I eat Texas roadhouse quite a bit, I like the fact that I can eat nothing but protein and vegetables and it's not costing me an arm and a leg. I have to suggest if you're not in the mood for steak to try the pork chops, that is my dish of choice, most nights they are amazing. It does get a little bit crowded, the wait list can be fairly long, but the nice thing is you can check in online prior to coming in which is always a plus. It's definitely a place I continue to frequent quite often and will continue to do so. read more

First of all, this was on a Friday night (Black Friday). I ordered the 23-oz Porterhouse T-Bone, medium rare, with Mac & cheese and buttered corn. The Porterhouse was bland & dry, chewy and not all that tender, and this was the filet side! It seems it was salted then put on the grill too soon. If you salt a steak, the salt will pull moisture out of the steak. Then if you wait an hour, up to 4 hours, the steak will absorb all that moisture back into the steak along with the salt flavor, it will also make the piece more tender! This Porterhouse seemed to have been put on the grill too soon, after being salted and before the moisture was re-absorbed. The mac & cheese was also bland, and seemed like boxed mac & cheese, with a little extra cheese and baked. Don't expect to get creamy mac & cheese. The corn had good flavor, but would have preferred not to have the pepper it came with. Other diner's opinions about their meals (there were 7 of us): One ordered steak tips and said they were so salty it almost gave her a blister on her tongue. Both the above meals were removed from the ticket by management. Another diner in our group ordered a 10-oz prime rib. She said it was tough. Mashed potatoes with beef gravy and green beans were good. Yet another ordered the 1/2 rack ribs, which he liked. The service, however, was wonderful! We ordered takeout from this location. Two orders of Prime Rib. When we got home, we found the supposedly "prime" rib to be inedible. The meat was tough as shoe leather and I simply could not eat it. $30 down the drain! Also, included were huge globs of fat. It's been a long time since I've been to a Texas Roadhouse. Let's start with the wait. Outstanding! I put us on the waitlist on the Roadhouse website from home. The time I got there we only had to wait about 10 minutes. Will use that feature again. The waitress was wonderful, very attentive to our needs and knowing what we wanted before asking. Well let's go with the fried pickles, I really thought that they were going to be great but they pooped out with myself and my wife. The fried pickles were to salty to our liking. Many others many like them like that. My wife said her steak was good which is a good thing but on the other hand mine wasn't the greatest. Very dry. Asked for med rare and 1/2 of it was. The question is how was the whole steak dry? Overall I would go back again. Not 100% happy but not at the point were I wouldn't give them a second try. I am from Texas, so when I want a good steak, I go to Texas Roadhouse. They know how to cook a good steak. This store is always pretty busy, but I usually don't have to wait too long unless it's a holiday. The service is always friendly. I have only waited a long time for my food once. They have some delicious original margaritas and their teas and lemonades are good as well. Their steak is always on point and cooked the way I ordered it. They have a decent variety of sides. I haven't really tried anything besides the steak, but my family tells me there are other good choices on the menu. This place fulfills my once in a while steak craving. read more

Five stars for what they did with a sirloin steak. Sirloin isn't easy to perfect but they did it. When we arrived it was very crowded but we were in in less that 20 minutes. We were greeted and had our full orders in about 25 minutes. The staff is friendly and very efficient. My meal was excellent and that sirloin was cooked to perfection. The food as always is very good for what I call fast food steak house. Not a "fine dinning" establishment by no means but still a very good flavored steak. The place is very loud and hard to have a conversation but if you looking for a place to watch the game and have a tasty steak dinner this is a great place. My co workers and I went to Texas Roadhouse on Power and Ray last Friday to have drinks after a very long week.. hang out and have some food. Everything started out great.. Drinks were great, food was good and our server was nice. After we were there for 2.5 hours we were approached by the "owner" James. He told us he would not be able to serve us anymore drinks unless we order food.... again! I had three drinks and my co workers had two. I was confused and told him I would not be ordering more food since I had already eaten when we got there. He then said since we had been there for almost 3 hours we were basically holding up the table.. Even though we were planning on ordering other drinks. I guess that wasn't adding up enough for our server and the tip she was wanting to get. After James came over one of my co workers husband came to pick her up, but then asked is he could join us and eat. He sat down and James "the owner" came back to the table and harassed us once again about the length of time we had been there, and was annoyed another person had sat down. We were all completely blown away about how rude and unprofessional he was and told him we would just leave. Own server wouldn't even come by our table to give us our checks... and mind you none of us were rude or acting out in any way. None of us will EVER be back to this place... nor will all the people we have talked to about this interaction. James turned our fun afternoon into something unpleasant. read more

One of the managers came out and proceeded to tell us that if you cut closer to the bone it's more red. This is why I don't frequent chain restaurants.... Have eaten here a few times in person and for take-out. The filet has always been good. Nothing great, but not terrible either. 3 times I have ordered the salmon. Once was ok, last time was not so good, and tonight was definitely not good. First things first, everyone knows that Texas Roadhouse is known for the rolls. They are bomb, except for tonight. We opened the to-go box and saw brown, crispy rolls. Very disappointing. Furthermore, I went to break one open and it was hard as a rock and cold. Next, I opened my entree box....and saw a teeny tiny piece of dried salmon. It definitely didn't look like 5 ounces, and when I weighed it, I confirmed that it was 2.5 ounces. When I tasted it, I was even more disappointed as all I tasted was salt. Dry. Salt. Thankfully there were only a few bites for me to suffer through. My baked potato was ok. I had to heat it up for a couple minutes as it was a little hard, but once you put butter, sour cream and cheese on a potato...hey, yum yum! My boyfriend got the BBQ chicken. He was also disappointed with the entree as it was dry. Both of us had salad and veggies which were good. I've been coming to this location a lot lately as a hangout with my friends and it has never failed to impress me. The waiters are always so nice and has fast service. The ambiance is always nice and i've never had an issue with it. However, I was highly disappointed when I went here two days ago with my three other friends, only to wake up the next morning with all of us having terrible food poisoning. It wasn't light in any way and we've been nonstop throwing up and bed ridden since to the point medicine barely helps. I would like to start off by saying I love Texas Roudhouse and I normally have a good time there. Not the last time I went however. I was treated with attitude and disrespect by not only the staff but also the owner. The food was disappointing as well. The mushrooms and steak was very salty and almost not edible. Luckily for me I like salt I was able to eat it. Also the broccoli and carrots were very disappointing. I don't send food back ever so I delt with it. We were told by staff at the door when we arrived that we could sit at the bar (while we wait for the rest of our party of 10 to arrive for a bday dinner) as long as there were nobody waiting to sit at the bar. There were 6 empty seats when my wife and I sat down. Then we were told by the very rude bar staff we could not sit there after having a few drinks. I had 3 drinks at the bar then when seated at our table, I was told I had to wait before I could order another drink because "it's a family establishment". Which would not have been an issue except they have a full bar and a huge drink menu that offers you another shot to top off your margaritas for $3.00. I guess it's ok to stuff your drink with a shot of patron but not have 4 drinks. Then I was told by the very rude owner that was very combative and wasn't trying to listen to anything I had to say about my experience after our dinner when I talked to her to complain. She then tells me that it's not even a full shot that you get for the $3. Apparently they are advertising selling you a shot for $3 and you're not even getting what you're paying for. I would like to add that our wait staff at our table was excellent and the owner and bar staff should take notes from. Never have I had these issues at any other Texas Roudhouse nor have I ever been treated so poorly. I will never return to this particular location. OK, this is a rave review, from the service when we first put in our name for a table, through the seating process and then service and of course, the meal itself. Went with my daughter and granddaughter. The food was excellent for all three of us. Ian, our server, was exceptional. Very attentive. Ryan, one of the managers, stopped by to tell us to let him know if we needed anything. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and is clean which is a big thing for me. I get there and there's only six rolls I ask for more, and they tell me no I offered to pay for more and they tell me no I ask politely again and they tell me no you cannot have more rolls unless you order them 24 hours in advance. Let me just explain my rating. Went to this location on 12/27/23 for dinner at 6:15 pm. It was sooo loud in this restaurant that I was unable to contribute or even listen to the 5 people in my group. I had a decibel meter in my truck and ran out to get it just to see (and because I wasn't contributing to the conversation anyway). To make sure this review is objective and not subjective the exact meter reading was a minimum 74db to a high of 101.3db and an average of 82.6db. The reason for it being louder than the CDC recommends for extended periods was because the MUSIC was turned up sooo loud causing anyone who did want to talk to yell at one another. It is usual for the music to be raised so they can do their corporate mandated dance but tonight it was not turned down but blasting the entire evening. For comparison a dance club has an average decibel number of 98 making this restaurant at its highest decibel higher than a dance club???? I understand you're busy and making it louder makes people leave instead of linger but this was completely unreasonable. Spoke to the manager and he said "ya the music can be a bit loud at times but it's not something we control, it's all automated" WHAT??? I would prefer you just call me an idiot for asking instead of trying to treat me like I'm an idiot. Foods good but an awful atmosphere and there are just too many restaurants in the area to do this again. I would recommend the Chili's in the parking lot instead. They actually seem to appreciate the business they are receiving. read more
