This was my very first time ever at Texas Roadhouse. I heard lots of positive reviews from friends and colleagues so we decided to go after work recently. Believe the hype! It was delicious. At that time it was extremely busy and yet we were seated quickly and greeted by the manager, (I think his name was Joe?) and was as nice as could be, even brought us a hot fresh basket of those famous rolls! Our server was delightful and took excellent care of us and we had seven at our table so she was great! Super friendly, attentive, she really went all out with great service. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and also got two more dinners to bring home which were also excellent. Try everything! You will not be disappointed. Five stars from me! I've been going here often lately after never having been to a Texas Roadhouse prior to 2016. And I am quite impressed with this restaurant. The first thing I noticed was the sheer number of workers. They must have literally 20-25 servers here. Hence the service is pretty quick which is always awesome. I've ordered a ribeye here which was cooked just as requested. I've also had the beef tips, chili, and fried pickles. I enjoyed everything here. The complimentary rolls and cinammon butter are so good that I would come here just for them. What can't you love about TR! It is always busy and there is a wait, but you can skip the line but adding yourself to the list via the app or website. Lots of workers and large menu. Out of all the times I've been there, only had "okay" service once. Every other time it's been great. This is a restaurant that doesn't look like it was even slightly impacted by the pandemic. Food still just as good and fresh. Good meal prices with two sides. Best baked potatoes (seriously)! Lots of parking outside and they even added lots of benches and seating space outside for customers while waiting. Oh can't forget the bread is delicious. Even better with cinnamon butter. I went to Texas Roadhouse in Harvey, La on February 24, 2024 it was the worst experience I've had at this location. The restaurant was not clean. Food, napkins, menus under tables as far as the eye could see. Cushion seats torn. The bus boy who was cleaning the tables was slinging the items (food, ice, etc) left on the floor and and across to my table and nearby tables. The menu that was on the floor was not wipe off or replaced. It was put back on the table. When the next guest was seated they had to wipe off the menus. Evidently it was not clean from being on the floor. Sadly, the customer had no idea where the menu was before. My silverware had dried food on it. Had to ask for more silverware. I ordered the steak and rib. The steak was okay but the rib was dry & burnt. The waitress took forever to return to refill drinks. The service was so bad that the people across from me decided to leave. Another table asked to order for take out. It was extremely busy but the cleanliness, burnt food, bus boy slinging leftover on table around was just terrible. The manager was in the area and did nothing. Once I received my food and along with the cleanliness of the facility, I did not stay. I paid my bill and left. I will not return anytime soon if at all. I hope this review make it to the right person(s) to get immediate changes. Corporate need to address training staff, cleaning tables appropriately by wiping tables down into a bin instead of slinging it around. Sanitize tables & seats. Keep in mind covid is still around. I've ate at Texas Roadhouse plenty of times until I had a slip & fall. The manager seen me fall at Texas Roadhouse in New Orleans, LA Gretna location. She immediately came to my aide & wrote up the incident report. I was on crutches at the time, the floors was filthy with bbq sauce and ketchup. I had recently just broke my ankle. Kathy Ramyer reached out to me regarding my fall & a claim was filed. I have been back & forth with Ms. Raymer sent in all medical docs all for her to deny my claim. she stated "We have reviewed the records from Urgent Care and found that there was no mention of a previous injury to the ankle and as such, we could not determine if issue with your ankle was related to this incident. While there was mention of the previous fracture at the ER the following day, there was no change in the course of treatment and as stated previously the incident at Texas Roadhouse was never mentioned to the treating physician caring for the original injury. Based on this, our position has not changed and the denial will stand." Mind you my medical docs mention the fall at Texas Roadhouse! it wasn't a secret I fell! Kathy Raymer Was so horrible to work with, every week she was out of town per her voicemail/ email she wouldn't respond for weeks at a time. I had a legitimate fall & didn't see the need to employ a lawyer because I thought they'd do right by me & they decided not to even care because their store was horribly dirty & my crutches caught crap on the floor & I fell. I thought maybe because I'm black she's denying my claim. I went into urgent care & the hospital in sooo much pain my ankle had swollen up soo bad I was embarrassed I was placed on more meds I accumulated more medical bills. & being that I previously broke my ankle it added fuel to the fire I was already seeing a physician and going to therapy. Since the fall my back was killing me i provided all documentation & Raymer didn't help at all!!! Don't support Texas Roadhouse!!! They don't care about their customers . And because I didn't accumulate extra medical bills I won't be compensated for any pain / suffering. Came to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and was not too bad for a franchised steak house. I was able to do call ahead seating, which was a lifesaver as it was very busy around 6:30pm. Only waited for about five minutes after telling the hostess my call ahead seating number. Once seated you are given complimentary bread with cinnamon butter, which is always delicious! The bread comes warm and the cinnamon butter is slightly sweet. For appetizer, we got the cactus blossom, which is basically a large fried onion served with a Cajun horseradish sauce. It was presently nicely and was not greasy as other cactus blossoms I've had in the past. Very simple and not too bad. For entrée, I got a Texas size combo (which comes with 2 sides). I choose the ribeye 10 oz with ribs, house salad and baked potato. For $21.99, this was a feast! My ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare and seasoned well. Ribs were large but kind of dry. Corona service is horrible. They don't answer the phone. They tell you to go online. But after you order it tells you orders over $80 you must call. Updated!! Finally got through after 30mins. Extremely disappointed that I placed my order at 3:30 for a 4:40 pick up time because this location is always extremely late with having to go orders ready. I checked in at 4:35 and did not actually get my order until 5:20. So many people came and left with their food while I waited. I'm positive they didn't start cooking our order until I checked in. While waiting we saw two other people with orders that were not filled correctly.
