23 ounce bone in rib eye with sautéed onions and sweet potato with cinnamon sugar butter.

Went here for dinner at the start of their day. Told we'd have to wait for a table till the waitress had clocked in. This was 20 minutes after they.had opened. Had to wait another 10 minutes till she came back from wherever she went. Totally unnecessary to have patrons wait because a server couldn't get organized to be on time. We finally got seated with a different server who was very pleasant and helpful. And, of course, the basket of biscuits came with us as we were seated. Ordered a couple hurricane margaritas and diet cokes. Both arrived pretty quickly. We placed our orders, filet with baked potato and prime rib with steak fries and more biscuits of course. We both picked the Caesar salad as our second side. And to their credit they produce one of the best 'mass' produced Caesar salads around. Croutons on top rather than mixed in with the salad would be better so that they don't get soggy. Not a long wait before our entrees arrived. Filet was cooked as requested and was very tender and well seasoned. Baked potato was a good size and with plenty of butter. Prime rib was more on the rare side than medium rare but that worked without a problem. Only issue with it was that there very little seasoning. The outside was nice and dark and I expected to taste plenty of spices but they weren't there. The prime was tender and juicy and there was a small container of au jus to make it even moister. The steak fries were okay but they ended up getting soggy because of the juices from the prime rib. Overall the meal was good. We were seated at a bench seat on one side and chairs on the other side. Seating was comfortable. The major downside was the music was too loud making it difficult to have a conversation. We did request that the music be turned down which they did too but someone decided it wasn't loud enough and turned it back up only to have the manager go back and turn it down again. Granted this is supposed to be a roadhouse but you should still be able to have a conversation.

We had a great dinner today at Texas Roadhouse, in Manchester, CT! Our server, Nicki, was awesome--very attentive and friendly. She checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy with our meals. We never had to ask for refills; she noticed from across the room and brought fresh drinks right over. My T-bone steak was cooked perfectly to my liking. There was even enough for leftovers. Excellent food and excellent service! If I had to make any complaint or suggestion, it would be that the restaurant is always cold. You definitely want to bring a sweater or jacket, otherwise it can get uncomfortable--and the food cools off quicker because of it.

Texas Roadhouse is a restaurant chain and has some really great steaks and you can't beat the prices. The Ranger Kids 6oz sirloin comes with 1 sides. I usually get the house salad special to order which is romaine lettuce, diced boiled egg, cheddar cheese. This salad go's great with the honey mustard dressing. The sirloin steak choice on the menu is nice and tender. They cut and dry age the steaks in house. Love the fresh warm rolls with cinnamon butter so yummy and addicting.

Tonight was one of the best nights here. Easy waitlist check in, our waitress Stephanie was soo amazing!! Friendly polite quick service and very attentive to us! we were not ready to order and she was patient to wait for us. I recommend using the waitlist on the app so that you're not coming to the restaurant and waiting over 60 minutes while people are staring at you bypassing them. our side dishes came out pretty quick, Stephanie came back with two baskets of bread she also came back with a brand new ketchup after we told her that it was empty. Great and easy service!

Ambience is very Texan steakhouse. 3.5 stars for a chain restaurant. Service was very good. Fast and sufficient. Drinks remained full. Chili is very good. Comes with cheese and onions. Steak kebabs have an interesting vinegar marinade that I personally did not like. Chicken critters were fried well. Crispy outside. Can't forget their rolls made in house with cinnamon honey butter that are endless.

I love coming to Texas Roadhouse especially the one in Manchester The service is wonderful The bread is always always warm and fresh. The filet medallions is my favorite thing to order I usually get two side salads instead of a second side and it still comes with rice. You can get peppercorn dressing or the mushroom one and I really love the mushroom one the most. Those inside outside seating and bar seating. The restrooms have a touchless opening which I found super convenient since they did not have paper towels and only hand blow dryers which I will not use. You can pay right on the kiosk so you don't have to wait for a check. I will continue to go here.

My wife & I have been to this place for many years, lunch & a movie is our fav. weekend activity. Our go to place to eat, it pretty much never disappoints. Wife always orders the double pork chop, she loves it & takes some home make two meals out of it. My favorites are beef tips, fajitas & bone-in ribeye. The bone-in ribeye is incredible, so flavorful, a must try. It's a bit pricy for lunch but it's huge, definitely can make two meals out if it two. Be there 11:30 sharp if going on the weekend, otherwise may run into a line.

The service was off the charts great but food just "good". We arrived early before 5:00 on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. We often prefer bar seating because service is better than tables and this was no exception. The bar staff works as a team and literally every couple of minutes someone would ask if we need anything...BRAVO!! We started with combo appetizer that had boneless chicken, fried mozzarella and potato skins. Loved the mozzarella and skins! Best part of my meal. I ordered the small NY Strip and she got their smothered chicken. My steak was thin and dry. My bad; ordered medium well should have done medium on such a thin steak. Fries were soggy (BOO!!). Her chicken was better; moist and tender. Green beans didn't seem fresh (frozen or canned?) and were overcooked but the broccoli was fresh and cooked to perfection. Even with food that didn't hit the bullseye we had a very pleasant meal out helped by the over the top friendly and efficient bar staff.

What do you what to drink and don't forget to add that kicker,

I almost did not need anything else. I also tried the risotto and scallops, which were pretty good, and I ordered the New Bedford cod fra diavlo. It was okay. I was not expecting anything revolutionary, but it was solid. The table also had a few other appetizers, including calamari, clam chowder, truffle fries, and risotto fritters. Ambience: they have a spacious contemporary dining room and a separate bar section complete with TV screens all over the place. Server showed up quickly and took our drink orders. Menu is extensive and should provide plenty of options for everyone. (Pictures of menu included here) We ordered the 5 ounce burger with cheese and fries and the Texas hold em burger with bacon minus tomato and lettuce and fries and the French onion soup. There was a short wait till the soup came out. Nicely covered with melted cheese on top. The soup was good but didn't have the depth of beef flavor and spice texture that I was looking for. There plenty of onions, croutons, and cheese and overall it was okay. The burgers were well cooked and flavorful. They offered two sizes of their standard burgers, 5 or 8 ounces. The smaller size was just right for the person I was with. The cheese seemed to melt into the burger so it wasn't really visible. The hold em burger was large and had onion straws and three slices of very crispy bacon on top. There was a dollop of the bbq/house dressing and plenty of onions straws. The straws were nicely fried but not crispy by the time they reached the table but added a good dimension to the burger. It was good to leave the tomato and lettuce off as the height of the burger made it tough to bite into. The fries were disappointing. They had the right color for being fried and crispy but they were limp and soft. They are clearly are fresh cut from large potatoes but really need to be fried longer to get that crispy crunch you'd expect. Told the server that and was told to ask for the fries extra crispy. Overall not a bad first trip. We'll go back and try some other things on the menu and see what extra crispy fries are like.

Food was solid, but I was looking for more WOW. Now, the appetizers were WOW. Gluten free calamari and the Bang Bang Cauliflower were WOW. I could not have told that they were gluten free! Especially the calamari! The coating stuck to the calamari well and was not too greasy. The cauliflower was very good, and while I would have enjoyed a little less sauce, it was so much fun to eat such a crispy delicious bite of fried broccoli. I also had the octopus and roasted potatoes, and while the octopus was cooked well and was delicious, the roasted potatoes were almost rubbery. I wanted them hotter, roasted, browned and crispy a little bit, but they were plain. The dish came with a corn succotash as well, but I I was looking for a different flavor with this dish. I also got the gluten free lobster roll, and maybe it's the style I wasn't a big fan of (warm buttered), but I think there's an opportunity to butter the roll itself and toast it on a griddle to invoke that crispy buttered roll that screams lobster roll deliciousness. The fries were great. I live it when they aren't too thin, a little thicker, nicely salted, and that perfect crunchy crispy brown and caramelized with a soft center. Add some lovely service, and I would happily come back to Burton's and all of their gluten free options any day of the week. What a treat!

It is served in a bathtub with a floating ducky! This is good. I can't really taste the alcohol but I like the overall taste. The presentation makes the drink. For our appetizer, we are having the Chicken Pot Stickers which are pan-seared filled dumplings, garlic, ginger, yellow chives, soy ginger sauce and slaw topped with rice sticks, sesame seeds and green onions. These are nice! Extra soy sauce and a rice stick topping. For my next drink, I'm having the Grand Patron Margarita made with Patron Silver, fresh orange and lime slices and topped with a mini bottle of Grand Marnier. Grand Marnier is a premium French orange liqueur made from a blend of Cognac brandy, distilled essence of bitter orange, and sugar, created in 1880 by Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle. It has a rich, complex flavor profile with notes of orange, vanilla, and hazelnut, and is typically 40% ABV (80 proof). It can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, in cocktails like the Sidecar, or used in desserts like Crêpes Suzette. They use a thinner salt for the rim. Still hard to taste the alcohol (because of the size of the glass), but as I drink it, the Grand Marnier kicks in! These more like it! For my next item, I'm having the Soup (clam chowder) and Salad Combo (House). The soup is hot and comes with crackers. It's good! The salad is good sized with croutons, it is very good! It tastes great! Very unique! Nice presentation! I love it! For my last drink, I'm having the Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned made with Woodford Reserve bourbon, simple syrup and Angostura bitters. Look at this! They use a large ice cube to slow the dilution process! It's nicely garnished and well-balanced. This tastes great! Good job! Upon entering, we found the wait staff chatting with each other at the seats or serving the handful of customers in the dining room. Decor was heavily coffee influenced-- from the wallpaper to the wall art, it's obvious a cup of joe plays a role here. We ordered a smattering of breakfast dishes and of course, two of the poutine dishes. Overall the food was just ok, not memorable. The pancakes had a nice texture but were largely flavorless; maple syrup helped somewhat but that ended up being the only flavor. Eggs were serviceable, potatoes were fine. The poutine was okay. I've had much better in Canada. Theirs felt like a beef based gravy out on top of French fries, with pockets of cheese curds, which were the better part of the meal. The Quebecois poutine was better, with added ham & veggies to add some complexity. The downside of our visit came as we approached their closing hour of 2pm. The crew started cleaning up and vacuuming around us as we were still eating before close. I had a single cup of coffee, and when I asked for a refill, the waitress apologized and said they poured it out because it was getting close to closing time. Ironic, considering the amount of pro-coffee memorabilia around the restaurant. We hadn't even hit closing but pouring out the coffee while a table was still eating didn't cross anyone's mind. (Nor cleaning around us, passively encouraging us to leave.) The coffee wasn't removed from the bill in recognition that maybe they made a mistake. Overall.. eh. I was hoping for more, but it is what it is. I'm sure it's fine for the regulars, but this wasn't worth the long trip for what I was hoping was a callback to Quebec faire, in Connecticut.
