Florida. I've had really great, safe eating experiences here. The reason to duck it a star was because we went on 9/1 which was Labor Day, so they were charging dinner price during lunch - which is totally fine. All the runners come to the table with meat cooked to different terms, and when we asked for medium well filet mignon, it never came. They had only one filet mignon "sword" going around which was well-done, and they had charred it. read more

Texas de Brazil is always our go-to for special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. The endless delicious food is what we go for. It's soooooooooooi mouth watering and good! I'm getting hungry just writing this review. I love dipping the Brazilian cheese bread in the lobster bisque and munching on all the good salad bar food. They give you a card to flip from red to green to let the staff know you are ready for some meat. They bring it right to your table and you can have as much as you want! Just make sure to wear loose clothing because you will probably gain a few pounds! The ambiance is really nice and the decor is beautiful. We usually have a really nice waiter or waitress. Sometimes we have to ask for water and wait a long time for the check. The price, to me, is worth it, especially if you go at lunch on a weekday. Came in on a Saturday night. Our waitress was terrible. She never came to check on us or ask us if there were any meats we would like to come around. Didn't offer a dessert menu either. It's been a few years since I visited this Texas de Brazil (and in general) and the service and food quality has changed. The service was spotty and the meat carvers did not come around often, sometimes going to the tables around us but not stopping at ours (this is with 3 out of 4 disks with the green side up). One time, they ran out of the bacon wrapped filet mignon and said they were going to get more and come back but never did, until we asked the server about it. There wasn't a large variety of meats being offered at once as 3 consecutive times, it was Picanha, Picanha, and more Picanha from 3 different meat carvers. The filet mignon and lamb chops either never came out of the kitchen or just didn't make it to our table. They offer hot items and bring mashed potatoes, fried bananas and my favorite, the Brazilian cheese bread to your table. We saw the other tables around us get french fries but we didn't. All the other hot foods are located by the salad bar. They are a busy location with shoppers from the mall, but the floor seemed dirty and there was a straw underneath our table during our entire time there. read more

Of all the Texas de Brazil locations, this one takes the crown for being the absolute worst. The chain has clearly lost its glory over the years due poor service, diminished quality, and inflated prices have stripped away any value that used to exist. This particular location is a definite NO GO. The Biggest Failure: Lack of Meat. The entire concept of a Brazilian steakhouse revolves around a variety of grilled meats, especially beef. Here, you're essentially tricked into filling up at the salad bar (which itself has declined in quality and items) while the only items consistently circulated are chicken and sausages. Beef, the core of the experience, was practically nonexistent. During my 1.5-hour meal (8:00-9:30 pm) on a Saturday night, in a nearly empty restaurant, not a single server consistently came around with red meat. I waited 45 minutes before seeing anyone with churrasco, and when it finally appeared, it served maybe five tables in total. I had to hunt down my waiter (after 15 minutes of searching) just to request picanha, which took another 15 minutes to arrive and that was the only beef I saw all night. Abysmal Service, waitstaff might as well have been in another space dimension or working in another restaurant simultaneously, because it was clear that they where not serving at this restaurant. Once seated, they were nowhere to be found. Requests for basics like mashed potatoes or cheese bread became exhausting exercises in futility. Due laughable Portions for a party of five, in which we were given one small side dish of mashed potatoes (barely two teaspoons) and five pieces of cheese bread total, nothing more. Requesting refills was pointless; by the time the waiter resurfaced, and more may show up it is breakfast time. Final Verdict, I thought the now-closed Sunrise Ave. location was bad, but this place set a new low. Between the lack of beef, vanishing servers, insultingly small side portions, and steep prices, this restaurant is nothing short of a ripoff. Recommendation: Avoid at all costs. read more

If you go online, you can save some time with the weight and they are really nice and they will see you quickly if you have a reservation. Jessica was a fantastic server and was so kind and attentive. Anytime we need water or anything she was there to attend to us. She was also great because she allowed us to pick the meat and request for the specific cuts that we wanted. This place is awesome and I highly recommend that you try their lunch because they bring so many good quality cuts. And it is less expensive than the dinner. Our waiter was real friendly and always kept our water glasses full. What sucked was the manager! Online, if you sign up your email address with their promotions, they send you a coupon. The managers did NOT want to honor it. They came with one excuse after another. Every time we challenged the excuse(eg: he said the coupon was just for dinner and we were there for lunch. We pointed out that the coupon said lunch or dinners and he said ok and he would be back) and every time he came back with another excuse why he couldn't honor the coupon. The dining room is pretty with white table cloths and the wine cabinet on display at the end of the dining room. Someone immediately came and got our drink orders and we told them we prefer medium cooked meats. None of the meats that came out were medium, a couple were seared. Some where good, most were underwhelming. The salad bar and side options were just okay. Desserts are not included and are of extra charge. You don't have to tell me the tips are not included. So that made me arch my eyebrows. Then when I looked on the receipt, he charged us for five dinners (~$274) instead of five lunches (~$200)... Went out for my girlfriend's birthday as she's never been here before and it was very nice aesthetically. I've been to the one in Aventura a couple times which that location is bigger but I liked the compactness of this location. Service was good and fast, we had a reservation at. 6:30 and was seated right away. The open bar was great I really loved the rice and beans. Now onto the main course l, the only negative I have about the place is that it's super fast pace and the meat comes out super quick. I can't tell you what meat I loved the best but I did love the picanha it was seasoned perfectly and grilled perfectly. There was other meats I liked but again they came out so fast I couldn't remember all the names. The one meat I do remember is a medium rare filet mignon and it was just chewy and not enjoyable. Restaurant was busy and I was dining alone and unfortunately I like my meat med well and I find at these places a cook like med or med rare is more popular. I did mention it to the server and she said she'd speak to the kitchen but I don't think this happened. I got a nice plate of salads from the cold bar which were yummy. A manager glanced my way and asked if I was ok, when I mentioned I was waiting for med well he went to the kitchen and minutes later a whole parade of med well meat was parading by me all cooked to my perfection. Under the floral arrangement is an amazing salad bar with some high end toppings like marinated tomatoes & artichokes. Hearts of palm. Shaved parmesan. All types of fruits too. They also have a hot bar with lobster bisque soup, which was delicious. Potatoes au gratin, rice and beans. Drinks are amazing, their Brazilian Caprinini ... it's a brazilian margarita made with limes & sugarcane rum, their national drink!! But you'll need to flag down your waiter, because they are really not very attentive. Little for them to do at a buffet, yet they get a big tip!! This is my first time at the Sawgrass Mall (FL) location of Texas de Brazil. I've been to the Doral location, which in my opinion is much nicer and more spaced out. This location is located right next to a very busy mall in Sunrise Florida. This is probably why once I walked in, I was a little overwhelmed with how many people were packed in there. Decent experience and good food but it was just okay for me. Although I told the waiter when asked, my preference is med/well cooked meat, 95% of everything that came around was rare & bloody. For the amount of money you pay, I expected more protein options to my liking and more options on the salad bar. The service was okay. The ambiance was decent but not as nice as the location in Doral, FL. I won't be going back to this location again but I hear a lot of people like it so give it a try yourself. read more

Their meat was good, but I only truly enjoyed the flank steak, bbq pork ribs, and picanha (my always favorite). The bacon wrapped filet mignon was pretty juicy and tasty as well. The chicken and lamb options I had seemed pretty dry unfortunately. The garlic and spicy picanha never came my way before I was too full after a hour, although I did see it on the menu. We had a particularly dishonest experience with the staff. An employee- who was not our server- brought us our bill and said we could pay our gratuity in gift cards. We tipped over 25% of our bill and later found out our server received less than half of the tip. Somewhere in between the exchange an employee likely took the tip meant for our server. The entire meal went without these. We had two types of meat brought to us within the first 25 minutes, then they stopped coming to the table. We asked the server multiple times, but it went on deaf ears. I finally reached out to the manager and advised him of the situation. It still took another 10 minutes for anything to come around.
