The place is always crowded for dinner with some wait times to be expected but if you're a party of 2, head to the bar....very good service and almost no wait! Freezing cold restaurant. We changed tables to try and get away from the cold air blowing. Waitress said it had been too hot so I guess they cranked it down. We ordered sirloin and rib eye both medium rare. Surprisingly, the rib eye was way undercooked (raw in places) and the sirloin overcooked (well done). Maybe we got someone else's steak. Doggy bagged the rib eye. I'll recook it at home. Bit disappointing but this was the FIRST time we have not gotten a perfect steak. read more

In all honesty, does another review for a Texas Roadhouse really matter? Isn't it all the same more or less wherever you encounter one? I think so, but why the hell not. The restaurant is the same as any other TR in creating a lovely ADHD "environmental ambiance" between all of the TV's, noise from the customers and the fake new country blaring overhead. The service was perfectly fine. Nothing outstanding and nothing bad. The food always has some issues and inconsistencies: * If you made the rolls any smaller, they almost wouldn't be there. I assume this is some kind of corporate mandate, but they have shrunk over the years big time. * It's always great when you ask for extra BBQ sauce on the Grilled BBQ Chicken and the amount on it barely coats/covers it. Are we now into sauce rationing unless you beg? * The baked potato was inedible in the delivered format. It was encased in a tomb of salt. Even the server joked when she dropped it off that she hoped I liked some salt on my potato and that it was part of it being loaded. ?? - Great, I never asked for that. I spent five minutes scraping it all off. Sorry but that's not normal to think anybody wants a salt encased potato. Yick! Overall, it was perfectly acceptable chain food and I appreciated getting off of traffic choked route 1 for a bit and at least here the do the early bird dinner special for two hours versus the TR nearest me at home where they backed it up last year to only the first hour they're open. I have been to T Roadhouse ALOT of times. The have me down as a regular and know exactly what I want ......I order the same thing too, even down to the unsweetened ice tea. Yes, I have tried the other place across the street, I forget the name too. I can see my 11 OZ Sirloin, I picked it out!!! The staff are awesome and attentive as are the MGR's... We decided to watch the game, at Texas Roadhouse, in Middletown. Bummed out that I didn't get to go to the game, the 22 ounce Yuengling on draft was $3.00, which made me a little bit happier. PSA For any girl looking to apply here If you apply to work here, here's something to keep in mind: if you get sexually harassed by a male coworker and bring the issue up to management, they will cut your hours to 0 instead of working with you to solve the issue. If sexual harassment is reported to whatever manager is on duty there's a good chance they will just sweep it under the rug, even when others have come forward about the same incident with the same employee. Is there any such thing as having service that is TOO friendly!?! My old man and I couldn't get over how nice everyone was at this Texas Roadhouse - from the hostesses, to the waiter and the manager. Maybe everyone was just super happy that day, or maybe we're just not used to people being that nice to us. LOL. Anyway. The food was great, as it usually is in any TR location we go to. The only negative was that the signage to get into the parking lot was a little annoying, but I don't think that's the restaurant's fault - there's a lot of construction going on around the restaurant so we circled around a few times before we finally saw the road to get into the parking lot. This website is useless. Price varies for everything makes it impossible to decide if you want to go. The steaks are good, bit appetizers are way too expensive for what they are and they are always old and microwaved. I stopped ordering appetizers after two big fails. The waitresses are excellent. Only thing: My steak was alittle under-cooked and my father's was too overcooked. I usually enjoy going to Texas Roadhouse but tonight was not one of those times. The waitress Amiyah was amazing but her boss/manger/owner was a rude a**hole. My husband ordered the prime rib and when he took a bite he immediately said it didn't taste right. I took a bite and I also immediately spit it out. We quietly called the manager/owner over and informed him that something was wrong with the steak and it didn't taste right. His rude & sassy response was "it was cooked yesterday" and "well that is your taste, do you want another one?" My 1st thought was: He should have kept that info to himself b/c we didn't come there to eat someone's leftovers. My 2nd thought was: How many yesterdays he is talking about b/c that steak was NOT 1 day old. My 3rd thought was: He never even apologized, but got smart with me instead b/c we do not enjoy eating old, sour, spoiled steak! The moral of this story is do not order the steak if you choose to eat there. But tip Amiyah well if you have her as your waitress because she was the only reason why we left with a smile. read more

They are well staffed, attentive, friendly and interested in providing an overall good dining experience. The place is packed on a Wednesday night and I can see why. I don't know who the manager or the owner is but clearly they are doing it right and it is greatly appreciated. It's probably one of the best dining experiences I've had in the last year. For my first experience here (even though I've lived five mins from here for three years now) I've never been to Texas Roadhouse but always noticed the packed parking lot. I heard good things about it from friends and family who have visited other Texas Roadhouse restaurant chains in diff states, so I decided to give it a shot even though I was hesitant with the reviews on yelp. Which is pretty surprising considering how many customers they get and there aren't many people raving or reviewing the food. We went around 4pm on a Saturday and there was quite a handful of people waiting. The hostess told us it'll be about 20 minutes or so. So we sat down and glanced at the menu they offered while you wait. Nice touch. After about four minutes our buzzer went off which meant a table had just become available. "That was quick!" I said surprised. The host greeted us nicely and asked if we've been here before as she guided us to our table. She told us to enjoy our meals and gave us our menus and bread. The place is well lit, not too dark or bright. Wasn't too loud and you get enough space from other patrons. I like that. The bread rolls were golden and warm, very buttery and perfect sized. We were starving so we ate that. There was also some sort of sweet cinnamon paste they give you with it. It was good but the bread was fine on its own too! Our server Shy showed up and introduced himself. He was kind and very accommodating. Whether we had questions about the menus or recommendations he really came through for us on that. I ordered the country fried chicken with white gravy sauce. Also a side of buttery corn and mashed potatoes. The mash was okay, it was good but nothing too different. The meal was nice, a little salty but I expected that from my fried chicken dish. I enjoyed everything and we were able to ask for more bread! :) The sangria margarita was sweet and bitter but great, it was also frozen. My friend ordered the salmon and that was cooked delightfully! Can't complain there. She ordered the Hurricane margarita, it was sweet but prob one of most enjoyable on the list, not tart or sour, just sweet. Our server came back and checked on us in good timing, overall we had a really great experience. Especially with it being my first time there.
