Had a great meal here last night. It is a busy, busy, busy place full of families and kids. So don't expect a quiet night out here. It's loud! But everyone from the front door to our bussers were friendly and happy to help. The food was great, traditional comfort food, too.

Went to Texas Roadhouse, and as usual it was a pleasant experience! The restaurant had that lively, fun energy it's known for upbeat country music, and the smell of fresh bread and sizzling steaks filling the air. We got there before the rush on a Friday night. I ordered the steak and shrimp combo with a side of rice and a loaded baked potato. My son got the same steak and shrimp combo but with fries and applesauce. Our little one had Andy's steak with fries, and my wife got an 8 oz. sirloin with a loaded baked potato. My daughter got the regular entrée-sized Caesar salad with a loaded baked potato on the side. The food was without a doubt delicious! The staff were friendly and very helpful. My son and I requested our steaks cooked medium-rare, but they came out a bit overcooked closer to medium-well/well-done. That said, the staff were really attentive and made sure to take great care of us.

Always a great place to go to eat a good meal at a good price. Not the quietest place but knowing that going in it's ok. The food is always good and so is the service. I happen to cross paths with an employee that I felt went above and beyond when it came to customer awareness and customer service. Her name is Niyah. Even though they were very busy, she made me feel like I was a valued customer. Thank you very much for going above and beyond.

This place sucks. Burger bun was hard as a rock. My mom's burger was overcooked. My cheese fries don't even look like melted cheese, it just slides off the fries and stays intact in a blob. Waste of money.

We haven't gone back there in a long time because the steaks hadn't been good. But tonight we ordered a filet medallion and a New York steak for takeout. While my son was eating it, he realized one of the three medallions was mushy and tasted very weird, and that the meat was rotten. We were very disappointed. I hope my son will not get sick from it. On top of that, they missed a side dish, and I had to go back there to get it. The people there did not treat me well. We will never go back again!

Shout out to Lauren! Awesome host Went there at 5 pm on Wednesday, got seated quickly. Happy meal!

We ordered med rare but came out med even the picture looks med rare but it wasn't!

We rarely go to this location cuz it's like 45 min from us but we like going here b/c they seemed to have it together in service. We always sit at the bar area cuz we can get seated right of way & enjoy the sport games & music videos. We both ordered the small prime rib med rare. It came out med (see pictures) so before complaining we took a bite & it was good, good flavor so we didn't say anything. I asked for mushrooms on my steak & it came out with like 6 mushrooms (see picture). I'm like wth? They apologized & brought out a small side bowl of them. Hubby ordered the chili & requested it to come out early but it came out after our meal, ugh....

    Worse Manger EVER !!!

I would have to say that this experience has been the worst service ever. While waiting for a table the girls at the front were rude and than when we got to our table they put us in a booth with a group of 11 and 2 other people at another table when trying to talk to the manger Crisha, she became very Rude and when trying to ask questions she just walked away and lefted us there.. At this point we just decided to leave since "Crisha" was just rude we and didn't feel that we were going to get the service that we should. Crisha needs to be retrained on customer service.

We had an all around great time at roadhouse! Bella was such a wonderful server. We started with margaritas and a cactus bloom (who doesn't love a good fried onion??). I got the chicken critter salad and it was delicious!! We'll be back!

The staff was really nice and helpful. We really just came in just to get a drink and a few bites to eat but the poached pear Caprese salad was unique and pretty delicious. The food has a southern vibe. It was a great in-between stop before where we were staying and the concert venue and the surrounding downtown area was super cute so you could walk around if it's not raining if you're trying to kill time before going to a concert or just to hang out

It must have been at least 78 degrees though I'm not sure. We mentioned it to the server who blamed it on the weather. I saw one air vent which was covered by a bench for the entire front and side area which is clearly insufficient. It was so unpleasant I wouldn't eat inside again. - Service average to fine. - Thai salad - fair - the chicken was super dry. - Shrimp salad - good - Hummingbird cake - delicious It will be a long time before I return and my group felt the same way. My recommendation is to only eat outside and anticipate some great food and some midling.

In…read moreshort: The food is dope, the service is attentive, the restaurant is classy but approachable. But mostly it's for Aaron Hansen, the chef at Lone Pine. He's a semifinalist for the Best Chef: Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH) category. What an honor! I'm curious to see if he gets the medal, but even if not, hopefully this recognition will draw people to visit Lone Pine, because people really need to visit. I don't know how Lone Pine would describe its menu, but I would call it elevated comfort food. One of the things my table ordered was chicken piccata. When was the last time you saw chicken piccata on a menu?! It was delicious, and served with mashed potatoes and lettuce leaves that added a nice, fresh crunch to each bite. We also got the roasted salmon, which was served with fingerling potatoes in a pesto sauce, with arugula on the side. This, too, was delicious and rich, yet fresh. I ordered the short ribs, which came with polenta and caramelized pearl onions. The short ribs were just fatty enough, and the sauce that they were surrounded by was unctuous and wonderful to eat with the polenta. I guess I should have started this review by writing about our first course! We got the French onion soup, bloody Mary wedge salad and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad at Lone Pine is probably the best Caesar salad that I've eaten in Carmel, and maybe in all of the Indianapolis area. The thing that Lone Pine does differently and spectacularly is that they use breadcrumbs and not croutons. That makes all the difference! Granted, it does look a bit like a pile of pencil shavings on a plate, but sometimes the dowdiest foods are the best-tasting foods. The result is a satisfyingly salty, crunchy, creamy, crispy salad that I couldn't stop eating. I know I will be back to Lone Pine for the Caesar salad. We ended our meal by sharing two desserts: the apple pie panna cotta and the Lone Pine chocolate cake. Both desserts were amazing, but the cake won us all over because it looked deceptively heavy, but it was light and airy, and came with slightly sweet whipped cream. The service at Lone Pine is exceptional. They pay attention to detail here, and all of the little things are taken care of. Our server gave us just enough time between courses. Our water was refilled unobtrusively. We didn't get asked whether we've dined there before (because who cares?) and the menu wasn't over-explained (thank goodness, because I can indeed read). One thing we also noticed that we appreciated: The music was just loud enough to hear it, but not loud enough to notice it too much! It's these little things that come together to make a great dining experience.

Out of 6 two tried a "house specialty" both were dissatisfied. Two had a bottle of wine and two had normal drinks. Appetizer of meat balls was good. 3 meatballs and sauce with bread. We wish we had ordered meatballs with a side of spaghetti. It would have been better than our dinners. The dishes are unique. They look flat but have a center that makes it look like a lot of food. It isn't. I ordered the clam over pasta. There were 6 cherry stone clams and they were delicious. When I got to the pasta, the bottom of the bowl was filled with olive oil. I could not eat the pasta; the oil was so thick that it actually dripped when I rolled the pasta. My husband ordered some kind of grated cheese and olive oil. It was good at first but as it cooled the cheese had melted and the oil had fallen to the bottom of the bowl. It was nasty. Not mac and cheese, not parm on top of olive oil tossed pasta, I don't know what it was. I thought it should be sent back but he didn't want to do so. Now dessert, here's a whole new story. Spumoni ice cream, rolled in chocolate and frozen. A small container of espresso is poured over it. I ordered a second shot of espresso ($3.75) to finish it off. Next time, this will be my entree. Two drinks, two glasses wine, one appetizer, crappy pasta and wonderful dessert. $200.00 bill with tip. Parking lot is very small, plan ahead. Will we go back again? Maybe for the dessert. I was very disappointed and really had hoped for an outstanding dinner. You may be wiser, but we have had much better. (Not dessert!)
