Everything come out cold how does except for the cactus blossom had to send this chili back and it come out just lukewarm it was not hot order a steak medium rare steak come out it was it was medium. I don't know what's going on with this place but the last couple times I've been here everything's been wrong. I do not recommend this place at all. No more. I guess. Myself, girlfriend, my daughter, my sister, my girlfriend's son & his girlfriend went to the Texas Roadhouse restaurant on 3-31-2026 for my girlfriend's birthday dinner at 5:00pm. What started out as a joyous evening soon turned out to be a waste of time and money. First of all, we were served rolls without any silverware. After ordering our meal, after some time, we had to flag down our waitress to get our silverware and napkins. What the waitress showed up with, after another moment of time, was plastic utensils for everyone. Really??? Plastic forks and knives to cut the steaks that we ordered. Really??? The waitress gave me a questionable look when I asked to speak with the manager. Really??? I had to ask her several times, repeating that I was serious. After another long moment of time, the manager showed up. I asked him if we were supposed to cut the steaks with plastic knives and forks, which he came up with a sop story that their dishwasher (I guess they can only afford 1 person and do not have a dishwasher machine) had called off for the day and that they were hoping to have clean real silverware sometime soon. He also had a "don't care attitude" about the issue and walked away without an apology. That was the only time the manager came to check on us. The meal was just "ok" and nothing that we had been used to before at the same Texas Roadhouse. As we were leaving, my girlfriend's son went to use the men's restroom. He came back and said the bathroom was worse than a "gas-station" restroom and the smell was beyond terrible. His girlfriend said the same thing about the women's restroom. The son stopped and interrupted the manager, who was b/s with 2 employees sitting at a table. Again, the manager had a "couldn't care less" attitude, and then we left, with one last remark that we would NOT be coming back there again. As I write this review, I noticed that there were a lot of bad reviews. Wish I had seen them before we went there. I hope the regional people see all of these reviews and the local manager gets a new look at life in a new profession. read more

We really only go to TR for the rolls and the mixed drinks. They never miss. I've dined in twice and ordered to go once from this location and it's just really sub-par. Small portion sizes and/or food overcooked. It's just not worth it. read more

Phenomenal experience!!! Rachel was the very best server we've ever had at TRH and my husband goes to different ones about once every week or two. It said even more about her excellence that she's only worked there 3 months! She greeted us within about 10 seconds of sitting down and was so friendly. She happened to notice I was wearing a shirt from Valor Fitness (a recovery company) which said "Sober, Clean, Serene" and she smiled and said "I guess you probably aren't interested in a cold beer then." That's the FIRST TIME at any restaurant in almost 5 years of sobriety someone's acknowledged any of my shirts like this. I really appreciated not having to listen to a schpeel about drinks. She took our beverage orders and made a great suggestion for an app. She was quick to get us our drinks and plan for refills with extra limes. Apps came quick and when she noticed our food wasn't out as quickly as she'd like she came to check in with us and then the kitchen. She checked in on us about every 10 minutes. She was so sweet and helpful. Food was good and was cooked correctly but the star of the experience was Rachel. Nice work! read more

I dont know if this bad review will eventually turn into a good review. Been seated for an hour and we still DO NOT have any food. Our waitress is nothing impressive, just basic, never checks in on us, never asked us if we wanted more bread. Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting ( more digesting than Walmart bathrooms) Seriously I am not high maintenance but I expect bathrooms to be somewhat presentable. The second bathroom stall has feces smeared on the toilet and all over the floor. Garbage can looked like it had not been changed in days, tissue overflowing can, tissue in the floor, tissue EVERYWHERE! I really wish I had read the reviews on this location before coming here. If you guys know me, I don't eat out much at all because I am always dieting. I was really wanting a great dine out night with my family. DO NOT eat at this location. Food came out terrible. Expecting more... This place is always hit or miss. This time, it was a miss. They were busy, so I sat at the bar. I had a simple order - steak, sweet potato, and a cup of chili. The steak came out first, and they had forgotten the sweet potato and the chili. When I asked about the sides, they brought me the chili but not the sweet potatoes. When I asked about the sweet potatoes, they said they were out of them... but I had to ask if I could have something else instead - it took an hour and a half to eat the meal because it came out in peices 20 minutes apart. We went to our first Texas Roadhouse in Florida City, FL about 8 years ago, on the 2nd or 3rd day they were open at this new location. Many items on the menu were not available, servers were confused, etc. We SORT of expected this, but not quite so bad. Now, 8 years later, we received a $30 gift card for Christmas. Leaving town the next morning for several days, and not wanting to have leftovers in the house, we decided to visit the Kinzel Way location in Knoxville TN, about 4 miles from our home. We arrived around 6:15 on 16 Dec, a Tuesday. We were seated almost immediately, as there were only 3 people ahead of us. The place appeared to be only 1/3 full. We had a wonderful, personable server - Angel. My spouse ordered Prime Rib - rare. The menu specified that we must ask for availability, which we did. Angel assured us it was. So, it was prime rib and some sort of rice, and the optional horseradish side. I ordered beef tips with mashed potatoes and a baked sweet potato. We had a frozen margarita, beer, and "cactus blossom" as an appetizer. It took about 10 minutes to get our beverages as we were told the bartender was busy. Ok. After about 25 minutes, Angel came back, apologizing non-stop. There was no Prime Rib. The "kitchen didn't tell the managers who didn't tell the servers". So my spouse ordered a 2nd choice - a sirloin steak and rice. After about 20 minutes, out came our order. Spouse's was fine - he cut into the steak immediately to ensure it was cooked the way he wanted it. As for mine - well, apparently it had been prepared earlier, and was ready before the discovery of the missing Prime Rib. Everything was cold. Even the scoop of butter on the baked potato wasn't melting. I sent it back. Angel removed my plate, leaving the potato. Spouse wasn't comfortable eating without me joining him, so he asked for a take-out package for the steak, even though we were leaving town. (We just got back - the dead cow is still sitting there). We heard numerous arguments going on in the restaurant - apparently there were several groups who had issues with their food. A manager did stop by just as we were leaving, and said there were problems with the kitchen staff and they weren't communicating with the managers. With several managers, you'd THINK at least one of them could walk into the kitchen and ask what's going on. We received our check at 7:37. Even with our $30 gift card, we were charged $21.96. I assume this was for the one entree we did keep. Poor Angel was nearly in tears during each visit to our table, and felt so bad, but we DEFINITELY knew it wasn't her fault by all the arguments/yelling at 2-3 other tables. I guess we won't be going back for another 8 years. However, I'll be 66 next month, and may not be around to try it again, IF Texas Roadhouse is still in business. I never thought to ask what happened to the remaining balance of $8.04 on the gift certificate. If you do go, ask to sit at one of Angel's tables. You may not get your food, but the service will be professional and friendly! read more

Was made to stand for 20 minutes only to be told the "system made a mistake". I saw people get sat that had got a spot in line after me with larger parties. They made a mistake and did not offer to make their mistake right just pushed us off. I think more people had the same experience and I hope that they take a moment to be better towards patient customers that don't complain or make a scene. read more

Based on the previous reviews, we almost didn't go to this one. But, we decided that some people aren't happy no matter what so we gave it a try. Got right in ( 5-7 minute wait) and the staff was very friendly. Our server was Ky and very attentive. Ordered the Cactus Blossom and two 8oz sirloins with baked potatoes. All the food was cooked perfectly (steaks medium). ONLY complaint, we think it took a lot longer to bring out the starter than it should have. Luckily, it was delicious. Worst service i have ever received in a restaurant. We ordered take out at 7:05pm and arrived at 7:35. it said 30 minutes. i called and let them know we were in a curbside spot. I also asked an employee in a parking lot and she said she'd be right back. she never came back. another 25 minutes go by and it's now 8pm, with no food. I have to now walk inside to the takeout station and ask the status of my order. They now tell me they never got the order. I then have to reorder and it's 8pm when i reordered. We didn't get our food until 9:15pm. we sat in the parking lot for almost 2 hours. No comp to the bill and hardly any respect. the employees were rude and staring and laughing thinking it was funny. i'll never recommend this place to anyone or support a business who treats their customers in this way. read more

The food was delicious, no issues there. The service was okay, busy bartender who was also waiting on tables. However at the end of our meal, my husband who had a voucher from veterans day was told his voucher wasn't real because it wasn't laminated. The manager kept insisting it wasn't real even though we definitely did get it from a texas roadhouse, but said he would give the meal for free anyways. Which I guess is nice? But not really the point. I always get the $10.99 sirloin with a salad and mushrooms or a loaded baked potato. I love their salads. Arrive to the Bar, I knew what I want, order a sirloin with rice and a BP and bread, 15 minutes later I have to ask to the 2 standing around bartenders for my bread, 40 minutes later i received my cold overcooked steak on a dirty plate and missing my rice, none of the two bartenders ask me how everything was until I ask for my rice, then she went to the kitchen for like 10 min and went straight to do something else beside communicating with me about my rice. We have been to this location many times because it is the closest to us, and we have unfortunately have at least one issue every single time we go. The servers aren't bad, but the kitchen is extremely slow. We always end up being here for close to 2 hours. This time, it took an hour just to get our appetizer. I understand that they are busy, so we obviously give the benefit of the doubt. What is unacceptable is that we have a food quality issue every time. I have had ribs that are ice cold and ribs and tater skins that are burnt to a crisp. This time, we were served a cactus blossom that was sitting in a bowl of grease. They were nice and took it off our bill, but it is ridiculous that this happens every time. We have continued to give chances because we understand mistakes happen. It is disappointing, but we are going to have to find a new Texas Roadhouse location. Edited to add: We had to send food back and waited until everyone else had finished their before cancelling the order because they never brought it back. We ended up being here for over 2 hours. It was honestly the worst experience we have had in a restaurant in a long time. Their service staff are wonderful, they checked our table often even though they were really busy. Set a to go order at 9:30 on 1/30/25, barely anyone in the parking lot when I got there at 9:20 and texted I was there, only thing I ordered was two HOUSE salads, rolls and cheese fries, order still wasn't ready after checking inside at 9:40 was told we were waiting on rolls and another 10 minutes later STILL not ready after checking inside, with people pulling up and coming straight out with their food way after the 9:30 mark. Finally get a text that the order is ready and so I texted my spot number and they just kept sending the text asking what spot I was in. Went in to get the food and it was sitting on the counter and they said "oh you were supposed to call" WHAT?????????? And multiple workers standing there just having conversation. I am currently on crutches and it was a chore to navigate my way through the tiny aisle and almost fell multiple times due to water on the floor. Stopped in Texas Roadhouse on Kinzel for a quick bite. It was one decision I honestly regretted. Our waitress Felicia was a nightmare. We all have bad days, but if you're in the service industry - you need to give service. Her whole presence was totally off. She could have cared less about servicing us. She was quick and very nasty in her tone. I even observed her being the same way to her coworkers - just horrible and embarrassing. Food was fine - what I expect when I go to Texas Roadhouse. I guess my biggest complaint was the service - excuse me - the "no" service were received. Texas Roadhouse DO BETTER - maybe Felicia can use a couple of humble service classes. The manager was so rude and wanted to talk over my family and I after waiting 30 min to be seated after being told it would be 5-10 min at 3:50 in the afternoon. While waiting there happened to be about 7-8 hostesses standing their on their phones or goofing off with close to 10 tables open. After 25 min we asked where we were in line and the manager talked over us and said we needed to be patient...and that we needed to back up. Then after 30 min we were seated at a filthy table that no one even offered to wipe off. We asked for our own disinfectant and bussed our own table.... After getting on the waitlist, we were called to the front because our table was ready, but we had to wait 10-15 minutes to get seated. The SA seating us dropped us off at our table, said "we're out of butter," and walked away.
