My family and I visited Texas Roadhouse last night, and once again, it was a great experience. It's such a family-friendly restaurant, which is one of the reasons we visit so often. Parking was easy, especially now that the neighboring business has been torn down. The area is nicely paved, and there was plenty of space. Everything we ordered was delicious. The rolls were as good as always! I ordered the fried fish with a Caesar salad and a sweet potato. Their sweet potatoes are one of my favorite sides. My husband had the ribeye with a Caesar salad and mashed potatoes. Our 4-year-old enjoyed the kids' hot dog meal with green beans, and our 1-year-old had the junior crispy tenders with seasoned rice. I absolutely love their seasoned rice. Our waitress was very attentive and suggested a drink I didn't even know they offered, a Cadillac margarita topped with Grand Marnier. It was delicious! My husband ordered the Long Island Iced Tea and enjoyed it as well. We visit Texas Roadhouse at least every other week because it's become a family favorite. The food is consistently good, the prices are affordable, and the atmosphere is welcoming for families. One of the managers, MaKayla, is always so kind. She even gave my kids peanut storage cups, which they loved. Texas Roadhouse continues to be one of our go-to restaurants, and we'll definitely keep coming back. read more

Texas Roadhouse has amazing food! Their rolls are always hot and fresh. And their cinnamon butter with the rolls was great. I ordered the chili (extra onions and cheese) with country fried chicken with white country gravy and it was delicious. I cannot complain in any way about the food. I also had their raspberry margarita with an extra shot and it was very yummy. The service was not good. We had a waiter that was confused about the checks and took over thirty minutes just to get back to our table to pay for our food. She was gone for very long time periods and our table was cluttered the entire night. Nothing was removed off the table until the very end and we had appetizers and drinks as well. We had a forty minute wait even after we called to make reservations for our party before hand. The entire place was packed with people in lines inside and outside the establishment. read more

You know it's going to be really loud. Ordered a NY strip rather than the sirloin and it took forever to come out. My partner got her order way before me. And when mine arrived it was disappointingly tough. Maybe it didn't cook long enough? The baked potato was as good as I remembered. i went to celebrate a birthday dinner celebration at Texas Roadhouse. I ordered the Combo meal 6oz Sirloin Steak with Ribs combo, Caesar Salad with extra croutons and extra Caesar dressing ,Baked Sweet Potato fully loaded and Hot Buttered Rolls. My food overall was good my steak was overcooked/ tough, Ribs, Salad and Rolls were all good. We ordered cocktails they all were good. The service was good our waitress did bring food and drinks out together. But didn't bring out additional rolls we requested. The restaurant was crowded our party was split up in two different areas not close by each other like we were told we would be. The drinks here are always amazing! My favorite is the Jamaican cowboy. I tried it on the rocks for the first time and liked it better than the frozen! This was my first time eating here and and food was really good the service was just not up to par. As a "retired" server I look for certain things when I go to restaurants. We arrived here about 12 and it was packed! Although it was just my son and I we were sat rather quickly. I really dislike that they sat us at those extremely small 2 person tables. We barley had any room for anything. If I wanted more food it wouldn't have been able to fit. Our server which I believe his name was Nelson, who was not attentive at all. Service was not up to par. We didn't get any refills on our drinks the entire time. I did give him our complete order but that didn't mean I wanted my appetizer with my food. So we just sat there waiting and then everything came out at the same time on these small tables. I don't know what they are taught at Texas Roadhouse but I was taught the appetizer is what comes out before the rest of the food. It's not suppose to come out all at once. It couldn't been my fault but hey. One word- PRE BUSS! Whether or not you have table bussers. Who wants to sit there in a complete mess especially at a small table. I had to stack everything just to make room. Now we had to try and eat all of this food and make space because the table was so small. I ordered something to go also which I gave him at the same time I ordered everything else. I think he literally put everything in at one time which is crazy. He didn't check my order the potato wasn't loaded. He never came back so I couldn't ask him for the other condiments and had to stop another server. He also never told us that we had to pay on the machine at the tables so again just sat there waiting and he never came back. It's just the small things that make a difference with the experience you have, especially since I had never been there before. Now the food! I ordered the ribs for the appetizer and they were amazing my son loved them as well. I ordered him the steak bites with fries and I ordered the 12oz Ribeye and Shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly , a nice size and was well seasoned. I will be back here for sure hopefully we get a bigger table and I can try more items and even get an alcoholic beverage. The manager did come check on us very prematurely before everything went wrong so I just think she should make an effort to check on tables once their food has made it. Waited forever for a table and the seating was very disorganized. People who checked in after us with the same size table clearly being seated ahead. Initially told 35 min wait. After 35 minutes then told 20 minutes. Went back to the desk twice before seating. Very young ladies working the seating counter. Our server Gia was wonderful. The food was not up to our expectations for Texas Road house. Steaks were cooked to proper temp, however the baked potato was a bit burnt and sweet potato had an odd taste. I actually cannot believe that I am giving a chain steakhouse a five star review! I usually am very wary to eat dinner at a place like Texas Roadhouse but my parents wanted to go so I obliged. It was a Friday and we arrived approximately 5 o'clock and were seated right away. Our waiter was Kyren and he couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. Everything was brought out in a timely manner and our drinks were kept full. Everything that was brought to our table was hot, fresh and tasted amazing. My mom and I ordered a ribeye and it was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was really good. I give them a negative 1. This location on Mall drive in Baton Rouge, LA has the WORSE customer service in the history of restaurants. The management staff here needs to be replaced. I cannot believe the unacceptable treatment my family and I experienced on April 27. We visited this establishment to celebrate the 81st birthday of twin sisters, an important and special occasion for our family. We called ahead to arrange a 6:00 PM dinner and were advised to arrive early so that our party could be seated together. Following those instructions, I ensured that all guests arrived by 5:45 PM. Upon arrival, we informed a staff member--later identified as a manager named Nika--that our full party was present, though our number had decreased slightly from 15 to 13. Over the next hour, we checked in approximately every 10 minutes, as several members of our group are elderly and have mobility challenges, including the use of canes and difficulty standing for extended periods. Each time, we were told only that tables were being cleaned. No additional explanation, accommodation, or concern was offered for the needs of our elderly and handicapped guests from the managers Nika or Miciah. At approximately 6:40 PM, after repeated inquiries, we asked again for an update and expressed concern about the delay. Nika responded by saying, "If you don't like it here, you all can leave," at which point she identified herself as the manager. This response was both unprofessional and disrespectful, especially considering that our group consisted entirely of mature adults quietly gathered to celebrate a milestone birthday. We also requested a seating accommodation for one guest who had already walked to the restroom and has significant difficulty walking. We asked if we could be seated closer to that side of the restaurant to avoid further strain. This request was denied without consideration. Despite arriving early and confirming that our entire party was present, we were not seated until approximately 6:50 PM. The delay, combined with the lack of communication, empathy, and basic customer service, made this experience deeply disappointing. This was, without question, the worst management and customer service experience I have ever encountered. read more

Texas Roadhouse is one of our regular spots in Baton Rouge. The staff is amazing. They are always friendly and service is fantastic. The food is solid. You will almost always need a to go box. They give you plenty to eat for a good price. My wife and I usually sit at the bar because they are always busy. That is the sign of a good restaurant. I had the Sirloin 6oz steak well done, grilled shrimp, sweet potato with marshmallow and cinnamon. Let me not forget that I also had the famous Texas Roadhouse roll with extra butter. The atmosphere was energetic and inviting, even with the rainy weather outside, making it a great spot to unwind after a long day. We I have to give this Texas Roadhouse two stars. Reason: I sat at the bar eating along and no one acknowledged me for way over 10 minutes. Though the bartender apologized for missing me... she saw me sitting there for a while with no drink or menu. Food: Dallas fillet was ok, little over cooked and the thickness is not what I normally have when ordering this same meal in other Texas Roadhouses. The veggies didn't taste fresh (wilted broccoli) and salad I ordered not croutons... and crotons showed up on the salad. Inside is the typical Texas Roadhouse. In BR for work. Texas Roadhouse is usually pretty consistent. I'm a fan of the 8oz sirloin with mushrooms, a baked potato and a side salad. Add a side of ribs on that, and that's a pretty good meal. Since that's what I get most of the time, I usually don't even need a menu. The service was great, although a little slow at first. He was really nice, so I'll let the speed slide this time. Texas Roadhouse gets pretty busy, so it can be a bit loud in there. All in all, it was a good experience. I would recommend it. read more

Our waitress was Courtney -- she was VERY attentive and asked all the right questions when we ordered our margaritas. (Do we want extra water, etc) My husband had the prime rib and I had a sirloin.
