Just the three of us went back at 11:00 am. That's when open on Sunday. Our waitress was Kayla who looked working at Texas Roadhouse for the last 4 years. ( they need wait staff and the company gives them a 30% off their own food bills when they bring their family). I had the rib slab. It falls off the bone and it was good. I am writing this review after a pleasant dinner after a chaotic work week. I left the restaurant with a full belly and a big smile on my face. All thanks to the absolutely amazing server, Marci. She came to our table with the biggest smile on her face and most adorable floral kitty ears headband. She simply radiated positivity. Marci checked on us regularly without being overwhelming and it made me feel warm inside when she talked to us. It has been so long since I have had a dining experience when the staff made me feel truly welcome in a restaurant. Marci did just that. She made the experience welcoming, happiness filled and enjoyable. The food was very good as well, their flavored sweet teas are phenomenal. I had peach and my husband had mango. He ordered the fried catfish which I thought tasted just like fish my mom used to make when I was a little kid. Came here with my wife for a Friday date night. We love texas Roadhouse and wanted to see if it was just as good at this location. My wife ordered the BBQ chicken, and I ordered the 20oz ribeye. Our waitress was just ok. When we received our food, my wife ordered the chicken with the BBQ sauce on the side, cuz it's always drenched in sauce. But of course, it came drenched in sauce. The hostess grabbed a basket of freshly made rolls and butter so we immediately had rolls to munch on. The rolls are buttery and so good, we did receive a 2nd basket. Menus are electronic and hard copies. For a middle of the road chain, this one stands above the rest. Service was excellent and fast. My husband had the rattleskin bites. Horrible experience today, when I first got here the bread was unusually stale compared to other locations, the steak had bone in it. The steak was also unevenly cooked and almost raw. I had no complaints with the service although since they handled the bone in my steak in a professional way and offered me a replacement. While their are many delicious entrees here, I love ordering the 6oz sirloin with 3 grilled shrimp and sides. There are many different side options that are sure to appease even the pickiest of eaters. The staff have an upbeat and energetic spirit. We got a gift certificate for our 50th anniversary last July. Tried 3 times to go, only the wait was over an hour each time. Tonight, we got there between 7:30 and 8pm. Only a 20 min. wait, if it was even that long. My husband had the steak and shrimp, I had the pulled pork dinner. He got his mashed potatoes with gravy and ceasar salad, I got the tossed salad and corn to go with my meal. Everything was PERFECT! The hot rolls and butter, the salads, the dinners. Only complaint was that I couldn't finish all of my pulled pork. There was that much on the plate. And, they give you the bbq sauce on the side, so you can add as much or as little as you'd like. Our waiter, Ricky, was EXCELLENT! He walked up to the table with a to go box for the rest of my pulled pork without me having to look for him or ask for it! The manager came around to the tables during the meal, to make sure everything was ok. Looking forward to going back here again. I have never been to a Texas Road house to this review is coming from a super fresh perspective on the opening day of a brand new location. The good: The décor and ambiance of the restaurant was great. Super detail oriented deco with a beautiful steak display. Very clean location and there is ample seating available. Grabbing a bag of peanuts is fun way to spend the wait time, and they provide you with a buzzer to let you know that your table is ready. The steak was cooked perfectly medium, and the sirloin (known as the cheapest cut) was neither too stringy or tough or burnt, as I have experienced at a neighboring chain steakhouse. Looking at you "South back" The bread is amazing. Picture a soft amazing bagel but round with a side of sweet cinnamon butter #amazingbread. The burger was very decent, flavorful and a good serving size. The bad. Wait times are considerable. Waiting for a table. Waiting for food. Waiting for a check. Waiting for your card back etc. (Though there is a way to pay on the app that I haven't tried yet). Nonetheless this is a brand new restaurant and It seems expected. Have to see how things are in another couple months. Service. I honestly think it was the server that we had. She seemed super flustered and ready to take it out on the customer. After trying to use a coupon she frustratedly informed me that she only had 4 days of training and did not know how to use the coupon and that the print on the coupon was too small and she could not read it. After speaking to her manager she did end up figuring it out and was very apologetic about it, but it was super awkward and cost us a bunch of extra time to correct. The food. I got the rattlesnake bites appetizer that was hollow and I think that was a mistake. Side dishes were super boring and bland. The corn was mushy and had less flavor than if it had come from a can. Baked potato... boring. They charge extra for cheese and sour cream. The steak was also very lightly seasoned and did not have a lot of flavor. Fries that came with the burger were a super sad serving size, though tasty. All in all, this restaurant is a good value and there are many early dining deals and even a Wednesday steak deal. The food could be better, but it could also be a lot worse. The atmosphere was great, but the service could definitely be better. This is definitely a once in a while kind of place and I look forward to reviewing it once again after they get more established. read more

Texas Roadhouse executes its concept perfectly. It has a friendly, country atmosphere and heavy, tummy-bloating food. The two of us came on opening night and the parking lot was a madhouse. After a few loops we bailed and parked on one of the side streets. I am glad that we checked in for the waitlist online, which you can do via their website. Thanks to that we only had to sit in the crowded waiting area for 8 minutes (I timed it) before being seated. It would have probably been at least an hour wait otherwise, though I'm only guessing based on the massive crowd. Once we were seated everything was lightning quick. We got a basket of fresh rolls with cinnamon-infused butter right away, along with a bucket of peanuts that was already waiting for us. Drinks soon followed, and finally our entrees. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the husband had the 10 oz. prime rib. The pulled pork was quite tasty, with its buttery bun and pleasantly sweet sauce. I have had a lot of pulled pork sandwiches in my day, and while this might not top the list it was definitely worth an order. My sandwich also came with a side. I chose the creamed corn, which was a-ok. My husband could not believe his prime rib was only 10 oz. He could swear it was a more generous portion. In any case, he wasn't complaining, and still managed to finish the whole thing. From what I sampled it was very tender (medium rare) and tasted somewhat reminiscent of... pork belly? Bacon? Something smoky and umami like that, at any rate. He also had the giant steak fries and apple sauce for his sides, which were likewise a-ok. I couldn't be more impressed with the service or how efficiently everything ran on Texas Roadhouse's opening night. We decided To stop by Texas roadhouse after it opened for approximately three weeks. We are frequent customers of the Wisconsin location. Knowing how long the wait for Texas roadhouse restaurants We selected the seat ahead option on the app. At the time that I selected it stated 60 to 95 minutes. It gave us an approximate weight time of arrival 8:02 PM however we didn't get seated until 8:30 PM. The reason I gave it three stars is because we were seated and no one came to our table for at least 12 to 15 minutes. The nice busboy stopped by and asked us if we wanted bread. That was very nice of him considering our small children were waiting a very long time to be seated. After that we continue to wait and weren't even served water. We asked the bus boy once again if he could bring us water or possibly our waiter/waitress. Our waitress arrived she was apologetic mentioned that something was going on with the closing out of the register and she appreciated our patients. That was kind of her however that is unacceptable someone could've stop by the table. I didn't see a manager on the floor walking around asking if everything was OK. We constantly were looking at other servers they noticed that we were looking to get someone's attention and the only person that gave us attention was the bus boy. We placed our order received our food. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken and it was burnt and they were the smallest pieces of chicken I have ever seen. Normally when you butterfly a chicken it's cooked so that it doesn't become dry my peace unfortunately was brown and overcooked. Normally when I order this entrée it's delicious. By the time we received our food the restaurant was basically empty so I am not sure what happened in the time it took for us to be seated and served. Our food arrived approximately 9:20 PM at this time we've been there almost 1 hour. Unfortunately I probably will not be returning soon due to the weight and quality of food at this location. I do not want to speak for all Texas roadhouse establishments because they are always top notch but this area definitely needs some improvement with waiting and customers waiting up the tables too long. The waiting area looked like a holding cell where people were lined up from the door all the way to the last seat. When you have patrons waiting that long there should be a water station or bite-size bread for children that are waiting that long the manager should be walking around being apologetic asking if everything's OK is there something we can do. I know this is a new location and things need to get ironed out so I'm hoping by the next time I visit it will be in place. read more
