23 ounce bone in rib eye with sautéed onions and sweet potato with cinnamon sugar butter.
Bob M.

Went here for dinner at the start of their day. Told we'd have to wait for a table till the waitress had clocked in. This was 20 minutes after they.had opened. Had to wait another 10 minutes till she came back from wherever she went. Totally unnecessary to have patrons wait because a server couldn't get organized to be on time. We finally got seated with a different server who was very pleasant and helpful. And, of course, the basket of biscuits came with us as we were seated. Ordered a couple hurricane margaritas and diet cokes. Both arrived pretty quickly. We placed our orders, filet with baked potato and prime rib with steak fries and more biscuits of course. We both picked the Caesar salad as our second side. And to their credit they produce one of the best 'mass' produced Caesar salads around. Croutons on top rather than mixed in with the salad would be better so that they don't get soggy. Not a long wait before our entrees arrived. Filet was cooked as requested and was very tender and well seasoned. Baked potato was a good size and with plenty of butter. Prime rib was more on the rare side than medium rare but that worked without a problem. Only issue with it was that there very little seasoning. The outside was nice and dark and I expected to taste plenty of spices but they weren't there. The prime was tender and juicy and there was a small container of au jus to make it even moister. The steak fries were okay but they ended up getting soggy because of the juices from the prime rib. Overall the meal was good. We were seated at a bench seat on one side and chairs on the other side. Seating was comfortable. The major downside was the music was too loud making it difficult to have a conversation. We did request that the music be turned down which they did too but someone decided it wasn't loud enough and turned it back up only to have the manager go back and turn it down again. Granted this is supposed to be a roadhouse but you should still be able to have a conversation.

We had a great dinner today at Texas Roadhouse, in Manchester, CT! Our server, Nicki, was awesome--very attentive and friendly. She checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy with our meals. We never had to ask for refills; she noticed from across the room and brought fresh drinks right over. My T-bone steak was cooked perfectly to my liking. There was even enough for leftovers. Excellent food and excellent service! If I had to make any complaint or suggestion, it would be that the restaurant is always cold. You definitely want to bring a sweater or jacket, otherwise it can get uncomfortable--and the food cools off quicker because of it.

Texas Roadhouse is a restaurant chain and has some really great steaks and you can't beat the prices. The Ranger Kids 6oz sirloin comes with 1 sides. I usually get the house salad special to order which is romaine lettuce, diced boiled egg, cheddar cheese. This salad go's great with the honey mustard dressing. The sirloin steak choice on the menu is nice and tender. They cut and dry age the steaks in house. Love the fresh warm rolls with cinnamon butter so yummy and addicting.

Tonight was one of the best nights here. Easy waitlist check in, our waitress Stephanie was soo amazing!! Friendly polite quick service and very attentive to us! we were not ready to order and she was patient to wait for us. I recommend using the waitlist on the app so that you're not coming to the restaurant and waiting over 60 minutes while people are staring at you bypassing them. our side dishes came out pretty quick, Stephanie came back with two baskets of bread she also came back with a brand new ketchup after we told her that it was empty. Great and easy service!

Ambience is very Texan steakhouse. 3.5 stars for a chain restaurant. Service was very good. Fast and sufficient. Drinks remained full. Chili is very good. Comes with cheese and onions. Steak kebabs have an interesting vinegar marinade that I personally did not like. Chicken critters were fried well. Crispy outside. Can't forget their rolls made in house with cinnamon honey butter that are endless.

I love coming to Texas Roadhouse especially the one in Manchester The service is wonderful The bread is always always warm and fresh. The filet medallions is my favorite thing to order I usually get two side salads instead of a second side and it still comes with rice. You can get peppercorn dressing or the mushroom one and I really love the mushroom one the most. Those inside outside seating and bar seating. The restrooms have a touchless opening which I found super convenient since they did not have paper towels and only hand blow dryers which I will not use. You can pay right on the kiosk so you don't have to wait for a check. I will continue to go here.

My wife & I have been to this place for many years, lunch & a movie is our fav. weekend activity. Our go to place to eat, it pretty much never disappoints. Wife always orders the double pork chop, she loves it & takes some home make two meals out of it. My favorites are beef tips, fajitas & bone-in ribeye. The bone-in ribeye is incredible, so flavorful, a must try. It's a bit pricy for lunch but it's huge, definitely can make two meals out if it two. Be there 11:30 sharp if going on the weekend, otherwise may run into a line.

The service was off the charts great but food just "good". We arrived early before 5:00 on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. We often prefer bar seating because service is better than tables and this was no exception. The bar staff works as a team and literally every couple of minutes someone would ask if we need anything...BRAVO!! We started with combo appetizer that had boneless chicken, fried mozzarella and potato skins. Loved the mozzarella and skins! Best part of my meal. I ordered the small NY Strip and she got their smothered chicken. My steak was thin and dry. My bad; ordered medium well should have done medium on such a thin steak. Fries were soggy (BOO!!). Her chicken was better; moist and tender. Green beans didn't seem fresh (frozen or canned?) and were overcooked but the broccoli was fresh and cooked to perfection. Even with food that didn't hit the bullseye we had a very pleasant meal out helped by the over the top friendly and efficient bar staff.

What do you what to drink and don't forget to add that kicker,

It was really about attention to detail and the steps of service. None of them were there. We saw employees walking past empty tables with dirty dishes and not help clear, and saw no teamwork. For started I got the firecracker shrimp , which had a sweet and tangy sauce which was delicious highly recommend ( I personally didn't think it was spicy but had great flavour ) For my entree I got the California chicken sandwich which was really good . Highly recommend and I got the side of truffle fries which had just the right amount of truffle ( since I personally don't like to much truffle ) Plenty of flavour . Nice light seasoning with salt and pepper and juicy on the inside . Served with delicious mashed potatoes and green beans . The espresso martini he said was his second best he's ever tasted ! Situated in The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk, Burtons Grill offers a bar, a spacious dining room, a seasonal patio, and a space suited for large groups. My friends wanted to take me out for my birthday and asked where I'd like to go. I chose this spot because I'd heard so many good things about it. Since the weather was pleasant in October, we decided to sit outside. For starters, we shared a rustic bread roll served with pesto, herb, and garlic butter, and olive tapenade. In my opinion, the olive tapenade really stole the show, giving the bread a bold flavor. The bread itself was soft, warm, and utterly delicious. We also tried the signature wings coated in maple sriracha and the Memphis dry rub wings. Although I couldn't distinctly taste the maple or sriracha, the wings were still packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, which was rich with spinach, artichoke hearts, parmesan, tomato-jalapeño relish, and served with tortilla chips. It was genuinely tasty. For my main course, I went with the Steak Frites, featuring a charred flatiron steak served with béarnaise sauce and Parmesan-truffle fries. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. The truffle fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the truffle flavor really made them stand out. It was a simple yet satisfying dish. My friends chose the crispy fish sandwich, comprising fried haddock, pickled red onions, pickles, tartar sauce, all nestled in a brioche bun with a side of French fries. Another friend ordered the general Tso bowl, which included braised chicken glazed with general Tso sauce, along with charred broccoli, a rice-and-quinoa blend, julienned vegetables, toasted almonds, scallions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and ginger aioli. Both of them said their meals were fantastic. Our server was friendly, lively, and attentive throughout the meal. I definitely plan on returning to try more items from the menu.

My happy hour dirty martini with a house potato vodka was better than I expected. I ordered pasta with vodka sauce and my husband had pasta Bolognese. Mine was very good. My husband enjoyed his meal. The restaurant was fairly empty at the time we were there. I walked around, it has a steak house feel. Dark, tasteful, a nice wooden ceiling, slightly stuffy vibe, plenty of wine and bottles on display. Now for the nitpicking. For an upscale restaurant, they don't pay attention to visual details. ( within eye-shot) In the corner walking from the bar to the lobby are a bunch wires going up the wall. It looks spastic and messy. There is a closet behind the bar that has a light in it about as bright as the sun. Left open, or even cracked completely throws off ambiance. There is a lot of clutter behind the counter of the bar which might be functional, it also looks messy. I didn't get a chance to check out the ladies room. I overheard they may have a change in the menu. My food was enjoyable, so I may venture in again. My disapproval of the clutter shouldn't prevent you from trying.

She was quick to point out that they also had a bar menu and I decided to try the chickenParmesan small plate. Priced at only $10. This might be the best bargain in town. A rather generous portion of chicken served with spaghetti mix for a lovely meal. Specially when you add one of the delicious salads or apps. Recommend the meatballs and the roasted beet salad. I have only sat in the bar area, so I cannot comment on the restaurant ambience, but where I did sit was both comfortable occasionally quite lively. So we came back. Here's why! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right in downtown Manchester, CT is this gem. It's near the "beginning" if you're coming from the highway. There's no private parking, but there's plenty of free parking on the street and huge parking lots around the back. That's one reason I love Manchester. If we're coming out here to spend money, don't charge us to park our car so that we CAN go spend money! Lol. Inside is like a bit of a tavern and nothing out of the ordinary. It's a little on the small side so just make sure you get here! Service: Alexis behind the bar took care of us both times and she was awesome. She no longer works there and has moved on to owning her own business so we wish her the best! Food: Wings, wings, wings. Every flavor. You need to have them all. Jerk, Parmesan Garlic, Buffalo Rub, Candied Bacon Rub and Everything But The... I'm so serious when I say this. These are probably the best wings in Manchester. Aside from the flavors themselves, the CHICKEN ITSELF has a smokey flavor that also delivers a crispy skin and juicy inside. My goodness they were so incredible, but my favorite was Everything But The... it's basically Everything Bagel seasoning, but you can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Value: Get here for happy hour! 3:00pm to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. I actually hate those happy hour hours, 'cause like... don't most people get off at like 5:00pm?! Lol. Regardless, 8 BIG JUICY wings will run you $12.00 and that's actually a VERY good deal for what you get. In conclusion, I loved it here and will come back over and over. Not only is this place awesome, but there is a mission statement created by MACC Charities when they launched their social enterprise, Bistro on Main, their predecessor. They set out to support, train, and provide opportunities for individuals with barriers to stable employment. By offering a jobs training program that would help them develop employable skills. What does this mean to them? While they are not the same organization, they have set out to continue the mission of doing good within the community while also offering an enjoyable dining experience. The goal is to continue to collaborate with those organizations who provide support for individuals in our community with the most need, such as MACC Community Kitchen or similar educational programs. Both on a permanent basis through specific menu items or on a rolling basis. So, ask us what organization we are supporting during your visit!

It took them till we were halfway thru our meal before finally taking action. Then, after about 15 mintues, the place went COLD again. We asked the manager to raise the heat yet AGAIN. He did, but only for a couple of minutes and then turned it off again. He actually tried blaming our cold on being seated next to the windows. Idiot. Doesn't matter the reason for us feeling cold. All that matters is that we ARE cold and feeling miserable. The other issue I had was with my steak. i ordered a rib eye. It came to my table looking thin and awkward (not the normal looking rib eye). I'm a rib FREAK. I know what a good one looks like and this definitely wasn't it. Furthermore, they pan fried my steak. WTH! Who does that to a rib eye? It should have been flame cooked. I complained and they told me "that's the normal way we cook them." No way... I just went to another Longhorn Steakhouse just the week before and that steak was good looking and flame cooked. I told my waitress to send it back and cook one correctly. The next one came out flame cooked, but still looking sorry (very thin, no cap, and tough). Honestly, as soon as I felt cold, I should have left. Shame on me for giving them the chance to correct this situation. They do a coat check and the bar area and sitting nearby is super trendy appearing with couches and well lit social gathering spots right near the front of the restaurant. They also have quieter areas on the side and back where we sat that is more peaceful if you want. The food was very good. A few things were slightly off which is why I dropped this to a 4 rather than a 5. The ricotta and honey app was solid but the bread was a bit too charred and the bang for buck on the order was a bit low for what you get. Conversely, the special zucchini flower with zucchini spaghetti was out of this world good. It was sad that you only get 1 flower in the order as it is not really able to be shared, but it is worth the taste if they have it on the menu the night you go. The main dishes were very good. The pasta tasted fresh as if homemade though both the penne and lasagne sheets were a tad thick for our tastes. However the taste was on point and I have to say that was one of the better lasagne's I've tasted in some time. The flatbread pizza was probably the biggest hit for the table. Good balance of sweet, tart and protein with the peppery arugula giving a nice touch of freshness to the dish. It is big too, plenty enough as a meal for 1 or to share between 2 if getting apps and other things. The nice thing is no issues of greasiness or feeling bloated when we finished and left. The food was filing and very tasty and this is worth a trip back. I do think the wine is a bit on the pricey end compared to many places I've seen around lately. The desert menu looked like it would be a hit for us, but we had no room after our meals. Even the kids enjoyed the food quite a bit though we did have some ala vodka left over at the end.

It's known for its tart, fruity, and slightly sweet flavor profile, often garnished with an orange twist. While served in a martini glass, it's not a true martini as it lacks vermouth. The drink has nice presentation, chilled, garnished and well-balanced. For my first food item, I'm having a Chef's Salad. This is all beef and locally made. What's better than this?! This is great!!! Love that pickle and those thick kettle chips! For my second drink, I'm having a margarita. A Margarita is a classic cocktail made with tequila, orange liqueur (like Cointreau or triple sec), and lime juice, often served in a salt-rimmed glass with a lime wedge garnish. It can be served shaken and "on the rocks" (with ice), blended with ice, or straight up, and variations include different tequilas (like reposado) or sweeteners like agave syrup. No margarita glass or sake/sugar rim but it is nicely garnished and tastes good. The floating orange is odd. Still, it's quite good! For my next food item, I'm having the Geno's Meatballs. Gino D'Acampo's traditional meatball recipe features a mix of minced pork and beef, soaked bread, egg, pecorino cheese, and parsley, typically simmered in a simple tomato sauce. For best results, brown the meatballs in olive oil, then simmer slowly for at least 30 minutes to two hours for a rich flavor. I like the cheese strips on top. Lots of sauce! These taste great! For my last drink, I'm having a Vodka Mule. A Moscow Mule is a refreshing, vodka-based cocktail made with lime juice and spicy ginger beer, traditionally served in a copper mug which keeps it extra cold. To make one, combine vodka, fresh lime juice, and ice in a mug, then top with chilled ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge or wheel. It's a simple, no-shaker-needed drink that's popular for its balance of spicy, sweet, and tart flavors. I like the copper mug! It's chilled, nicely garnished and well balanced. For my last item, I've been dying to try the Special- a bork of Legume Soup. Lentil soup is a hearty, nutritious soup made with lentils as the main ingredient, often featuring a base of sautéed onions, carrots, and garlic, simmered in broth with spices like cumin and turmeric, and finished with fresh herbs and lemon juice. It's a staple in many cultures, known for being filling, economical, and rich in protein and fiber, with variations using different lentils (red, green, brown) and additions like kale, potatoes, or pasta. I like the cute, little crock pot. These are good crackers. It's nice and hot. It came out fast too! For my last item, I'm having the Southwest Chicken Eggrolls. I've never tired these here!Southwest egg rolls are crispy, deep-fried appetizers typically filled with shredded chicken, black beans, corn, red bell peppers, spinach, and Monterey Jack cheese. Let's see what comes out! There are fantastic! They're hot and delicious! What a great meal here!

Has garlic Mayo but the garlic is so overpowering you can't taste anything else but garlic and grease . The fried chicken was SO greasy it made the hoagie bread soggy and was SO thin ! It was fried so hard it made the chicken inedible.Very Wilted lettuce and tomatoes .The chicken was also so thin and fried sI also ordered it with fries and the fries were just thrown in a brown paper lunch bag instead of any packaging . The grease from the fries soaked the bag. For $20 each meal - I will not revisit .
