Was here on Sept 25, 2016 to celebrate my daughters birthday. Family of 5 adults. The margaritas were very good and reasonably priced. Ordered the Blooming Onions for appetizer. Was OK, nothing great, somewhat greasy. Ordered steaks and ribs for dinner. Steaks were OK, but the ribs were dry and flaky as if out of a bag and overheated for a long time. This was my first time eating at this chain and long story short I would return. Me and the fam arrived around 7pm on a Monday and had no wait whatsoever. The restaurant wasn't super packed but it wasn't dead either. Our hostess was friendly and promptly seated us. The warm rolls and cinnamon butter were everything people on here are raving about. I was disappointed that they gave us a bucket with our peanuts though, as I was looking forward to throwing the shells on the floor like back in the day at the now extinct Roadhouse Grill (RIP). We ordered the blooming onion-like appetizer to start which was good even though I'm not crazy about onions. For dinner, I ordered the NY Strip steak cooked medium and the green beans and baked sweet potato as sides. I enjoyed my meal although there's a good deal of pork on top of the green beans which they don't tell you about on the menu, so avoid that if that's not your thing. This is a very nice place to eat after a hard day at work. We've been here twice, and each time has been a good experience. The Grilled Shrimp appetizer is very tasty. The rolls are always hot and fresh. I ordered the ribs as a main course. They are always fall-off-the-bone tender and very delicious. The sides are good. I haven't ordered alcohol yet. Can't speak for the food as the service was so terrible we left before eating any food. We arrived at 7:30p on a Saturday, so a wait was expected. The issue was that there were several groups who seemed to be seated very shortly after their arrival, after us, who conveniently seemed very chummy with the hostesses. After waiting almost an hour (we were quoted 30-45 min) we were seated around the bar. Waiting an hour to sit in the bar??? We then waited an additional 10 min for anyone to acknowledge us. I had to go pick up a bread basket as we were seated with nothing and were starving at this point. Finally our drink and food (as we knew the menu by heart by this time) orders were taken. Taken but never delivered. We sat another 20 min until we finally gave up and left. The last straw being watching 7 staff members standing around the hostess stand drinking and giggling like the place was empty whilst we had nothing, including our waitress who seemed to have completely forgotten about us. BTW, we were the second couple to walk out without receiving a thing. I have been to several locations of this chain and NEVER received such horrible service, or lack there of. read more

Seeing as how we waited 15 minutes after being seated before anyone came to take our order (and other tables around us were being seated and ordering before us) only made the evening go downhill from there. I had to get up and walk to to the hostess area to tell them that we were being ignored. Why seat us if no one is going to come over? Finally someone came, apologized and offered to comp us an appetizer. I then explained that I already had a coupon for a free appetizer anyway (so thanks for nothing). We already knew what we all wanted so we ordered right then and there so we would not have to wait any further. The sangria margarita was decent which was the only good thing pretty much. That and the unlimited peanuts. The food was average. Nothing wrong with it but nothing spectacular. I could have gotten just as decent of meal at Outback Steakhouse (and probably better service too). Then when it came time for the bill, I left my credit card in the folio and we waited another 15 minutes! Our server just disappeared. I had to again, walk to the front hostess and tell her I've been waiting for 15 minutes to have my credit card processed! Talk about a repeat of ridiculous from the first mistake. That was the final straw. A different server finally processed my payment. This place has potential to be great but the disorganized service is going to turn people off. When you first drive up you immediately notice the parking lot is packed and you have to drive around to find an empty spot, you also notice there're many people loitering outside the restaurant. I was surprised to find the wait time was only 10 min. The staff at the hostess desk were very unorganized and unfriendly ( this may be the reason for the long wait time). Our waiter Ben was very friendly and eager to help. I ordered the skewer shrimp with rice and two sides, the portion was quite generous but both the shrimp & rice were very salty. My friend ordered steak & ribs and enjoyed his food. Overall the experience was good even though the restaurant is extremely LOUD, & NOISY. To start I'd say that when I first got to Texas Roadhouse there was a wait time of about 30 minutes, but that's not a bad thing at all. It was full of people and it had music playing on the loud speakers. I think it was awesome that they display their meat in a glass display in front of the kitchen for everyone to see because you could get a good look and see this was some serious meat. They also showed how they make their bread buns fresh, these were absolutely delicious. The Rattle Snake bites are the best appetizer in my opinion, potato skins come second. Wasn't pleased with the blooming cactus, felt a little too greasy. The fries were just okay. The meat was out if this world however, that combined with the atmosphere made for a great dining experience. Highly recommend this restaurant, gave it a 4 stars because of the wait time mainly. My husband and I happened on this restaurant on Sunday during their "Early Dinner" special and were very pleased. The dinner was only $8.99 for each of us with 11 choices of entree coming with 2 sides. We both had the sirloin steak which was quite tender and done just as we each asked. We chose the garden salad for one of our sides and it was quite generous and tasty. Husband ordered green beans for his second side and reported they were quite good, made with some bacon bits and cooked just right. I had chili for my second side and it was quite delicious. We enjoyed the bucket of peanuts on our table and the delicious rolls and cinnamon butter as well. The only disappointment was this - the drinks were good (especially my hard cider!) but each almost as expensive as our dinner, to our surprise. The server was very attentive but not annoying and all in all we had a very good experience (except for the price of the drinks which we discovered when the bill came). A 25 minute to wait for a drink and to cap it all off....drinks were spilled accidentally on a member of our party. She read back or order which MOST other places do not.BRIA served us with a smile all night. I have worked in retail, for many year and this young WOMAN has what it takes to work with the public and needs to be praised when doing so. This trip to TR was not what I was expecting. My friend and I both got the Country Fried Chicken. My baked potato was not hot and neither were the fresh vegetables (broccoli & carrots). The broccoli had black spots all over them and the carrots were dried out with white spots. The steak fries were cold and limp and both the cream gravy & brown gravy were very salty. Was majorly disappointed and told the waitress who then told a manager. They took some money off the total bill but that doesn't make up for the bad food. This is for a past visit. Showed up on Sunday afternoon before a Euro soccer game. Walked in, lots of host(ess) standing at walkway. Said we wanted to watch the game. Told only seats at the bar. Even though there were multiple booths free. Ordered drinks. Asked for coors pint special. Got A warm Budweiser in a bottle with a cold glass. Manager came over asked if we were the ones that wanted to watch the game. I said yes if possible. Manager said nothing else. At game time, they couldn't find the channel. My wife had to assist them. Weird that no one who works there knew how to work the tvs or which channel was what. I had a salad which I had to wait a minute Bcs no utensils were given to us at first. I had chili with my steak, yet no spoon to eat the chili. No bread given either at beginning of the meal or during it lol. Funny Bcs another manager asked if we enjoyed the bread and our meal. I have been to other Texas Roadhouses and never had a terrible experience. I will def not be back to this location. FYI if you go to the one in Parlin NJ, it will be a much better experience. read more

Went for my moms birthday. It was around 5:30 on a Thursday and there was a minimal wait. We did the call ahead but honestly expected to still wait. The service was great! Our server was Sabrinna and she was excellent. Our margaritas were delicious and the apps came out fast! Our steak was fresh and cooked perfect and we left feeling stuffed!! The bill was about 20 more than it would cost the three of us to go to Applebees!! so the prices here are so great. Also the grilled shrimp skewer was mouth watering. My only complaint is that they had no coors light or miller light bottle and that is what my dad drinks. Will go back soon!! Try it out!! read more

My wife and I were celebrating our 11th Wedding Anniversary and called ahead. They knew we were coming and were seated in a okay location in a booth. The waitress, Robin was helpful with my steak selection and seemed new waitressing there, because she didn't know drink prices. Everything was fine in the beginning of dinner, we got our drinks and our appetizers and ate. The Texas Chili was way too salty. The onion bloom and my wife's salad were good. Dinner came and it was not what I was expecting. I got my steak with mushrooms, but the plate was kind of small and they put a bowl of mash potatoes on the same plate next to my small 6oz steak and my buttered corn was in the same kind of bowl, but they gave separately, because it would not fit on the plate I guess. I don't know why they couldn't have put everything on the same plate without all the ridiculous bowls? While eating, our waitress checked how everything was right after we took a couple of bites then she was MIA throughout the rest of the night. She never asked us if we wanted refills on our drinks and if I wanted another beer. So I just drank my water they gave to us complementary in the beginning when we sat down. We waited and waited and we even told her in the beginning we wanted dessert after dinner. I was so fed up, I tried to wave to her and not able to get her attention. It was loud in there and they like to pump up the music and the staff line dances in the isles which is fine, but I could not get the attention of our waitress. She was spending like 10 minutes in front of a computer screen putting in orders. I waved again and one of the staff wanted to see what was the matter finally. I just requested my check, because we just wanted to go at that point. I had enough. Robin finally came to the table with the bill and she apologized for not coming over, because she was dealing with a large party. I explained how displeased we were, because she never checked on us and I wanted another beer. If a waiter or waitress is dealing with a big party then another server should be assigned and help them out with their other guests or that party. Maybe the customers should just walk up to the bar and refill their own drinks and go into their kitchen to get their desserts out of the refrigerator. Ridiculous! The owner called me because I copied and pasted my review to their website. Not only did he apologize and ask me some questions like did the manger ever come to the table? I have been here several times since they opened. I love there buns and there pork chops are out of this world. There wait staff is all very nice but you do not seem to see the same wait staff more than 2x and some are way better then others at bringing out your salad or starters 1st and on one visit they forgot all together. My husband and I have been coming here once a week since it opened several years ago. Food is excellent and servers are usually friendly and competent. The last several times we ate here the restaurant was quite empty and there were very few servers. Today we hit rock bottom. We arrived at 12:45 pm. The restaurant was 80% empty and we were told we had to wait up to 15 minutes for a table since they had very few servers. We considered going next door to Arooga's but decided to stay and wait. Big mistake. Ten minute wait for a table in an empty restaurant turned into an 18 minute wait once we were seated and still a server never appeared to take a drink order. My husband and I got up and left after 20 minutes of not being approached by a server. We used to like this restaurant very much but management has not staffed it properly for weeks. Doubt we will ever return. Had no trouble finding a substitute restaurant to fit our needs. read more
