Bad experience all around. Started with daughter being sprayed with a glass cleaner while waiting to be seated. When seated, hostess never gave us the bucket of peanuts,,, that's your thing! Took long time until we ordered. Took 30 minutes once order was placed. Most plates were Luke-warm once arriving. Loaded baked potato was actually cold. They apologized but still shouldn't happen. My ribs were burnt and I was still tasting burnt sauce the next day. Granted, this is no 5-Star restaurant, but come on. Worst dining experience on 2 week trip. read more

Taking into consideration this is a new Roadhouse in Melbourne near A1A with a Friday night 35-minute wait starting at 7:30 pm for a table, all in all, it was good. Same food as usual on the menu. The quantity and quality of the food were good. The service was the best that could be expected under the circumstances. The server was pleasant. It was hectic and very noisy. I think the wide-open design contributed to that. We will be back but will plan for a weekday and earlier time. read more

My family eats here every Monday! Its Kids Night and they have Crafts and Activities plus the Balloon guy! We love Texas and our kids do too. Never had a complaint and our food is delicious every time. Great service and great place! The early Dine In menu is great! read more

Yesterday was my birthday and my experience at Texas Roadhouse was beyond my expectations! I took advantage of their call ahead seating and was sat as soon as I arrived. We were greeted by a very nice young lady named Rachel. Rachel was a phenomenal server and made sure me and my mom had refills at all times! (and I can drink a lot of water!) After receiving our food, Rachel checked on us to make sure everything was up to par, and it was. The steak was juicy and filled with flavor! The veggies were fresh and the bread was hot. I went to this place with my dad for a late lunch. Won't be coming back. Trashy atmosphere, trashy food, trashy employees, and trashy customers. Funky smell throughout the restaurant. The waitress was horrible. She didn't take her job seriously. One of the bus boys kept coming over and joking around with her while she was serving us. She also kept giggling for some odd reason whenever she'd come by the table. We both ordered burgers with fries. The burgers were not cooked the way we ordered them and the fries were cold. Let me say I have come here several times over the years and it has gotten worse everytime. My last visit was this past weekend. I ordered the Porterhouse it is supposed to be a 23oz steak...I realize this is uncooked but a tell tale way to know if the meat shrunk significantly on a porterhouse is that the bone remains much thicker than the meat. So I kept my steak and went to the butcher and asked him to tell me what he would say the steak weighed pre cooking...he said 1lb max he then pulled out a porterhouse about the same size as mine but twice as think. Weighed it...and it was 23 Oz...so they are selling me a steak that was about 2/3 of the weight it was supposed to be...along with the fact it was almost inedible due to over salting. The manager asked how everything was and made an adjustment to our bill although new never saw a new itemized bill just a totalled bill...the new total was being split so they brought us 2 checks of 51 and change each...the person splitting the bill with me was charged correctly my bill was somehow charged as 155 and change...so in the course of it out meal was basically double charged with me paying an extra hundred. I did not sign anything approving that so now I have to deal with this place again. Even though I will never eat here again. Save your time and money. Go to Petty's buy a real 23oz steak and throw it on the grill yourself. read more

Very disappointed. Ordered prime rib medium it came very rare I asked the server to take it back and she did. When she brought it back there were raw onions just thrown on top of it including a bud with sprouts. The meat was cooked a little better but the presentation spoiled the meal. My son's steak was very fatty. Our server was very good and I actually felt sorry for her. Won't be going back any time soon. read more

Pretty busy place, but we got 6 seated reasonably fast on a Thursday night at 6pm. The cinnamon butter is very good, but bread is a little greasy. Chicken Caesar Salad was excellent and huge. Fried pickles are interesting, but wouldn't order again. Chili was average. Staff was very nice. Wife had pulled pork, which was "not bad, a little dry" in her words. Ambiance more of a tavern pub feel with peanut shells everywhere, rather than a steakhouse feel. Convenient decent food in a pinch. Beats a Chili's or Fridays, but not better than local restaurants like Grill Riverside a few miles away. read more

Grilled shrimp appetizer was good and the buffalo chicken wings were boneless with a breading and fried--not my favorite but I should have asked. The 10oz ribeye seemed a lot bigger but cooked perfectly to order and arrived nice and hot. Mushrooms scrumpious and the vegetables fresh and steamed crunchy. I really have to say I was very disappointed with my experience. My girlfriends parents raved about this place for the past 6 months so we decided to give it a try the friday before fathers day to celebrate along with her parents 40th anniversary. The placed was packed. Along with us calling for seating in advance our table did not take too long at all considering how many people were there. As soon as we sat down we noticed a very unpleasant odor. We figured it would go away so we started to order. Three of us ordered the T-bone and one full slab of ribs along with am onion blossom. The blossom came first. Despite it being over cooked it was actually pretty tasty. Next the house salads which were very good. Not too many places have diced hard boiled eggs on them. Nice touch. After our second round of margaritas and rum runners the food surprisingly arrived at an acceptable time despite how busy it was. Unfortunately at a cost. Two steaks were ordered mid well. Both were easily mid rare. I ordered mid to mid well and I recied very close to rare. At this time the horrible odor was piercing my noice and everyone at the table was ready. To leave. To go boxes in hand, we quickly packed up our food and paid our bill. We couldn't take the smell any longer. Since my girlfriends parents did not want to complain about our experience, my girlfriend and I decided to call and speak to management about the situation, mainly because it was their anniversary and fathers day and we felt something should be done. We called and spoke to the kitchen manager just around their closing time. We explained the situation and he informed us of the odor problem having something to do with old plumbing or what not and gave us a credit for a little above the amount we spent. We also informed him that the only good aspect of our visit was the terrific. Service from one of the only guys working. I believe his name was Adam, but I can't remeber for sure. We decided to return for a late lunch this afternoon. To begin with, the few girls that were working were walking around as if they HATED their jobs. Their pace was that very slow. We presented our credit while ordering our meals. Our server took the better part of ten minutes to bring back our drinks. We ordered two slabs of ribs, a mid well T-bone and I ordered a mid well prime rib. After the server gave each of us the wrong salad she returned our credit with the remaining balance. We wondered why she gave it to us so early. What if we wanted to order something else? Once the food arrived we noticed they forgot our mushrooms and onions on the T-bone and the extra sour cream. I also cut into my prime rib and noticed it was rare. My girlfriends steak was also under cooked. After waiting a little over ten minutes for the server to return I asked for the steak to be cooked to the appropriate temperature and if she could bring. The mushrooms, onions and sour cream she forgot. We also asked for more butter that was not brought with our rolls. She returned with everything but the butter and also forgot a request for ice and some pineapple juice for the rum runners that were mixed with too much grenadine. My recooked steak arrived about ten minutes later and was still very close to mid rare. We waited over fifteen minutes for the server to return and asked for to go boxes and. Went on our way. Since I was even more upset then the first bad experience I decided to call and speak to management. I made it clear that I wasn't calling just to get more "free food" and I also wanted to let her know about the terrible service along with everyone else walking around with bad attitude. It was definitely an even worse experience then the first time and we are reluctant to return once we receive our credit for two more dinners. Used to come here frequently until recently. We tried to get a table inside but there was a 30 minute wait but the hostess told us that the patio was open and we could seat ourselves. So we went out there and waited for twenty minutes. Not one person came over to us. There were three girls out there they cleaned their dirty tables and walked in and out but no one even acknowledged us sitting there. Even though they cleaned the dirty tables right next to us! Very busy place, but the line moves pretty fast. Calling ahead would've be a good idea. Don't fill up on the free peanuts so you can enjoy your meal. I had some sort of jalapeño/cheese things for an appetizer which I enjoyed. Just spicy enough. The house salad was big and fresh. My filet was perfectly done, and they butterflied it for me.
