The server just gave it to us. The caprese flatbread was delicious as usually. I really liked the balsamic glaze. I also feel the ingredients were evenly balanced. I didn't eat any of the shrimp appetizer so I cannot comment but it looked good. The main dish I had was so good that I was intending to save half, I ended up eating it all. The White Wine sauce was delicious and the shrimp was tender and not overcooked. Overall, we had a good time and ended up staying longer due to being with good company. The server was very nice and attentive. If it wasn't for the wait for our table, I would have given a 5 star review as everything else was good.

I knocked the dinner rating back a star due to this item, but it was still a nice solid dinner overall. The chargrilled halibut was tip-top delicious as usual. Laurie was our friendly and attentive server and a veteran of 33 years at Bob Chinn's. You can now conveniently scan a QR code and pay from you phone without server attention. We used the green leafy lettuce to make ssambap. I also liked the sauce with the sesame oil and salt. The bulgogi was last and we had to dig deep to finish it. What I liked was that nothing stuck to the grill and nothing burned either. I've had kbbq before at other places where it was too hot and the meat was burned. Everything was cooked perfectly. There was another table where flames shot up from the grill but the staff quickly went over to help. The staff was friendly and efficient. The banchan was plentiful and tasty. Surprisingly, the highlight of the night was the slice of tiramisu that our friendly and professional server Greg brought to me! It had a lit candle for my birthday, and Greg teamed up with two other waitresses enthusiastically sang me a happy birthday song! The tiramisu was excellent, creamy and not too sweet. I am not a dessert person but really appreciated this. I have a suggestion for the restaurant: as the portions were so large and each of us brought home half of it, it would have been nice that they make the portion 40% to 50% smaller, and lower the average price of $40 per entrée accordingly.
