02/25/24: Place of choice after church service. So glad I took the advice and had the peppercorn sauce for my pork chop. OMG life changing. Staff was super attentive and for our party of about 16 very accommodating. Meal was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Texas Roadhouse please come to New York City.

Ordered chicken, and steak with a side of sautéed mushroom. Steak is probably my favorite and very tender just as described. Mushroom was cooked a little on the saltier side. Overall, Food is average.

In all honesty, does another review for a Texas Roadhouse really matter? Isn't it all the same more or less wherever you encounter one? I think so, but why the hell not. The restaurant is the same as any other TR in creating a lovely ADHD "environmental ambiance" between all of the TV's, noise from the customers and the fake new country blaring overhead. The service was perfectly fine. Nothing outstanding and nothing bad. The food always has some issues and inconsistencies: * If you made the rolls any smaller, they almost wouldn't be there. I assume this is some kind of corporate mandate, but they have shrunk over the years big time. * It's always great when you ask for extra BBQ sauce on the Grilled BBQ Chicken and the amount on it barely coats/covers it. Are we now into sauce rationing unless you beg? * The baked potato was inedible in the delivered format. It was encased in a tomb of salt. Even the server joked when she dropped it off that she hoped I liked some salt on my potato and that it was part of it being loaded. ?? - Great, I never asked for that. I spent five minutes scraping it all off. Sorry but that's not normal to think anybody wants a salt encased potato. Yick! Overall, it was perfectly acceptable chain food and I appreciated getting off of traffic choked route 1 for a bit and at least here the do the early bird dinner special for two hours versus the TR nearest me at home where they backed it up last year to only the first hour they're open. Good enough.

Food was good. We made To go order, which was ready at the time we requested. And the service was great and the attendant was friendly. We were given bags of peanuts and a bag of rolls. Great experience

as if one basket wasn't enough they will bring us some MORE fresh hot rolls with our salads!

Attempting to drive to Lincoln Financial Field to see the Eagles and Giants game in Philly Monday ,we had to pull over because of the rain and wind. We decided to watch the game, at Texas Roadhouse, in Middletown. Bummed out that I didn't get to go to the game, the 22 ounce Yuengling on draft was $3.00, which made me a little bit happier. The Chicken Critter Salad is huge and good. Who wouldn't like chicken fingers on a salad? The buttery fluffy rolls with honey cinnamon butter are super good. I ate one. The food was good, the restaurant was clean, and the bartender was super attentive.

Rattlesnake Bites - yummy cheesy spicy balls of heaven!

Junk food. Like a generic chain in the style of Applebees but with an emphasis on steaks, larger portions, and treble the salt.

Such a mixed review & experience. We made reservations for Sunday brunch and glad we did as the…read moreplace got crowded quickly. On one hand I want to try again for dinner but for the price, I'm not sure it's worth it. Pros: Amazing service - very attentive server(s); we had one in training/shadowing and she was just as good as our primary server, offering refills, clearing plates, overall greet banter Cocktails are fantastic - had the Minnie Ripperton and loved it - creamy yet refreshing and bright which is a tough combo to achieve Cons: Hidden entrance - after circling what looked like an abandoned building 2x we finally figured out the entrance was in the backy and down a set of stairs. I now understand the "speakeasy vibe" but the clutter in the front made the building look abandoned or under construction; not a great start to the experience for us Food service - the other couple we were dining with got their entrees about 10 minutes before ours and we were some of the first orders & diners of the day. Usually you might hold the whole table or refire some of the dishes so it all comes out at the same time. They finished theirs before we even got our to start, making it a strange eating experience Small print menu - with the low light of the speakeasy, the menu had the teeeeniest print I've ever seen making it very difficult to read the menu options. We also didn't realize that the menu changes/is seasonal (not called out on the website) so many of the items we had wanted to try were not an available option. I love a menu that changes but hope it's indicated on the website (aka: sample menu, subject to seasonal change) Hit-n-miss: Fried chicken Benedict- huge portions, amazing biscuits and perfectly poached (but unseasoned?) eggs. I don't know if the hollandaise soaked into the fried chicken or never existed at all - and that's the thing you want with a Benedict. If it existed, it never reached the biscuits because while they were good, but were completely dry Shrimp and grits - perfectly cooked, great consistency, but very under-seasoned Water - just an observation and maybe it's just the local tap water flavor but it tasted off or as off the soap hadn't been washed from the glasses Pro Tip: be aware of the automatic gratuity in some circumstances; if you don't know, check the website before your meal!

Totally worth trying and you will leave soo full. The server was nice and this place was jamming all night. Very tight inside so definitely a cool date spot. It's dark in here, like old people with the phone flashlight dark but I didn't mind honestly. The only thing that threw me off was this bathtub drink... You won't finish your food but you'll be excited for left overs !

I'm glad, because with it being slightly off the 'main drag' in Middletown, we might not have seen it otherwise. We arrived towards the end of the dinner rush hour, and fortunately were seated over by where a musician was playing. It was a busy night, and we were tired and hungry from a day at the faire. As it was busy, there were sportsball games going and the musician playing, shouting was required for discussion and we had some funny misunderstandings YOUR GRAPE IS ON THE MOON? WHAT? Oh, your gravy is a little cool! :) The musician was great, playing lots of 70s and 80s hits, and he seemed to enjoy us singing along and dancing. We are, after all, rennies. We're glad he was enjoying us as much as we were enjoying his music. We got drinks and menus quickly, and our server was attentive without being pushy. After a few minutes looking over the menu, she appeared and we ordered. I got the Stampede Burger, while one of my friends got the Prime Dip sandwich (AKA French Dip), and one got chicken fingers. All came in reasonable time and were quite good, hearty food. So, why the one star off? Dessert. Could we have a brownie sundae? Out of brownies. OK, how about chocolate cake? Out of that, too. Uh...red velvet? Out. Basically everything chocolate. Sigh. Yeah, it was busy but not insane. We ended up not getting dessert, and it was disappointing. Whoever's managing food orders and prep, please do better. Also, if it's not available, it would have been great for the server to say so up front, that way she didn't have to tell us no 3 times. Parking in a private lot, plentiful. We would go again, we just will plan on dessert elsewhere.

I came at around 5 PM, and it was beautiful outside, but a little hot in the sun. The hostess was willing to see me in a table around the corner, where there was a nice breeze. We had a great server, who was very attentive to our needs. People enjoyed the various food offerings, including the pasta, which had a kick to it. I ordered the chicken thighs, which is a rare treat to find on a menu. My only disappointment was that they were a bit overcooked and dried out. Perhaps it was the time of day, but who knows. Other than that, I would come back and try another dish someday.
