I decided to treat myself and my son to steak, so we headed to TR. I've been to this place many times. So my expectations were high. There were about 40 mins wait, although we were told about 15, I do understand, the place was packed as usual. So no problem. I ordered the 16oz. ribeye steak. My son ordered the 6oz. We both got the 6oz. steaks. I asked my server about that, and he apologized, he went to the kitchen to fix that and came back saying that a mistake was made, that I could eat the 6oz steak and they will make me a 16oz. and they would write off both off the ticket. He took forever to come back, but in the meanwhile, we could not order any sauce for my steak, finally, I finished the 6oz. steak and lost my appetite. When he came back he put the steak on a to-go box, assuming I was no longer hungry. He brought the check, and the only item written-off from it was the 6oz. So I just wanted to go home after the kitchen confusion and the check confusion I just paid and left. I didn't want to argue for anything and I did not want to be taken as someone looking for freebies. Not my thing. Hopefully, in the future, this won't happen again, but so far, this is my report. read more

Prices reasonable and easy online ordering and pickup. Ordered over 2 hours ahead and order ready right on time. Previous review I knocked off a star because tip was added and I thought it was automatic ... it isn't ... you can tip or not before finalizing your order. We found everything here to be cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was great and although there was a wait for a table- it's well worth it. I got the ribs and they were decent meat and went well with the BBQ sauce. My boyfriend ordered the steak which we found to be very delicious and definitely what to come back for. They do not have baby back ribs which is a bummer and I would say many agree that steak is the way to go here. Also- they need to give you more BBQ sauce as the messages don't come Pre-dipped. To say the "owner" was a jerk is an UNDERSTATEMENT. HE was a complete ASS. After waiting for 40 minutes we were missing one from our party. My son accidentally went to outback restaurant instead. Which was right across the street. He arrives within three minutes and instead a larger party was sat ( who also had 2 people join them after). We were then advised you had to wait for your complete party before you can be seated. And had to wait an additional 30 minutes. My husband the birthday boy was obviously upset and ask the hostess please tell me where it reads you have to wait for your full party- I don't see that anywhere. Instead of simply showing him she calls up the manager/owner. Instead of this gentleman simply telling or showing the birthday boy where it said this he begins to argue with him and makes a lot of excuses - then FINALLY proceeds to show him where it reads this -and the entire time acting like a complete jerk. Why??? Is that necessary? When asked who his manager he boastfully said I am the owner in his pompous proud rude demeanor. Clearly Napoleon syndrome. Why can't you simply say I'm very sorry sir this is where it reads that and I'm just trying to follow Covid rules- etc? But no he came out boastful and like a jerk and offensive. Our party of seven was split to a party of five and two. And the owner couldn't just leave well enough alone he had to come and pat the birthday boy on the back and a patronizing way and say well at least you finally got seated. Again I ask why?? Is being boastful more important than being a kind customer service oriented business owner? I guess to the owner of this establishment- yes. Ruined my husband's 47th birthday. He just left and then so I left! of course I had my kids stay because they were hungry and we've already waited an hour and 20 minutes. I guess I just don't understand - working in a customer service environment- why sometimes you can't just take the higher road. There were So many other positive directions this evening could've gone. But the owner of this establishment says F You - I don't care. I guess I'm just disappointed. Did I mention coming to this restaurant was against my better judgement anyhow? The food is sub par and it is ALWAYS in need of a good cleaning. We have eaten at this TRH a few times but this past Wed night we did..they were a little busy but it was fine. We had the most awesome server named Blake who took such good care of us. We hardly had to ask for anything except rolls once cause we always eat them so fast.Anyway he was awesome..codial..pite..funny..it was a pleasure & as usual the food was awesome. Being a mother of a toddler, I have to compromise with finding a restaurant with good food and toddler friendly ambience. Texas road house is a perfect place that meets both areas. Pros: the bread and cinnamon butter is AMAZING. I know they are famous for that bread and butter! The staff and waiters/waitresses are friendly and welcoming. The ambience is casual and chill. The menu has a variety of options for steak, BBQ and some seafood (shrimp or catfish). They are child friendly, which is very important! Cons: the food took a little longer than expected, and our waitress was super slow and bringing the bread and butter when we ran out. I ordered the 16 oz prime rib, which came out looking a lot bigger than 16 oz (not a con) but when I cut into it, it was kind of tough, which prime rib should not be! The first bite was most excruciating because I was so hungry and looking forward to prime rib, but the meat was tough and very dry. I drenched it in au ju sauce but it was still very dry. I will start by saying there aren't many dining options in Parker, so we have been here a half dozen times. My kids and I like the feel of the place...as the name suggests, a Texas Roadhouse. Peanut shells on the floor and interesting decor on the walls etc. . It seems to always be crowded with a sometimes very substantial wait. The kids always get the ribs...they are always overdone to the point of being burned...not good. I get a steak of some sort and have been underwhelmed 100 percent of the time. My wife gets a steak or the salmon, and is also never very happy. Service is always pretty good. I really wish they would step up their game. We used to go to a Texas Roadhouse when we lived in dallas and loved it. read more

My order did not place when I did it online for some reason, so I placed it again in person. When my order was ready I picked up and went home. I got home and realized they forgot my House salad, so I called the store 4 times and just got the pass the call, but no manager ever picked up to resolve my issue. Texas Roadhouse you got me again. I usually go to the one in El Paso, however, I had to show the GF why I sound like I'm coming out of a (food) coma when she calls. Started off with the peanuts and rolls as all patrons get blessed with. Then conquered the chili fries the size of two plates...fine we'll share the Rib-eye combo deal. 12 oz slice of goodness with the caramelized onions blanketing the steak. Baked potato (of course with the WORKS!) and Caesar salad (the gf got nervous, even after all the pineapple vodkas). And of course I had to wash it down with the dark beer they have on tap (51/50 or something like that...ask for it...good). The service was perfect and right on time. This is a must go at least once type of place to give it a shot. Can't wait for visitors to come to have a reason to make a return trip. read more

This is a great restaurant to receive consistently good food. I wasn't excited about the 15 minute wait, but it seemed to go quickly. I know it is corny but I look forward to shelling peanuts while I wait everytime. Once our buzzer rang we went to the counter and were greeted with a friendly hostess who chatted with me as she took us to our table. Once seated out waitress greeted us and had a catchy greeting about a drink. The service was awesome all night. We were checked on frequently. Both my boyfriend and I ordered the rib eye. They were both cooked like we like them. My boyfriend's favorite part of the meal after the tender flavorful steak was the rolls with the butter and cinnamon. This is a gluten free review, as both my husband and I are allergic to wheat--but don't have celiac. Came here when my parents were in town on my dad's recommendation--and I'm glad he did! Decent steaks for not much money ... what more can you ask for? The sides were delicious, too, especially the french fries (not in a dedicated fryer) and the side salads. I was not a fan of the greens that I ordered because they tasted like collard greens, but if you're into that sort of thing then do it! Also snuck some of the honey butter they provide with the bread and it was DELIGHTFUL. Anyways, more than the food, I have to mention our Server... Keith. Keith was unbelievable as our Server. He was on the ball with everything. Before we finished our Dinner Rolls, he brought more. I am a big fan of the early bird specials Mon to Thurs 4-6. Yes, it makes me sound like I am in my later years that I eat dinner at 4:30 with no problem. That's dinner time in my world and to be honest, why wait another hour and a half to pay nearly double. Last nights meal, 6 oz sirlion, baked sweet potato and corn for $7.99. I mean really 7.99. When the clock strikes 6 during the week that same meal is like 14 bucks! So for 2 people, beverage, onion blossom thing and 2x7.99 dinners... total check... 26.58. Plus it was too much even with the smaller lower priced portions, peanuts, onion and bread which is complemintary that I took 1/2 my dinner home. I do like that you can call ahead as well if you don't want to drop in and have to wait to be seated. It's a nice relaxed place and even had free Wifi at this particular location, so it's good place if you're trying to plan something. You can still have access with your laptop or ipad while you wait, or to even write a live running play by play review. read more

Since the opening after the red alert, the service is so slow. I completely understand all the logistics that need to take place. We waited 70 minutes to be able to dine-in. After been seated, we asked if we could place an to go order for a family. We were told that they were backed up and we needed to do it online. We did immediately at 6:47pm. The order was supposed to be ready at 7:18pm. It's 8:07pm and the order isn't ready. Just one order. We've been waiting in this parking lot since 5:30pm. Have the Texas fillet here and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had! My biggest complaint would be the fact that they played country music the whole time the Broncos game was on. I would have preferred hearing the game. They also have excellent biscuits with a cinnamon honey butter that is so good. I also recommend the hurricane margarita.
