Was going to dine in but my dad was not feeling up to it so I ordered to pick up and go. Food was excellent. The only thing that was wrong was my dad ordered medium rare steak and it was raw. Besides that I thought everything else was really really good & big Portions I gave him part of my dish and ate his rare steak But I prefer it that way. I would definitely go back but on a weekday & at a different time of day because I know they were super packed at the time I went which was between 4 and 5 PM. I also noticed that many people don't know where to go to pick up the food they were kind of parked all over the place and walking up when you're supposed to actually drive up. We came here on a Saturday night for dinner and didn't realize how busy it would be. When we arrived it was a 1 hour and 45 minute wait so we asked how long for takeout and were told only 30 minutes. We put in our takeout order and were told it would actually be an hour. Not ideal but we weren't in the mood for anything else so we waited. We were very impressed that the food was actually ready on time and was still hot by the time we got it home. They were skimpy on the rolls but the meals themselves were huge and steaks cooked exactly how we had requested. had lunch today sept. 6 started my salad halfway done noticed piece of rotting lettuce. Very glad I went alone to check out Texas Roadhouse on Street Road, Bensalem, PA. The wait for a table would have been at least an hour given the size of the SRO crowd in the entranceway and milling by the front door. Solo I was able to find the solitary empty bar stool and jump right on without putting my name on a waiting list. This was a first experience with this outfit and I was amazed by the full house and amplitude of the noise. What was going on here to make it so popular? I soon found out. No fewer than 3 bartenders stopped by to introduce themselves within the first ten minutes, with the first taking my order for a Sam's Winter Ale pint and a Smokehouse Burger. They all called me by name and seemed genuinely interested in my satisfaction. Despite the full house, and arrival of a few couples now standing around the small square bar hoping for a double vacancy, I never felt rushed nor put upon for ordering a sandwich rather than a large slab of grilled beef and dinner. And, the medium finish burger was exactly what I got. Half pounder. Hot pink core. Cheddar/American cheese blend. Tomato. Red onion. Mushroom. BBQ sauce. Sesame seed roll. Squirt of Heinz red and I was ready to dive in. It was excellent. Juicy and textured with luscious profile as I cleaved through it exposing a cross section of the large sandwich. Its 5 inch height was too much for my jaw to expand around, so I ended up using knife and fork to get the job done. Definitely fair value at $12 and change. The tag along fries were not as good, and I left most of them behind. Folks on either side of me were into their steaks, and seemed as content as me in their choices. Must admit that the aroma from all that sizzling meat was intoxicating. Leaving the house about an hour later it was even more crowded and louder than when I arrived. I wend my way through the peeps into the open air. So many families waiting to be fed; content to wait as long as it took to partake of the kitchen fare. Now I understood why. Went to Texas Roadhouse last night located in Hamilton,Nj. We ordered soda, apps and two meals. Starting with the apps: we had a Cactus Blossom and Mozzarella twists. Both were extremely delicious. The onion is a very strong onion taste and seasoned well. The mozzarella twists was absolutely delicious. They were gooey and the cheese made a perfect string chain coming off. Moving on to my salad which was kind of warm, like it might have been sitting under the heat lamp waiting to be retrieved. I ate what I could off that and waited on my main course. Main course: we both had the 6oz hand cut sirloin. He had his with loaded mashed potatoes and green beans. I had mine with non-loaded mashed potatoes. The potatoes were smooth in texture with pieces of skin left in there for the most delicious bites. Some of the best mashed potatoes I've had in a restaurant for sure. The steak was cooked to perfection and literally tasted moist and buttery and melted in your mouth. I had to force myself to stop eating it cause it was so delicious just so I could taste my ribs. The ribs were grilled perfectly as well with the meat being extremely tender and literally falling off the bone as advertised. The only disappointment I had with our meal was that our server, STEPHEN, seemed to forget we existed. We saw him at the beginning of our service when he took our drink order, than about 3 mins later to deliver the drinks and take our food order than I don't even know if he was the one who brought out any of our meal courses... and I say that because he NEVER came back to try to refill our glasses and while several other servers checked on tables nearby ours and saw our empty glasses as well, not one person asked us if we wanted refills nor did they alert our server that he may want to come back to check on us. I was PARCHED to say the least... and the BIG FAIL OF THE NIGHT.... we NEVER got any biscuits. No homemade biscuits ever made it to our table, was never told they were coming, and since our server never came back we couldn't inquire about them. I mean I'm still wondering what they taste like... but they sure looked good on all the tables we passed when we were finally leaving..... oh yeah we waited a good 20 mins to get the check too cause again... the server NEVER CAME BACK TO CHECK ON US. Outside of no bread and no drink refills, the food WAS delicious. Overall experience gets a 3 out of 5 for me. Must try again to give an opportunity for redemption. read more

Chili has right spiciness and decent amount of meat! Top sirloin, hit and miss. One was good, flat and tender to cut and chew. One was a thick chunk, odd shape, tough to cut and chew (pictured) Ribeye - I guess I got used to thicker one, but this was about 1/2" thick, not a lot of marbling, and just didn't look impressive. read more

I drove across the bridge from NJ because I had been wanting to try here since it comes up in my YouTube algorithm often. I got a T-bone steak, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. On a whole I'd rate the meal as a 2. The broccoli was an over microwaved mess, they weren't even bright green any more, they were grayish. I was hoping the mashed potatoes would be good but they also were gross. They tasted like they're seasoned with something, maybe garlic powder? Whatever it is, it's unappealing and lastly the steak, I've had better steak at a competitor and will go there from now on. I've never had a steak cooked rare that was still tough and fibrous. The only thing I could do was chew it for the flavor and spit it out. I'm still astonished at the poor quality of a steak at a STEAKHOUSE. The only saving grace was the rolls. Glad I had the chance to try them. Texas Roadhouse is a one and done for me. I wish I could get my $50 back read more

I was greeted with a nice welcome and seated right away. The server was also friendly and refilled our drinks without having to ask. Their rolls are super fresh and are baked every 3-5mins so it's usually hot when you get them. I ordered the rib-eye steak with rice and corn. My steak was cooked perfectly and my food was hot. The only issue was, we were never given bread plates and my knife had dry bbq sauce on it. I'm sure they forgot the plates and overlooked the sauce. I called the Bensalem store and was told that they do not take to- go orders over the phone. my options were order online or come to the restaurant and order it there. when I tried to download the app, I tried repeatedly to enter my email as requested, even used a alternate email and it would kick me out of the app and have to start over so I gave up and went to the restaurant and ordered my food to-go. I think it is ridiculous that they could not take the order over the phone and had to drive 15 minutes to the store and place my order, wait 28 minutes for the food then drive home. This is a restaurant that I drove by over and over again. I never thought of going to have dinner.. Until Valentines day.. Called ahead, and was told to call hour and a half before arriving. So that's what I did. Arrived at 5pm. Was seated at 5:05pm.. Fastest seating I've ever got at any restaurant.. If you are planning on waiting to be seated. When walking in to the right there are peanuts and more peanuts in a barrel to eat while waiting. But be careful the floor looks like a peanut shell mania.. And when you get seated more peanuts in a bucket... Enjoy!! So after I was seated I was welcomed by the manager because it was first time. I was giving a paper to fill out for a survery and receive coupons. Then I was welcomed by a very nice server "KRYSTAL" That brought bread and butter over to the table. I got raspberry iced tea.. That was good. With free refills. For appetizers I got the cactus blossom. With dressing.. One of by far best appetizers to get. For entree.. Got the 8oz sirloin with shrimp. And 2 sides, was loaded baked potato with house salad with Italian dressing. Everything was good. Service was good. Food came out fast. Prices are good. While on a business trip, we decided to stop at Texas Roadhouse which is one of our go to restaurants in our hometown. Unfortunately, this dining experience required us to send a dinner back (something we haven't done in years). The country fried sirloin was so tough and unchewable that I had to spit it out. The waitress brought a catfish dinner instead. We certainly understand that the restaurant is busy at 6 p.m. and things happen but the complete lack of concern by our waitress, who then agreed that the sirloin was never a good choice to get, really sealed the deal that this was not a good dining experience. From now on we'll be cautious of what we order doing a busy period. read more

Love this place! Steaks are great, good prices, and it's one of the only places I trust to cook my steak extra rare and not the medium-medium rare you'll get everywhere else. Beer on tap is good, a little pricey for what you get, but those frozen margaritas are a bargain. $6 and some change for a margarita that will give you brain freeze and make you shiver before you're even halfway through the thing. They're huge! As for appetizers you really can't go wrong, but you can go right and order that onion blossom thingamajig and those rattlesnake bites, sheesh. And those rolls! With the cinnamon butter. With the whole coronavirus going on, I've been ordering some takeout lately (same amazing quality, by the way) and they gave me 7 of them!!! I'm only one gal. I Went to Texas Roadhouse in Bensalem Pa on Street Road and experienced my first racial experience by the guest and Manager that was working today 01/21/2023. Was attacked by a white family and and the owner never addressed the white family. The owner decided to call the police and asked my family to leave as they serviced the white family as if they did nothing wrong. This is another experience of White Privileged as they think they are allowed to attack someone and not be held accountable for their action. Also if they asked my family which is black to leave but allow the white family the started the incident I might not feel it was a racial thing. read more

You get a lot of food for the price (well my entree was huge idk about everyone elses) I got the country fried chicken. It was so tasty I didn't need to add anything to it. The key to Texas Roadhouse is to use their call ahead. You don't get a reservation but your name goes on the list so when you get there the wait is not to long. We have used the take out during Covid and it was just as good. The hot rolls they give you are amazing. The food quality and quantity are above average. If you eat the rolls you will probably wind out bringing something home. The only negative is the parking lot! It's hard to get in and out of the parking lot and difficult to finding a Parking spot. With Chick-fil-A and the Old County buffet in the same shopping center the parking lot is always packed.... read more

Went to TR for their Wednesday special of $9.99 steak with two sides. When I received my check I was charged $16.99. I said I ordered the steak special and was told that the menu changed yesterday. I brought my 9 year old granddaughter here for her birthday on August 30th 2020. Our waitress was awesome. She was very attentive and very personable and I was very impressed. The food was also very good. The rating is based on the service. The food was very good but I would not say that it was a five-star restaurant but we all know all this. It was reasonably priced and it was very tasty. My granddaughter who is 9 years old ordered off of the regular menu and got the 6 oz sirloin and she loved it. I ordered the three filet medallions over rice and it was absolutely delicious too. I just can't say enough about our waitress Brianne. I never rate chains but this Texas Road House location deserves a lot of credit! I've never received bad service here no matter how busy they were, which is all the time haha. Today was exceptionally great. My boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday at 2:45 so like 15 mins before a very very big dinner rush and in between shifts but our server was amazing! Her name is Debbie and she took such great care of all her tables. She constantly refilled our waters without needing us to ask, unlimited bread was always filled, and food came our at a quick and reasonable time. When I couldn't finish my food, she offered me a box without me having to ask and even packed a box of new bread for us! The food here is always solid! For the price, you get so much, e.g I always get the 12oz NY Strip or Ribeye and they both come with two sides for 18.99, extremely filling entrees. The meat is always cooked perfectly to medium rare and seasoned well (not overly salty like some restaurants). Can't go wrong with any of their steak entrees. Appetizers are super huge so better to be shared with 4+ people or else you won't finish your entree. Lunch lasts till 6pm Monday-Thursday and till 3 Saturday and Sunday.
