Giving them 4 to 4.5 stars- have to add that I had oral surgery yesterday and can only have soft foods, hence the review is based mostly upon sides and customer service. Great customer service. Great smell as soon as you're close. Good vibes as soon as you park. You are promptly greeted and provided with samples. We were given the option of hot or mild, I think. My boyfriend enjoyed the samples. I tried the smoked chicken with hot and I think I'll be back for that. We ended up with the brisket dinner and mac & cheese. We'll be back cause I really need to get my hands on the buttered molasses pecan pie. I am thinking I want a chicken sandwich too. read more

Glad we have a Texas rib shack but very disappointed this time around , the guy working by himself self and has his granddaughters working on register she hast to be 9/10 years old . Waited 30mins witch not bad but what disappoint couple came in after us when our food was ready he handed the couple our food . The. Couple opens it and hands it back and the guy ask who order it was and gives it to us I use to work in food business and already to many hands touching the food . And mind you little ones have no gloves and operating the register have to teach them young but again no gloves . And hand us the food other customers touches . I was expecting some southern hospitality but when I walked in I saw the owner/manager on a table on his phone and didn't acknowledge us at all. Fine. We ordered ribs, pulled pork, and brisket to go. When we arrived at home we discovered they had given us chicken, sausage, a hot dog, and ribs. It didn't look smoked, it looked like it had been sitting in a steam warmer for hours. Seemed like we just got what they wanted to get rid of. Expensive too. The pulled pork was tasty but had tooo much fat included. The desserts where good but not for the cost! Oh if you want sides that is ok, but it will cost $1 p/each to sub out. Only reason I selected the stars because I had no choice but to! If you spend $60 somewhere you expect good food I was missing an entire plate and got two of the same desserts when I ordered different ones. The cabbage was burnt the ribs were Practically just bones and fat the beans look like a can of pinto beans and the Potato salad was watery looking like it came from the grocery store that's been sitting on the shelf for a while. When I called the owner and spoke with him he said he'll take my information down and next time I come he'll give me a free plate but technically it's not free because the plate I never received... All of the food was cold and was definitely a waste of time and money I will never go back here again and I suggest everybody takes my advice... What a great experience. These folks love what they do and the food is excellent. We were in Glendale settling the final steps in a family estate issue. My son and his wife, two grandsons, a Granddaughter and her husband and three great grandchildren. We needed a turkey and found these folks smoking and deep frying turkeys for the next day. They graciously added my last minute request for a fried turkey. It was cooked to perfection. They saved Thanksgiving for our family. Thank you so much guys, we will be back. read more

The smell wafting from the meat smoker set up on the patio had us hooked the minute we stepped out of the car. The beef brisket was awesome! Potato salad was made with fresh ingredients and the cornbread was sweet and corny! For desert, I had the apple cobbler which was obviously home made and very tasty! I'm looking forward to when they open the icecream [bar] so I can have a dollop of vanilla to go with the cobbler. They are a fairly new restaurant and are still expanding. The eating area is quaint with family style tables set up. I believe they do also do a lot of take out business (possibly because of the size of the dining area). This is some goooood Texas barbeque! This is not a good restaurant at all. I had a pulled pork sandwich with very little meat and it was very dry. I had to ask for more sauce to make it better. The potato salad was like it came from a grocery store. The owner Wayne is the most introvert and extremely rude. The other employees don't know what they are doing. I have to say that it has been a long time since something like this happened. (Talking about Texas Rib Shack's great service) I ordered food thru Uber Eats and a driver name Dewayne acted like he was picking up the order. He was asking me questions and everything thru the app but he stole the food. I can't stand people who do things like this to Small Businesses. Uber Eats did their part and returned my money. But I wish I could post a pic of the Uber Eats Driver Dewayne and his vehicle. He should be shamed of himself and banned. Texas Rib Shack took care of me and my husband. Myra talked to me on the phone and made sure that we received some food if we never received it from Uber Eats. Well we never received our order so she delivered the food. Let me tell you it was so good. Me and my husband over filled our selves with ribs, beans, hot links, and cornbread. We still have pecan pie and a chocolate cake to eat. Myra, thank you so much for delivering us food for the night. It was so delicious. I give this business five stars because most businesses would have said Uber Eats cancelled your order and will give you your money back. And that would be the end of it. David an amazing sever said "sorry for the mistake " and let the owner know and he said " no problem get her some bread" ... but with my luck they were so close to closing they only had the BUTT BREAD Lol and everything else was frozen!!! I visited this place for the first time after church on Sunday and greeted nicely, next minute I know a couple comes in the store wanting to purchase more food them e and the guy stops helping me and helps the other couple. They trick you by letting you have a sample of good tender meat and when you purchase they give you burnt meat. The ribs were charred it was horrible I couldn't eat any of them. When I left my number to complain the male owner called and yelled at me and said I was a liar. But here I am writing a review and others say the same thing.
