It's been quite a while since I've been to a Red Lobster but today my daughter really wanted some seafood so we thought ok let's go. The Red Lobster I remember was relatively affordable but those days are obviously in the past! I should have gone to the expensive local restaurant! For two people for lunch without any alcoholic drinks we spent 120$ with an 18% tip! The food was fine... I had the surf and turf and I will say the chef did a great job on the steak as it was a perfect med/rare. My daughter had a bar harbor pasta with muscles and shrimp and a lobster tail.. (it was lobster fest) The server was very nice and did a great job. Soooo all in all it was fine... but good lord I felt I was fleeced at check out!

We had a reservation, so we were able to be seated immediately. It was a nicely decorated and warm atmosphere with current music playing. The restaurant was very clean. I went to the bathroom after ordering a classic margarita on the rocks and a water. The bathroom was a nice size, plenty of room to move around with two sinks and hand soap with paper towel close by. The water didn't warm up much while I was washing my hands and it sprayed out kind of fast causing water to spray everywhere besides just on my hands. It was an automatic sensor type faucet that I'm not too fond of, but it got my hands clean. Other than that, the bathroom seemed clean. We started off with their traditional cheddar bay biscuits. They were nice and warm, soft yet had a nice light crunch to them, love the cheesy garlic taste of those biscuits! My margarita was really tasty as well, I just wish it had more salt on the rim, but it otherwise tasted nice with a lime wedge on the edge that I put into the glass. For the entree, I had the grilled Maine lobster tail, skewered shrimp, and Atlantic salmon, all finished with a brown butter sauce, which all had its own seasoning and garnish and was on a bed of rice pilaf. For my two sides, I had creamy lobster mashed potatoes that had a creamy sauce and bits of lobster both in it and on top as well as a side salad with ranch dressing; the salad came out first. The salad was fresh, crisp, and colorful with mixed greens, tomatoes, cheese, and soft, but crunchy croutons. The ranch dressing had a nice creamy tang to it that complemented the salad well. I very much enjoyed the tender cooked rice that came with the entree. The lobster and shrimp were both hot and juicy and nicely seasoned. While the salmon was seasoned nicely and all of the food had a good presentation, I was slightly disappointed in the salmon. I love a good juicy grilled salmon, but this was slightly overcooked. The seasoning helped it a little, but I couldn't finish it because it was a little dry on the inside due to being slightly overcooked. I loved my creamy lobster mashed potatoes. The sauce was very nice and had a sort of garlicky taste to it, the bits of lobster were nice and juicy and the mashed potatoes were perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. My wife got the shrimp linguini Alfredo as well as a side salad with blue cheese dressing. Her salad came out same time as my salad and she enjoyed her salad just as much as I enjoyed mine. Her entree had tender, juicy shrimp, in a creamy garlic Alfredo sauce on a bed of perfectly cooked linguini. Her serving of the dish was a big one, so she ate what she could and took the rest home with one of the cheddar bay biscuits. She very much enjoyed her meal. Our server, Jazmine was very friendly, and attentive, always making sure we were doing well with our meals. I'm a member of the Red Lobster rewards club because I love the place. It's just a bit pricey, so we only go there once or twice a year. Despite the salmon being a little on the dry side, I will still return. I just won't get that dish again.

Steak & Lobster - Wednesday special

It has been several years since I've visited Red Lobster, but with all of the recent changes announced in the media we decided to give it a try after some shopping in Castleton. It wasn't crowded on this Wednesday afternoon. We got there after 5:00pm, but just before Happy Hour ended. We decided to try their $5 alcoholic lemonade drink special. It was pretty good. I decided to go with the Ultimate Spend Less Shrimp special for $15.99. It came with Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, and Popcorn Shrimp with Chesapeake Fries. My mother got the Wednesday special of steak and lobster. The portions were large and we both ended up taking some home. I actually enjoyed my meal more the next day. The biscuits were just as good as I remembered. Our waitress was Mary and she was very attentive. She even acted as a hostess to seat us when she noticed the host was tied up with a large party from a nearby nursing home. Overall it was a good dinner experience and reasonably priced.

With no plans for Christmas this year, I started exploring options for lunch since the idea of eating at home had no appeal. I knew the usual suspects would be open - Chinese restaurants, The Journey, Denny's, and probably Waffle House or IHOP. However, I was really in the mood for something different and was pleased to see that Red Lobster was open for special hours. I stopped in for a late lunch. The regular menu was available and I was pleased that it was steady but there was no line. I was seated at a four-top near the entrance, though Red Lobster has some dividers and it's generally pretty private. There's accessible parking near the entrance. The entryway doors are a tad heavy, however, they're workable. Seating was easily accessible. I opted for the fish n' chips - one large hand-battered, wild-caught cod along with chesapeake fries, two hush puppies, and a healthy serving of coleslaw. Of course, the meal starts off with their Cheddar Bay biscuits. I also ordered my usual unsweetened iced tea. I feel for anyone working Christmas, however, the team was effective, efficient, and generally in good spirits. Service was good, though not necessarily great. I felt the same about the meal - good but not necessarily great. My server checked on me a couple times, though did bring the check before asking me if I wanted a tea refill (then brought the refill in a "to go" cup when I intended to linger a bit). It was a minor faux pas. While I was surprised the fish was only one piece, I will acknowledge it was a pretty good sized piece of fish and it was cooked well. I'm not sure when they added their hush puppies back, but I loved those as a kid and having them back brought a definite sense of nostalgia. This was a definite nice change of pace and I really enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and I had some time to read during lunch. As I was spending the holiday alone, it was nice to be in a public environment without being overwhelmed by it like happens in many restaurants. While seafood isn't always my thing, once in a while it really hits the spot and that happened here. While this wasn't the best experience I've had, it was a solidly good one and a great way to spend a Christmas lunch.

I haven't been to red lobster in quite some time. Plenty of parking along with the large restaurant. I sat at the bar, Steve was the bartender. He was very friendly and attentive. Lunch crowd was small. I ordered the coconut shrimp with a side salad. The side salad was as good, along with the biscuits. Biscuits taste amazing. The shrimp were butterflied and servers with a pina coloda sauce. I'm used to an orange marmalade from another restaurant so was not a fan at first. But once I got my mental block, I really liked it. I'm glad I stopped by, good food at a reasonable price.

Yuck!!! Won't be back. Horrible !

My husband and I went for a date night on a Monday night. There was no wait. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, and professional. My husband ordered the Monday special 'All you can eat shrimp for $25'. He definitely enjoyed the options. His favorite was the coconut shrimp and the shrimp scampi. I ordered the lobster linguine. I was not impressed with the sauce, next time I'd ask for lobster Alfredo. It was quiet, so we were able have conversations very easily. The cheddar biscuits melt in your mouth! It's hard to not fill up on those and ruin your appetite before your entree.

We went there b/c it was Tuesday & Tuesdays are $25 1lb crab legs deal. It was really good but a bit messy... Hubby ordered the "Ultimate Spendless Shrimp" meal for $22.99 he totally enjoyed it. Once again I forgot to take pictures of our meal... =(

Red Lobster has been around forever and they continue to draw crowds. The lunch specials make the prices more reasonable. Since the seafood quality is high, dinner prices reflect freshness of the choices. My lunch server, Kasandra, was fantastic! The ambiance is typical of a casual dining restaurant. There's a soundtrack of primarily 1970s music playing in the background. Overall a very tasty relaxing lunch experience for one!

Enjoyed a birthday lunch for my sister during the Thanksgiving week. Red Lobster remains an old school seafood restaurant that you can always count on. The food was delicious and the cheddar garlic biscuits remain a signature...YUM! Our waitress was friendly and the service was fast, despite the holiday and lunch crowd. The ambiance was holiday friendly. We really enjoyed the Christmas music and decor.

We stopped by for lunch last Saturday. The service was fantastic and the food tasted great. However, we ended up getting terrible food poisoning. It started on Sunday night and lasted until Tuesday night. Our symptoms were: fever, chills, hot flashes, vomiting, diarrhea, and a headache. We both ate the coconut shrimp, so it must have been contaminated. Such a bummer because it was such a great experience outside of that!

My experience today was DEFINITELY better than last weeks. I was greeted upon entry. We were seated immediately. The waitress and the manager at the front desk were both friendly and had smiles on their face. Our food came out hot and flavorful. I wasn't lacking the alfredo sauce this time. We left stuffed and happy. I ordered linguine with alfredo sauce and brussel sprouts. My son ordered shrimp alfredo, dragon shrimp, and fries. My bill was under $40 for the both of us, and that included our drinks.

It took some time for us all to order and start getting our drinks. However, the food started coming out pretty quickly. I ordered the Plant Power with cajun seasoning at the medium spice level with a side of boiled eggs. It was so delicious! It came out piping hot and covered in seasoning. The plant power comes with a generous amount of corn, boiled potatoes, and broccoli. The boiled eggs were overcooked, though, and they were too hot to eat for awhile, though. They burned my fingers! I loved the flavor and didn't think it was spicy at all, though. I was worried that the veggie plate would be underwhelming in comparison to the seafood boils that everyone else ordered but I think I actually enjoyed it the most lol Since they knew we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, they gave a gift card for $15 off his next visit. They also have a neon lit birthday sign and our server lead us in singing the Birthday song -- if you don't like that kind of attention, don't tell them lol

Staff was friendly and we were sat right away, we were however sat in the wrong section and had to move after getting settled. But no worries, we were understanding! I loved the decor, very fitting for a seafood spot. And when we were sat we received a bucket with all the tools needed to get into the meal: wipes, gloves, bibs, plates, forks, scissors. Our drink menu was well loved, and hard to read. I opted for the flying tiger drink, and the server laughed a little and walked if that's what I wanted. I was a bit confused, but let me tell you it's delicious but STRONG. We started off with Mozerella sticks and Cajun fries. The Mozerella sticks were served with marinara, and were good but nothing special. The fries came with tartar sauce, and were some of the best fries I've had! As for the reason we came, the seafood boil. I got the Plant Power (potato, corn, broccoli) and added boiled eggs. I got it "juicy style" which is all of the seasonings, and chose medium for my spice level. Everything was great, the eggs were over cooked a bit, but good nonetheless. My spouse got the Mr Captain (Snow crab, sausage, shrimp, potato, corn, egg) with the same spice & level. He was not pleased with the shrimp overall, and could have done without it overall. I tried some of the crab, and can confidently say it was the best thing we ordered and I am a huge fan of crab now! The crab wasn't as meat-y as we hoped and overall it was a lot of work to crack open for such a small amount of meat. Since we are new to the seafood scene, I'm not sure if it's normal to have that little of meat in snow crab. Overall, we will be coming again to try more things. The must haves for us would be crab (duh!) and those Cajun fries!

The arrival was completely seamless, thanks to a sweet little dedicated parking lot, and the exterior of the venue is just as cute as a button. The moment I crossed the threshold, the lovely cashier greeted me with the warmest energy and elegantly walked me through the day's catch. What truly blew me away and frankly, brought a little tear to my eye was the sheer depth of knowledge and passion they share about their sourcing. They explained exactly where the fish came from and how it was caught with such beautiful, undivided commitment. The seafood on display just looked sad not fresh, not vibrant, not the kind of stuff that makes you want to throw something in a bag and take it home to cook. I fully understand we're landlocked in Indiana and truly fresh seafood is a challenge, but if that's your entire concept, the product has to be able to hold its own. Out of the beverages, I enjoyed the Strawberry Aperol Spritz the most. It was refreshing, sweet and was the perfect end to a wonderful meal experience. Customer Service: Because this was an event there were multiple waiters/waitresses but they handled the room with grace!! We were checked on us consistently and they were never overbearing. The food was promptly provided and courses replaced in a timely manner. Thank you Bonefish staff for the top-tier service! Ambiance: Bonefish is typically upscale causal to me but everyone is free to come as they are! It is family friendly for all ages. The decor gives an intimate open dining vibe. This place is perfect for any occasion, celebration, birthday, date night, family dinner - whatever your heart desires.

2 trips to Slapfish in two days! How lucky am I? The bottom line is that while the delicious food…read moreand menu are the same, the vibe is very different. Today, I'm in the Fishers District location. Yesterday I met a friend at Carmel Market District location. It was lunchtime and they attract shoppers looking for a snack. Their other customers are connected with IU Hospital Carmel. It's table service after you order at the counter with a self-service beverage. Fishers District is more of an open-air restaurant concept. The front window opens. There are patio tables, so you can see and be seen. (Very Fishers District--outdoor seating is "de rigueur" at Fishers District eateries.) I tried a cup of the clam chowder with my fish tacos--it was creamy and delicious! I highly recommend the establishment and both locations.

We had ordered DoorDash from the downtown location a couple years ago. So when we were in area of…read morethis location we decided to give them a try. Visited on New Years Day and they weren't busy at all. We were greeted and seated promptly Our server was wonderful. He gave recommendations and was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. They have a bar and beers on tap However we opted for Coke Zero today App- lobster crab dip was creamy and had lots of meat in it. Seasoned perfectly. The homemade chips are crunchy like a kettle chip and dusted with old bay seasoning. Portion was large enough for 2-3 people Clobster grilled cheese- filled with lots of lobster and crab very cheesy and toasted perfectly. Fries are fresh natural cut and dusted with old bay. I would have preferred them to have been cooked a little longer however that is just a personal preference. Surf and turf burger- burger lacked salt but that yet again could be a personal preference other than that it was really good. Lots of lobster meat on top. The tomatoes were fresh. The caramelized onions were a perfect addition. This is a large portion item. The decor is so cute and authentically pleasing. Overall amazing experience and will be back. Also if you have the toast app be sure to put your phone number in as I earned 8$ to use on a future purchase.
