Poor service and the restaurant has issues with getting food to your party's table at the same time . Four of us ordered house salad and one ordered Caesar salad . The Caesar did not come out till after we weee done with the house salads . Then we had issues with the steaks . The whole experience was excellent! Only had 20-30 min wait in the evening. Our server was so on point. She helped us to celebrate my triplet nephews' birthday. She was so attentive and everything came out quickly from the drinks, appetizer, main dishes, and dessert. I love Texas Roadhouse but I'm just upset with this location because I tried to come to dine in today (11/04) , I had tried going to a different location but they were closing early for a staff meeting so I called this Glendale location to make sure they weren't also closing early and the hostess that picked up stated that they were open until 10 today and were NOT closing early. Had some server but I dont even remember what her name was thats how quick our visit was.To start the server only brought us bread rolls once and i waived her down to ask for some more and i received a condescending look.She proceeded to go to all her other tables first and only attended them and ignored us. She then proceeded to go to the table in front of us and eat food of the people sitting there while working! I can only assume these were her friends but still attend us first at least. This is one our favorite places. It's my daughter's all time favorite so when I asked her where she wanted to go for her 18th birthday she didn't hesitate. I called to make a reservation as she wanted a family only dinner so I'd need a space for about 15 people and they don't do it. They claim it's company policy. Then I called day of to be put on their wait list umm, isn't that basically a friggin reservation?! So we show up at our time and I'm told that our whole party has to be here. Again "company policy" I tell them that's a stupid policy. We don't all live together. I don't know when they're all going to be here. It's a family gathering not a mandatory business meeting. We finally get seated and it's loud. Waiter comes. He's not very personable and talks way too soft for this environment. He gets our drinks and orders our food. Never comes back to check on us or fill our empty drinks. The only re fill we got was when he brought our food. The food was sub par. Steak is supposed to be juicy and tender not a dry slab of nothing that crumbles and feels gritty. Tastes like the meat was freezer burned. Not just mine but my daughters. My husband's and my son's. We were seated quickly and the hostess was very pleasant. Our server, though, was not good at all. She took our order and, then, we truly did not have her come by our table again until we had sat with dirty dishes and empty drink glasses for a good 15 minutes. Our food was brought out by someone else and that was the last person we saw for the remainder of the of our time there until I flagged our server down for the check. I had even stacked the dishes up and put them to the end of the table. When she brought the check, she didn't even remove any of the dishes. The wait was ridiculous which was our fault because you can check in online and not wait there. The service was not great. The rare steak was way overcooked so we waited 20 min for another one. We were told it would be right out and the manager was coming over to inquire and apologize. He walked out with the steak 20 min later and asked my friend to cut into it. She obliged. It actually was quite delicious but he never apologized and there was no compensation for anything. Then we sat there for another 20 minutes waiting for our bills (separate checks-we were those people thanks to ONE person in our party. The waitress finally comes over and asks if we needed anything more. We told her we wanted to pay to which she replied, "Oh, you pay on this machine." So how do we know which bill was which? She told us they went in number order as to how we were seated at the table. That turned out to be incorrect. Once we got the bills figured out and paid, we exited. It was about a 2.5 hour process. It is quite a noisy and chaotic place. Guess I'm just old. I do love the dancing by the wait staff. But if you need something, you get to wait for the dance to end. read more

Usually drive 7 miles to Estrella location but this one opened 3 miles from me! Great, right? Nope. Amanda was bartending. Sat long enough without even being acknowledged that I almost walked out. Then, manager came over and got my drink for me. Still no Amanda. Finally, because she was so busy talking to the younger males, I finally asked if she could take my order if she got a minute. (Again, she was the bartender but had not acknowledged me. OK, I am 60 and millennials tend to ignore those that ACTUALLY have money to tip for SERVICE rendered. I am an Awesome tipper IF they served me.) She took my order but once my dinner came, she NEVER came and asked me if my dinner was OK, so, I had to deal with med to well done, vs med RARE that I ordered. Couldn't deal but taking it home to my dog. He won't complain! Had she taken time to check with her customers once they get their food, she could have made it right. Estrella location ALWAYS come over couple minutes after food delivered to check on it. Yes, I have had to send it back but they are all over u for service. This person will NOT be back to this location. I will ALWAYS drive out of my way for EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE, and that is at the ESTRELLA LOCATION. Maybe this is Amanda's first server/bartending job and she will improve over time. But, without a new cook, this place will go under. Guy next to me also complained cuz he ordered Ribeye well done and was medium. Again, she is NOT attentive to older people so he also could not send it back. Customers are all YOUR bosses so should ALL get attention. Without ALL of us, the business fails. My boyfriend and I went to get a later lunch today and never received our food. We sat at the bar with Amanda who completely forgot to put our food in. After waiting for 40 mins we asked her where the food was and she told us she would go and check cause the kitchen was taking too long. After that we watched her FINALLY put the order in 40 mins we say her go and say something to the manager Lou who then came over to us and told us he was sorry and that he would take care of the food. He gave us a check for our apps and drinks , while we were waiting for the food to come out. Another 30 mins later we asked Amanda again where the food was and if we could get it to go since we had been waiting over an hour for our food. She proceeded to tell us Lou cancelled it and we weren't going to get food. She then brought Lou back over and he told us it was a miscommunication and gave us 10% off coupon. After wasting 2 hours there and only getting 1 drink each and an app we get 10% off for a later visit (we won't be going back). I've never been to a Texas Roadhouse and was excited to use a gift card I received. We showed up at 715 on 10/5 and asked for a table for 6. Hostess stated it would probably be quicker to get the table in the bar once it was available and she would let us know, (30-40 minutes) no big deal it's a Saturday night. Well, we noticed that people arriving after we did were getting sat and we asked the hostess about it. Come to find out, they were waiting for a specific table in the bar to open instead of seating us anywhere that was available. We told her we could sit anywhere and finally got seated at 815. Excited to try my first meal at TR, I ordered the bone in ribeye, medium rare! First steak to come out was blue, not even rare. Asked them to get that a little closer to medium rare and they obliged. Brought it out about 10 minutes later and it was well done. The manager had brought it out and I cut it in front of him and we both kind of chuckled. He said he'll get another steak! About 15 minutes later another steak was brought out and again, rare. He told me to hang tight and he'll bring it back out cooked.... I said ok! About 3 minutes later told the server to not worry about it, I'll cut my losses and feast on the rolls at the table. Manager comes back out says, "I've comped the steak, it'll be out in a box in 5 minutes!" 4th time is a charm, right? Nope. Steak was like shoe leather, just ended up leaving it in the box on the table. Are your cooks trained? I'm sure it was embarrassing for the manager, who was a rockstar the whole time, but cooking a steak to medium rare isn't difficult. Maybe invest in some meat probes? We came to the new Texas Roadhouse at the Westgate/Glendale location to celebrate our daughter's birthday and to our surprise, she did not get a free dessert because the franchise owner for this location "opted out of giving free desserts for birthday celebrations." Something so simple that most Texas Roadhouse Restaurants do to make someone's special day was robbed from my daughter by the owner. This was my first time coming here and most definitely my last. I'd rather go to the Texas Roadhouse in Goodyear or Arrowhead location where I've seen that they do offer a celebratory dessert to those celebrating their birthdays, especially to a child and those owners deserve my money. So if you have a birthday celebration coming up, and you are looking forward to a birthday dessert (the way my daughter was), avoid this Texas Roadhouse. Also, they didn't disclose this information until I asked why she wasn't offered a dessert. Just thought I'd let others know as an FYI so you're not shocked by the rude manager that couldn't even wish my daughter happy birthday when we asked. read more
