The talented, delightful and handsome Dominique.

My husband and I came in for an early dinner. Everything went very well! When entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a male hostess (I hate that I didn't get his name) who was very kind and welcoming. We decided to dine at the bar. We were then greeted by Dominique who was our bartender/server. He was a breath of fresh air; friendly, kind and very attentive! Normally I take pictures of our food, but I was too hungry and just wanted to eat. My husband, Gary ordered Chopped Steak with a baked potato and asparagus. I ordered skewered shrimp on a bed of rice and a side of whole mushrooms. Our food was done to perfection, hot, delicious and mouthwatering! I want to mention the manager, Brian. This man made it obvious that he truly cares about his customers. As I mentioned, we sat at the bar. The overhead lighting was very, very bright and I asked Brian if it was possible to dim the lights. After a little fun banter, he dimmed the lights. Longhorn Steakhouse staff made our meal experience wonderful! Cudos to the chefs and assistant cooks that presented us with a delectable meal! We definitely will be returning!

Different location...food and service was good! Not much more to say except we will be back!

    Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad

I wanted to keep it simple for dinner tonight so I decided to order out at Longhorn. Once I arrived the curbside pickup team was quick enough to bring out my order so I could be on my way. The restaurant was and has been pretty packed since they opened, but thankfully I had no issues getting in and out. I ordered the grilled chicken and strawberry salad which comes with a raspberry vinaigrette. I have to say this is one of the better food items I've had from Longhorn. The chicken was nice and tender, and the various fruits (strawberries, grapes, oranges) paired well with the feta cheese and dressing. If you're a salad person, I'd definitely recommend trying it whenever you're at Longhorn.

Typical chain steakhouse restaurant. Nothing special. Just wanted a simple dinner... service was okay. Don't expect 5 star. I guess it depends on who you get as a server... I would say the staff is running the restaurant. No manager on site... at least during my 1.5 hours of dining. Steak was over cooked and the baked potato was warm at best.

Second time eating at this Longhorn and my last. I has a salad and in my salad I found a bug. I let the manager know about it and got we wash the food, blah blah.

French onion soup by the cup or bowel. Both are delicious

Excellent food. Very tasty and well seasoned. Great portion sizes. French onion soup hit the spot. Ribeye on the bone was super tasty down to gnawing on the bone to savor the grilled on seasoning. Great service by Camden, the bar tender, and front desk. Curious that so many guests were waiting for tables even though many tables were actually empty. 15 minute wait was still fine, but the bar tender had his hands full with bar dining and drinking. They should really have moved people to the empty tables and put another bar tender on to cope with the rush. Ambience was on point with the theme and yet intimate for a great personal dining experience on my birthday.

The outside of the building isn't much to look at. Some might pass by, we didn't. I rated the Cattle Ranch 4 stars but if 3.5 was allowed, it would be my choice. We were greeted right away and was seated. The inside of the building needs a refresh even more than the outside. However, the restaurant was busy, families eating, people laughing, sometimes the locals know, it's one of the locally owned restaurants, not a chain. This is a good sign. I'm all in on the local, hole in the wall places. Our Server and our service was excellent. Good menu, plenty of choices and the eight of us had just about everything, Porterhouse, Ribeyes, fillets, burgers, salads. Food was very good, no complaints, ample amounts on sides. Rest rooms were also in need of a refresh but the were working. All in all and after our experience we would return.

One of my favorite things about it is that it hasn't changed much over the years, but in the best way. It's family-run, the vibe is comfortable and familiar, and the staff has always been amazing. We've had countless dinners here with big groups (10+ people), and they deliver every single time. That kind of consistency is rare. What I order every single visit: Salad with house dressing, it's honestly one of my favorite dressings anywhere. Loaded Buckskins - You have to get these. Think a cross between a steak fry and a potato wedge, loaded with cheese and bacon, addictively good. Petite strip steak - Perfect portion, cooked and seasoned just right every time. Simple, consistent, and exactly what you want. They also bring out warm brown bread with your meal that just hits, and a side of applesauce that I've come to think of as the perfect little palate cleanser, such a simple touch, but it makes the experience feel even more classic. This is one of those places that feels like home. No frills, no trends, just really good food, great people, and decades of consistency. This will absolutely be a staple for me as long as I live in Sanford.

A perk of going early was we were able to participate in happy hour! We got some discounted old-fashioned, which were lovely. To be honest, I don't remember what I got for dessert, I think it was toffee cake or bread, pudding or something? It was very good though, my husband got the Keylime and he was jealous of my dessert. The manager and the chef both came out and said hello and checked on us, which we both appreciated. It was a great experience overall, we want to come back and try their brunch!

My friend treated me to a birthday lunch this week and when we got to the table, the staff had a birthday card waiting for me! How thoughtful! We came during happy hour and decided to try a few small plates and drinks. The Egg Rolls are a must! They were packed with flavor and a variety of ingredients. My friend especially loved the shrimp. We also tried the quesadillas and sliders on the happy hour menu. Both dishes tasted incredible! Sadly, though the happy hour has half priced apps, the plates are also half sized. They were absolutely delicious, but the dishes felt overpriced for the portion size. As for drinks, I tried the sangria flight. I wasn't expecting such a full portion size and was pleasantly surprised with that. I did, however, only find 2 of the 4 drinks to be especially tasty. I wouldn't order that flight again, but would be interested in their wine offerings. I loved the low lighting in the space as it set such a calm and laid back mood. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and especially loved the food! Totally recommend.

Most recently I went in to grab food to go. I walked up to the line where you order and I had to wait for two employees to finish their personal conversation before they acknowledged me. I told them what I wanted and they passed my paper to the cashier. I was a little confused because I was getting brisket and they did not ask how I wanted it (lean, moist, etc) so I asked if I was supposed to go to the cashier or stay with the people making my food. I got a little bit of an attitude from the employee who said to go to the cashier. I ordered sliders by the way, I haven't ordered them in a while so maybe you don't get a choice on type of brisket if you get sliders? Not sure. I paid and waited for my order to get finished (never told them how I wanted my brisket) and the cashier handed me my bag. I looked inside, no utensils, no sauce, no napkins. I asked for sauce and she grabbed a handful and dropped it into my bag like I was bothering her. I figured I was asking too much to ask for napkins so I stopped at a table and grabbed some paper towels from one of the rolls. Finally get to where i'm able to eat. I used to get the sliders all the time so I was excited! You get a variety and they're big sliders, like hefty! Boy was i disappointed when I opened my to-go box. The portion of meat was atleast half of what i've gotten in the past and for my pork slider it was maybe 1/3 of the meat it usually is. I ended up taking the top part of the slider bun off and eating them like open faced sandwiches because otherwise there would have been more bread than meat. Overall, 4Rivers is one of my favorite BBQ spots, I love the Messy Pig and the Six Shooter and all their desserts! I really hope I just went on off days and this isn't the new norm for 4R!

Besides- not all of us were doing it anyways and we always order a ton of stuff. Some lady came over and informed my friend that she could take her baby outside because it was crying. I was annoyed by that because the kid wasn't being terrible and was consolable AND it's Sunday night- not Friday date night or whatever. The audacity of that woman. Kids need to learn to behave at the table, yes, and the kid is one and he was doing pretty well. He deserved more of a chance. I don't have kids nor do I like them but I was not on board with that lady basically telling my friend to take a walk with her kid. Besides that- our server was great although she seemed a bit rushed. When we needed like a second to think she was immediately like - would you like more time? Do you need more time? Like ok lady. Go do whatever you need to do and come back. Stop making us feel rushed. Cocktails and drinks came out slow. I was glad to see a change in their cocktail menu. I feel like that is a weak spot for them, historically. I had a killer bee, which was awesome. My husband had the nutty old fashioned. We had two orders of the milk bread which comes w that citrus butter- yum. We also had their fabulous deviled eggs. One person had the French onion soup- looked good. For magical dining app, I did the magical dining w the tuna crudo, one gal got the beet salad, and her husband got the house salad. For magical dining dinner, all three of us got the Bakkafrost Scottish salmon. It came w roasted tomatoes and a piece of grilled fennel and lemon beurre blanc on the side. Yum. The rest of the table had the regular menu- an order of pork chop, the seabass, an 8 oz filet, New York strip and a ribeye. We ordered family style sides- French fries, broccolini, lobster Mac and cheese. For dessert, we had key lime pie x2, cheesecake x3, and brownie x1. The key lime has a whipped consistency- not traditional. The flavor is good but the texture was not my fave. Everything else was standard. All in all we had a nice dinner and good conversation. Service was great and attentive- coming back to refill water and get the next round of drinks and clear plates. She even boxed our food for us. I just think management needs a reality check. Don't deny large tables the magical dining. Only 3 out of 8 of us actually did it. And don't encourage your staff to tell customers with kids to take a walk.
