About a year later and still enjoying the ambiance and food. As I've said before, the food is pretty consistent across the many locations I've visited and I've been to several in my travels. Today I had the trifecta with a belgian waffle, soft scramble eggs and the chicken apple sausage. Firstly, I have been obsessed with the million dollar bacon for so long that I love that you an upgrade and get two slices as a side. That being said, my new favorite is in fact the chicken apple sausage It is so rich and tasty in flavor. My eggs and Belgian waffle were also made to perfection. I've met friends here a couple of times, and have to say, what an upgrade to the former Paneras's! The open concept and bright lighting are very welcoming. They also offer a Juice bar and alcoholic beverages, located at the bar area. The menu offers plenty of options, from omelets and frittatas to bowls, salads, and sandwiches. Plenty of beverage choices abound from fresh-squeezed juices to coffees, teas, and Coke-products. I personally enjoy the Project Sunrise coffee. While I don't call myself a coffee snob, I do enjoy good-tasting roasts. I've ordered the Power Wrap under "The Healthier Side" of the menu. I appreciate the egg whites as the base and the combo of spinach, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella. The entree includes a small dish of house-made pico de gallo (a little amount, IMO) and a dish of fresh fruit (plus I liberally sprinkled some Cholula hot sauce on it). The flavors melded and amount was just right to satisfy and not feel stuffed. Our service was solid. Seating is an assortment of tables and booths, with seating outside as an option. I'm always a big fan of First Watch and it remains consistent! This was my first time at this location and I was instantly struck by how open and beautiful the inside is! We came at prime brunch time on Sunday, yet still were able to get seated quickly and food came out quickly as well. They recently made some menu changes, but many items still are on there. By far the best location I've visited. The staff here have great energy! They are so friendly and attentive. Our server, I believe her name was Michelle was amazing. Got take out brunch here about a month and a half ago. I don't eat pork, and specifically asked for the breakfast bowl without the chorizo. Guess what was mixed in! I really enjoy this First Watch location, it's spacious with plenty of seating and a great inside/outside bar area that adds a nice touch. I usually go for the Power Breakfast Bowl, but this time I tried the Pesto Chicken Power Bowl, and both are absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I can't come here without ordering the Morning Meditation juice--it's so fresh, vibrant, and honestly the perfect start to the day. Their seasoned potatoes are another go-to for me, always cooked just right and so comforting. I also want to highlight the manager, Fernando. He always goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and taken care of--whether it's checking in at the tables, jumping in to help his team when it's busy, or just greeting everyone with a smile. You can tell he really cares about both the guests and his staff, and that makes such a difference in the overall experience. Many gluten free options! I've been here a couple of times recently and had a good experience each time. We were warmly greeted at the door and sat immediately on our most recent visit. I was told the allergies are listed when you scan the qr code on the regular menu, which was a little unclear so I just asked if the bacado omelet was gf and it was. I appreciated that the omlete wasn't over cooked. It was a nice mix of bacon, cheese, avocado and sour cream. The gf bread was the norm texture wise and I didnt try the jam provided but it smelled tasty. The lemon vinegarette side salad is a tasty, light option. The servers have all been friendly, knowledgeable and have double checked on any gluten free questions if they didn't know offhand. A new First Watch popped up in Winter Springs this year! I've been here a couple times already on a weekday for brunch. Parking is tight in this plaza so you may have to search for a spot. Feel like you need a pick me up? Choose from healthy drinks, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. Sip on your beverage within the open floor plan or they even have a bar. The bar is a nice addition if you're solo and want to get in and out! Food and service is consistent. I like to order the omelets and you can get a salad and gluten free bread. They have a kids menu here too, so it really has something for everyone. This First Watch will be on my list of go-to brunch spots close to my house! read more

I love the vibe inside. It's rustic and very nicely decorated. The food is good and the servers are nice. It also doesn't take very long for the food to come out. If they could improve on anything, it would be adding more of the menu items to the online ordering menu. Specifically the eggs Benedict. I love the different types of eggs Benedict they have. I will specifically be coming back to this location just to have him be my server, because he really did make the dining experience that much better. We visited during opening week. The general manager of the store literally told us that they train their staff and they also train their customers. That is not a good business practice or location that is just duly opened. I made a reservation for four people and one baby. I think that's pretty clear that there are five people total one needs a highchair. I guess the staff or the GM at that location had a hard time understanding that which is why he felt the need to approach us one of the first days. There are many other first watch locations. I'll have to go to one of those instead of this one. The food is always great and the servers know their food. But the manager needs to be better with customers. read more

I was invited for a Friends and Family event and while I've been to First Watch before, it's been years. I popped in during lunch time and was immediately greeted and seated. Within few minutes, I was asked if I wanted fresh hot coffee but I asked if they had iced coffee and she gave me some options and I decided to try the caramel crunch iced coffee. For my main meal I got avocado toast which came with eggs. I had my eggs over medium/hard vs runny. I was able to customize my option and add cheese to my avocado toast. When my food came I was expecting the eggs to be on top of the toast but they were on the side, which was fine and I cut them in half and put it on top. They did not skimp out on the avocado. I got a side of breakfast potatoes which were perfectly roasted and seasoned. They had Cholula hot sauce on the table which complimented the food well. I did ask for a glass water and since I wasn't the biggest fan of the caramel crunch iced coffee I got one of the speciality juices as well. This location is spacious and has brightness to it. It is located in a plaza and there is a shared parking lot with ample parking. I was checked up on and everything was great. read more

My husband and I enjoy eating out as much as we can, whether it's breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. There are several locations of this restaurant "First Watch," and we have nothing but praise for their delicious food and friendly and attentive staff; however, depending on the location and the architecture of the building, the noice level can be almost deafening. A few of these restaurants have very, very high ceilings with NO acoustics to cut down on high decibel levels. When people go out to eat, they want (among other things) a peaceful meal. They want to enjoy and converse with whomever they are with, without having to shout at each other. The Lake Mary "First Watch" location is the best because they have normal ceiling heights, which allow for a very pleasant atmosphere and a more quiet dining experience. Once again, their food at all locations is wonderful, but if you desire a more quiet dining experience, the Lake Mary location is the best. The noise level at the restaurant at Red Bug Lake Rd and Tuskawilla is just ridiculous. If not for the noise level of this particular location, I would have rated them 5 star. read more

First Watch is normally a great place however, on November 20 at their new location at 5723 Red Bug Lake Rd, Winter Springs, FL 32708 I had a bad experience. I am a dog person. I love dogs and have many dogs over the years but I know better. Even though they have the sign in the front window 'service dogs only' and the managers are trained to keep pets out they let a "snowflake" couple in with their DOG ‼ I was enjoying my birthday brunch with my son, and as the server was placing some of the food on our table this couple just walked by and their dog almost ate my breakfast sausages . It put it nose on our table, but the couple quickly pulled him back and sat down two booths over. After I finished eating, I went over and took some video of the 'snowflakes' and their dog, asking them if that was a legally registered service animal. They looked at me and laughed and said it was their emotional pet. I went and talked to the manager and discussed the situation. He admitted that when the couple came in he felt they were lying as they had no service animal information for their dog. Another manager came over and they were both obviously, very flustered by the situation. I told them I would be filing a complaint with First Watch corporate and the Seminole county health department. read more

We've been several times and I keep having different breakfast meals that come with a hollandaise sauce, but it's a strong lemon flavor. Today was a "chickichanga", so a breakfast version of a chimichanga. No mention of hollandaise, but sure enough. And unfortunately, lots of lemon. I was done after two bites and had to pay for yet another meal that just wasn't appetizing (waitress saw that I didn't eat it and only asked if I wanted a box)....except for the potatoes. We had a wonderful experience at the soft opening of the new First Watch in Winter Springs. Service and food were outstanding. We have been to many of these restaurants before. However, we tried some new items. I had the 1/2 roast beef sandwich on sour dough bread with horseradish and the honey pecan romaine salad. I took half of it home. Had a delicious ice coffee too. My husband had a breakfast wrap that he enjoyed with the meditation juice and a side of fruit. We will be back. Considering this was Mother's Day and had a good crowd everything was on point.
