I was super excited all week to get an opportunity to go to Texas Roadhouse which had just opened in our area and I couldn't be more disappointed. To start, everything was great with the online check in, the fantastic waitress and obviously the rolls and butter. the salads came out and those were great. it went downhill from there. My wife and I ordered our steaks Medium. Hers came out medium rare first and shortly after mine was as well. We chalked it up, busy, not worried about it and they would fix it. My wife's came back and it was still RARE. Mine came back and again, raw. I got frustrated, several managers came over and apologized and at this point I just didn't even want the food. To make matters worse, a THIRD time my steak came back (mind you it was the same steak each time, not a new one) was cut and medium rare AGAIN. Yes, FIVE TIMES, steak was brought out and rare. To this point, I wanted out, didn't want anything at all. They took care of the bill (we ate salad) and I asked them to charge me so I could give a tip to our waitress. The multiple attempts to get it right was frustration considering it was a different manager and they were befuddled that this could happen. Again, I get being busy, it's opening weekend, but three times? It's completely frustrating all week to anticipate coming and for it to be a massive let down.

Went here after a later than normal work day. Was super excited to check out the new location. While the experience wasn't the best, I have high hopes that it's just because it's newer and they need to work out the kinks. This is conveniently located with ample parking. Also has the PERFECT view of the sunset! First: I didn't put my name on the waitlist before I went in because I dined alone and didn't expect it to be as busy as it was on a Tuesday at 8pm. The host stand was VERY chaotic and there was lots of playing amongst th. I got a text prompting me to get head in. I went in and all backs were turned to me and other guest. I had to walk around to speak with someone who told me to go to stand by a number. I asked another young lady after 10 minutes how it worked. She spoke with me in a VERY condescending tone. She later apologized and we chatted about it. Very very very loud! I've been to a lot of TR but this one was very loud. My server was ok. I didn't catcher her name. Could've been a bit more attentive. The food was solid as always. My cocktail tasted and looked like it had been sitting a while so I didn't even capture it. I can't say I'll never go back but I'll give them time to get their flow going!

The French fries are perfectly cooked and easily some of the best around. My son ordered a burger and loved it, and my friend had the chicken, which was also fantastic. I've had the strawberry salad there before as well, and it's fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. And don't skip dessert! The croissant pudding is incredibly good, and the bourbon brownie is rich and delicious--the perfect way to end the meal. Every time we go, the food is consistently great. If you're in Mount Juliet and looking for a place with amazing flavors and a menu that has something for everyone, this spot is definitely worth visiting.

It was frustrating, especially once other couples were seated at larger tables, and we quickly realized we didn't have enough space for everything we ordered. We got two appetizers, a main entrée, and a side, with drinks. --and the table was overflowing because it was so small. Mozzarella Arancini (V): 3/10 - Very mid and lacking flavor. Bang Bang Shrimp: 10/10 - Easily the star of the night; fresh, homemade, and delicious. Steak Frites (DF): 4/10 - Ordered medium rare, but it came out much rarer. We couldn't finish it because it felt unsafe to eat. The fries were the only redeeming part. Gouda Mac N Cheese: 2/10 - Dry, unseasoned, and disappointing. Overall, the vibes were off and the food just didn't deliver. Came, saw, and unfortunately, won't be back.

The parking lot was packed and every table was full when we walked in, which is usually a great sign. The gal at the front desk let us know there would be a short wait, and sure enough, about 10 minutes later we were seated. We overheard that they were short staffed due to a callout, but honestly, you would not have known it from how smoothly things were moving. Our waitress was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she got our order in quickly despite juggling multiple tables. My husband went with the hot club sandwich and fries, and I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with onion rings. Let me just say, the food came out fast and absolutely delivered. My husband's sandwich had that picture perfect cheese pull moment that you hope for but rarely get, and it tasted just as good as it looked! My chicken salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the onion rings truly stole the show. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, lightly seasoned, and just the right texture with every bite. Easily some of the best I have ever had. It is easy to see why this place stays busy. The Glade Diner has that classic, well-loved feel where good food and friendly service come together in the best way. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again just to work your way through the menu. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

French Onion soup (cup) - the smallest cup of soup I have ever seen, but my daughter found it lacked the deep, rich, meaty flavor synonymous with French Onion soup and left half of it. Fish tacos - fish to tortilla ratio was on point. The fish tacos were well dressed and the cabbage add a nice crunch. This entree was 10x better than those starters. Bam Bam shrimp - had some crispy texture even though covered in the sauce. It was a solid dish and everyone finished it off. Sides- onion rings and fries. These were standard fare. Shrimp scampi flatbread - did not come out hot and quite flabby. We decided the kitchen was having a bad night. The cocktails were fine, so the bartender was having a better night. The service was quite slow but it was a busy night, so understandable as my daughter and I both worked as servers while in college. There is many parking opportunities here as this restaurant is surrounded by other retail stores and restaurants. I included the receipt in my pictures because I want you to know about the "hospitality fee". I find this disturbing practice is increasing. In my opinion, this practice is deceptive. It makes me believe the owners or corporate office is not paying their employees what they are worth. As a former waitress during my younger years, this will only make patrons reduce the waitresses tip if they are not bold enough to have it removed. I did not see this at the time we were finishing up as we were talking and just trying to get out of the restaurant. I did not see it listed on the menu either, although most restaurants that partake in this deception has it listed in very small print somewhere on the menu. I just avoid these restaurants in Vegas - but never thought Mt. Juliet restaurants would adapt such a practice. Lesson learned.
