My service at Texas Roadhouse tonight was phenomenal. From my experienced waitress who was knowledgeable of the menu, quick to service and most hospitable. The manager on duty attended to my steak perfection personally and was extra kind with a loaded mash on the house for the very minimal wait. The atmosphere is lively & fun, the steaks are always great, the service is normally very good, and the prices are very reasonable. People normally are the biggest tell for me. On this visit I had two very good Texas Roadhouse representatives that made my visit peasant. 'Abbie' worked up front and started off my visit with exceptional service. She was genuinely friendly/pleasant, very articulate/well spoken, had a great smile, & was very helpful getting me started off on a great TR experience. 'Grace' was my waitress behind the bar. Ordered medium rare bone in ribeye, and came out rare. Brought back to the kitchen to re-grilled, but the server didn't bring it back until my whole party was almost finished with their food. The steak they brought back was cold also. In addition we had a party of six. Separated Cheques, didn't realize 18% gratuity was included already, and tipped extra. Talked to the manager on duty, printed out a new Receipt and was promised would get the extra tip back. Payment now has been processed but the extra tip wasn't refunded. This has to be the worse place to get a steak if you're craving for one. Besides the affordable prices their service sucks azz when getting my steak cooked medium. It would always come out medium rare or well done and cold. Also one time me and my wife waited about 45 minutes to get seated to having to wait after another guest that sat after us get their food, ate and left. Not only the wait on food was horrible but both our steaks came out cooked wrong. We wanted both medium steaks. My wife's steak came out well done while mine came out rare. The manager acted like it wasn't a big deal for which a complimentary in some sort would be appreciated. I stopped at TRH twice this week. The first time I had dinner at the bar. The bartender forgot to put my order in. So, I waited an extra 20 minutes until she remembered to put my order in. Once my steak came out, one of my sides was missing. I was basically done with my food by the time my potatoes came out. My ribeye was extremely fatty, which I didn't mind because it is one of the fatter cuts of meat. I did wish that potatoes came out with the steak, though. I stopped by again a few days later. We went tonight 3/10 for my little girls birthday. We like to go to TR whenever we're on the WB. Tonight was my Angel's actual birthday and she wanted STEAK!! We used the call ahead seating as they are always busy!! We were seated within minutes after arrival. Their Covid precautions are impressive. No loitering in the lobby, as used to be the norm. EVERY table and booth is depressed by clear plastic dividers. They're kept exceptionally clean. The staff is courteous and as efficient as ever and ALL MASKED. I always love walking by the fresh cuts of steak on display in the front. As usual, the server shows up with a basket of rolls with that whipped cinnamon butter. I could just eat those and leave. One of the things I most look forward to is the dinner salad. The plates are chilled and that makes a big difference. The croutons and dressing are the best!!! I'm not really a salad freak but I truly enjoy theirs. Since there were 5 of us, we ordered the onion bloom and it was one of the best I've had. Cut and seasoned and fried perfectly. I'm posting pics of the salad and the onion bc when the steaks hit the table it was pandemonium. The waitstaff keeps the table clear of clutter. As always, my steak was cooked just as I ordered it. So my dad absolutely loves Texas Road House. The peanuts really excite him for some odd reason ‍. So we got there with a party of 10 but my dad happens to be so popular that 3 other ppl came making us a party of 13. The hostess who showed us to the table said we can just add chairs to the end of the larger booths. When the server came she introduced herself and left and came back with Bill. Bill is the sales manager. Bill said that it is their policy not to have a party of more than 10. He said we can seat the other 3 at another table across the restaurant . We were ok with that except for the fact that the other table was across the restaurant. There was a table near us and the patrons were paying. We asked if we could have that table and Bill said "No" Bill was curt and stated that "I can't seat them at a separate table because you all would be a party of 13 as opposed to 10" we asked how if we are all paying separately....... the other 3 ppl got up and left. Bill heard my sister and I chatting about it and proceeded to tell me what his policy started and I politely told him that I was speaking with my sister...... The food at this location are always good. I always get chicken salad, my nephew a burger, and an appetizer. the service is a hit or miss. The management stopped by everyone table to see how everyone food was except for ours and the one behind us. All she did was gave us a look and walked away ‍. Also, the server was barely around. There's something about Texas Roadhouse that's makes everybody want to go on weekend evenings lol. We arrived right after a giant bus with a lot of kids pulled up. To prevent the hassle of dealing with that, we sat at the bar. There were 3 bartenders and all were equally helpful. However, the drinks were inconsistently made. Between the 2 guests, we had chicken tenders, T-bone steak, loaded baked potatoes, side salad, and corn. They had me at free. This place just moved into my top three list of family restaurants. Great food, great service and affordable. I hadn't been to any Texas Roadhouse since before Katrina when there was a location in New Orleans east. My wife had a taste for it, so we went there tonight. Every single item was on point (ribeye, ribs, sirloin, filet, grilled shrimp, chili, loaded baked potato, house salad, bread, raspberry lemonade, peach lemonade, Arnold Palmer). Everything was seasoned well, fresh, and tender. Just mmm, mmm, mmm good. Our server Hooang was also great. He was fast, efficient and personable. There was just one issue. Our food was almost an hour late. My family was enjoying each other's company that we didn't really complain. However, the point came when we were like where is our food? Customers who came in after us were being served. My wife and I even got into a conversation about what we should ask for: free app, free dessert, comp an entree, coupon for free app on next visit? When I asked the server what were they going to do to compensate us, he said he would call the manager over. I didn't complain, just asked nicely. The manager, Joe, came over, apologized for what happened, and comped the entire meal...$75! Oh yeah! Texas Roadhouse just pulled an Apple move. They have me as a customer for life. Don't judge me - sometimes you need a nice warm roll with honey cinnamon butter. And Texas Roadhouse totally hit the spot. Ordered online through their website and the process was pretty seamless, does require you to pay online with a credit card and you can also leave a tip on there (which if you don't do especially during this time, you suck). Ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken and Mushroom Jack Chicken Sandwich - everything with the chicken came separate so that your gravy and chicken wasn't a pile of mush. Salad was great, as always. Seriously - why do TXRH salads taste so damn good? The chicken sandwich looked good, but didn't taste. Pick up process was quick and easy. You check in with one of their staff members and they assign you a spot to wait. Their team brings the food out to you. My time for pick up was 4:30 and I got it at 4:35. If you're able to pick up early before dinner rush, probably the best thing to do since I've read in previous reviews they do get busy especially on weekends. There's nowhere else I could go with 3 other people and get out for $144 ($178 with tip). We had so much food that I'll be eating for days. All the employees here are busting their asses. I went to pickup my online order, I checked it which I always do because SOMETHINGS ALWAYS MISSING. And once again you guys didn't disappoint it was MISSING BREAD AND CHILI.
