My son and I visited recently for a quick meal after I flew into town. This was the closest breakfast place to where we were when one of us exclaimed "I'm hungry, can we go eat?" Because of our proximity to being overly hungry, we were glad to be seated quickly. However, once we were seated, that was about the end of anything "quick." Our server seemed to be irritated from the get-go. She didn't really greet us, just came over and took our order and was kind of curt. My pancakes came out after I finished the rest of my meal, with no acknowledgement of their extreme delay. We had to ask for refills, our check and boxes. Eggstasy is a breakfast chain that seems to be expanding the valley and is quite popular. Plan accordingly if you visit on a weekend, and be patient with the wait! My parents and I were shopping for a new washer and dryer at Spencers, and decided to check this location out afterwards. I knew the Chandler location off of Gilbert Rd. was always a good experience, so why not try another one of their locations? Our server was Red and she definitely made the experience. Went here for a friend's birthday and really enjoyed Eggstasy. For starters I am not an egg fan but was happy to find there were options that did not have eggs, the name of the restaurant made me worried lol. The restaurant itself is super cute and well decorated, we came with a fairly large group and our service was prompt and friendly. Our food came out pretty quick and everyone enjoyed their food. My husband got the skirt steak and eggs and absolutely loved it he said it was cooked perfectly and seasoned well enough that he didn't need any sauce. I moved to Arizona six months ago and discovered Eggstasy. My first "love" was the cute business name--a play on breakfast and fantasy. Kudos to the business owner for thinking up this name because it's definitely an adorable staple. Anyway, in my six months of living in Arizona, I have gone to Eggstasy at least three times. Their dishes are amazing, the staff is wonderful, and the ambiance is positive. The food presentation is food-tastic, delicious and even a friend of mine who lives in TX loves coming here for breakfast when she visits me. She loves it because their food is MSG free (she's highly allergic to MSG) and their dishes are large portions, enough to share if you wanted to. Eggstasy is a definite top spot to enjoy great breakfast/brunch. I do wish their restaurant was a little more open/spacious but that's a personal preference. It's quaint and even a little Instagram worthy, and as a photographer I enjoy the aesthetic of the restaurant. Hubs and I visited on a late Saturday morning. The restaurant was packed and there were customers waiting to be seated. The restaurant is big with plenty of seating indoor and on their covered patio. The hostess greeted us and provided us a wait time for a table for two. I asked if there was a wait for the bar and when she said no, we decided to dine at the bar. The bartenders were friendly and quick to respond. We ordered the following: Roasted veggie skillet $16.95 + cinnamon roll cakes $3 House made corned beef hash $16.95 (+ add-ons) + lemon ricotta pancakes $3 Latte $4.75 Grapefruit martini $10 Wow! The portions were enormous! We could have easily shared a meal. Each entree included a choice of hashbrowns or fruit, PLUS toast or pancakes. We both chose pancakes and upgraded to signature flavors. My roasted veggie skillet was packed with broccoli, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, kale, tomatoes, cheese, and topped with two eggs. It was loaded with vegetables and very filling. First time at Eggstasy -- and it definitely won't be the last! We stopped in for brunch, and this place did not disappoint. The atmosphere was bright, lively, and bustling -- exactly what you want from a good brunch spot. The menu is packed with so many delicious-sounding options that I honestly wanted to try everything. I ended up going with the Sunrise Sandwich, which had great flavor, though it was a little oily for my taste. Still, it was satisfying. We also tried the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, which came in a huge portion -- definitely sharable -- though I was hoping for a bit more cinnamon flavor. The kids went for the Mickey Mouse Buttermilk Pancakes and Chicken Tenders, and they cleaned their plates, so that's a win in my book! On top of the good food, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even with how busy they were. It made the experience that much better. My family and I hit up Eggstasy before dropping my brother off at Mesa Gateway on a weekday morning. It was a perfect location pre or post airport visits. They were able to get the seven of us sat no problem. Though they were a relatively full house and had a steady flow of traffic. he space was modern and open and they even had a lovely outdoor patio with a large fireplace. We sat indoors, but would definitely love to sit outside on my next visit! I had joined the party a bit late, so was brought up to speed quickly which included most entrees include a side of their iconic pancakes or you have the option to select a specialty one for three dollars more. Their juice is made in house and they even offer house kombucha. I opted for the lox omelette with hashbrowns and an order of cinnamon roll pancakes, along with their house kombucha. The portions are MASSIVE and would be perfect for sharing. The omelette was very good, though for some reason I thought the lox would be on top of it, but it was actually cooked in the eggs. Which makes sense also, but since lox is typically cold, I thought that may be the case. It was a good omelette regardless, but I would probably opt for one of their other options in the future. The pancakes were delicious, but the cinnamon roll icing was a bit too sweet for my preference, but my sister got the lemon blueberry ricotta that was a knockout. Service was stellar and they were on top of it from start to finish. Food came out so quick. I look forward to visiting again and enjoying more of their grand menu! read more

The menu had so many good options that we had to ask for recommendations, of which I got the barbacoa omelette and my brother got the gyro hash. Each dish was very delicious, with HUGE portions for what you pay. They had a pretty awesome chocolate milk, and delicious coffee too. Our server, Anisa, was very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive while we were in. We also had Jasper help us throughout the course of our meal with an incredible friendliness and big smile. I ordered the barbacoa omelette. The portion was MASSIVE!!! The barbacoa was so flavorful and the omelette was filled with corn, chiles, tomatoes, onions and topped with lots of tomatillo sauce. I had leftovers for two more meals!!! The omelette is served with hashbrowns (or fruit) and toast or pancakes. I opted for the pancakes and didn't even try it until later for leftovers. We've been here a handful of times, and although it's super convenient, it's just average food. Unfortunately, there has been an issue with my food nearly every time.
